About this vendor
Nestled in The White Mountains of NH Mountain Roots Farm is a flower farm that provides floral arrangements and design services for weddings. The owners of the farm are dedicated to not only their craft but also to living in an environmentally friendly way. This philosophy drives their work and they create arrangements for weddings using seasonally produced flora.
The story of Mountain Roots Farm begins in 1848 when it was built as a dairy farm and home. Come the 1980s and the land was transformed into a flower farm. When the grounds were bought in 2013 by Kevin Gordon and Heidi Cook, they worked to restore the farm to reflect its historical origins. Eventually, they stuck with the use of the land for flowers, growing the materials for their work and shaping them into a myriad of designs. Heidi and Kevin are also known for their bread and pastries, which they sell at the local farmer’s market.
Mountain Roots Farms works with couples to determine the flowers that best suit their wedding. Blooms and fresh cuts are picked from the farm’s own selection, meaning that the arrangements are respectful of the seasons and earth. Kevin and Heidi can travel to Vermont, greater New Hampshire, and Maine to provide their organically grown designs.

We went with ceremony flowers, personal flowers including pocket boutonnières, a collar for our dog, bud vases for tables, and flowers down the center of the barn. Heidi’s designs were perfect for the space!

ers that would bring that to life, and meticulously arranging them into magnificent displays. We gave her a challenge with our Mountaintop ceremony and she was able to pull it off, transporting all our ceremony flowers up the chairlift for our event. She uses a lot of her homegrown flowers that really brought out vision to life. We got a lot of amazed feedback from our guests on how well the flowers looked. We could not recommend Mountain Roots more!

er original proposal was very detailed and gave us a really good sense of spend that stayed accurate throughout the process. We had our ceremony a couple days before our reception, and Heidi had my bouquet ready early and coordinated a pick up so that I could have it for the ceremony. She also connected me with the woman who made the vessels for our reception flowers so that I could have some made for us to keep, which was such a great bonus. I cannot recommend Heidi and Mountain Roots Farm enough!!

t go with our initial email chain - Heidi was amazing with feeling out what I wanted for florals at the wedding. She sent inspirations and various photos that she had completed in the past to ask exactly what I was envisioning. The months leading up the wedding, she sent us a Mood Board that captured the colors and feel that we were going for - which I couldn’t be happier for! The morning of the wedding when I walked into the ballroom - I was literally blown away by the centerpieces she had created. We asked her to do a King’s Landscape and it was truly jaw dropping. The entire wedding party and all of our guests were complementing us on the florals the entire night! Weeks after, my parents are still commenting how beautiful they were. Working with Heidi from start to finish was a pleasure and she is amazing!

When our wedding day came and I walked into our room and saw the bouquets, I started crying. They were everything that I was dreaming of and more.
