DJ Michael Kennedy did an amazing job keeping the dance floor packed all night and truly knew how to read the crowd. The energy was incredible, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing! During the ceremony, everyone could hear our officiant and vows over the sound of the waves and other background noise, which I know has been a problem at other weddings we’ve attended, but not for us! He also coordinated with our live musician to get all the timing right for the processional and recessional, so everything flowed seamlessly. Everything was executed perfectly and on time, keeping the night going and the energy high the whole time.
What made the experience even more special was all of the video footage he captured throughout the day. He sent us a ton of amazing videos from both the ceremony and reception, and we were so surprised and grateful to have those moments captured from such a fun, candid perspective. It was such a thoughtful bonus and gave us memories we’ll be able to look back on for years to come.
We were also obsessed with his lighting. Once the dancing started, his moving head lights took over and timed perfectly with the bass of the music. His equipment also blended in well with the decor. It made the whole experience feel like an intentional, well coordinated dance floor, and took everything up a level.
He was professional, easy to work with, and genuinely helped make our wedding so much fun. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond!

He went above and beyond and used an app where we could curate our timeline, song choices, and personalized touches. He even took behind the scenes photos and so many videos and audio files of virtually our entire reception. He captured all of the important moments for us, included in his price, such as the first dance, speeches, and bouquet toss. His lighting was gorgeous during dinner and energetic during dancing. In addition, our videographer had unfortunately lost video footage due to technical malfunctions - Michael was able to share what he had captured during the night to help him compile an array of videos and pictures to create a new type of slideshow for us. On top of all of this, he had some special surprises for us on the night of - he had projected our names onto a lighthouse of the reception property AND had a t-shirt toss at the end of the night that was so much fun!! He is very willing to help assist with any ideas you might have and is extremely flexible. Overall we highly recommend Michael for any of your DJ needs. You won’t be disappointed!

the weekend and then did an intimate wedding ceremony with family the following Monday. Through it all, Michael was professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our days special. We had several conversations with Michael about the logistics leading up to it and he answered every question and even provided recommendations about things we should consider for the events. In addition to music, he also provided us with audio recordings of our ceremony and speeches, and even video footage which is something we’ll treasure forever. During the events themselves, Michael was so responsive to the energy of our guests and tailored the music accordingly which was so amazing — playing songs that were referenced during speeches made by our friends and dialing up the energy when people wanted to start dancing (which wasn’t planned). To top the cake, Michael’s DJ set up is stunning and so many of our family and friends commented how seamless it looked for our wedding reception. It blended in perfectly. Thank you so so much for making our wedding weekend so perfect; if you have the opportunity to book Michael I can’t recommend him enough!

s the comprehensive nature of his offerings, all for one package price. This included everything from a drone (though we couldn’t use it due to rain… bummer), GoPro video from the day from various angles, fun lighting for the reception, and projection and recording of our vows, among other things. We loved that he offered some complimentary video services especially since we did not have a videographer.
From our initial meeting, Michael made us feel comfortable and made the planning process super easy. The app that he uses to capture all of the information and song selections was easy and intuitive to use, allowing us to add details and songs throughout the the planning process.
Michael was super flexible with the ceremony arrangements, accommodating our decision to hold the ceremony outside even though it was drizzling. He kept everyone MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ on the dance floor, and many guests commented that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He even let me (the bride) mix a song as the DJ, and even though I had no idea what I was doing, it made for some fun and memorable photos.
We opted to rent his photo booth (which was an additional fee outside of his package… but SO worth it!), and it was a huge hit with our guests. The props he brought were unique and fun, and there was a line at the photo booth for most of the evening because everyone wanted in on the action.
Michael really knocked it out of the park for us, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. We highly recommend him for DJ services!

ike. I even shared his timeline with our coordinator and photographer and they used it as well. From start to finish his expertise was incredible and 100% made our day perfect.
At the ceremony he attached his own microphones to both my officiant as well as my husband. There was not one guests that couldn't hear the ceremony.
For our reception, he exceeded my expectations. Not only did his playlists and DJ skills come to full fruition- he set up a photo booth both at cocktail hour and the reception room that I saw guests using all night. Additionally, when he says he is good with lighting- he is not kidding. He utilized uplighting, dance floor lighting and everything in between that photographed beautifully and totally enhanced our party. He even independently created a dance floor monogram with our names on it which was beautiful.
I recommend Mike for any function without hesitation. Get him before he's gone.

