Mr Flowers

Being a flower enthusiast I really wanted to find a local florist that was willing to work with me so that I could design my own bouquet and Mr Flowers were awesome! I gave them my specifics and they set realistic expectations as to what was in season and what options I might have. We worked together and I felt like my ideas were laid out perfectly when I arrived on the island and picked up my bouquet the day prior. It was everything I had wanted; all the colors I had requested, all the species of flowers I had hoped for and the right shape. I basically got as close to making it myself as possible. I couldnt of had anything closer to what I wanted. If you are considering a florist, they are the one!

My husband and I were recently married on the north shore of Kauai and I was in search of a good local florist. I came across Mr. Flowers and decided to select them based on their positive reviews. I was not disappointed!! Wendy was super responsive to my emails and a pleasure to work with. I sent Wendy a picture of the bouquet that I had in mind and she executed it perfectly!! It was absolutely gorgeous and fresh. She also prepared a boutonnière for my husband that matched very well and which he was pleased with. The prices were reasonable given the quality of their work and the flowers were delivered on time to our hotel so it was a very efficient and convenient process. I would 100% recommend Mr. Flowers!

I absolutely love Wendy and the Mr. Flowers team. Having grown up on Kauai I had a family friend at another flower shop that was suppose to "hook me up". Needless to say, that did not happen AT ALL. After wasting months feeling like a second-hand client I was super behind on getting an order in, and a friend of mine getting married around the same time recommended Mr. Flowers. Not only did they get back to me right away, but they knew EXACTLY what type of flower I wanted (a feat that took the other guy a month to figure out). They quoted me less than half of what my "friend" was going to charge... (BUT the flower budget was still astronomically higher than what I ever imagined flowers could possibly cost) but they were worth every penny, and friends of mine paid about the same if not more. Wendy was so patient with me and my meager budget. We must have gone back and forth 25 times until we found something I liked and that was in my price range. Every pinterest idea I threw her way was brought to life, the arrangements could not have been more perfect and my bouquet was absolutely amazing (search: glamelia...oh yeah!) I did not want to have a tropical wedding so my flowers were on the more expensive side...and I can't say for sure whether it was a steal or not because I am not a regular floral consumer. When we dropped off our vases to them, they gave my Mom and I a free rose! They also gave me a floral crescent for my sweetheart table as a present on my wedding day, (after I was forced to cut it from my budget)..need I say more? There are no bigger sweethearts in this business on Kauai. They do the job quickly, efficiently, and amazingly. This is one vendor I did NOT have to worry about at ANY point in my wedding planning experience. (Tips I would pass on to the next guy: I did my own shepherds hooks and just bought a bouquet of roses from the grocery store for the jars that hung on them. My ceremony (using those hooks) was less than an hour and it didn't make sense for me to pay a florist to fill the jars when people would see them for such a short amount of time...I am so glad I went that route. Tip 2: pictures pictures pictures!! The more pictures I supplied I feel the more they understood my style and there were no surprises day of. Leis: I bought 2 maile leis from them that were stunning, unfortunately due to the rain/sweat of dancing the guys took their leis off at certain points in the night and eventually they were left at the site...leis are wonderful and very meaningful to some cultures- you should question "If this lei were to end up accidentally left over here very early on in all the chaos (and there WILL be chaos) would it still be worth buying it?" My answer would have been...probably not, any lei would have worked for an hour or two and would have saved me a little bit. Overall you CANNOT go wrong with this vendor. I would be shocked if anyone ever had a bad experience with them, they work for you as if they are ohana.

I couldn't have been happier. Not only were the flowers just stunning and delivered on time but they coudn't have been more flexible with a bride and mother-of-the-bride who couldn't make or stick with a decision. And everyone kept saying they'd never seen a more beautiful bouquet!
