Moxie to go was amazing! Very professional, very punctual on communication. They were so sweet and I felt so beautiful and glamorous on my wedding day. So many people asked who did my hair and makeup. Rachel was awesome and personal about the experience. I highly recommend their services!
The ladies at Moxie to Go were very excellent. They arrived on time and even finished before the projected timeframe. They were aware of the details for each person and provided last minute touchups and edits to each person as requested. They were able to work with a range of hairstyles and ages to get what was desired.
*Editing to 1 star after the owner's reply* The response is not truthful and blames the customer. The owner could have easily reached out to me privately to clarify and I could easily update the review, but the reply she wrote is not accurate and it's hurtful. She really mischaracterized the experience. That is all anyone really needs to know because I feel it is not worth it to go tit-for-tat after that reply. I am horrified that the hair stylist was terminated because she offered to do more when people were not satisfied; she was fired for doing the right thing. I did not even realize this until the owner wrote about it in her reply.
I did not reach out after the wedding because everything was so stressful and overwhelming I did not know how it could be fixed-especially with the poor prior communication and reactions to our concerns. Part of me regrets not reaching out, but after the owner's reply I'm 100% positive I cannot recommend this vendor.
We cannot recommend Moxie to Go to another bride or bridal party. First, the bridal hair and makeup trial was rushed. The hair trial went over an hour and the MUA was visibly upset that her time would go over also. I would have paid more for extra time, but there was no communication about what to expect. The salon refused to make/help make a schedule for the bridal party and bride for the day of the wedding; they also would not even provide any guidance for how to schedule or what to expect. The Wedding Coordinator was shocked and had never had that happen before. The makeup artist was a lovely person, but she was not a licensed cosmetologist (we did not think this was even legal??). Several bridesmaids had to re-do parts of their makeup. The hair stylist was tasked with 8 styles and there just wasn't enough time for the bride to have extra time even though the cost for bridal hair was much more than the bridesmaids-she worked so hard and it just seemed ridiculous that there was not another hair stylist to assist. Overall, it was lackluster communication and service from the owner and salon coordinator(s); the artists did the best they could within the parameters they were given and the owner should not blame them in any way.

Had an excellent experience with Moxie To Go for my wedding day. Rhianna's makeup for me and my bridesmaids was flawless. Caitlin also did such a wonderful job on my hair and all of my bridesmaid's hair. I did a makeup and hair trial and realized during my hair trial that the look I was going for did not quite work for me. Caitlin was awesome at making suggestions after hearing me out and helping me pivot to a hairstyle I was happy with. They were both excellent, professional, and efficient with time.
I had Macy do my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did a fantastic job! She was able to give me the look I had dreamed of for my wedding day and was so friendly and had great communication throughout the process. My hair and makeup lasted all night even through all the dancing and sweating! Highly recommend Moxie to Go!
Trinity at Moxie To Go was incredible! Not only was she sweet and humble, but she so genuinely wanted me to have the makeup look that I really wanted. At our trial session, she stuck with me for over a half hour just to get the right lipstick color. When I apologized for changing my mind/preferences, she insisted she was happy to do whatever it takes and stay as long as I needed her to. On the day of my wedding, she was calm and confident. Exactly what I needed. Thank you Moxie and thank you Trinity.
Moxie to Go provided makeup services for me and the entire bridal party. Nicci was the makeup artist assigned to our group and she was such a pleasure to work with, not to mention what an amazing job she did with each of our looks. I highly recommend using Moxie for makeup services!
Moxie to go provided hair and makeup for my bridal party of 6. The hair and makeup artists were timely, professional and friendly. They made our getting ready experience fun and relaxing. Everyone was very satisfied with their hair and makeup and felt beautiful for the big day! The company was easy and convenient to work with and I really liked having the hair and makeup artist at the same company. We are so appreciative of MTG and their team!
Going with Moxie was the best decision. Rachel was able to keep my natural curl, while styling it in a way that accentuated them. She was very profesional, easy to communicate with, and social with me and my bridesmaids. My hair looked so good and lasted from noon to 10pm when I took it out.
I had a great experience with Moxie to Go. I knew I didn't want to do my own hair and makeup for my wedding but I was looking for an option that wasn't going to completely break the bank either, especially because it was just me, no bridal party. I also did a trial with them beforehand, which helped us figure out tweaks before the day of. Everything turned out great and I received so many compliments on my hair. The makeup still made me feel like myself but with that extra oomph I was looking for. It photographed great, too! Everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend the Moxie to Go team!
Moxie to Go was fantastic! I hired them based on my wedding venue’s recommendation and they did not disappoint! I had no idea how I wanted my makeup done for the big day but they knew exactly how to make me look my best. The ladies were prompt & professional. I was amazed at the speed in which they did all of our hair! I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I highly recommend Moxie To Go! Rachel was very friendly and professional. She and Ashley did our make up and did a fantastic job. I absolutely loved how my make up turned out, it had a very natural look just like I requested. I also recommend having a trial with your make up artist before your wedding day.

