We are so glad we went with Murray Hill Talent, specifically with Scott Arrington. All of our guests complimented the music. Scott did a GREAT job of mixing all of our desired genres. He even was so gracious when we decided to karaoke to some Abba. Great entertainment was a goal of mine for the wedding and that is exactly what we got. Thank you Scott!!!

Scott from Murray Hill was the DJ for our wedding. He was super accommodating for all our requests, as well as our venues (even the night of.. when our 9 year old niece begged to sing, he found a karaoke track to play, no problem). The music was a perfect mix and everyone had a blast dancing the entire night. He followed our requests, offered some suggestions during our meeting beforehand, and was in tune with the vibes the whole night. He was professional and not overly performative, exactly what we wanted in a DJ. Thanks, Scott!!

Our DJ Scott was amazing throughout the night. He kept the dance floor packed and played hit after hit for all of the generations present. Many people told me they had a hard time leaving the floor because each time they tried, another good song would come on. Scott also did a great job mixing songs to keep people engaged! His energy was spot on! There were a few issues though. First, I wanted a specific song and wanted to enter at a specific point in the song. In our final meeting, Scott told me he knew exactly what song I wanted and would play it in time with my entrance. Unfortunately, it was the wrong version. No big deal, it was still the song and I barely remember it, The second issue was that my name was mispronounced all night. Now, this could be on my husband and I as well seeing as we did not say anything the first time, but still was annoying to enter the wedding with the wrong name. All in all, Scott was wonderful aside from a few blips!

Our DJ Scott was amazing throughout the entire process. He was so friendly, professional and quick to answer emails. Our dance floor was full the entire night. We have received so many compliments on our music. Thank you Scott for the most memorable night!

The music was a really important focal point for us at our wedding, and we had a specific vibe and genre we wanted to focus on. Our DJ, Niko absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed the whole time, with older relatives, little kids and everyone in between. We will never forget how much fun we had on the dance floor at our wedding. We recently hired Murray Hill Talent for our wedding in May 2023 at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester. We had infinity strings perform for our ceremony/cocktail hour and then had Scott as our DJ for the reception. Everyone was so professional and easy to work with. The string music was beautiful and Scott had literally all of our guests on the dance floor all night. We told him we wanted a party and he delivered! Would recommend this company, they were great.

DJ Dakeya Christmas was professional, warm, and very receptive to our music requests/preferences. He was very clearly experienced in sensing the mood of the audience and getting our guests out of their seats and onto the dance floor during the reception. He was a joy to work with!

We were thrilled to have Dakeya Christmas as our DJ through Murray Hill Talent! We had a fusion Pakistani wedding in June 2022. We searched for a very long time for the perfect DJ, and wanted someone who would play music that would keep our guests dancing and the dancefloor full all night long. Dakeya not only met our expectations, he blew them out of the water! From the beginning, Dakeya was available to answer our questions and walk us through the process. He made it easy by letting us share Spotify playlists for our various wedding events. We had separate playlists and musical vibes for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Dakeya executed the music for each event perfectly. Dakeya was also an excellent emcee! It was very important to us that we had an energetic atmosphere for our reception. So, most importantly, Dakeya took my suggested playlist and curated the perfect mix for our dancefloor. He played hit after hit, and people stayed dancing all night. We had several people compliment us on our DJ selection. Many guests remarked months after the wedding how much they had enjoyed dancing at our wedding. And other friends getting married asked which DJ we used. Thank you, to Dakeya and Murray Hill for your hard work, incredible talent and emphasis on customer service! Dakeya is a true professional and highly-skilled at what he does! We highly recommend him and choosing Dakeya as our DJ remains one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

He was amazing on the wedding night and all of our guests raved about how excellent the music was. I would recommend Scott for any wedding where guests love to dance!

A family friend who used to work weddings highly recommended Murray Hill Talent to us. We spoke to a few of their DJs, and every single one was responsive and professional. At our wedding, Brendan was incredible! He kept everyone dancing, even across multiple generations of guests. He was wonderfully calm and easy to work with, both leading up to the wedding and day-of. We really appreciated how organized he was, and how helpful he was walking us through all the decisions around introductions, announcements, and dances.

