Mums the Word Floral Shoppe

erpieces were absolutely beautiful and the total florals cost was so reasonable!

there is to know about flowers and offers very unique options. She was very reasonably priced and my flowers turned out stunning! I went to meet her in the shop the day before the event and she was just as lovely and sparkly as she was over the phone. She made me the flower arrangements of my dreams. This florist has my highest recommendation!

we were covered from all angles. She knew many of our vendors and had worked with them before. When we told them we chose Mums the Word as our florist, they all said how great and easy to work with she. The bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements turned out amazing and we couldn't have been happier with the experience.

e who didn't know much about flowers at the time and just came in with an idea she completely ran with it and went above and beyond. She is the absolute sweetest and so easy to work with. Not to mention the flowers day of the wedding were absolutely stunning.

uets and boutonnieres for everybody in the wedding party and they were beautiful!

uld like the best - I felt like she was able to truly see my vision and fill in the blanks effortlessly. I could tell from our first consultation that I would be in good hands. She provided me with a mock bouquet to take with me to my final dress fitting to be able to get and idea of the full look for the day of the wedding and make any little tweaks before the big day. I was so appreciative of her responsiveness and can-do attitude. She provided lovely florals for my bridal shower that gave me a glimpse of what the wedding day would look like. The day of the wedding, all of the florals were so beautiful and my bouquet was exactly what I had envisioned. We had discussed putting succulents in my bouquet, something that is not a usual bridal flower, and Maria even took extra care to select succulents with pink accenting on them to accentuate the pops of blush pink in my mostly white flower/greenery bouquet. This is the type of service you will get with an experienced florist who will treat you like her friend rather than just a customer. Overall, my experience with Maria and her team was amazing, and I definitely recommend her services for all floral occasions!

us like family and provided us with exceptional services and made our look come to life the day of the Wedding ! Maria and her staff work their magic for you as if your their only Wedding ! They also know a lot of vendors and have great relationships with them , which is a plus! No matter , what you can’t do wrong with Mums the Word ! Rachel & Karyn

s flowers better than anyone I have ever met before. She was knowledgeable, told us to look up specific flowers, and explained everything we needed to know when it came to the flowers in my bouquet. Maria would call and talk with me every few months leading up to my event. Maria was always supportive, kind, and truly the easiest to work with. She made my bridal bouquet a dream come true, making it above and beyond what I could of pictured. Maria also gave me a trial bouquet for before my second dress fitting, I was Able to visualize the what I would look like on my wedding day. Not only were our flowers beautiful, but working with someone with such a kind heart is truly what made this experience better than any I could have imagined. I will always recommend Maria & Mums the Word to anyone who needs a florist.

... she was extremely patient and listened to exactly what I wanted ... she even created a quick "mock" centerpiece and so I could visually see what it would look like. Maria was very reasonable priced and the flowers the day of the wedding were stunning and looked exactly how I wanted them to look ... so beautiful! Thank you to Maria and her team for bringing our vision to life for our dream wedding!

.

very way. Maria is truly a designer. She worked with me to ensure that I was happy the whole way. Maria is an expert in florals, making the process smooth and enjoyable. I could not recommend them enough!

ving her say her opinion was so helpful as she is an expert and knows what she is talking about. On top of the excellent service, the pricing was below what I expected so it was a win win!!

g and no unnecessary, hidden fees. I received a handful of florist quotes and Mums the Word was the most affordable, being about 3x LESS than other quotes I was receiving. And this is because Maria treats you like family and never steers you wrong. My flowers were so beautiful and exactly what I envisioned on my wedding day. If you are like I was and getting distraught about your flower budget, give Maria a call! I promise you won’t regret it, she has so many options for every budget.

utiful than I could have ever imagined. Maria also provided us with ideas, reassurance, & validation during months of planning. She quickly (and successfully) adapted plans when the rain pushed our outside ceremony inside; she went out of her way to communicate with my venue throughout the whole process; she worked with us by explaining all of the florals and how to budget them from beginning to end. Maria’s expertise as a florist is evident (and awesome) but what stands out to me is that Maria has the kindest soul and truly guided us to the magic that was our special day. She was available to us whenever we needed her and was full of insight that extended well beyond the flower world. The way she treats people brings so much grace and warmth into the room. I am a BIG fan of Mums the Word and will be using them for everything floral forever. If you are looking for a sign, this is it!!! You need Maria & her team at your wedding! 🤍

y do, and it translates into the final product you receive on your wedding day. Maria will tell you her job is to have the flowers enhance you and your partner, not overshadow you. Getting some guest pictures in today you can see she did just that. We wanted a colorful spring vibe and her and her team delivered above and beyond what I could have hoped for. Maria and her team are incredibly professional, communicative and kind. They are everything and more that you could want in your florist!

