other brides. In February, I reached out to Marci about wedding hair & makeup. She was responsive and took time to speak to me on the phone. I scheduled a trial for about 2 weeks after we first spoke. A few days before the trial, I confirmed the appointment with Marci. The day before the trial, Marci emailed me saying she needed to reschedule due to an emergency. She did not specify what the emergency was and I did not ask out of respect for her privacy. I was not sure what the circumstances were, but decided that I should give her the benefit of the doubt since emergencies come up. I rescheduled the trial for 2 weeks later, which was her first availability. The day before the rescheduled trial, I emailed Marci to confirm. She responded that she was out of town for work and due to her flight being delayed, she was not sure if she would make it back on time for my trial. I was surprised and disappointed because it wasn't until I contacted her to confirm that she brought up that she might have to cancel. And, of course, more frustrated because this was the second time that she wasn't able to keep the appointment. Due to this, I felt that I could not go forward with the trial as it made me doubt whether she would follow through on the wedding day. This was also frustrating because her needing to reschedule twice caused me to lose a month in getting a trial. As brides may know, or soon will, the cost of trials adds up so scheduling back-ups or alternative appointments is very costly. Marci did offer me 1 complimentary service after the first cancellation, and a fully complimentary trial after the second cancellation. I appreciated this. However, even with the complimentary offers, 2 cancellations did not make me feel like I could count on her for my wedding day.

for. Her professionalism and good vibe helped calm those wedding day jitters and feel at ease. She was very patient with my wedding party who were totally disorganized. She was able to remain professional and relaxed despite the mixups. I cannot thank her enough for making my day so special!!