We found Murray Hill Talent through our venue, Regatta Place, and we are so grateful that we did. Knowing that we were looking for a band, they had some great selections to choose from and we ended up going with Redline - which are the absolute best of the best! First of all, one of their lead singers Ellie is a true powerhouse of vocals, fun, and could keep the party going! Cory in the main office, and Corin the band leader helped immensely with organization, timeline for the evening, and keeping it all running smoothly. The whole Redline band was absolutely incredible and we got some many compliments from our guests on how great they were! Thank you to all of the band members for a fabulous wedding party!

We worked with Brian D for our wedding back in October 2022. We had an incredible evening filled with all the music we wanted to hear! Brian kept the night on schedule and even a little ahead which gave us more time for dancing. We highly recommend working with this company, their communication was amazing throughout the whole process and we had a few phone calls with our DJ beforehand to discuss our music and lighting preferences.

Dakeya was amazing!! From the moment we first talked on the phone with Dakeya, we knew he was the perfect fit for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, he was always available if we had questions. He thoughtfully listened to what we were hoping for in terms of music and overall feel for the night. He did an absolutely incredible job from the ceremony to dancing. We booked Scott Arrington with Murray Hill as the DJ for our wedding and decided to add Tom Pendergast as a guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Both did an amazing job. Tom took our requests for the ceremony music and kept the cocktail hour fun. Scott did an amazing job for the rest of the night. He shared an easy form for us to fill out ahead with dos and donts for our wedding. He took all of our requests and created a similar vibe for the rest of the songs. We got so many compliments on how great he was, knowing when and how to get everyone up and dancing. He was so easy to work with and helped make our wedding exactly what we pictured. We hired Murray Hill Talent (specifically Brian) for our wedding and at State Room in Boston and he was amazing. Cory, the owner was great to work with and gave us information on their different DJs. We were able to set up phone calls to meet the ones we selected, but we spoke to Brian and immediately knew he was the right fit. He kept our guests dancing the entire night and we had so many comments about how much fun everyone had and how many people (across all generations) were on the dance floor. We had several pre-wedding meetings that allowed the day of to be completely stress-free. Julio was our DJ for our wedding and he was awesome! He was easy to work with and made the night a ton of fun!

We hired Murray Hill for our entertainment at our wedding. They helped connect us with Brian Delac as our DJ. The MH team as well as Brian were all very friendly, responsive, and professional. Brian arranged multiple phone calls with us as well as providing us with surveys so we could share exactly what we wanted for our DJ/music. On the day, everything went extremely smooth with our music. Brian was great and guests even commented on his friendly demeanor and professionalism.

We absolutely LOVED working with Brendan for our wedding! He was incredibly professional, experienced, and knew how to bring a great party effortlessly. Murray Hill was among a short list of vendors recommended to us by our venue. We looked through their list of DJs and ended up meeting a couple, eventually deciding to go with Felix Herbst. Felix was amazing to work with, and we were so thrilled with how everything ended up. From our first meeting, it felt like he really listened to us and what we wanted (and importantly, what we didn't want) and his goal and priority was to make us happy. Other DJs we talked to were so focused on the party, but we wanted a more laid-back tone and Felix totally got that. From the violin played for the processional, to the music during the cocktail hour and reception, and including the dancing portion, the music was always fun but never over the top or too loud. Felix was respectful of our request to keep the volume slightly lower, both so we could enjoy talking to our guests and also to accommodate some guests with sensory issues. He did the perfect amount of emceeing, keeping guests aware of what was going on and guiding the party along, but never felt like he took over or was trying to be the center of the party. He made us different versions of our first dance song to choose from, worked with us to create the perfect cut of our entrance song, and was always so responsive and easy to work with. He even checked in with us a few times during the wedding to make sure we were happy and ask if we wanted to hear anything specific. We absolutely loved working with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ!

Murray Hill Talent is an absolutely amazing band/DJ company. Corin was able to make our vision of part live music / part DJ come to life perfectly, and the music (and uplighting!) was perfect for our event. We had a violinst, guitarist, and saxaphonist throughout the day and Brian was our DJ for the full event. We completed forms of what songs we wanted when but then Brian called us to make sure everything was right and we were on the same page ahead of the big day. During our event, he read the room perfectly and played the perfect music that kept people dancing right until we had to stop. We had a mixup with announcements (bridal party went to seats instead of waiting to be announced) and Brian adjusted on the fly and made it perfect. Murray Hill Talent can truly make your music/lighting vision come true, and they helped make our wedding perfect!