I hired Moxie To Go to do both my engagement photo hair and make up and my make up and hair for our wedding and I would absolutely recommend them! My hair and makeup for my engagement photos was perfect! Rachel came to the hotel we were staying at to glam me up and we were finished in the perfect amount of time to get us to the photo shoot! For our wedding, Ashley did our makeup and Miriah (sp?) did our hair. They had all 6 of us done in 3 hours and we all looked so good! Everyone showed Miriah photos of the hair they wanted and she nailed every single one of them. Ashley did a fantastic job on all of our makeup as well - I showed her a picture of the bridal makeup I wanted (we never did a trial) and she perfected it! I was nervous because my now husband isnt used to me being in full makeup and it freaks him out, when he saw me, he loved my makeup and though it was perfect! I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone needing fabulous hair and makeup!

Both hair stylists were so attentive as to what it is that each person wanted and went the extra mile to make sure that everyone was 100% satisfied. The makeup artist made everyone look flawless and was so friendly and kind. They also got everyone’s hair and makeup done in a timely manner! The girls were so funny and sweet and made our getting ready time even more fun by them being there! Hire them! You won’t regret it!
Rachel did my makeup for my wedding ceremony and reception. She did two completely different looks that were equally amazing. She was super flexible and knew exactly what I wanted. She is also super fast and cool. Would 100% recommend.
Moxie To Go did makeup for myself and a few of my bridesmaids in my recent wedding and I LOVED the way it turned out (and I usually hate having my makeup done and how fake it looks, but this was SO natural even with false lashes). Ashley and Rachel are both wonderful, work quickly and the results are amazing! Not to mention Moxie absolutely saved the day by doing a few bridesmaid hair styles when two other stylists backed out last minute! Would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
Moxie made our wedding day so fun and special! Caitlin gave me a beautiful updo that looked great in photos and stayed in place all night. That’s saying something, because we had an outdoor wedding on a hot, humid evening with lots of sweaty dancing! I have very thin hair, but she made it look full and gorgeous. Austin and Raul gave old-fashioned barber shaves to my husband and his groomsmen. All of them loved the unique experience, and the guys really enjoyed getting pampered while the girls were getting ready. It set the tone for our wedding perfectly, and everyone from Moxie was a joy to work with. We highly recommend them!
Rachel did my hair and makeup and also did my Maid of honor's hair for my wedding. She's amazing and I don't think anyone could have gotten it just as perfect as she did!
Rachel is FANTASTIC! I loved having Rachel do my hair and makeup for my wedding in May 2019. She is professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about making sure that her brides feel beautiful!! I would highly recommend her services to anyone and everyone!

I was satisfied with the way my hair looked on my wedding day but it was completely different than what she did during my trial. The day of my wedding she showed up as if we were meeting for the first time, even asked me to pull up my pinterest board so she would know what to do. This is very disappointing considering how expensive it was to do a trial. Save your money and don't bother booking a trial, your hair will still turn out OK and last the whole night.
I was pretty pleased with how my makeup turned out on my wedding day. She took some critiques from the trial and the makeup held up pretty well for 12+ hours. I would recommend her services.
Rachel and her team are wonderful! They not only made my hair look incredible on my wedding day, but also my bridesmaids and mom and mother-in-law. From booking, to my hair trial, to the wedding day, everything was easy and fun. I couldn't ask for a better team! Thank you!!!

I was pretty specific in what I was looking for, I ended up meeting with Moxie for 2 different trials. It was well worth the extra steps! I have very curly hair that usually looks pretty kinky (also frizzy). Rachel took the time to individually recurl each one before setting it in an updo. It was beautiful! I am so grateful that we chose them & had such a great team. Each of my bridesmaids chose their own hairstyle and each one turned out beautifully. Definitely a perfect fit for us!! I had just about given up on getting my makeup done professionally for my wedding when I found Moxie to go. I decided to try one more place and I am so grateful I did. I walked out of my bridal makeup trial giddy because Rachel is a goddess. She is not afraid to step out of the box, or stick to the traditional look. She really made this whole experience perfect and I can not wait till my wedding day because I know my wedding parties makeup will be flawless. I can not recommend her enough!!!!
