Mr Music Man

Josh was recommended to us by a friend who used his services for their wedding. He did a wonderful job! He was flexible and easy to work with and listened to our every request. He did a fabulous job of involving the guests and getting everyone on the dance floor. Our guests had only great things to say about the music and the dancing. I would highly recommend using Josh (Mr. Music Man) as your wedding DJ!

I had gone to a bridal expo in Hartford and met Mr.MusicMan. He hooked us by telling us about his Flemish rabbit! At the time, my fiance and I were looking for both a DJ and a JP. Holy cow... Mr.MusicMan is both!!! We set up a meeting with him and knew he was our guy- we did not even meet with anyone else. Josh is the complete package. And had the best package for us! Not only was he our DJ and JP, he also had a photobooth! let me start off by talking about him as our JP. When we had our final meeting, he made me tear up because of what he was going to read at our ceremony. His words were so beautiful. He was so personable that my husband and I felt very comfortable with him. During the ceremony he kept everything moving along (exactly what we wanted) but if we wanted to add in more, he would have been wicked accommodating. He was so professional! Now, onto him as a DJ! He was FANTASTIC at that as well!! He got everyone dancing and out of their seats. He played a special song for my Babci (grandma) which was New York New York. SO many of the guests were in a circle doing the kickline with my babci. a handful of us in tears because my babci was very close to passing away in January but she pulled through, kept her promise, and danced with me at my wedding. Very emotional and so special. He would come out from behind his booth and would put the mic up to a group of people so they could sing into the mic! closer to the end of the night he got all the guests together and we all sang our hearts out. He would turn the music low and we would all be singing the words together. I loved those special touches. OH! at one point someone lost their phone so he said "everyone look at your phones. if you're not looking at yours chances are it is because I have it." oh my gosh it was hysterical!! he even checked the speeches our people were making and tweaked them to make them better. I had a nightmare that my twins speech was going to be a mariacha band... so my twin added that in her speech and then Josh played some mariacha music while his assistant came out dancing in a sombraro!! it was the perfect touch. and then we had a photobooth!! it was amazing. you could fit so many people in there!! the guests kept one strip of the pictures while the other strip went into a book and everyone wrote notes to us!! it was beautiful and so much fun to look at. Josh was the perfect DJ and JP. we cannot thank him for making our wedding day perfect and a dream come true. Josh starts off as your DJ and JP but quickly turns into family!! Thank you so so so much Josh and to your assistant!! you both were wonderful!!

The DJ was good

Josh was our DJ at our wedding on 10/09/2016. We had such a good time because of Josh! My friends and family all commented on the music selection and how much fun everyone had and Josh was the biggest reason why everyone enjoyed themselves. The photo montage was one of many people's favorite parts and meant the world to so many of our friends and family who laughed and cried through the whole thing. Josh was always professional and extremely fun to work with. He helped us through every step and was always willing to return numerous phone calls and answer any question we might have had. I cannot say enough about how much Mike and I appreciated Josh's attention to detail and ability to read the crowd and get them moving. Thank you so much for making our wedding the BEST DAY EVER!

Josh was such an amazing DJ! he kept the dance floor packed the entire night and everyone loved the photo booth! The montage he put together was absolutly amazing! He really listened to what music we liked and picked the perfect songs for the dinner hour. Really enjoyed having him as our DJ and would definite recommend him!

Josh is great!! He did my sisters wedding and my best friends wedding. I wouldn't have gone to anyone else. I've been to a lot of weddings where Djs just flop the wedding. Josh keeps everyone on the dance floor ALL night. Our wedding day was perfect! He also put together a slideshow for us and we were so impressed at how it came out. He is easy going and calmed me down when our best man had to leave. He always asked me how I was and if I needed anything. He takes a lot of pride in taking care of his brides and making sure they're happy. Everyone said our wedding was one of the best they've ever been to and we owe a lot of that to Josh. We also recorded our vows and he lightly put it over our first dance. He chose piano man as one of our last songs and had everyone circle us and my husband & I will remember that forever. It was very special to see all of our friends and family arms around one another smiling surrounding us. He is amazing and very reasonably price for the quality you get. If you're on the fence, I'm telling you, he is the best decision you can make for your wedding. Thank you Josh a million times over!

I don't even know where to begin with this one. Josh impressed me from day one and made our wedding day the most amazing day of my life. He did our music and lighting and everything was absolutely perfect. He also put together a slideshow for us and we were absolutely thrilled at how it came out. He is so personable, so easy to work with and really listens to what you are looking for and your personality in general. He worked with our wedding coordinator at our venue to come up with the best sequence of events, we didn't have to stress at all with him, he took care of everything!! We have received more compliments than I can count on his performance at the wedding and how much fun he was and how he kept everything going. There was never a lull at the reception, and not one person at the wedding didn't get up and dance, no lie! He also did our lighting and it looked absolutely beautiful. The slideshow that he put together brought tears to our eyes and had us laughing all at the same time. Our family and friends loved it. One thing that also sets him apart is our first dance. We recorded our vows with him a few weeks before the wedding. He set them in with our first dance so they played strategically within the song, so romantic. He gave us a copy and I have it playing nonstop in my car. I really cannot say enough about him, he is absolutely wonderful and if you are looking for someone to produce an awesome time he's your man!!! They say at your wedding you need good food and great music and he definitely has the music covered for you!!!!
