Murphy Hall is a modern facility with rustic architecture. It's in a beautiful and scenic setting overlooking the Potomac River. The hall is ideal for groups holding banquets, ceremonies, classes, meetings, receptions, retreats, reunions, shows, social gatherings or weddings. It accommodates up to 72 people comfortably in a seated arrangement but can accommodate up to 100 people depending on event's purpose. Westmoreland is conveniently located within two hours of Washington, D.C., Annapolis and Baltimore, Md., and Richmond, Va.

Westmoreland is very hands-off in terms of help you'll receive, but that's just the way we like it. Beautiful ceilings, kind park rangers, incredible view. Very worth it!

as on a Saturday, it was perfect! We had the ceremony at the back of the visitor center. It had the most amazing view of the potomac river! We also had our photos taken on the beach. The place has about everything! We even saw shooting stars on the night of our wedding. Best day ever!!!
