Nikki is amazing and made our dream wedding vision a reality. She is incredibly talented, professional, organized, a great communicator and had an extensive network to reach out to for every little detail. We had no stress as we were confident that Nikki would take care of everything. She did and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Our wedding was stunning and magical thanks to Nikki and we are forever grateful that we and our family and friends will have such wonderful memories of our special day.

Nikki with MTE is the best planner we could have had for our fall, mountain wedding at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe. She nailed it with our dreams and ideas and she created this beautiful and magical day for us! She is with you all the way until the end. Nikki is on top of it with clear communication and being available as much as possible. My hubby and I felt that we easily clicked with her and she always made next steps easy and simple. Nikki and her Mountain Thyme Events team was absolutely spectacular! Truly. The whole planning process was seamless because of Nikki and her ability to communicate, plan and keep us on track. Nikki has a great design eye and it was extremely helpful that she has worked with many (if not all) of the vendors in the Tahoe area -- and they all love her! Nikki was a LARGE part of making our day as successful as it was. She thought of things I forgot, she kept our timeline on track and she made sure every guest felt appreciated and honored. Nikki's expertise in the small things is what I remember most. She has been in the industry for years and knows what works and what doesn't. She is decisive and the best partner in planning. I cannot think of enough wonderful things to say about Nikki. We had the pleasure of having her for our day-of coordinator but she truly went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly from our first meeting, to the rehersal, all the way to the day after the wedding. It was so valuable to have someone so knowledgable about all things Tahoe to guide us with vendors, set up, timelines, and all the little details. She set up our wedding so beautifully and then had everything packed up and organized at the end of the night which allowed us to enjoy ourselves and relax the day after which was so valuable. She was organized, thoughtful, calm, and, above all, kind. She made us so excited and special, while also taking any and all stresses away. I can absolutely say that having her with us made our day the best it could possible be. We felt very lucky to have her with us and would tell every couple that hiring her is best decision they could make when planning a wedding.

We have nothing but good things to say about Nikki. She's professional, capable, organized and the exact type of calming presence you want by your side when planning a wedding. Nikki was great to work with from the beginning. She made it super easy to plan our wedding from a different location. On the day of our wedding, we had some rain so had to pivot our original plans. Nikki did a great job with this switch up. She was easy to communicate with throughout. We'd definitely recommend Nikki for anyone looking to have their wedding in the Tahoe area!

Nikki helped me plan a destination wedding while pregnant and post-partum. With little sleep, working fulltime, and juggling all normal things thrown my way by everyday life: Nikki kept me on it. She went above and beyond to lock in key vendors and took over all communication with said vendors. She found me great vendors who's style was everything I could want and more! She took all the stress out of planning a wedding. She is an effective communicator, and is responsive, creative, and she really listens. I interviewed many wedding planners and am SO glad we chose Nikki. Some just could not understand my vision and she nailed it. After a Zoom meeting she followed up with a venue she thought embodied everything I wanted. (I was post-partum and being e-mailed by lots of wedding planners and missed the message). A few weeks later I was looking at venues and found the perfect one on my own. To my surprise I had an e-mail detailing this site already in my inbox. That's when I hired Nikki. It was the same one she recommended from the start. I also appreciated her payment structures. She has a flat fee and is not incentivised to spend your money. She also stepped in to save us money wherever she could. She helped with stationary, she built a princess wagon for our daughter to go down the aisle. She stepped in wherever she was needed and did so with a great attitude. Have a happy wedding with someone who will ensure they do everything in their power to make your dreams a reality- choose Nikki!

I'm so glad we hired Nikki! We initially hired her for day-of coordination but soon switched to full planning and I'm so glad we did. Nikki communicated well with us to understand our wants and then translated those over to a beautifully executed event. She handled so many details both on my radar and off and kept a low-key, low-stress demeanor throughout it all. She has great vendor connections and had already worked with most of the vendors we picked out which helped the event come together. On the day of the wedding she was in the thick of it handling questions, keeping things going and on track so that my day was completely stress-free and I could enjoy the party.

How do I say everything I love and appreciate about Nikki? She was so pivotal in our wedding weekend and was incredibly helpful and supportive in the months and weeks leading up! She was perfect at every turn. She handled everything with professionalism and I felt she truly had our wants and needs in mind and somehow made our wedding even better than I dreamed of!! Nikki is an amazing planner, organizer and designer! She was so helpful from beginning to end and helped make our wedding dreams come true! Our wedding decor was mainly used items (not all matching) that I gathered from random places and she arranged them on our wedding day in such an amazing way that it looked fancy and festive ! I was absolutely blown away by what she came up with! Nikki is also kind and so professional; she was prompt with responses and on time for meetings and more. I would 100% work with her again and recommend her services to anyone wanting to get married in the Tahoe area (but she travels too!).