Book Brian for your wedding ASAP. He DJ'd our reception on April 2nd, 2022 and he is largely to thank for the most fun night of my life. He was SO invested in playing the music we wanted in the lead-up to the wedding, we sent him a list of hundreds of suggestions and he did an amazing job of using tons of our picks plus adding some of his own to make sure the music appealed to all our guests. The dance floor was packed from 9:30-1am and people are still talking about how fun it was weeks later. We couldn't be happier our planner Katydyd Events recommended Brian and would definitely recommend him!

Murray Hill Talent is a must have! We had "Flipside" the band for our wedding and they were amazing! Corin was our point of contact, he was the best... extremely helpful, honest and so talented! We also had them perform at our ceremony & cocktail hour! Everyone enjoyed the music and was on their feet!

We used Bob as a pianist during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We requested a few specific Queen songs for our ceremony and Bob had no issue learning the music. We had our ceremony outside and he had no problem working with our DJs and setting up an eletronic keyboard. For the cocktail hour we requested some Jazz music, and his music was delightful. Overall, Bob was very easy to work with, flexible, and accomodating to our requests. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone for their wedding!

Our wedding dance party was very important to us and DJ Brian Delac lit it up more than we could have ever expected! He took time to talk to us about our music tastes (which are a wide range from Whitney, Sinatra, and EDM) and somehow he got it just right and kept the party going catering to ALL of our wedding guests! Scott Arrington did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music for our recent wedding. We were able to talk with him prior to booking to give him our music vibe and confirm that he would be a good fit. A few weeks before the wedding we were able to submit all of our song requests and we confirmed all of the requests in a phone call a week before the wedding. He included every single request and completely followed our vibe of music. He chose additional songs that played to the crowd and kept people singing and dancing. All of our guests commented on how much they loved the music and how much fun they had. He was very professional and organized and helped us to have a stress free wedding day. Overall would definitely recommend Murray Hill Talent and especially Scott Arrington!

We hired Zeke Stern for our wedding and I cannot recommend him enough. A wedding DJ can truly make or break the reception. A bad DJ can ruin everything. But with Zeke, the morning after everyone raved about how awesome our DJ was. We had very specific, detailed instructions for our music because we wanted to avoid the possibility that our reception would not be a non-stop dance party. Many of friends warned that they had also done this, but the day of, the DJ went rogue and completely ignored the instructions. But Zeke isn't like other DJs - he's there to serve his clients and give them what they want. We did not want a boisterous DJ who was going to make the reception his own concert or show. Zeke respected our wishes and absolutely KILLED IT. Even when our reception went off schedule a bit, Zeke read the room and knew which songs to play to keep the party going. That combination of taking instructions well and also having good intuition and judgment is rare, and it is such an important skillset to have to be a good wedding DJ. Zeke was also so easy to work with - extremely kind and very calm. I cannot recommend him enough.

Scott was AMAZING! I honestly cannot say enough good things; everyone of all ages had a total blast at our wedding. He completely listened to all of our “must play”/ “do not play” requests and he chose an awesome playlist of music that kept people on the dance floor all night - truly perfect! I don’t think there was a single song that made people want to sit down. We spoke with Scott the week of our wedding to go over everything and he was super detail oriented. He made sure he pronounced everyone’s names correctly, took the time to listen to our preferences and made us feel so comfortable. He has a great personality and was beyond easy to work with. If you are considering Scott, don’t give it a second thought. My husband and I agreed that he could not have done any better and should we need a DJ again in the future, we know where to look. Thank you Scott for making our night SO much fun!

Thank you to DJ Felix Herbst for everything he did for our wedding! Our original DJ had to back out last minute due to a medical emergency, but he connected us to Cory at Murray Hill Talent who quickly set us up with Felix who did an amazing job at our wedding. Felix kept things running smoothly and made appropriate announcements and intros, but he was never cheesy or annoying like some other wedding DJs! His music selections were perfect and totally got the vibe we were going for. He also accommodated all of our weird and very specific requests. Felix was just great, and we loved working with him! He made an already special day even more special. :-)

Coordinated everything so smoothly. Our wedding went off without a single issue. The team was always extremely professional and timely in their responses, particularly during COVID with changing circumstances. Very impressed

Planning the DJ was by far the EASIEST part of our wedding thanks to Murray Hill Talent. Paul provided several highly qualified DJs for us to interview. We chose Felix to be our DJ (and ceremony/cocktail hour violinist!) and could not have been any happier. What a talented and organized person! Our guests could not stop commenting on how much they enjoyed the DJ/Violinist. Both Paul and Felix were incredibly responsive and flexible. Felix setup several phone calls to review our music selection and sent us samples to listen to and to practice timing. If we could give 6 stars we would.

