Mountain Valley Ministries is based in San Andreas, CA, and is proud to provide wedding officiating services across the state. Rev. Jack Climer, Rev. Gail Climer, and Rev. Terry Melau have served weddings since 2013 and are highly experienced in all types of commitment ceremonies. This dedicated team will work closely with you to provide the perfect wedding day.
Mountain Valley Ministries’ founder, Rev. Jack, is a Vietnam veteran and has over 20 years of experience as a chaplain for a veterans' service organization. Together with Rev. Gail and Rev. Terry, he has provided unique and beautiful wedding ceremonies for over 200 couples. Mountain Valley Ministries proudly serve as volunteer chaplains for military veterans, first responders, and all those in need.
Mountain Valley Ministries will happily incorporate any elements you want into your ceremony, from handfasting to unity candles. The reverends are highly experienced in blending traditions into beautiful fusion ceremonies that celebrate your and your partner's beliefs. During your initial consultation, you can discuss all your ideas and ask any questions you may have. Mountain Valley Ministries will handle all of the legal requirements for you, leaving you to enjoy your celebrations with your loved ones.

in Shaver Lake in the snowy mountains and decided to get married on a rock in the middle of the snow. They were both happy and willing to climb up there with us to make our day everything that we wanted it to be! We couldn't be happier with the ceremony and all the help and advice they have given us. My husband is in the Navy, deployed overseas right now, and Reverend Jack is a Veteran himself, so the advice and blessings he gave us were extra special because he is part of our military family. to include a hand ceremony with homemade bands, (made by Gail in our wedding colors), and a 'Jump the Broom' ceremony at the end. You won't find a friendlier, more helpful and supportive officiant and couple than the Climers! Completely engaged from start to finish! You can't go wrong with Mountain Valley Ministries!