he first person I called to reserve our date and I'm so thankful she was available. She takes the time to truly listen to what you would like and will make sure it is perfect for your wedding day. One thing that was really nice was she gave me a mock bouquet during the second bridal fitting to make sure I loved it. There was a few changes that we made and for the wedding, it was absolutely perfect. On the day of the wedding, everything was clearly labeled for each bridal party member and everything from the flowers on the cake to the ceremony space to the bouquets were absolutely beautiful. There is no one else I would've wanted for flowers besides Maria. I can't thank them enough for all they did to make my wedding beautiful.

g every step of the way. Maria knows exactly what she's talking about and took my vague vision and turned it into everything I wanted and more. If you are getting married, I highly recommend Maria and Mum's the Word!

uet ahead of time so that the bride could see how it would look. My daughter wanted a few small changes to the final design, and Maria was happy to accommodate. The final bouquet and the centerpieces were exactly what the bride envisioned. The tables looked beautiful, and my daughter's bouquet was lovely.

aria makes you feel like her only client and she honestly puts her whole heart into your event. I would eight million out of 5 recommend.

uine person who wants your wedding day to be beautiful. She stayed within my budget, had an eye for design, and did an amazing job creating floral decor and arrangements that coincided with our theme. At times our consults felt more like a therapy venting session because of how much she cares. Maria and her time at Mums the Word is a vendor you want to have in your corner!

e are so happy to have worked with Mums the Word for our wedding and we would suggest them to anyone who is looking for a florist for any celebration. We know we'll be going back to Maria for any of our floral needs!

y enough about her and her team. I lost count of how many people complimented our flowers, cake, and alter backdrop, even after the wedding. Anyone in the South Jersey or Philadelphia are would be crazy not to use Mums the Word.

Her expertise is unmatched, resulting in the most beautiful bouquets, arrangements, and details for our wedding day. It was so easy to trust their team to bring my vision to life! I will always remember my bridesmaids’ reactions when they saw their flowers for the first time! Not only is the team super talented, but they are also some of the kindest people you will ever work with, being extremely flexible and accommodating every step of the way. Overall, Mum’s The Word provided us with the most amazing experience and was the greatest pleasure to work with.

th. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She truly brought my floral vision to life. My wedding flowers were absolutely beautiful and I was obsessed with everything Maria and her team did on my wedding day. I could not have been happier and will use her again for any of my floral needs!

ve me everything I wanted within my budget. I thought it was so helpful how she made sure to create a mock bouquet for me to bring to my last dress fitting! Maria is the best and she brought my winter vision to life! Love her to bits!!

r vision come to life! Not only is she so incredibly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with, but is also just a great person! Due to covid, we had to change our wedding date several times. Each time, Maria was so accommodating and willing to work with us. We received so many compliments on how beautiful all of our flowers were. We are forever grateful to Mums the Word for helping us to create the beautiful wedding day we have always dreamed of! I would highly recommend!!

flexibility made what could have been a stressful time easy. Maria was able to completely match my vision. Her knowledge of her field enabled her to make various suggestions based on what I described to help us narrow the focus while still creating what felt like an eclectic and unique feel. She asked thoughtful questions to help get to understand us and our vision which included sharing photos of dresses and outfits to understand our style. We wanted a series of small centerpieces rather than one large one and Maria was able to help give each table a unique style with elements that tied the tables together. It was like she took what was in my head and brought it to life. The arch that was created for our outdoor part of the ceremony helped frame our photos wonderfully. Additionally I love that as the bride and groom we selected different flowers to create a clear distinction from the rest of the bridal party that tied to the overall view. It was a pleasure to work with Marie and I appreciated that fact that she made the whole process seem simple and easy, despite having planned not one but two weddings without was wedding planner in the middle of a global pandemic.

