Nestled on 52 spectacular acres in the scenic western Catskills, Mountain Meadows is an exclusive mountain wedding venue offering a private, destination-style wedding experience. Surrounded by rolling meadows, forested hills, and breathtaking natural beauty, our property feels less like a traditional wedding venue and more like a secluded mountain retreat. Mountain Meadows is ideal for couples seeking a Catskills wedding venue that offers privacy, flexibility, and an immersive weekend experience. We host weddings of up to 175 reception guests and provide overnight accommodations for up to 30 guests on-site, making it perfect for destination weddings, weekend weddings, and wedding retreats. With everything in one place, couples and their closest friends and family can relax, celebrate, and truly be present from welcome drinks through farewell brunch.
What truly sets Mountain Meadows apart is its story. Originally our family compound, the property evolved into a five-star Airbnb-style mountain resort, and in 2025 we opened our spectacular new party barn and lodge, elevating the experience even further. Today, Mountain Meadows blends modern rustic design with refined comfort — the best of both worlds for couples who want a rustic barn wedding without sacrificing elegance, space, or amenities. Think soaring timber beams, thoughtful architectural details, and a setting that feels elevated yet relaxed.
We intentionally do not offer in-house catering, giving couples complete freedom to personalize their celebration. Instead, we provide a vetted list of preferred wedding caterers in the Catskills, all familiar with the property and experienced in creating exceptional events across a wide range of styles, cuisines, and budgets. This flexibility allows couples to design a wedding that truly reflects their tastes and priorities.
Mountain Meadows hosts only one wedding at a time, offering exclusive use of the entire property. Almost twenty years ago, we created Mountain Meadows as a place to gather with friends and family and make meaningful memories together. What began as our family’s private retreat has grown organically into something far more special — a place filled with warmth, beauty, and a sense of belonging that guests feel the moment they arrive.
Now, with our children grown, we find immense joy in opening Mountain Meadows to other couples and families, sharing the love and happiness that this land has given us over the years. Drawing inspiration from our travels around the world and across all 50 states, we set out to create a setting that feels both elevated and deeply personal.
With the addition of our party barn and lodge, Mountain Meadows has become a destination for life’s most meaningful celebrations — blending modern comfort with rustic charm in a way that feels relaxed, intentional, and welcoming.
