I was blown away when I received an email stating that my $3,000 floral budget was "not a good fit" for them. I cannot tell you how offensive it is to receive a response back like ...
that when you are wedding planning. The thing is, I would have been willing to go up if I had needed to - I know nothing about flowers and was just looking for a starting point. Our conversation was only through email; they didn't even try to talk on the phone to see if we could work something out. I did the math (MBA and accounting undergrad...I can do simple math) and for what I was looking for, $3,000 was more than enough, just not enough for them to talk to me. I based my budget off of the prices listed on their website, and then added $600 to that estimate, just for wiggle room. When I told them I used THEIR estimates to come up with my budget, they said the prices online needed to be updated and "our webmaster holds the keys [to the website] and well…that’s a whole other conversation." The whole interaction was just unprofessional. If you're going to list prices online, make sure they are in the correct so people don't waste their time creating a budget off of fake numbers.
Nick and his team at Multiflor were out of this world! I certainly am not a flower expert by any means, so initially finding a florist and picking out flowers for our wedding was ...
a little intimidating. I knew the vision I was going for, but I didn't know where to start, nor did I have the expertise to translate that into a variety of flowers. After meeting with Nick just once, he was able to perfectly translate my vision for my wedding into the perfect, customized floral solution. His expertise and ability to translate words and pictures into reality are an incredibly unique skill. Nick also had no problem staying within my budget and never tried to sell anything extra making the process enjoyable and less stressful. The work of Nick and his team truly allowed for our day to have a cohesive, romantic yet modern feel and the flowers were beyond our highest expectations. We would, without a doubt, recommend Nick and his team at Multiflor for any event and we look forward to working with them in the future.
My flowers were beautiful. The only thing is we went with pink, and they used purple on brides flowers. But they were still very pretty.
I was so happy with Nick's work. He has amazing taste and really knew what I wanted.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Nick & MultiFlor. The flowers at my wedding were STUNNING! I contracted with Nick over a year out--between our first conversation and ou...
r second one nearly a year later, my thoughts about the flowers had changed drastically. Regardless, Nick was very cooperative, full of ideas and so helpful. Day-of, the flowers were amazingly stunning--I actually have received the most compliments about the flowers out of all the things at the wedding. Work with Nick--you will not regret it. Best in DC!!!
I love Nicks work. He was recommended to me by the coordinator at the St. Regis, because he does all of their in house arrangements. After reading reviews and seeing his work there...
, I had to use him. I had a small floral budget, around $2,000 and he gave me exactly what I wanted, had pictured in my head, and better than I could've imagined! I couldn't believe I could get these amazingly gorgeous 5ft center pieces, all the bouquets, boutineers, flowers on the cake, the ceremony flowers, decor, Beautiful aisle runner, candles, etc. for that price in this area. I didnt have to compromise on anything I wanted, Nick was able to give me everything I asked for within my budget. I would not use another florist ever! There were no mistakes, everything was as promised and better. The orchids were beautiful, the callas were better than I could've thought. I still love looking at the pictures of all of the work Nick and his team did. It would be a mistake to use anyone else. They were also very flexible and accommodating for me.
