M.Rinaye Photography

We booked Maike for our wedding in October 2014, and we could not have picked a better photographer! Included in all of her photo packages is an engagement photo session and the rights to all engagement and wedding photos. I loved how all our pictures turned out, and was extremely pleased with how well she kept in touch with us, how personable she was, and how promptly we received our photos. I also booked Maike for boudoir photos, and she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful during the session. I would HIGHLY recommend her for any photography in the South Bend, IN area.

We cannot say enough glowing things about this vendor! My husband and I used M.Rinaye Photography for our wedding at the Notre Dame Basilica in June 2014. Ironically, I discovered her from a wedding website review and didn't have any personal recommendations. Maike was fantastic throughout our entire process. We were able to coordinate everything with Maike from out of state. We did our engagement pictures with her, and boy, we felt like movie stars when we saw the results. She did a great job with our wedding photos, and she was so easy to be with the day of the wedding. She was on time, in charge, prepared with backup shots (it rained a little), and flexible throughout. She's a very nice person, professional, and was able to understand my classic, yet "not boring" vision. Some of the locations and shots she suggested and took, I questioned a little at the time. However, when I saw the photos, I was so thrilled that I put our wedding in her hands because those were the best shots! She's very talented. We were very happy with the value of her services and felt that her pricing was 100% worth it in the end. She was one of the more economical photographers that we researched and felt like we got our money's worth. We've already joked about going back up to South Bend whenever we need any other professional photos because she's just that good and so easy to be around. I can't rave about her enough.

Maike is a wonderful photographer and any bride would be happy with her. She meets with you before the wedding to discuss what kinds of pictures and settings you'd like for your wedding. She included an engagement photo session in the package we got. Also we got a cd of all our pictures from the engagement session as well as the wedding. We could use the cd to print our own pictures or you can also order professional pictures through Maike. Her assistant was awesome too. You can hire an extra photographer for an extra fee to capture those angles the first photographer can't catch. I highly recommend M.Rinaye photography!

My husband and I hired Maike for our engagement session and January wedding. We have been so pleased with the work that she has done. Maike was so personable from our first meeting, and made us feel so comfortable with her. We really trusted the work and that she would follow through. My husband and I have very different photographic tastes, and found Maike had elements that each of us liked. We were able to share specific thoughs and image sytles, and she did such a fabulous job with blending both of our tastes. When we requested a little more of this, or less of that, she was so open to suggestions and getting us just exactly what we wanted. We are so pleased with the images that we have for a lifetime to remember our special day. Maike also did a great job working with our whole bridal party and videographer to make sure everything and everyone were where they needed to be. We also challenged her with coming up with some unique photo shoot locations for a January event, and could not be more pleased with where we went and how they all turned out!

From our initial meeting, Maike of M.Rinaye photography was very helpful in helping me picture what I wanted for my wedding day. In addition to looking through her portfolio and discussion package prices, she asked me many questions about the day and together we created a timeline that was the base for all my other planning. Before the wedding she also asked for a list of all family and special photos that we would want. At our engagement session, Maike was great at helping us feel comfortable- we had a lot of fun! And the pictures show it. On our wedding day Maike and her second shooter Ashley added a fun and stress free but organized vibe, at times it was just like having 2 extra bridesmaids, they fit in with the girls! They arranged a sweet "first look" moment for us and then took us cool places for bride and groom photos. Our wedding party shots were a blast, and our attendants (who have been in many weddings by now) commented on how fun and smooth it went. Family photos were also a breeze. Although I have only seen the blog photos at this point, we have great candid shots of all parts of the day, and I have a feeling that we will have tough decisions to make when it is time to order. :)

We had Maike and Ashley as our photographers for our July wedding last summer. We were SO pleased with how wonderful they did capturing our day. They were both so personable, creative, professional, sweet, and fun to be around! We truly felt so blessed to have them take both our engagement and wedding pictures. The quality and creativity of the pictures were awesome. We have no regrets and would highly recommend M.Rinaye to all! Thanks, Maike and Ashley for your hard work!

I absolutely LOVED working with Maike and her assistant, Ashley. They were such a part of the day that I didn't even notice them (of course the whole day is a blur to the bride!). Both ladies made me feel extremely comfortable and for this bride, who doesn't enjoy having her picture taken, to be at ease and not worry about how I looked. They not only captured moments of the wedding, they captured the feeling of the day.

We used M. RInaye for both our engagement and wedding photos and have been absolutely thrilled with not only our photographs but with our experience with Maike and her crew! M. Rinaye has the most lovely disposition and moved seamlessly throughout our day listening to our suggestions and requests for certain pictures while implementing her unique artistic ability to capture beautiful photographs. She and Ashley not only captured every moment of our day but also helped to ensure that it moved along smoothly. M. Rinaye seized every sweet moment of our wedding day and was able to unfold every emotion and morsel of our personalities through her photographs. She and her photographs did exactly what we wanted them to: they told the story of us. Getting to work with M. Rinaye was such a gift. We are so grateful to have walked away from such a big day with beautiful memories that we can hold in our hands.

Having Maike as our photographer made things so much fun! My friends always "Ooo" and "Aah" over our wedding album--both because of the pictures as well as the quality of the album. I do wish we would have had some more closeups of the two of us, but I'm sure she would have had I told her. She was great to work with. I love our pictures, especially the outdoor pics that utilized the beauty of the surroundings really well. And the fact that she was willing to be outside photographing in 100 degrees with high humidity for several hours with a fun smile on her face the whole time is IMPRESSIVE! I recommend her.

I used M. Rinaye photography for my wedding and loved the way she was able to create some great memorable moments of my family, bridal party and guests. I was really amazed at the quality of her work as far as the way she was able to both do perfect classic and candid shots. I would recommend her to any of my friends to shoot their wedding or even just for a regular family of or individual shoot. I guess the bottom line is that she did a great job, delivered a great product to us and helped to make our special day go extra smooth.
