Mrs. KEO Art is a live event artist based in Gadsden, AL. Owner Katie Ortiz has always been passionate about art. Her parents supported and encouraged her dreams, and in time, Katie became a professional artist. Katie painted many portraits of her family and friends, and she very quickly realized that her work enabled the people in her life to remember and relive their most precious moments. It also helped Katie to feel more in touch with herself and fulfilled. Seeing the tears of delight in loved ones’ faces when they saw their finished paintings made Katie’s heart feel full, and she determined to share her talents with the world so that other families could have beautiful, lasting works of art to keep and treasure. Mrs. KEO Art accepts commissions and also offers a live painting service, perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions. She will show up one or two hours early to your wedding with all of the materials and supplies she needs, and will paint the scene (first dance, first kiss, vows, etc.) that you have agreed on for all of your guests to be able to watch.
