These guys know what they're doing! They were so kind and knew exactly what type of music the guests wanted to hear. Prior to the wedding there was an amazing amount of communication so we were all on the same page. I would definitely recommend them!

Got married on 10/12/24 and used MSV for our DJ. From the beginning they were easy to work with and very informative, they provided me with multiple package options and I was able to customize it in certain areas. DJ Sean reached out to be in advanced and we discussed my playlist wishlist from seating and processional, to cocktail hour and reception, and everything in between. Gabriel was our MC and together him and Sean kept my dance floor packed all night! My venue didn’t have electric set up at my ceremony site but Sean had all battery operated equipment for my seating and ceremony music. Everyone was professional and very easy to work with. My wedding was a big dance party which is exactly what I wanted. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ MSV has everything you need!

If you’re getting married in the Hudson valley there is no other choice than MSV. Chris is the best vendor I’ve ever worked with. He knows exactly how to put your vision into reality. Curt was our DJ and was absolutely on point with the music from start to finish. I could not be happier with what they accomplished. 100% hands down there’s no other option for your big day.

Hiring MSV for our wedding was probably one of the best decisions we made! Chris and Bill made the entire process so simple and made sure that we had everything we needed to make our day perfect. They got on a call with us to discuss exactly what we wanted in terms of music throughout the night, and they made accommodations for everything we requested. Everyone was on the dance floor at some point, and the range of music was perfect for our guests. They were also incredibly personable. We had an entire conversation about the genre of our first dance song, and it was so nice to talk about something that wasn't specifically wedding that day. I would highly recommend them for your next event!

We had an amazing experience using MSV for our wedding DJ! All of our guests were raving about the music. We had DJ Sean “Fuzzy” Spencer and he was amazing! Really receptive to all of our thoughts and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend MSV - they had our dance floor packed!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Chris and DJ Bill at MSV! Chris was our MC and was exceptional, incredibly receptive to our taste/style preferences, and most importantly, listened and responded promptly to our requests throughout the entire planning process and throughout the reception. And DJ Bill was excellent; we got so many compliments from our guests on the music throughout the evening! We even had a couple special requests/surprises throughout the night, and both Chris and Bill were totally game to go with the flow. One specific example: we asked my dad to play violin for our outdoor ceremony, but it started to rain midway through the day, which would have ruined his violin. While the rain ended up stopping before the ceremony, Chris and Bill were happy to work with my dad to move the amplification around and accommodate him being covered by a tent, rather than in his original location on the other side of the ceremony site. All in all, they were easy to work with, super fun, and had great taste. Definitely would recommend!

Chris from MSV made our DJ and Videography process seamless and was extremely professional through the whole process! He was extremely responsive and made sure every one of our requests in regard to music were met! The day of our wedding our guests had nothing better to say. We included many family traditions and Chris was helpful every step of the way. The two videographers from MSV were also amazingly talented and professional. They knew exactly what they were doing and were very friendly and helpful in filming the perfect shots. We cannot wait to see the final product!

Chris and Bill were so awesome to work with. Chris really helped us plan out the order of our reception, and was great at coordinating the evening. Bill listened to all of our requests and kept us and our guests on our feet the entire night. We got so many compliments on how fun our wedding was thanks to them, and they're so affordable! We also rented our photo booth through MSV and people loved it!!

MSV was great to deal with for our wedding. Amazing DJ and Chris was there to make my wedding night extra special. A lot of people were on the dance floor. One slight hiccup with the photo booth as we thought we lost the pictures but Chris was able to send us digital copies as well. Choose MSV for your next big gig!

I could not recommend Music Speaks Volumes enough. Our experience was streamlined by the owner, Chris, who was highly responsive throughout the booking process. Once our date was closer, we were assigned Bill as our DJ. He was communicative and from our first phone call, we knew he would be great. He played such great music to our taste and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. So many of our guests gave accolades to our DJ. Our MC was Sean, who was also fantastic. He kept the party going all night and had great energy. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and made our wedding a fun party! Would highly recommend.

