Mrs. Planner Weddings

Brie is the best! I am getting married at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Colorado and I found Brie through Instagram because she had recently done a photo shoot/vendor meet up at my venue. I immediately clicked with her when she met us at the venue for the first time. We chose a custom package and Brie has been communicative, positive, fun, energetic, flexible, and so down to earth with all of the planning. Our wedding is in 6 months and I can't wait for Brie to absolutely crush it.

Hiring Ashlee as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. A few months after getting engaged, I was starting to feel very overwhelmed with wedding planning and knew I needed to get help. As soon as we got in touch with Ashlee, I knew we would be taken care of. Even though Ashlee was our month-of coordinator, she was always readily available anytime I needed advice or vendor recommendations. We were also given access to a shared google drive that helped us organize all our wedding details in one place and was a huge help throughout the year. The month before the wedding, it was extremely easy to fill Ashlee in on all our wedding details—we felt like we could finally sit back and relax after a hectic year of planning. Of course what mattered most was how the wedding day went……and Ashlee and Grace knocked it out of the park! The day went seamlessly and we felt so taken care of. We even found out as we were about to do our grand exit that Ashlee had dropped our bags off at our hotel room for the night (instead of just loading the bags in the getaway car). That was like the cherry on top after such a perfect day. Believe me, you will not be disappointed by Mrs. Planner!

We were fortunate enough to work with Ashlee and her team earlier this year for Reilly and Christans wedding at Camino Real Ranch in Austin and it was an absolute pleasure. Ashlee signed up to help plan the wedding after it had been postponed due to Covid and her assistance and expertise made the whole process so much smoother. The couple raved about how responsive and pleasant she was to work with and as a vendor I really felt like our needs were heard and accommodated.

I hired Mrs. Planner as my day-of-coordinator for my wedding. One thing that stood out to me about the services that Mrs. Planner offered that differed from the other companies I was considering was the planner would attend the final dress fitting to learn the bustle. This ultimately was the deciding factor in choosing them as my coordinator. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Mrs. Planner. The person I worked with would often take weeks to respond to my emails. I understand that it’s an insanely busy year for the wedding industry, but I don’t think communication was handled professionally. I tried to give the person the benefit of the doubt that maybe she just missed my email, but it kept happening over the course of the year. Granted I did hire her for day-of-coordinator services, but I emailed her very sparingly until about July, which was a few months before the wedding. One of the times I sent a follow-up email to inquire if she had received my email and it seemed like she was making excuses. I recognize that people have lives outside of their jobs, but please acknowledge that you received my email and are working on a response. Or if you’re away, have coverage or out of office status. I counted down the days until the final walk thru so I could turn everything over to the coordinator. I had worked on this for 2+ years and wanted to enjoy this time in my life. Final walk through came and went. Coordinator was very personable and professional. You can tell she’s done a lot of weddings. She followed up on a few things, but I wouldn’t say she took it all over (like I was hoping). Fast forward to my last fitting appt….and the coordinator didn’t show. I had confirmed with the coordinator several weeks prior that the date worked for her. About a week or so before the wedding, we had discussed the timeline/detail on the phone for two hours before she sent over a draft. I received the draft mid week and was going to get married on that Sunday. There were a lot of mistakes on it and it was the first time I really panicked that the wedding was not going to go well. Additionally, after the rehearsal, the coordinator told me that she would be at the venue setting up on the day of, but her assistants would be covering the event. The wedding day for the most part went very well! The assistant coordinator took the dog of honor back to the rental house during the reception as planned. I am very appreciative that they offered to do this. The things that didn’t go as planned for the most part were very minor. The wedding day itself was great, the lead-up to the event could have been better.

Ashlee and Grace were great and helped make the evening as smooth as possible. Ashlee was also great in stepping in and helping us when our original wedding planner was no longer available for our date!

