Braemar is a lovely venue with a spectacular view. The event coordinators are fantastic! I had never planned a wedding before and even though it was a very small affair, Ronni and ...
Shai treated it as if it was the most important event they had. Their vendor recommendations were wonderful. They helped me every step of the way. I’m looking forward to having our next event at Braemar.
I had my wedding at the Braemar Country Club on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Carole Phillips coordinated the event. The wedding was even more amazing that what I had imagined. I looke...
d at a lot of venues in the valley, and I don't believe that I could have found a better place for the price. The view are unbeatable. The food, appetizers and bar selection was good. The staff even cut our cake as part of the package deal. Carole always replied promptly to my questions of which there were many. I highly recommend the Braemar Country Club for your special event.
Beautiful location and really great food! We had so many guests complement the ceremony site, ballroom and the amazing view. The backdrop for photos is fantastic too! What I real...
ly liked is we were able to stay until midnight, unlike many venues that close at 10pm.
From day 1 we worked with Rebecca at Braemar and she was so incredible helpful. Everything ran so smoothly the day of my wedding, I was able to just enjoy the day. And the price ...
was great! I had looked at many other country clubs and Braemar was the best value and included a lot of extras.
This is a gorgeous location...view is amazing..grrat for picures! Food is good was expecting a little more flavor..bit overall great staff and service.
Our event was booked with Rebecca Lazaro in Dec 2012. Over 4 months, she gave commendable service. But in Feb 2013, Rebecca abruptly told us she'd be leaving on vacation 2 weeks pr...
ior to our wedding and that our event would be coordinated by Joanne Rita.
We initiated a meeting with Joanne a week before the event. Joanne had little knowledge about any details. She had not read our timeline. She also appeared shocked we hadn't hired a coordinator, which Rebecca assured us wouldn't be necessary.
On the day of the event, the banquet captain and staff were utterly uninformed of our instructions. They didn't know which guests would receive which meal. They didn't know dessert would not be served at each table. Instead, the banquet captain repeatedly approached the bride & groom to ask about matters clearly addressed in the timeline.
One table did not receive salads/entrees until others were offered coffee service; in other words, one table was forgotten. Also, guests often had to locate pitchers of water to serve their own table out of a lack of attention from the servers.
The cake-cutting was neglected entirely. Upon discovering it was an hour past due, the bride went into the kitchen to locate the absent banquet captain, who replied “everything is running late and we didn’t know when to do it.”
Lastly, another wedding was being held in the adjacent room. Throughout our event, doors and partitions were left open by the staff. Because of their DJ music, many of our guests were unable to hear our toasts. Both the best man and the matron-of-honor speeches were overwhelmed by obnoxious rap music. Guests repeatedly had to get up to close the partitions/doors.
Had Rebecca or Joanne been more forthcoming, we would've hired a coordinator rather than be forced to handle these matters ourselves. Given the issues, inferior service, and the failure in communication between Joanne and Rebecca, we did not receive the product we'd believed we were purchasing.
Our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous!
our reception was also amazing!
i would recommend Braemar's for a venue
We made few changes up to the min to the wedding, they happily accommodated with each and every one including guest changes up to few hours prior to the wedding. We worked with Reb...
ecca awesome.
The place is very beautiful. The coordinator was always on top of things and answered my emails right away. Sometimes I would forget things and she would make sure I would remember...
. Very professional and everyone is willing to help and give advice. I believe the price was very fair as well.
The look of the place was so nice that decorations were not needed as much.
Braemar promised us that they wouldn't start construction until "way after our wedding," so when we went there two weeks before the wedding to show our Wedding Planner, we were sur...
prised to find construction everywhere!!! The worse part is that they weren't willing to work with us to make it better, so two weeks before the wedding, we had to change our location. Hopefully, after their renovations, they can step up the customer service. Good luck.