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish thanks to MSV! Leading up to the event, Chris and Bill both took time to meet with us over the phone on multiple occasions to go over the event order and the music. Bill worked hard to get our playlist just right, using a combination of songs that were important to us and just the right music to steer the party where it needed to go. On our wedding day, they were very communicative with us, and always checked in if they weren't sure about something in order to be certain that it was how we wanted. Our ceremony was flawless - everything was perfectly cued and faded, and exactly how we imagined. Many of our guests ended up on the dance floor during the whole reception, and I found it hard to go do anything else at my own wedding because every song that came on was one that I wanted to dance to! I absolutely recommend adding the photo booth - we didn't originally but I am SO happy that we changed our minds - it gave the kids another option for entertainment, and even our much older relatives had so much fun playing around with it. We are so grateful to you both for giving us and our guests a fantastic party. Thank you, Chris and Bill!

We used MSV for our wedding this past September at The Hollow Brook Golf Club and it was great! We had Bill as our dj and Chris as our MC, and they were both fantastic. Both of them were so helpful in the planning process and helped make our day so memorable. We also got the mirror booth and our guests loved it. It was so much fun! We also had Jon as our videographer and our wedding video came out beautiful. They are great to work with and I highly recommend!

MSV did our wedding this past Sunday November 12, 2023 and they were awesome. I have seen weddings where the DJ was a glorified mp3 and MSV was far from that. Bill did a great job as our DJ. He kept the crowd engaged and on the dance floor. The Photo Booth was amazing so many of our guests used it and made awesome memories with the guest book.

I used MSV for my wedding last month and had a great experience with them. They provided DJ, Photo Booth, uplighting and videography. Bill was our DJ and kept the dance floor packed all night. Chris was our MC and is amazing to work with! I can’t say enough great things about them!

We had Fuz/Sean doing the actual DJing at our wedding and it was good, no complaints there though we didn’t have super strong preferences. We weren’t thrilled with the company’s communication, though. We had to request pretty much all the information ourselves instead of it being proactively provided (form to indicate songs, etc) and they were all very rudimentary - a pdf to fill out which was a bit of a pain instead of a document we could type into or even better a form to fill out online. I know that a different DJ company we interviewed had a much better system that even let you play clips and showed what songs were popular for different parts. We also needed to request a couple times to be put in contact with our DJ before it happened, and when we did meet with him the form we had sent in had not been forwarded to him. Not a big deal, I just emailed it over but just another example of gaps in communication. The biggest thing was that our contract specified that we would have a DJ and MC as separate people. When we met with our DJ to talk about timeline logistics and music preferences, he had no idea and said he was coming alone (and didn’t mention it until our coordinator asked about it). We sent an email to Chris (our contact until we met Fuz) about it and he gave us a call back and we talked about it. He offered a discount for it and then ended up finding someone who could do it but we opted for the discount instead of the last-minute replacement we couldn’t find reviews for. Ended up fine but would have preferred this to be proactively communicated instead of only coming up because our coordinator asked.

I normally do not write reviews but MSV really knows how to keep a party going . Our wedding at West Hills Country Club was a HUGE party thanks to Chris & DJ Bill Skillz . I heard only good things about MSV but using them as a vendor for our wedding was the best choice we ever made !

We had DJ Sean "Fuzzy" Spencer and MC Gabriel for our wedding. My husband and I could not be happier with how the night went! From start to finish, Fuzzy and Gabriel had the dance floor packed. Everyone (friends and family) have been telling us that it's the most fun wedding they've been to!

