Mukha Spa

I used Megan at Mukha Spa for my wedding day makeup, as well as for my bridesmaids. She is incredible! I have been a client for many years, but have never had a makeover. From the booking process through my wedding day application, I couldn't have been happier with Mukha! For my trial, she walked me through each step as she did it, asking if I liked the direction where we were going, and changing anything I didn't love without hesitation. My biggest wish with my wedding day makeup, was to look like the most beautiful version of myself without looking over the top. Megan accomplished this with myself and each of my girls, without breaking a sweat and kept us laughing. I have been in weddings before where the makeup application was awkward and forced, and this was the complete opposite. She put everyone at ease, and we were able to sit and enjoy ourselves before the wedding activity went full force. I was less than pleased with my hair style from a salon down High Street and she was understanding and even offered to call her personal stylist in to come fix it for me. She took each person's skin and style into consideration, and everyone looked stunning without looking overdone. They recommend airbrush for all brides (good-bye sweating off makeup), and lashes to make pictures pop. Whenever I had a question, Megan or Sanito were always there. They work with brides on a weekly basis, and have fantastic suggestions and insight into vendors throughout the city too. Without hesitation I would recommend Megan at Mukha for any bridal or other services!

I heard about mukha from a friend who had been in a lot of weddings in Columbus. She told me I HAD to hire Tim, so I tried, but he was already booked. Instead I got Megan, and she was SO amazing! My trial was so fun, and I felt amazing. I had never used airbrush before, so I was a little nervous, but it felt like nothing on my face, and it looked fantastic. The day of it looked just as good! I will also say that my bridal party consisted of a lot of different kinds of faces. My maid of honor is obsessed with makeup, and normally likes it better when she does her own, but she LOVED hers. One of my sisters-in-law never ever wears makeup and she felt comfortable and loved the way she looked. We had pale redheads to dark Persians, and everyone looked amazing and felt amazing. We all looked like ourselves too, which I loved. The makeup stayed on all day, and I was probably crying for 50% of it, and it looks so beautiful in pictures. I cannot wait for the next time I need professional makeup in Columbus. I loved this experience so much!! They were also really professional and sweet in my hotel room when we got ready, which was great because you don't want to spend the day with annoying people, haha. I also did the bridal package at mukha. My facial, brow tint, and spray tan were all amazing and I really felt like a celebrity. I looked like me, but just like a glowing amazing version of me. My massage wasn't great, but I didn't feel like I wasted money on it. I also had a wonderful time working with Sanito over email with all of my scheduling. They really made me feel like the most important bride they had, and I know they had a million in and out of there, and I am so glad they were a part of my wedding experience. I am so excited to continue these services with mukha spa. I can't recommend them enough and I am so glad to have them in Columbus and my life!
