ty. Having worked with a florist in Manhattan originally, I felt so overwhelmed driving in and out of the city for my meetings. So my fiancé, now husband, suggested using Jerry at Mr. Bokay. A former colleague of his was more than happy with her flowers at her wedding. So in I went, one afternoon with with my mother and I knew immediately that I was in the best of hands. Here’s what you should know: Jerry is an excellent listener and a consummate professional who knows his craft. His understated store front belies the magic behind the scenes. The ceremony: I sat at the altar with my fiancé staring at these beautifully romantic arrangements Jerry create for us. Yes, I do remember my vows, but I will vividly remember the soft colors of those altar arrangements. My bouquet, my table arrangements, all gorgeous. If you’re local to the area, please go meet and sit with Jerry. He will not disappoint!

over an hour and walked us through all different types of flowers, what would be available when we were getting married, and gave us ideas for things that would work well. He had previously done my sister's wedding, and the flower arrangements he did were absolutely gorgeous! We knew that we could completely trust him given how beautiful his previous work was, and he proved it to be true! With all of the craziness of the pandemic, it was a great feeling to know that we could completely trust him if something wasn't available due to the strain in the supply chain, and we knew that no matter what the flowers would be beautiful, and they'd be there! Our flowers were absolutely stunning, he made my very ambiguous vision come true, and I would strongly recommend him!

He paid attention to my details that I wanted to make these flowers so special. Everything was organized and punctual to the point I did not feel worried about my flowers. o went over my budget (one of them nearly tripled what number I had in mind) for greenery and white flowers. The minute I started corresponding with Jerry, we felt at ease. Jerry assured us he could execute our vision within our budget, so my husband and I made the trip up to Port Chester from the city. He brought out samples and pictures of flowers he could use, and he was wonderful about running with our vision. Communication and payment leading up to the wedding was so easy, and he was always available by phone. Traveling was tricky for us, so we only saw Jerry in July before our May wedding. We trusted him completely, and he delivered! I couldn’t have dreamed that I would love our flowers as much as we did. My bouquet was unreal, and it was heavy with the most gorgeous arrangement of white flowers. Our bridal party and parents’ flowers were also gorgeous, and I could not get over how classy and elegant our centerpieces were. On my way to our first look, I saw Jerry himself setting up our arch. It was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Even though this wasn’t a vendor I thought we needed in the first place, Mr. Bokay ended up being one of my favorites. You will not be disappointed if you book Mr. Bokay and book with Jerry!

my wedding was not something I was looking forward to. I had just recently been a part of a wedding a few months before, so I saw the wonderful work Jerry had done and I knew that I was going to go with him for my wedding. I had to visit another florist first because it was required by my venue and it was nothing like my visits with Jerry. Jerry made me feel comfortable and didn’t seemed bothered when I couldn’t make up my mind on what flowers I wanted. It didn’t feel like a business transaction, instead it just felt like a friend helping out a friend. I only had colors in mind, and despite not giving Jerry much to work with, he delivered amazing arrangements! When the bouquets arrived the day of the wedding, I was in awe. They looked amazing. The wonder continued once I got to the church and saw the floral arrangements. It didn’t end there. Once we got to our venue, my now husband and I walked into the reception room and WOW was all I could say. The table arrangements were so beautiful. There is no way I could have designed that bouquet. And the flowers on the cake were incredible. I originally did not want flowers on my cake, but I’m happy I did because it made the cake stand out so much more. I’m glad I left it all in Jerry’s hands. I went in without knowing exactly what I wanted, but Jerry quickly and efficiently manifested that on paper like magic! Jerry showed us many examples of the actual flowers and must have walked to the back of his store ten times to bring us the flowers he had in mind so we can get a better idea. Jerry is an absolute gem to work with. On the day of the wedding, the flowers arrived in my hotel bridal suite perfectly on time and also to the groom’s residence with no issue at all. I opened the package and I was STUNNED. The bridesmaid bouquet was so full that I thought it was mine, but when I opened the rest of the package, the bride’s cascading bouquet was divine – beautifully full, vibrant, and fresh I couldn’t be happier!! The church altar and pew flowers, and reception welcome table and dinner table flowers were ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and lit up the room. Many of my guests came up to me specifically to compliment the floral arrangements and all table flowers were taken home by our guests. Weeks after the wedding, my family and guests still talk about the flowers (I'm not joking). We were on a tight budget, but Jerry made it work and even added faux silk petals for reception and cake decorations! I will be recommending this florist to all my friends in the area. I had sent various pictures and ideas that I had and Jerry (and his team) had them all on file and ready to discuss each time we met. The flowers at the church & reception were so incredibly lush, fresh and perfectly put together (true story - after I got back from my honeymoon over two weeks later the flowers my mom had kept from the reception were out on display and still gorgeous!) and the candle centerpieces we discussed came out exactly as I wanted - it was truly magical. I wanted some personal touches & asked if we could incorporate lace from my mothers dress as the wrapping of my bouqet and a charm for my late father and he went above and beyond to make it absolutely perfect for me - I was and still am thrilled. He also incorporated mason jars that my grandmother used as vases for flowers around the reception site at the bar and on the gift tables, etc. and it was another gorgeous personal aspect. I was recommended by my best friend (who then recommended another friend of ours and he knocked it out of the park for her wedding too!), who was recommended by a friend of hers, and I will definitely be continuing to recommend to everyone I know. With so many vendors to work with & talk to so often for so long, we wanted to make sure we worked with people who not only do incredible work but also people who we respected and were easy to work with - and that is definitely what we got with Jerry & his team. They knocked it out of the park - can't recommend them enough!!

