We sent over a list of song requests a few weeks before the wedding, and Tom was completely on board — no hesitation, no stress. Unity was engaging, upbeat, and fun, and we are so grateful for their help making our wedding such a great party.

MC/DJ and sound system for our ceremony. Lizary Rodriguez set the tone for the evening with flawless pieces that matched exactly what I asked for and envisioned. Not only was she professional and extraordinarily talented, but she also quickly learned a (difficult) piece that I had requested she learn for my bridal entrance. It was more magical than I could have imagined, and really contributed to the aura of our ceremony. The acoustics at our outdoor ceremony were the perfect volume as well, and you can tell Lizary has incredible experience. Dakeya was an important part of our wedding as well! My older sister got married in 2022 and hired Dakeya as her DJ. Everyone was dancing the whole night to amazing music, and I knew I would be lucky to have him at our wedding too. I was so happy when I discovered he was available on our day! He is personable, keeps a pulse on the crowd, and really "gets it." Beyond just MC-ing and DJ-ing, we turned to Dakeya to help with ceremony acoustics as well. We had a backyard wedding of 130 people, so we needed microphones, amps, etc. for our ceremony. Dakeya set everything up without a second of hesitation and it was perfect. Music is something that is very important to me, so I was very intentional about working with Murray Hill Talent. Not to mention all of our guests continued to rave about both Lizary and Dakeya! They are both true professionals (as well as everyone I communicated with at Murray Hill Talent like Scott), and anyone who books either of them is in the best of hands. Brendan was very easy to communicate with and let us give our input, but for the most part, we trusted him and his expertise to bring our vision to life. On the day of the wedding everything went smoothly and our guests had a great time and were dancing all night. Overall he did a great job and we couldn’t be happier.

We had a call with him about two weeks before our wedding and reviewed overall what our likes and dislikes were for our setlist direction and I was amazed at how well they crafted it to meet what we wanted while still delivering happy surprises along the way. My parents 35th anniversary is this year, so they even learned my parents wedding song to surprise them half way through their first set at the reception. 10/10 recommend them - they will plan your entire ceremony, cocktail hour and entrances to a T, leaving you will full confidence, no stress, just enjoying your day. We made the decision the day of the wedding to have the ceremony outside and he was flexible and ready! When it came time to dance, I don’t think we left the dance floor all night. David Landeta was our DJ for our reception and he CRUSHED it! he band also has a very impressive song list, which allowed us to tailor the music to our taste how we wanted. They also offer learning a few songs for the wedding, which is comforting. Prior to the wedding, Corin gave us multiple opportunities to go see him and the band play. They are local to the Boston area and do many gigs so if you want to see the band, you have opportunities. I went to three of his gigs before our wedding came along and was totally confident in the band, which was comforting. Now the good stuff - the wedding. The band sounds CLEAN. A lot of times a band will sound “a little off” and your not sure why. Well, that is usually because the members of the band are all slightly out of time with each other. This is not Flipside. They show their decades experience by playing songs exactly in time, making all the music sound extremely clean and just like the ones themselves. Then we get to the vocals.. those lead singers can recreate any song perfectly. I had to turn around a few times because it literally sounded like the studio version of the song. Their stage presence was entertaining and they made our night very special. We can’t recommend Flipside enough.