Brie was the real MVP of our wedding day. Throughout the process she kept us on track while still being patient with us as we considered our vendors. She had a wealth of knowledge which was super helpful when we were between two vendors who both seemed amazing. Our wedding was supposed to be outside but unfortunately it rained. Although I was super stressed with making the call to move inside I never had any doubt that it would look amazing. I still can't stop looking at our pictures and remembering how beautifully everything came together. We cannot thank Brie enough for all of the time and effort she put into making our day perfect!!

Our experience with Brie was a mixed bag. She is very pleasant personally, and and she has a good sense of style. However, we found her to be somewhat rigid and disorganized as a planner. The Mrs. Planner planning process is helped tremendously by the spreadsheet that they provide - this was by far the highest-value aspect of the experience, but it does come with the coordinator package (no need to pay 4x more for the planner package). In the planning process Brie was occasionally hard to get in touch with, although we could usually schedule a meeting with about a week's notice. She was helpful in hiring vendors, but many vendors were the same ones that we had found using Google, and to my knowledge Mrs. Planner did not negotiate their rates. I will call out our photographer, hired on Brie's recommendation, who was an absolute all-star! In general, Mrs. Planner is a good option if money is no object, but we struggled to find ways to reduce the cost of our wedding, which was one thing we were hoping a planner could help with. As a coordinator she is very timeline-focused and somewhat inflexible. There was one incident where my wife and her bridesmaids were struggling to adjust her dress before dinner, and Brie spent that time hovering next to them, repeating that the dinner was being delayed and the food was getting cold. This was not helpful. Other guests told us that she was quite abrupt with them when they made requests (i.e. making time for photos, asking the band to play a little quieter during dinner). We also had a great deal of trouble planning transportation between our ceremony and reception venues. In the end we more or less planned it ourselves, and there were some complications getting guests to the reception. Overall, I would recommend Brie as a wedding coordinator rather than a planner, particularly if you are on a tight timeline with your venue.

Working with Brie made wedding planning easy. I had a small intimate event where I was planning and doing many things on my own and she jumped in and helped me on my day bring my vision to life. Don’t hesitate to use Brie as your planner, she was professional, kind, and a joy to work with.

Ashlee was awesome to work with. Initially, I felt like I didn't need a day of planner, but I'm so happy we decided to work with Ashlee. We got to truly enjoy our day since Ashlee took take of all the vendors and flow of events. She was super responsive and went above and beyond, like by offering to pick up our linens and meeting us in person before our big day.

Ashlee and her team were really great to work with, and I would highly recommend them! We had originally planned a bigger ceremony and reception, but we had to change our plans because of Covid. My husband and I had a small ceremony in the spring, and we recently had a larger reception. Throughout this crazy process, Ashlee helped us figure out our options, find AMAZING vendors, make decisions, and put together a very detailed day-of schedule. Sarah was there the day of our reception to make sure everything went perfectly. I didn't have to worry about anything!

We interviewed 3 wedding planners and ended up picking Ashlee and I'm so glad we did! Ashlee was very helpful helping us plan our big day. She helped communicate with vendors and kept us organized with checklists.

Brie is a lifesaver!! I had zero stress the day of my wedding and that is all thanks to Brie. Even my bridesmaids were gushing about how well she handled everything. Not only did the day go off without a hitch, Brie brought so many new ideas to the table. She recommended a snow machine send off, custom whataburger bags and taking a pic in the exact same pose as my mom on her wedding day to name a few. After having postponed our wedding, I was switched to working with Amy as our new date was already booked for Ashlee. Without having spoken to Amy previously, I was a little nervous. After working with her, I learned I had no reason to be! Amy was awesome to work with and someone I knew I could rely on to help my big dream come true! Planning a wedding for the second time with COVID still a big problem is very tough so having Amy there to help was a blessing! Between forgetting how early it was when I texted her or asking her randomly through the work day if I could call her with a hundred questions, she was always ready to go and help solve the next problem. I would recommend Amy to anyone and hope any bride would have the chance to work with her. On the day of, we had everyone where they needed to be, place cards moved around, tables removed from the floor plan due to no shows, bus time changes, wedding ending time changes, and anything else crazy you can think of. Amy handled each problem and/or task so easily and promptly. Thanks for everything!!

