Welcome to a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in the Hood River Valley—the Orchard Meadow at Mt. View Orchards in Parkdale, OR. Framed by a stunning view of Mount Hood and surrounded by beautiful apple and pear trees, the Orchard Meadow is a truly magnificent site for your big day.
The venue features a groomed lawn and a charming pole barn with artistic lighting, which accommodate up to 160 guests. We also offer seating and convenient spaces for catering and bar service.
Your caterers will love the option of including fruit from the Mt. View Orchards fruit stand in your reception menu. The fruit stand offers over a hundred varieties of pears, apples, peaches, and cherries, all raised on the farm. For your bar menu, we also offer fresh apple cider and our own custom-label Golden Row hard cider

She is also on top of the planning, reaching out multiple times well before deadlines for clarifications and further info, staying engaged and keeping an open line of communication whenever we needed.
The service staff were also an absolute delight, very friendly and quick to get orders out as well as quick response to accidents or extra help needed.
Overall, the entire team here is an absolute delight with high expectations of professionalism and work flow. Again, Anastasia is an absolute rockstar and any couple would be lucky to have her on their side. Thank you for an unforgettable day in the rainy, windy PNW!

Pro's:
1) The staff is incredibly helpful in their communication as we planned this wedding from out of state.
2) Helped take measurements and facetime of the space for us.
3) Made helpful recommendations for other vendors, i.e. photographer.
4) Accommodated our vision and budget and helped execute it in a way that made sense for us.
5) Both a pro and a con: There is an onsite cottage to get ready in which was helpful, but it is hard to get to for friends/family/hair and makeup and it was very small. Unfortunately, the space does not open up to you until 10am and you have to all have your things out of there by the time the ceremony starts. It is very nice to have the option to get ready onsite and we did, but the limitations around timing and moving things/finding the building made it a challenge.
Cons's:
1) The decor provided by the venue was quite old and faded, such as the wood on the bar and the wine barrels. They were intended to be at the top of the aisle for our ceremony and once we saw them, we had to pivot.
2) The onsite staff helps with the day of setup of the wedding but the majority was done by family/friends. There was simply not enough help or time to get it all done if we didn't have people help.
3) The onsite team was showing the venue to prospective couples the day of the wedding which felt like a distraction and unexpected.
4) Be aware the bathrooms are mobile bathrooms near the reception space. Not bad, just small but functional.

d the covered area for both our dinner and dancing so that we’d be out of the sun which I highly recommend that as an option. The lawn had tons of room for yard games and they have plenty of barrels to serve as cocktail tables during cocktail hour. I can’t say enough good things about this venue—our friends and family are still talking about it.
