Janel is magic. It was important to us to work with someone who is supportive of the LGBT community and could handle our niche details, and Janel did so much more than that. From day one, she has caused us to feel so stress free and supported....

From all of the many small details, to advocating for us with other vendors, to being available 24/7 for last minute changes, to the big details.. She has everything covered. In meetings with other wedding professionals and in meetings with our own wedding party, I often found myself literally looking at and to Janel for answers and she was not only willing, but happy to offer her help when we needed her (which was quite often!). Janel was our Team Captain on our team and we couldn't have asked for a better leader. We adore her and will recommend her to all of our friends.

ear and a half of working with her. She always had prompt replies and always made time for a phone call, video chat, etc. She is such a kind and genuine person. She is the best and worth every penny. She always had a vision, and made everything that we had for decor come together perfectly. I trusted her with every decision, and you should too! The night of our wedding, we decided mid reception that we wanted some drapes lifted up so that everyone could enjoy the mountain views - she called the venues team and orchestrated the entire thing - and the drapes were up within no time. I had no idea any of this was even going on. I honestly was having so much fun dancing that I never really saw her, but throughout the night, she still managed to check on myself and my husband, making sure we had something to drink, had enough food during dinner, etc. She was incredible. She made the entire wedding planning process stress free. I was in an entire different state, and she somehow helped me pull off the most perfect weekend and best weekend of our lives. I will forever be grateful for Janel and her team. I highly recommend her and her staff for your big day. I can't thank her enough. She is simply the best.

Janel communicates with all vendors, comes to venue walk throughs, kept me organized, after each meeting gave me a to do list, and much much more! She removed any type of stress on the day of our wedding, and it was seamless! After the wedding, she returned a few items to my vendors, and I didn’t even know she did that until I reached out to the vendors telling them I no longer have their items (lol). To my surprise, they said Janel returned them. She also had my wedding dress, to my surprise, I did not know it was missing. She is a saint and a savor! Do not hesitate to hire Janel and her team!

le should have on their wedding day. The detail-oriented nature of the planning process, from online seat diagrams to vendor communication, greatly reduced the work load on us as a couple. All of this was complimented with amazing in-person meetings where we were able to ask all of the questions and were always met with kindness and support. On top of that, there was always a contingency plan for anything that could go wrong, which removed any stress on us during the wedding day about weather. We can't recommend Janel and her team at Mountain Magnolia enough. They were truly a life saver, went above and beyond and felt like close friends by the end of the wedding. Plus, our dog really liked her and she was able to make sure we could include our pup in the wedding day.

gned a third-party wedding planner by our venue, Rist Canyon Inn, for our June 2021 wedding - I couldn't have been happier with the pairing. Janel balanced me out, and I sure appreciated her expertise, directness, attention to detail, timeliness, and organizational approach. Planning, coordinating, and implementing a wedding is so different to the other community events I lead, that I was so grateful to have Janel's insights, patience, and affirmation. When she challenged us, it only improved our experiences and outcomes. When she supported us, it made for ease and enjoyment. She never really took over, she merely steadied and supported us, and dealt with vendors in ways that really made a difference. Her work the day of the wedding particularly made it better, as she was a very engaged fly on the wall. I imagine she did more than we will ever know the day of, and I would highly recommend her and Mountain Magnolia Weddings & Events to anyone.

She met with us several times before the wedding, and she provided countless recommendations during the planning phase.