Bill Skillz crushed the music and Chris was so great at checking in on us, letting us know the run of show and even helping out with our ceremony coordination. He was SO kind and thoughtful. I am not one to typically write reviews but I felt I needed to. What can I say about MSV Entertainment? Only good things! They were so accommodating, helpful, prepared and overall a joy to work with. They are such a wonderful group to work with. We utilized their DJ, MC & videographers. All of them were so knowledgeable and helped us personalize parts of our wedding we had not even thought of (such as what songs everyone walked down the aisle to, or having a stop motion video of our bride & groom legos). All four men that we worked with helped brighten our day, took away stress and/or made us laugh. They were respectful of the other vendors that we had working as well. I cannot speak more highly of these gentlemen and this business. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is hosting an event, especially a wedding! Our special day would not have been as good without them and the videos that they made for us, help us relive the day as well. The videos are one of the best things that we invested in from our wedding. Whenever we think back on our wedding, the vendors are always a highlight we talk about, which includes MSV. Music was such an important part of our wedding planning thoughts and we really wanted to make sure we picked the right vendor. We hadn’t been to many weddings or events with DJs or hosts, etc, but we saw MSV on our wedding venue’s preferred vendors list and decided to reach out. We booked pretty far in advance, so when it got to a few months out from the date everything began pretty quickly. The planning process with MSV was very smooth, organized, and easy, which was great considering this point of wedding planning was pretty stressful. We met/spoke with Chris regularly and he was always able to answer questions and accommodate any changes. Wedding day was better then we could’ve imagined. Chris (MC/host) Bill (DJ), and Kaitlin (photo booth attendant) were friendly, professional, and overall enjoyable to work with. Even almost a month after the wedding, we’re still hearing how much our guests loved MSV. They truly know how to keep a party going and get & keep everyone dancing. We have been recommending every and anyone we can to MSV and don’t plan on stopping any time soon

A tremendous and heartfelt thank you to DJ Bill Skillz and Chris for bringing our dream wedding to life!!! From the beginning, they were professional, responsive, prompt, and super friendly. Our music was one of the most special and important things to us, and what we loved the most was that they took the time to really listen, and take into account all it meant to us. They took all of our requests, made some great suggestions, and put together the perfect night. Bill checked in with us as the big day approached to figure out all the details. He was so personable, and took his time with us. We were so happy with both Bill and Chris throughout the whole process. They saw it through to the last song of the night, both professionally and personally. We would recommend them without hesitation!! We can’t thank them enough for everything!

From the very beginning, MSV/Chris was great to work with. He helped us through the planning process early on to determine what we wanted to do, and how we wanted to make the music/energy match with what we were looking for. Extremely professional, courteous and very easy to work with through the entire process. Chris was also our MC and kept the energy up the whole night. We were lucky enough to work with DJ Bill Skillz - who we can't say enough good things about! He made sure to call us ahead of time to review and go over what we wanted for the night, and he definitely delivered on exactly what we wanted. The ceremony and cocktail hour music was exactly what we were looking for. The music and energy for the reception right from the start was perfect, and we keep getting compliments from our guests. The Bride's father specifically said it was the best music he has ever heard at a wedding. Highly recommend these two and MSV.

We booked MSV for our wedding after we saw them at a family wedding, and we are so glad we did. Our DJ was Bill Skillz, and we knew from the initial phone conversation that we had, that he was a cool guy who took his position in making our event special seriously. They did not disappoint. We had a lot of requests music wise since we are music lovers, and he listened to all of it; while putting his spin on things, and feeling out what the crowd wanted. When we wanted to really start to dance, and get the crowd moving he got right in there with such a good mix of music, people are still talking about it. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for a great DJ, MSV is the way to go. The new owner Chris, and the DJ Bill were nothing short of amazing. I told them I had no idea what I was doing to plan my wedding and that I would need their professional help. Chris was very responsive and worked with me personally to help give me ideas. Bill also called me to talk to me about the music and what my husband and I like. The day of the wedding Chris and Bill were so much fun! Chris had checked in with me and my husband periodically to see if we had any questions or requests. He even walked around and asked our guests if they wanted to hear anything special. Chris was the MC and he constantly hyped up the room. For our entrance, they brought these spark boxes? Kind of like those sparkler fireworks. It was perfect and everyone went crazy. We also got the mirror photo booth and it was a huge hit! If you’re thinking about booking it, DO IT!