nd made my flower dreams come true. Maria and the team went above and beyond to make our day special. The flowers were stunning and we are still getting compliments about them. One of my favorite things was that she offers a bouquet and center piece trial to make sure she understands your vision, both of mine were PERFECT. She will then meet with you several times to go over everything to make sure she has all your notes and make any changes if needed. Maria truly makes you feel like family during the entire process and has become a dear friend to my family. I have and will continue to recommend Mums the word to everyone. They are the best!

ul job on everything she touched. I also think she was very fairly priced. She even helped set up my other decor that was placed around the flowers. I'll be calling her again for my next fancy event.

understanding and knowledgeable. Maria worked with our budget and made all our floral dreams come true while not breaking our bank accounts. Maria was always easy to get in touch with and told you exactly what needed to be done. She went over everything multiple times to ensure everything was exactly what we imagined. I am forever grateful. The day of, our flowers were beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. Maria, thank you so much for everything the past two years!

a emailed us a detailed document of everything we discussed and was such a great communicator and so organized throughout the entire planning process. We had to postpone our 2020 wedding but still did a small backyard ceremony, and Maria helped make it look beautiful! We had our big reception in 2021 and were blown away by everything Maria and her team did. They did an incredible job putting the centerpieces and ceremony flowers together so we didn't have to lift a finger. We couldn't have been happier with Mum's the Word and would highly recommend them!

“got” me. She is so friendly, upbeat, and fun! Each time I would change my time she was positive, and understood what I wanted! Everyone just loved her work. I am still in awe of how pretty everything was. It was just perfect!

both of us (Mom and bride) with respect and listened carefully, writing everything down. Then she gave us a timeline as to when we needed to come in for a mock bouquet, the due dates for payments, and she asked for a picture of the dress (both Mom and the bride's) so she could make sure she created the perfect corsage/bouquet for us. She pulled out flowers to show us what she could create. She saved us money by having us buy lanterns/candles at Ikea so there was no middle man. She was honest about how much we would need for our venue. She did not oversell. She knew all our vendors and our venue so we felt very comfortable that everything would be timed/coordinated well. On the day of the wedding she was there on time. She made us feel like Princesses. She explained everything and had all corsages, wristlets, wands, bouquets labeled with the recipients name. The centerpieces were amazing. They were full, substantial arrangements with lanterns and mason jars with fairy lights. She made the fireplace look inviting and elegant. Rose petals were everywhere. The fireplace had a beautiful vine with fairy lights and white roses. She decorated the cake in the most elegant and beautiful way - just enough, but not too much to take away from the cake itself. Every contact I had with her was positive, warm, professional and friendly. She made us feel like family. I would recommend her and her staff highly, and will use her for any future event.

able to convey what I wanted for our wedding. It was like Maria could read my mind! Our flowers were even better than I imagined. Not to mention, Maria is so easy to talk to. She knows so much about the wedding industry and will give you advice on more than just florals. She is so down to earth, funny, and thorough. We had to postpone our wedding because of covid and Maria was with us every step of the way! She always asked about my daughter too, which shows how much she cares. She makes you feel really heard and loved! I can’t recommend her enough!

ing her!

ed to provide a few ideas and she created exactly what I was envisioning for my wedding flowers. Plus, she allows you to see a "preview" bouquet and bring it to your dress fitting so that you can have a "bridal moment" before your big day! Her work is absolutely gorgeous and she is so flexible and detail-oriented throughout the planning process. We loved working with her so much that she is now our go-to florist. Highly recommend!

y. She even recommended lower cost options to create the vision I wanted within my budget. I would recommend going to Mums for all your floral needs!

s and ideas and a lot of fun to work with. My bridal bouquet was absolutely stunning and exactly what I was picturing. The bridesmaids bouquets and centerpieces were perfect - she has a knack for hearing what you're picturing and bringing it to life. The delivery and arrangement were seamless and throughout the process, she was transparent about pricing and our order -- which is important when planning a wedding. We'd work with her again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much! Danielle and Adam

. She listened to my vision and helped bring it to life perfectly!! Everyone commented on how great the flowers and centerpieces looked.

e best combination of flowers to make my vision come to life. She was constantly in contact with me to make sure nothing changed with my plans. All my flowers looked amazing and the candle centerpieces with the rose pedals surrounding them were beautiful.
