We had a wonderful experience working with Lisa and Muriel of Movers and Shakers for our New Orleans wedding reception and cocktail hour. From the start, they were communicative, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with, helping us plan a bartending setup that fit our vision perfectly. They were timely and thorough in all of their responses, which made the planning process feel smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, everything was executed flawlessly. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the drinks—especially the mint juleps upon entry, which were such a fun and memorable touch. The espresso martini tower was also a huge hit and added a unique, celebratory element to the evening...especially when served at the same time as beignets. Movers and Shakers played a big role in making our reception feel special and well-organized. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and creative bartending team for their event.

Lisa, Muriel, and team go ABOVE AND BEYOND. Always quick to repond and have the best presentation. We used them for our second line bar right on the sidewalk outside of St. Mary's Church and we could not be happier that we did. Punctual and professional, PLUS they were willing to serve an out of state beer that was special to us as well as some snacks that we just had to drop off to them a few days before. These people are amazing. Give them your business.

ns. Throughout the planning process Muriel & Lisa were professional, competent, and accommodating; they provided such wonderful service at our wedding. At no point was there a line at the bar and our guests raved about how nice and service-oriented the staff happened to be. Movers & Shakers was one of the first vendors we decided on while planning, and, without a doubt, was the best decision we made. I highly recommend the company for any wedding or major event requiring bar service – you won’t be disappointed!

beautifully. No one ever waited for drinks -- no lines formed with Movers & Shakers. Led by Muriel, communication was easy and thorough. Along with an open bar, we had champagne handed out before the wedding and hurricanes during the second line parade. Everything was ready, waiting, and celebratory. Hiring them was a smart move and I'd do it again in a minute! They are GREAT!!!

I hired Movers and Shakers as bartenders for my wedding at the Pharmacy Museum. We provided the alcohol and M&S provided everything else. They were timely and professional - noo...

ne ever really waited at the bar and I was greeted with a smile whenever I stopped by. At the Pharmacy Museum, you only rent the space - absolutely nothing comes with your rental. We asked M&S to also provide one additional staff to help with bussing. They worked with us smoothly and our additional staff even helped set up our petit fours on cake stands! I ended up buying our alcohol separately simply because I live in New Orleans and am a control freak about that stuff. Their pricing including alcohol is very competitive and if you live out of town, I'd recommend using that option for your own sanity. tl;dr - use Movers and Shakers if you're looking for a complete solution and introduce some chill into your wedding planning!

rofessional to work with and took so much stress off me by "handling everything about the bar" and came to the venue, set up and got going. Over 300 people and nobody waiting longer than a few minutes for a drink, everyone raved about the taste of drinks and the charismatic personality of all the bartenders!
