Alex did an amazing job with all the photos she took during our wedding! She goes above and beyond to make sure you get all the shots you want. Definitely my favorite photographer ...
of all time❤️
We are so glad that Alex was there to capture all the best moments of our wedding day! She is equally kind and efficient, friendly and professional. Alex readily listened to our wa...
nts and vision for our wedding day and did an excellent job delivering the photographs we can now treasure forever. I HIGHLY recommend you hire her!

s such a fun way to relive the whole day from start to finish. She made sure we stayed on schedule on our wedding day and was so supportive. She is very flexible and willing to adapt to your needs. Our wedding party loved working with her too. I highly recommend Alex for your wedding photographer 1000/10
Wonderful from start to finish! Our plan😂(plans and weddings) was Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park for pictures morning of. Mother Nature(who's the real boss here) d...
ecided snow closing down the middle part of the road was a better idea this year. That's ok Alex said! Instead of trying to still capture all the amazing photos in 1 day we'll make it 2! She could've said oh well, but she's in this for you and that's rare these days. Her beautiful and fun spirit along with her knowledge of the area was exactly what we needed. She kept us on track and kept things light and fun. The pictures are breathtaking and she got them to us in a timely manner. She's a no brainer for the perfect photographer to capture your special day and is fun to hang out with too. Let's face it you want amazing photos and someone you can trust to give that to you with laughs along the way. We didn't ask her to change her plans. She worked it all out and called with a plan. No stress. Thank you, Alex!
If I could give more than 5 stars, Alex would get them! My now husband and I were planning our wedding in Yellowstone (we are from Michigan) so all communication was through phon...
e calls or text. We knew from our first phone call that we chose the right person! Alex was so sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful! Planning a wedding from across the country is not easy but Alex went above and beyond with sending many recommendations for officiant, hair, makeup, flowers, everything! Any stress I had along the way, she assured me it would all be perfect, and boy was she right! She took all of our dreams and put a plan together for the most perfect day ever! Although we had many roadblocks as our day arrived, Alex showed up with a smile on her face and such a positive attitude! Our venue ended up being evacuated due to flooding, but with her quick thoughts and knowledge of the area, Alex came up with a backup plan that turned out to be more magical than I could ever dream of! I am forever grateful for her going above and beyond for our big day! Alex is so much more than a photographer, she is a friend that is going to make sure your day is more than you could’ve ever imagined!
This review is so long overdue! But Alex was the absolute best! My (now) husband and I were planning an out of town wedding so our first interaction with Alex was over the phone an...
d I knew right away she was who I wanted for the wedding. When we were able to make a trip to Bozeman for other wedding errands, Alex came out and met us for drinks in person and we just got to know one another! I have a very quiet, reserved husband and she was able to put him at ease so much to feel comfortable (trust me, that says A LOT!) When it actually came to the wedding she was sooo good, all of our family and friends were telling us all weekend how good she was and how much fun she was to work with! We got so many photos back from her, we had a hard time picking our favorites for our book! Friends who saw the pictures after were blown away by the quality and quantity of photos that she sent us. You will not be disappointed if you hire Alex for any of your photo needs! I know my husband and I will be reaching out to her in the future for other important events! Thank you so much Alex!
Alex was amazing! As most brides know 2020 weddings were more than complicated and she really went the extra mile. Not only did we get the most stunning engagement photos with our ...
wedding package but she also went to the courthouse to photograph our last minute elopement when our wedding was cancled. It was incredibly special. To top everything off, the following summer she came back to photograph a dress reveal for my husband and me (in the pouring rain). The photos were out of this world beautiful and she captured my husband and I perfectly. She made such a chaotic situation so beautiful to look back on.
Alex is wonderful! She traveled about 5 hours to our wedding location and spent the day prior scouting the best photo spots. She spent the entire wedding day with us - sun up to su...