We used Music Speaks Volumes (MSV) this past weekend for our wedding at Diamond Mills in saugerties NY, and wow did they speak volumes. Chris (MC) and Bill(DJ) pulled off one memorable party for sure. They worked seamlessly with our venue staff to ensure that the party kept going, and things were done according to plan. The mix of music by DJ Bill of new and old playlists was outstanding. Chris pulled off the tight rope act of being present and involved, yet not to overpower the ceremony. Between ceremony music, uplighting, introductions and the photobooth they delivered on all items in the contract in a BIG way. They had a slight hiccup with the photobooth before the party, but communicated well to us and solved the problem prior to us even knowing something was wrong. We had 2 phone conferences with them before the wedding to ensure there was a clear direction that was followed to the T. These guys were easy going, and anything we asked of them whether it be an announcement made or song request they executed immediately like it had been in the plans since the beginning. Affordable price point with great services you can count on MSV at your next event!

My husband and I were so glad that we booked MSV Entertainment for our wedding! DJ Curt Kre Z is phenomenal at what he does — he kept the party going and got everyone out on the dance floor. The transition from ceremony music to cocktail hour to reception was seamless. It was also great having both an emcee and a DJ to keep things moving. The photo booth was a great addition and our guests loved it! I can’t recommend MSV highly enough.

We made a great choice choosing MSV for our wedding! They were one of the recommended vendors for West Hills and we are so happy we chose them!! Chris was so accommodating with everything we requested. The music was amazing all night long and kept people dancing!

We contracted MSV for our October 2020 wedding. Unfortunately due to covid we had to cancel. During the beginning they were nothing but kind and responsive. They offered us our deposit back but asked to give them time to repay it. It is now February 2022 and we have yet to see it returned to us despite numerous follow ups. Communication has become horrible. They promised a refund multiple times and the latest correspondence was basically them taking back their promise and saying we will not see a return. I offered to work with them to make payments until it was returned—no response. I wouldn’t recommend hiring as they make promises they cannot keep.

MSV and Bill were amazing!! Even months later people were still commenting on how fun our wedding was and there were always people dancing. Before the wedding I was absolutely stressing out over song selections for the ceremony and various reception "moments" and Bill was so patient and helpful. My indecisiveness meant he didn't get half the songs until just 4 days before the wedding and only got the recessional song and our toast order the day before! I don't know how he felt about it but he pulled it all together beautifully! We also had a number of Russian songs that we wanted played during the reception and he did a great job integrating them.

Curt and Gabriel were our DJ and Host for our wedding on 11/13 and I cant say enough good things about the two of them! They had every single guest on the dance floor ALL night. I truly loved how much fun all of my guests were having. They both were super engaging, and kept my guests dancing all night long. Gabriel and I spoke a few weeks ahead of the wedding and discussed music choices, and went over the timeline. The communication we had was great, and very helpful! I highly recommend MSV, and using Curt and Gabriel! You wont be disappointed.

DJ/MC Gabriel was our MC and Curt was our DJ. Our experience was absolutely amazing. I really wanted everyone to have a great time and wanted everyone up and dancing. That is exactly what happened. It could not have been done without Gabriel as our host. His energy level set the tone of the evening and he made sure our crowd was having a good time from the moment he introduced himself and Curt. Gabriel knows how to work a crowd and interact with a crowd – making the evening fun, lighthearted while keeping it professional at the same time. He made it a point to make sure my guests were always in good spirits and wanting to dance. In my opinion, music is what makes a party a party and dancing is what makes a wedding fun. Gabriel and Curt really hit it out of the park, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. He made my husband and I feel very important which is something every bride and groom should feel on their wedding night. Leading up to our wedding day, Gabriel and MSV in general was very responsive and the communication was excellent. About a week before our wedding we had a phone call with Gabriel letting him know what we wanted, and he assured us that the night would be a blast and that there was nothing to worry about. Well, he stuck true to his words. I do not think we stopped smiling the entire night. It will be something we will remember forever. We highly recommend. Ask for Gabriel and Curt!! I would ask them to be part of our wedding all over again if I could!! I will forever recommend this company and Gabriel and Curt to everyone. Videography Gabby and Ray Gabby and Ray were an absolute pleasure to work with. Ray came to where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready – he was very prompt. We had a phone call before our wedding to review timing – assuring me that the day would go smoothly. He was right. He was on time when showing up and prompt the entire day. From getting video of me getting ready, from the church ceremony to the reception. He worked VERY well with our photographers. He made me feel at ease the entire time, it was always obvious he knew what he was doing. He made it easy for me. Gabby met my husband at our church ceremony and me when I showed up. She was attentive and creative. Gabby was very friendly and worked very well with our photographers and Ray. Both also had visions in their mind of what would look good. They both created a picture in their head and had my husband and I perform their vision. It was excellent. Their communication level was 10/10. When they asked us to do something for their video it was easy to understand, and it was actually very fun. Having video footage is something that will last for the rest of our lives. I am so happy that Ray and Gabby were part of our wedding day, I would ask them to do it for us all over again. If you are unsure if you want video, just do it. You will have no regrets. And ask for Ray and Gabby!!!!