My daughter, the bride, hired Amy as her wedding planner. After speaking with several other planners who charged exorbitant prices she found Amy by word of mouth. What a great find she was/is!!! Amy always kept a cool head, she never said, “no” to any idea or task we needed done, she was always cheerful and professional. She helped us create a very personalized day, indulging us to bring cattails and our family’s agricultural products for use in the floral arrangements, she gently moved us along when there were deadlines. We added some things near the end and she took it all in stride even when those things meant extra work for her. She was so, so helpful on the day of the wedding as well. She made sure things moved along so we didn’t have to watch the clock or order people around! We could just enjoy the day. Amy is more than worth the money. I would recommend her all day, everyday!!

Amy was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. We hit it off on our first phone conversation. I hired her as a month-of coordinator and I am so glad I did. I did most of my wedding planning myself, but she made sure I didn't forget small details at the last minute. On the day of, she helped keep me in the loop of how decorating was going and letting me know how we were doing on time so I could focus on enjoying being with my bridesmaids. She helped make the day so smoothly, and I would definitely hire her again.

Ashlee and her team were instrumental in our wedding going off without a hitch. We used her 'day of' services and she came in about 4-6 weeks before the wedding and helped to finalize all of the vendors and last minute plans. I was able to hand it all off to her and only had to jump on the occasional (quick) call to validate that things were right. On the day of the wedding, she did everything. Sarah Avigne Sarah did a great job Coordinating my daughter’s Wedding and I highly recommend her if you are interested in a Wedding Planner and/or Event Coordinator. The following are just a few of the reasons why: Sarah is a great listener – key to understanding what we wanted. In our case we needed an Event Coordinator. We had already planned the Wedding – having booked the venues, hired the vendors, designed the reception, and established the event timeline. I spoke with over 20 Wedding Planners before I talked to Sarah. They all wanted to tell me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it, and what I needed to do. Sarah was the only one who listened first, asked questions, and then discussed how she felt she could fit into our plan. Sarah was very quick to grasp our plan and vision for the reception. She was a good sounding-board and great collaborator - offered insight and perspective on items, when solicited. Her experience, knowledge of wedding planning, and personality made it very easy and pleasant to work with her. She approached the role professionally and is clearly capable of executing the Wedding Planner responsibilities. She can capture concepts and work with details – both vital in ensuring expectations are met. Handing off the day-of coordination effort was easy, realizing it was in capable hands. The transition of responsibility went well. Sarah took the lead and I supported her on the very few occasions where she requested my input or to confirm a minor adjustment/alternations. Sarah did a fantastic job coordinating the vendor setting-up for the reception in the Bullock Texas State History Museum. It was a large event and we had a relatively short time duration to prepare the Rotunda and Main Hall. She has a great rapport with the vendors. She can and does not mind making decisions. She solicits input, when necessary, prior to giving direction. Sarah executed the event flawlessly. She was on top of action and implemented a contingency plan when it began to rain just prior to the couple’s departure She completely relieved us of any responsibility the day of the event, allowing us to totally immerse ourselves in the celebration and the moments, as they occurred.

When we started planning our daughter's wedding, we were very particular about choosing an event coordinator and even questioned if we needed one. We found early in the planning stages that we definitely needed someone to execute the plan so we could enjoy our daughter's wedding day. We were looking for a month-of coordinator and were recommended to Mrs. Planner from our photographer. It turned out to be such a great match! Abigail was very responsive and we kept open communication (via email and text) leading up to and throughout the wedding weekend. Abigail made sure everything during our wedding day was executed flawlessly, and even though there were a few very minor hiccups, my husband and I didn’t know about them until after the fact (which is how it should be!) We completely trusted Abigail and her team and that helped us enjoyed our day SO much more. It was a stress-free, fun, and beautiful wedding and it wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without Abigail’s help.

