at I am booked for June 1 by the manager (Jessica). However, after COUNTLESS attempts to discuss details by email, I was finally answered by owner (JENNA) one month later that the date was not booked with her?? Even though it was with the manager months ago?? Owner Jenna confirmed that the date was still available, and I second time over confirmed my June 1 date with owner Jenna. She said she would call me to discuss details - has not called, has not answered, voicemail box is full, has not responded to an additional months worth of follow up emails. I am currently at my wits end so I turned to reviews to see if they’ve had any new reviews since their transition to home catering instead of their event space. A Google review from a week ago confirms that the red flags and fears I have of them blowing us off are real (they no showed the event, woman had to rush order food for her entire event, they ghosted her). They obviously don’t have it together since this transition, but are unwilling to communicate that to customers that they’ve roped in. IMMENSE WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY, and probably MONEY!! Now I am left to scramble to find an on budget TEA PARTY THEMED caterer (since our entire theme was planned around booking MTH), and hope to god the hypothetical new tea themed caterer has the same date open, 3 weeks out from event. I doubt we find one. There is a point where it goes beyond bad business and it becomes just disappointingly unkind and inconsiderate treatment of other human beings (ie ghosting all communication when you are clearly are seeing it).