MSV was great! First off, they were so kind and professional in allowing us to reschedule the wedding twice due to the pandemic. Richie and Nick listened to every request we had and played the exact music we asked for (and we had a lot of requests!). Music is so important to us and we could not be happier with how it set the mood and the tone for the evening. Would highly recommend!

We booked MSV as our DJ and videographer for our pandemic rescheduled wedding in July 2021. This company was so accommodating while moving to a new date. Gabe and Curt were our fantastic MC and DJ. We received a lot of compliments from our friends and family about how much fun they had dancing and partying on our special day. They had impeccable song choices and were extremely professional, thoughtful, and involved in helping to tailor to our personal preferences for how we wanted our celebration. John did an amazing job as our videographer. Our wedding video came out perfect and we will have this to cherish now. Thank you!! Our experience with MSV was not what we had hoped for. They were great in terms of working with my daughter as she was a “pandemic bride” and had to reschedule her wedding several times. The MC, Gabriel, was very good and engaged the crowd in the beginning and we were excited to see the dance floor packed. However, the DJ only played from the playlist (which my daughter had given them a few weeks prior to the wedding) for the first half hour. So disappointing, especially after my daughter approached the DJ about this issue as well as other family members and they ignored her wishes. Toward the end of the reception they finally went back to the playlist. I still cannot comprehend why the two DJ’s chose the music they did. In addition, they brought along a new hire and quite frankly neither him or the original DJ did not do a good job of reading the crowd. Very disappointed and would recommend that if using them, be adamant about the music you want played.

Bill and Gabe were absolutely AMAZING at my wedding last week!! They were an incredible team, not only knew the best music to play and when to play it, but were engaging, funny, talented and WE ALL had a BLAST!! Huge thanks to MSV!! Would highly recommend!! Maria

We had an amazing experience with everyone at MSV. Our DJ, Bill, was friendly and professional. Gabe, our MC, was great at getting people on the dance floor and announcing everything. He kept the wedding going and kept it fun. We also had Jon, who was our videographer. Jon was very professional and did a great job capturing everything we needed!

I sat down with John from MSV 2 years prior to our wedding never knowing I would soon be facing the nightmare of being a “pandemic bride”. Throughout the entire process of changing around dates and venues, John was always responsive and accommodating. He even went out of his way to call me personally just to reassure me that everything would be OK. Having rescheduled our wedding 4 times, I never would have thought I’d see the day where I’d actually be celebrating my wedding day. We got married 5/15/21 and a few weeks prior, I had the pleasure of speaking with Gabriel, the host. He made me feel so comfortable and confident that everything would go as planned. It wasn’t until our wedding day that I realized how incredibly lucky I was to have him there. My husband and I ran into some unfortunate issues with the person that was suppssed to be our “maitre d” and Gabriel literally came to the rescue, he kept me sane so that I wouldn’t have a breakdown and even went out of his way to ask us what we needed and provide us with drinks and lots of laughs. I kept telling him that he was more like our Maitre D then the other person that was supposed to be! He played the role of two jobs that night and I couldn’t thank him enough. Curt, the DJ, was fantastic! Played every song we asked for plus more. He had our guests up dancing the entire time. Everyone loved it and the style of music was exactly what we wanted! Lastly, I was told by our family that MSV was wonderful in accommodating their surprise video that someone put together for us. There were some technical difficulties on our end with the video and Gabriel and Curt stepped right in immediately to help out, yet again! Thank you to the team at MSV for the best experience and going above and beyond to make sure our night turned out perfect. You truly made our wedding complete.