ved to Colorado and my wedding was back east in the West Chester area, I was very worried about not being able to be there in person to share my flower ideas as well as meet with my florist. I spoke to several places beforehand and sent pictures and ideas though email but Jerry/Mr. Bokay was the only one who really saw my vision and made me feel comfortable with the flower decisions he listened to intently and clearly saw my vision he made me so comfortable with his abilities. Not to mention his price was way better than a lot of the other places that quoted me. Jerry kept me updated throughout the process, he let me know when he was ordering the flowers and he was also honest with me about what he could and couldn't get based on the time of year. (I really wanted peonies but they are out of season so he suggested another very smilier flower and let me make my own choices). We spoke on the phone where he explained everything to me and talked in great detail about the flowers and the process, he even broke down the color percentages in my bouquets such as 50% burgundy, 30% white 20% blush etc. I was unable to see my flowers before my wedding day just due to my schedule but when they arrived they were absolutely PERFECT. They were gorgeous, everything I could have wanted and more. Jerry truly listened and saw my vision and made it a reality. He was also right on time as to when my photographer was going to be there. His delivery guys were polite and timely and set everything perfect for me. It was all around a wonderful experience and I would recommend his services to everyone. My expectations were exceeded and more, I an beyond happy I chose this florist.

As someone who loves flowers, this was the one item in the wedding I did not want to compromise on and we went to about 5 florists until I met Jerry. All of them have great reviews online, but when I met Jerry I knew my search was over. Jerry is earnest, he knows his business well and has been doing this a long time, and what I love most is his passion to create the most beautiful bouquets and floral decorations for his clients. It is clear this is beyond business for him - not only did he matched the best price for us but also promised to arrange the most beautiful flowers he could get. He creatively suggested less expensive flowers to mix with peonies that would still look beautiful. I did not get to see a floral sample before the wedding because I did not want to make extra trips. But I trusted Jerry because of how meticulously he's planned with us along the way. I was getting my hair and makeup done when Jerry delivered the flowers on my wedding day. I did not even get to properly say hi to him, he just sneaked in, delivered the bouquets and went back down to decorate our cake and the ceremony/reception florals. When I finally got to see the flowers, I was just stunned. They were absolutely divine, so much so I asked my parents to save us a centerpiece after we left for our honeymoon from the venue. Even my husband (who does not care for flowers) commented that the flowers turned out the best! We are so glad we picked Mr. Bokay as our florist!

I got married in January and was looking to use flowers, but still wanted to experience a winter wonderland type feel, and that is what I got. Some of the things I wanted were a bit more challenging to produce, but Jerry did not shy away or suggest we try something different, rather he suggested different ways we could make it even better! I am very happy with how everything turned out and I will continue to use him for any other parties or events I have in the future!
