I cannot say enough about Janice and all of the ladies at Mountain Styles. Janice was incredibly organized and regularly touched base with me to update timing and wedding day details. We had a number of events in the West Dover area and my mom, sister, and mother-in-law, went to Mountain Styles to get ready for every event. I loved my hair every single time and loved both my hair and my make-up on the day of my wedding. I was so looking forward to being at the salon with my mother and bridesmaids and Janice made those few hours so incredibly special. We had such a fantastic time drinking mimosas, getting primped, and laughing together. The experience was SO relaxing. Janice was very clear about how long it would take for all ten of us to get our hair and make-up done. We were ready ahead of time and I was so grateful that we never felt rushed or behind schedule. Janice, Melissa, and Jen – thank you for being so fantastic. You made the first few hours of my wedding day so relaxing and enjoyable. You are all incredible.

Best salon ever! I love Mountain Styles! My husband and I relocated here from CT about a month ago. I scouted out a few salons in the area, and recommendations as far away as Manchester VT, but none felt as calming and relaxing as when I walked into this one. As soon as I did, I knew I had found "the one." The salon smells amazing, has soft music playing, is very neat, clean, comfortable, attractive, current. Definitely a spa feeling. Janice, the owner, and every one else I've met who work there are extremely friendly and eager to serve. You feel welcome and pampered, like a treasured guest and friend. Truly a treat! My husband was extremely pleased with his cut and I've never had such a good first experience in any salon, anywhere, including higher end ones in NY and CT that cost far more. Good range of services at reasonable prices. Janice nailed my color, cut, and blowout on the first try. I love all the wonderful products she used on my hair. She is experienced, professional, dedicated, personable, great at both listening and making suggestions, and just a joy to be around. The salon also sells a great assortment of hair and skin products, all very attractively displayed, as well as cool accessories like jewelry and scarves. I didn't give in to temptation this visit but may have to in future! I can hardly wait to go back for my next appointment. This place is the best!!! So glad I found it. Thank you, Janice!

these other reviews must be real old because I had a horrible experience. The owner Janice was very rude when I tried to book an appointment with her and at first told me it wasn't her. I heard good things so I wanted to try her out. then when I asked to maybe send an e-mail since I have been calling all week and unable to reach her she then tells me that this is her and she's not accepting clients. why not just tell me that in the beginning instead of lying for a whole week. If booking an appointment is this bad I can't imagine going for service WORST SALON EVER

Mountain Styles Salon & Spa did such a beautiful job on my hear as well as all the bridesmaids. The make-up was great as well. They made sure that we liked it, or they would fix it. I loved everything about the process. They shut down the salon for just us and provided us with OJ, fruit and muffins. I would recommend them to anyone!

Janice and her crew brought breakfast and shut down the whole salon for my wedding party, we played music and enjoyed the morning. All of the girls looked great with both hair and make-up. Also, a few of my girls showed up late and they still had everyone looking beautiful right on time and we never felt the least bit rushed! They were the best!

my bridesmaids started my wedding day off with hair and mimosas at mountain styles. They worked my store bought clip on extensions into my hair and did a beautiful side sweep of curls. Each of my bridesmaids picked different hairstyles which the hairstylists completed perfectly. I then brought in some make up and had a stylist give me the perfect look. She also used some of the salon make up for the pieces I was missing. The stylists really helped me complete my bride look!
