The venue has some of the most gorgeous mountain views and you cannot go wrong with a beautiful barn nestled in the mountains. This was perfect for my smaller wedding (46 total guests) and our day was everything we could’ve hoped for. The barn is very well maintained and the bridal suite was just enough room for my smaller party. For someone with a larger wedding party I’d recommend touring the space before deciding to get ready here, but it was perfect for us! Amazing team and incredible venue.

As the owner of Splashes of Time Photography (splashesoftime.com) I must say I love photographing weddings at Mountain Mist Farm. The venue is beautiful and their team is amazing. So many great photo locations. I highly recommend!

The view is definitely the main attraction here. It is breathtaking and my guests loved it. The venue Diana coordinator was very nice and helpful, and she answered all my questions.
The reason I give it 3 stars is because I planned this out of state and was not able to see the venue before I booked. I felt a bit duped by a few things:
I was told the venue was heated- it was NOT. Their “heating” is space heaters. I was not told this ahead of time and I showed up day of my wedding to see staff putting together space heaters. We got married beginning of November, it was nice and warm outside with the sun- but very cold inside of the venue. Everyone one of my guests had their jackets one, many had their winter coats on throughout most of the reception. I felt terrible for them that they were so cold, the space heaters were definitely not adequate for the weather.
The venue says they can accommodate up to 120, but that is really pushing it. We had 109 and we had to shove tables to the side to make room for the dance floor. Still, there was not much room for a dance floor- it was pretty tiny. I was not told we would have to move tables ahead of time, so it kinda threw me off.
They also had my guests wait on the side and front of the building when they arrived instead of putting them in the back of the barn where the ceremony took place and we had a harpist. Literally the harpist was playing on the patio in the back and the wedding planner kept everyone in the front? My dad had to go tell her to move people back do they could hear the music we had provided and paid for.

My husband and I fell in love with the view and it did not disappoint! Diana, Anastasia and her assistant, JD, and all of our vendors did a tremendous job of making our dream wedding come to life but staying very cost effective! We ended up having a guest count of 45 and it was the perfect amount! We were able to interact with everyone one on one, have plenty of room for the bar/dj/catering/cake, as well as plenty of room to bust a move on the dance floor! Thank you MMF crew for helping make my dream wedding a reality!

GORGEOUS venue. The view is fantastic. Space appears mostly appropriate for a wedding crew <120 (if you desire space to dance) Everyone was amazed at the scenery. Well kept grounds. Poor reception and limited parking so consider a shuttle/transportation option. Facilities in good condition. Pictures on social media do not do it justice!

Had our rehearsal dinner here, and we were so impressed. Penny was amazing at helping us coordinate, and the decor selection was fantastic. The team is very proactive and helpful with the planning process. Would definitely recommend!

This venue was absolutely amazing!! I loved that it was all-inclusive so I didn't have to worry about buying any decorations. They had everything you could ever imagine to help make your wedding beautiful! They were so easy to work with and helped with every step of the way. Oh, and the views were beyond what a picture could capture. 10/10 recommend booking your event here!

Lindsay & all her staff were so great to work with. They kept in contact with me super often & always made sure I was happy with any decisions made. They did set up & tear down for us & were so kind & creative with everything they did! I felt blessed to have worked with them after losing two previous venues due to COVID. Plus the scenery was freaking GORGEOUS. Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. Cassie was my day of coordinator & she helped me SO much in a process where I knew nothing 😂 she was so sweet & even calmed me down before walking down the aisle ❤️

Working with Mountain Mist Famrs and Custom Love Gifts was an absolute DREAM! We're from Louisiana and decided to run off and get married in the Smokies. We found Mountain Mist Farms and fell in love with the ceremony site and knew we had to get married there! This venue and the partners at Custom Love Gifts made this an absolute breeze! All I had to do was tell them my vision for the day, and they turned it into a reality! Serious id recommend this place and these incredible people to anyone and everyone I know! I was completely stress-free throughout the entire wedding planning process because of this group of people and I cannot thank them enough for it!

My wife and I started out with a rocky experience with this venue. With that said it wasn't due to the owner but an employee that took off with our money. The owner made everything right and vent over backwards to give us the best wedding imaginable. Everything came together and the venue is beautiful. The caterer had delicious food and the new even planner was just amazing! Thank you so much Mountain Mist Farm Venue for more than I ever could of expected!

DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT GRT MARRIED HERE. BIGGEST SCAM!!!!! Paid good money and everything fell through from the flowers, decorations, and even the priest!! Event planner who owns this webpage did not show up!!! She disconnected her phone and went completely off the grid. Truly a vile person, a true con artist.
