Nestled in The White Mountains of NH Mountain Roots Farm is a flower farm that provides floral arrangements and design services for weddings. The owners of the farm are dedicated to not only their craft but also to living in an environmentally friendly way. This philosophy drives their work and they create arrangements for weddings using seasonally produced flora.
The story of Mountain Roots Farm begins in 1848 when it was built as a dairy farm and home. Come the 1980s and the land was transformed into a flower farm. When the grounds were bought in 2013 by Kevin Gordon and Heidi Cook, they worked to restore the farm to reflect its historical origins. Eventually, they stuck with the use of the land for flowers, growing the materials for their work and shaping them into a myriad of designs. Heidi and Kevin are also known for their bread and pastries, which they sell at the local farmer’s market.
Mountain Roots Farms works with couples to determine the flowers that best suit their wedding. Blooms and fresh cuts are picked from the farm’s own selection, meaning that the arrangements are respectful of the seasons and earth. Kevin and Heidi can travel to Vermont, greater New Hampshire, and Maine to provide their organically grown designs.

We had our ceremony a couple days before our reception, and Heidi had my bouquet ready early and coordinated a pick up so that I could have it for the ceremony.
