MSMP were phenomenal! We hired them almost 1.5 years in advance and selected their photography packaged for 8 hours. Marissa was professional and helpful from start to finish. Sinc...
e we picked such a large package we received a complimentary engagement session that allowed us to get acquainted before the big day. In the time leading up to the wedding we were constantly discussing different ideas and she was receptive to them all. When it came time to put together the timeline, she assisted me three different time because of changes in our schedule. The week of the wedding we also decided to add an additional 30 minutes to the end of the schedule for additional dance time and Marissa obliged us!
On the day of the wedding, Robert and Marissa were punctual and pleasant to be around. I remember asking for help getting my shoes on in the bridal suite and Robert jumped up before my bridesmaids could even make it over. It was a kind gesture we all laughed about as I clearly was asking my girls to help.
Throughout the day they were helpful at every corner. When we had to push back our timeline by 30 minutes due to the rain and re arrange flat lays because I forgot my bag with shoes, rings, ect, they were flexible. Robert was working with my team to watch the weather and ensure we still got the best photos if the ceremony had to be changed.
We also booked a separate videographer and the two vendors worked seamlessly together! We are so happy with our choice to have MSMP as a part of our day.
I contemplated writing this bc I’d like every local business to do well, but the truth is we just weren’t happy with the photo/video package we received from MSMP. All is said and ...
done now it’s just unfortunate for the money that we spent. Despite this, Marisa and her husband were very nice.
But there were several things that were frustrating, first being that it took almost 6 months to get our full package (the last thing sent was the crystal usb). The only time I was ever sent an update or follow up about the delay was when I reached out to MSMP. I was never once contacted to explain the long timeframe for our package. All the while, the company was heavy on social media advertising and posting personal content. Not to mention, she no showed to our first phone meeting for planning. That had to be rescheduled.
Additionally, we requested vintage style photos and were happy with the portfolio of vintage pictures that we got from MSMP in the beginning. But our photo package we received 5 months later was not at all edited the way we were shown in her examples and agreed to.
Another thing that happened was that we were told we’d get all speeches in our videography that we paid for, however, we had a total of 2 speeches, and both of them weren’t successfully filmed. For our uncles dinner toast, apparently the audio wasn’t working on their end so we lost that speech. Then for our family friend speech, the audio wasn’t working until 24 seconds in. This was very disappointing.
My last thing that I didn’t appreciate is that the contract pretty much protects them from any delays in timeframe to receive your package as well as any mishaps etc. therefore this just made us feel like a bait and switch situation. Anyway, I get the feeling that they continually take on new clients to secure more money but cannot keep up with the demand. Perhaps it would be more beneficial to catch up on current contracts instead of accruing more and more.
I first want to say that I have put together an unconventional wedding plan (and did it very quickly, which is hard when most things are planned months to a year in advance!)

sa and her husband Robert kept in constant communication with me after our initial phone call. They asked for input from me on what would be perfect pictures of my husband and I. I shared ideas from Pinterest and we shared ideas before getting starting with our pictures that day. They were both super flexible and were on board with whatever new idea we came up with.
They captured so many beautiful pictures from our day. They turned out better than I had ever imagined!
We booked MSMP for our wedding and were so pleased! They were great with communication. They had several packages to ensure we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Jordan, our ...
photographer, was great!
We had a beautiful wedding day surrounded by loved ones. That being said, parts of the day were made stressful due to poor communication from the MSMP team. We lost 45 minutes of o...
ur paid package time for this reason, completely missing all getting ready photos. They failed to provide a phone number for us to contact them at, making them unreachable during this time. I contacted them by email right at our agreed upon start time, but did not hear back and was only able to eventually get ahold of them via our day of coordinator. The team said we would make up my getting ready pictures by staging the moments at the venue before the ceremony, and I received two disappointing photos of manufactured moments. We were told by some friends and family that they heard the photographers joking about missing these moments throughout the night.
They arrived without the must have photo list that we provided on their request, seemingly had not reviewed it, and did not direct the photos. I was left scrambling to try and remember all of my requested photo pairings and to direct people on my wedding day, rather than to relax and enjoy the process. This was very stressful, and resulted in me missing out on important photos with my friends and family.
We first were told our photos may not arrive until as late as 120 days after our wedding, while our contract said 60 and their website said 90. After a discussion with the photographers, where they admitted misremembering what our delivery timeframe was per the contract, they did ultimately deliver our photos within about 75 days of our wedding and prioritized getting about ten photos to us earlier so we could print them in time for the holidays.
There were some photos we received that we really enjoyed, and we were happy with our engagement photos. Group photos seemed to be a challenge, and the team was not prepared to direct them. However, individual, couple, and detail shots (rings/decor) were for the most part well done. We paid for a single shooter, but the owner, Marisa, ended bringing her husband as well, so we had two instead. They did give us more photos in our gallery than our contract stipulated, however, many of these were of the same moment, and for us, it was most important that we received the photos we requested, rather than just more. All in all, if you are hosting a very small, intimate wedding, or you do not have specific photos that are very important to you, they could be a good fit, but I would caution if that is not the case for you.
The MSMP team was Amazing! You are not a number with them, but family. They sincerely care about everyone and you could see this shine through as they took photos at the wedding ...
we attended. I highly recommend the MSMP team to all of our family and friends!