until our big day, she was always available if we had any questions and during the wedding she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She got all the shots we could have wanted and we didn't even know she was there - it was perfect! Stop looking at other photographers and book Alex now. She is amazing and her work speaks for itself. I would HIGHLY recommend Mudshine Media, and we can't wait to use her again in the future!!!!!
We hired Alex after re-planning our wedding in California 3 separate times to then finally land on eloping in Montana. From our very first conversation I knew we had to hire her! S...
he's beyond kind and has such incredible knowledge of the area and photography! To say she made our wedding incredible is an understatement. Her photos were the highlight of our wedding! She was an absolute joy to be around and have at our elopement! She captured so much love and joy in the photos she took at our event! My husband and I will both tell any bride still looking for a wedding photographer, TO STOP LOOKING AND HIRE ALEX NOW! You will NOT regret it and the end result photos you have in your hands that you get to cherish for the rest of your lives will NOT disappoint. Thank you Alex, beyond words for capturing our day! You talent for photography is inspiring and incredible!! You'll be hearing from us again, "we're expecting" photos only seem right to be in Montana taken with your lens! THANK YOU!
Alex was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish! She was in constant contact with me, happy to answer any questions I had before the wedding, and worked with me on ...
a plan for the big day. She arrived early to scout perfect locations for our pictures and was beyond patient when I was late getting started and the weather changed our plans.
She stayed all the way until the end of our reception, and the moments she captured were priceless. The book she made for us will be a treasure we look at for years to come and I get compliments from everyone who was in the wedding as well as any friends or family who have seen our photos. Even a year after our wedding I contacted her for some ceremony footage and she had it in the mail to me right away!
I would highly recommend Mudshine Media, Alex is patient and kind and will make your day so special!
Alex is absolutely amazing! She made me, my husband, and all of our wedding party very comfortable. She is extremely talented. Everyone, including myself, comments on what a great ...

. Looking at the pictures she took of our elopement, I see so many pictures of us laughing with each other and this is exactly what I wanted.
Our wedding ended up being just the two of us and Alex, and she made taking a million pictures easy and fun! My (now) husband was so nervous about having his picture taken and she put us both at ease almost immediately. She is a true artist and professional and an absolute pleasure to spend time with.
Thank you for capturing our hearts!

She makes photo taking fun and made both me and my fiance feel at ease and SO comfortable! She captures the raw emotion and creates photographs that will last a lifetime. I already have 6 of her photos printed on old barn wood hanging around our house (I can't wait to get more printed as well). I LOVED working with her and can't wait to higher her again in the future <3

hich was very helpful. She was so intentional to get to know us beyond taking pictures of us. She became a friend and made us feel so comfortable. It was really important to us having an outdoor, Montana wedding that we had all our couple, family and wedding party photos with mountains in the backdrop. She was so patient throughout the whole day and we are so incredibly happy with our gorgeous mountain wedding pictures! I would recommend Alex to anyone who's looking for beautiful, adventurous photos for their big day!

ckly. The day of she was very mindful of our time had some seriously fantastic ideas for awesome photos that we hadn’t talked about before and it was a surprise! The photos turned out stunning and we truly enjoyed having her as a part of our wedding day! 10/10 recommend
If you are looking for a photographer in the Bozeman/Big Sky area, my wife and I would highly recommend using Alex! My wife and I aren't from the MT area, so Alex took the time to...
FaceTime with us to get to know us as a couple and get a sense for what we wanted out of our photography session. She was very easy to communicate with leading up to our arrival in MT and then worked to gather additional information in the days leading up to the session.
After completing the session, Alex returned over 250 high quality prints that were incredibly creative and exactly what we were looking for from our session. We elected not to purchase a wedding album, but Alex offered to provide us the name of the printing company she uses so that we can have a trusted source print our pictures.
We would highly recommend anyone looking for a photographer to reach out to Alex. You certainly won't be disappointed; we weren't!
Alex is the perfect combination of professional and playful! We had so much fun working with her, and was such a calm presence to have around on a crazy day. She captured all the l...
ittle moments beautifully. We are elated over our gorgeous mountain wedding photos!

cause we didn't have a car, took us to two different BEAUTIFUL locations and we did our engagement session. She even picked up a bottle of champagne for us because we were short on time. The only thing I'm sad about is the fact that she's all the way in Montana, I'd love for her to do all our pictures going forward.
Alex was absolutely wonderful! Our wedding group was very large and she directed us all with ease, in spite of misbehaving weather and toddlers. She had tons of fun photo ideas and...
was a delight to have around. We couldn't be happier with our photos- Alex captured beautiful shots of family and guests from the youngest to the oldest. Some of Dylan's and my favorite photos of the two of us are during the craziest weather, with wind and sideways rain, although Alex also suggested a post-wedding sunset shoot with just Dylan and me that was absolutely magical as well. Mudshine Media captured all the best of our perfect day!