I was so thankful for Abigail during my wedding season! At first, I was so overwhelmed with planning a wedding in 5 short months, but Abigail made everything so easy. I was nervous with such a short engagement and skeptical if we could get everything done, but oh was she successful. She is so organized and doesn't leave out a single detail. Prior to the wedding, she went with me to a dress fitting and learned to bustle my dress, she went with me to my bridal photos, and spend countless hours on the phone and in person helping me plan for the big day. The day of my wedding she was such a godsend. When I showed up to the venue unhappy with my makeup, she wiped it all off and fixed it in a matter of minutes. When I had a mini panic attack, she stayed calm and fixed the problem quickly and without hesitation. She was an essential part of my wedding and planning process. Without Abigail so many details would have been overlooked. Abigail made the day go smoothly, without a hitch. She was on top of everything ensuring we stayed on schedule, but still there were moments my husband and I were able to enjoy. She looks out for the bride and groom to ensure the day is everything they want and up to their expectations. We love Abigail!!

Sarah, Abigail, and Ashlee couldn't have done a better job putting our wedding together. My fiancé and I hired them for our very non-traditional, same-sex, hill-country wedding. We planned an ambitious weekend and the team at Mrs. Planner pulled it all together. They filled in all the gaps, helped us fine tune the flow of events, and then executed everything perfectly! The level of organization and attention to detail was so impressive from all three women. Abigail especially kept both mothers so at ease they were able to relax and enjoy the day - no easy feat! Hiring Mrs. Planner was the best money we spent. Every wedding is great, but Mrs. Planner helped us take it to the next level! I attended two weddings both weeks prior to my own and Mrs. Planner handled both of those weddings as well. I've seen their range and I have to say, they're up for any challenge! You will be in the best of hands with this team!

As a venue owner, I see first hand the importance of a quality event coordinator. Sarah's attention to detail was flawless. She covered every detail on her timeline and had excellent communication with all the vendors. Most of all, she was quick to respond and showed up on time! I would highly recommend Mrs. Planner to future brides booking their special day with Sunset Ranch Event Center.

I initially didn’t think a month of coordinator was necessary, but I am so grateful for Amy! I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. She took care of set up, take down & moved the guests along. The money I spent was well worth it!!

Sarah helped me plan my August 5th Wedding. She was with me every step of the way. I loved having her there with me at my final fitting when my Mom couldn't make it. Sarah calmed both my nerves and my Mom's through the whole planning process.

I wish I could give Ashlee and her team 100 stars! WOW I am so beyond thankful we decided to go with Mrs. Planner for our recent December wedding. When visiting with potential planners, Ashlee was the only planner that asked me "What do you want guests to remember from your day?" I loved that and knew I could trust her to execute on my grand vision for the day! Ashlee is so sweet and fun and is also the organization queen! We met several times leading up to the wedding and she even came to my final planning appointments with vendors to ensure they would deliver exactly what they needed to on the big day. Ashlee helped make our day perfect and flow seamlessly for our guests - and that is something we will ALWAYS be grateful for. I would hire her again and recommend her 1000000x over!

Hiring Ashlee was the best decision we made & worth every penny and then some. Ashlee handled everything with grace, energy & enthusiasm. In addition to her attention to every detail, her encouragement & gentle guidance was just exactly what I needed. Leading up to the wedding she was there to answer every question and really...every worry/concern I had. She met with us to go over what to expect and offered awesome suggestions on the set up, the order of the ceremony, where to stand... stuff you don't want to think about when you're getting married, but you need to address so that the event goes off smoothly. I recommend her with confidence every time someone asks me for a wedding planner.

My goals for my wedding were to get married and enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. Ashlee Voda and her Mrs. Planner team made this happen. Ashlee provided experienced insight throughout the planning process even though she was contracted to be a month-of coordinator. She had the right questions to ask and the best suggestions to give. She knew to address so many details that would have been easily overlooked if I only relied on the online wedding checklists. Not only was Ashlee invaluable throughout the planning process, day-of she far exceeded our expectations. She handled any problems that arose quickly and with a smile. She was extremely resourceful and allowed us to enjoy our wedding without the worrying about the logistical stress of the day.