He was personable, experienced, and truly focuses on your event first and foremost rather than having multiple events back to back. He provided a true DJ service, uplighting, photo-booth, and wedding games all for one price! We had multiple meetings with Michael where we were able to design the exact experience we wanted. We had requested Arabic, English and Spanish music and Michael was able to get everything in time for the wedding. I was especially impressed when he was talking about going as far as purchasing physical copies of the music in order to have the proper quality available. Everything was perfect on the wedding day and we could not have asked for a better experience. Do yourself a favor and go with DJ Michael with MRK entertainment for your wedding. You will not regret it!

He met with us several times prior to the wedding to go over song selections, ceremony details, and any questions that we had. Since I wasn't sure what I really wanted, he was very helpful in figuring out what would be best for us. He was very punctual and was always very responsive to any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Michael to DJ at your wedding! We had a blast!!!

ou hire Michael with M.R.K. Entertainment and then breathe a huge sigh of relief.
From the get-go Michael was top notch at communication and answered all of our questions about exactly what we would be getting with his services. He offeres some outstanding packages that included his DJ services, the mirror photo booth (this thing RULES!), a video welcome recording kiosk for guests to leave us a short video during our wedding, and last but certainly not least some truly wonderful lighting that really transformed our venue into a stellar place to have a wedding.
Michael and his assistant Adrian we're an incredible team during our wedding and our guests had a blast dancing the night away as they spun hit after hit. M. R. K. has a very easy to use website where you can add in requested songs to be played during your night, as well as all of the music and cues needed for a ceremony. During the event he was nothing short of professional and did a fantastic job with MCing and keeping the party going!
I cannot stress to you enough how great an experience we had with Michael and M.R.K. Entertainment at our wedding and we would 100% suggest you hire him for yours.

re never stressful and always ended in us feeling confident in him and excited about the big day. On the day of the wedding he was behind the scenes coordinating with our somewhat scatterbrained wedding coordinator and I can not thank him enough for that! I would have given him 5/5 stars, but there were some promises that he didn't keep. He had said he would send us a recording of our vows and photos from a photo booth. However, we did not pay for the photo booth and it was an "extra" he was just trying out so I can't fault him too much. It was just a bit disappointing for us after he offered them not to receive them - We are still getting guests asking us for the photo booth pictures to this day! Overall I would 100% recommend him to anyone who likes to dance and wants a high energy fun reception!

e and met with us on a Sunday to talk through the day and show us how to use his very handy online platform, came with us to visit the venue (which was an old sailing club on Peaks Island) -- again on his own time -- to make sure he knew where all the outlets were and had the right equipment to accommodate our needs. Also, we had one of the only wedding ceremonies I've been to where everyone was mic-ed properly and you could actually hear the officiant and vows! This at an outdoor venue next to the ocean - not an easy feat. Our guests were dancing all night long, he had a great lighting display, and his #1 goal was to make us happy - mission accomplished! They were very professional and went above and beyond examining our venue and ensured that an echo-y room (which we were quite nervous about!) had crystal clear music by the end of it. Michael especially went out of his way meeting with us in advance and making sure we got exactly the music we wanted. He was also vital in making sure that our reception --planned very quickly, and out of state, with many last minute surprises-- went smoothly. Our minds were going a mile a minute that day, but when we saw our video recently, with the guests dancing, and everyone having a great time--we knew we made the right the choice with Michael :) :)