Where to begin – She is simply the BEST! When considering how to review Nikki, the following elements were our biggest takeaways after working with her (including but not limited to) … Communication: Nikki is a highly effective and efficient communicator! The way she listened and asked questions to better understand our big picture was amazing. And it was not limited to planning the event - Nikki assumed a supportive role for us in moments of stress or uncertainty and exceeded our expectations in every way! Creativity: Nikki brought our vision to life in every single detail and way – we wanted a disco theme incorporated somehow and for our sweet dog Moe to be highlighted. She took these ideas and integrated them tastefully and beautifully into each aspect of our event! Specialization: With Nikki’s long history in high-end event planning and production, she brought a knowledge and thoroughness to the event design that brought sophisticated and understated elegance to our wedding. Her knowledge of the available options locally, and how she presented them, made it so easy to make decisions confidently. Guidance and Coordination: Nikki took a directive role and was able to skillfully and tactfully keep the flow of events easy, and our preferences honored. During our ceremony rehearsal, she made sure to set the tone of the event with intention and gratitude, and clearly outlined our desired outcomes with our families in a group huddle – something we had never expected but it made us feel so understood as a couple and our families felt clearly communicated with! Soul and Style: Nikki has a calm, kind, and hilarious demeanor. She made us feel comfortable every step of the way and brought a levity to planning that made it fun. She made initially daunting tasks feel achievable by making them enjoyable. We always looked forward to our meetings with her, and truly loved being in her company. These elements were present alongside a million others. She helped us created the best day of our lives - we’d absolutely recommend working with Nikki!

Nikki was such an great planner to work with! She was attentive and very easy to get in touch with. She always had great recommendations and suggestions for options for our wedding. All of her recommended contacts were professional and easy to work with. Booking a wedding with all of the challenges of the pandemic is stressful but Nikki’s flexibility and calm demeanor had us at ease the whole time. Definitely would recommend her!

Nikki was without a doubt the most important person we hired for our wedding! She made everything run smoothly, made us feel relaxed and prepared, and she took care of so many things for us! Nikki was amazing and I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with her! I actually found Nikki through a happy chance while inquiring about a new venue and although that didn't pan out, she continued to stay in touch and provide recommendations throughout my wedding planning process. Once we did end up finding a venue, I immediately thought of Nikki and am so glad that I chose her as my day-of-coordinator! Nikki was prompt, responsive, helpful, and did everything we needed with a smile on her face. We had a massive DIY wedding with a TON of homemade florals and decor and Nikki handled all of our items with care and made sure everything was setup as I wanted. Even though our venue came with a coordinator, we couldn't have pulled off the wedding of our dreams without her! Nikki also has great vendor relationships in the Tahoe/Truckee area so when our wedding was cancelled for a week due to the Caldor fire, Nikki came to our rescue with backup recommendations. She provided all of the support that I needed to have my dream wedding and even boxed everything back the day after for easy cleanup. 5 stars all around!

Nikki was the perfect coordinator for our wedding for many reasons. First of all, she perfectly executed all our wants and needs without a hitch and on top of that she made me feel so at ease the entire day. Never once was I bothered with a problem or question, as she took the reigns and knew exactly how to make everything special. She was able to give us tips on how to keep our wedding elegant without spending too much money, which was helpful on our budget. We couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. Mountain Thyme Events will definitely be there for our future events. We love Nikki and highly recommend her!

Honestly I am not sure we would have been able to pull off our wedding without Nikki from Mountain Thyme Events. She was an indispensable part of our day, and there was absolutely no way we could’ve done it without her. We found Nikki on Instagram and reached out in a panic when it became clear our original wedding wouldn’t be able to happen because of COVID. We were about 3 months out from the date, and Nikki was so calm and prepared that we were instantly at ease. In those 3 months, Nikki and I communicated more than my original planner and I had in over a year. We were constantly on the phone, emailing, and texting as things came up or she had other vendor suggestions for us. She helped us find catering, our musician, the ceremony site (and another one two days before the wedding when that one closed), and helped set up our lodging before the guests arrived. She was our rock, and truly went above and beyond to make our wedding an incredible experience. She went grocery shopping to make sure the house was stocked with food, set up floral arrangements throughout the house, served a seated dinner during the reception, and broke everything down so we truly didn’t worry about a thing. I know every bride says this about her planner, but I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely incredible it was to work with Nikki. We had so much go wrong with our wedding because of COVID and the fires in California, but the day ended up being even more perfect than we originally planned and it was entirely because of Nikki. She is the best of the best and I really cannot recommend her enough.