Murray Hill was so great to work with! Through them we hired Chris to sing and play guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and then Dakeya to DJ for the reception. Unfortunately we only really got to hear Chris during the ceremony because we took photos during cocktail hour, but I loved what I did hear and he was so talented that I wish we could’ve listened to him for hours. We spend more time with Dakeya and we also highly recommend him! He was SO friendly and did a great job playing a variety of music and also getting people out on the dance floor. He also was attentive to playing requests, and simultaneously kindly turning down the requests that we had on our “do not play” list, haha. Great day overall!!

Zeke was our wedding DJ and he was wonderful! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He made sure to reach out to us a few days before the wedding to ensure he had all the pronunciations correct and make sure he was able to uphold all of our requests. Zeke delivered far beyond our expectations. The DJ is such a big part of the wedding reception and we could not have been happier to have chosen Zeke to play such a big role in our day. We would definitely recommend him for any of your events!

We couldn't have been happier with Murray Hill! We worked with Tom Pendergast to secure the band Search Party for our wedding and he was extremely kind and easy to work with. We also had Tom play acoustic guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was absolutely amazing! He played all of our requested ceremony songs and completely knocked them out of the park. We also can't recommend Search Party enough. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night and every person in the band is incredibly talented. Everyone couldn't stop raving about how talented and fun they were.

Murray Hill was great to work with! We had DJ Brian Delac and he did an amazing job. We had people out on the dance floor all night long. We had a wide range of age in our guest list and he made sure there was something for everyone. I especially appreciated that he just focused on playing the music and never really interrupted the flow of the night with speaking over songs. He perfectly understood the vibe we were going for with the dinner music playlist and then dancing.

I cannot say enough good things about Murray Hill talent. I had Eastern Standard at my ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ Scott Arrington for my reception. All my guests were raving about both! They listened to exactly what I wanted through only a few phone calls and emails and nailed it! Eastern standard did such a good job at the beginning of the day and Scott absolutely killed it at the reception. He kept everyone from every age group dancing all night. I didn’t leave the dance floor once! I could not be more grateful for their hard work (even though they made it look so easy!). You must use them for your next event, it’s a no brainer! We had to reschedule and relocate our wedding multiple times and they were more than accommodating to make sure our special day included some musical talent. Where do I begin!!! If you are considering a band for your wedding, BOOK them now! My husband and I were originally supposed to get married July 17th 2020 with 275 people and due to Covid... that didn't happen. We originally hired Murray Hill Talent for a 10 piece band and we were really nervous when we realized our dream wedding wasn't going to happen but also that we were going to potentially loose thousands in deposits. After planning what felt like 10 backup plans, we decided to move forward and get married with immediate family + bridal party in on a sailboat August 15th 2020. We reached out to Murray Hill to see if we could use our deposit to hire a person for ceremony/reception and they truly went above and beyond to help us out. Corin was AMAZING!!! Not only did he make me feel completely at ease about the whole process, but he also let me know he would handle all the music selections if I was feeling overwhelmed (which I was). Because we were getting married on a sailboat, he suggested I come out to "Here comes the sun" since there wasn't an aisle for me to walk down... which was PERFECT! Overall, the music selection was incredible. Not only did he play all the classics but he even mixed in some Aviciiwhich was an amazing surprise (our favorite). I can't say enough great things about my experience with Corin/Marnie and the Murray Hill Team!

Scott Arrington was the DJ for our 12/28 wedding and everything went perfectly. He instantly understood the type of music and night we were looking to have and we didn't have to worry about the music selection for one second. He was professional and the dance floor was packed the whole night. We are very grateful that we chose Murray Hill Talent and would highly recommend!

Scott was the DJ at our wedding on 12/21 and I can’t recommend him enough. He was wonderful about checking in with us to find out our music preferences and we really feel like he listened and incorporated our requests and preferences into his music selection. Scott arrived exactly when he said he would, and was set up in plenty of time for the wedding to start. He was very professional throughout our entire experience with him. The dance floor was full all night, and everyone (including us) had so much fun! People keep telling us our wedding was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I think that has a lot to do with Scott’s DJing! If you want to make sure your guests dance all night, hire Scott as your DJ!

Brian Delac was our DJ and he was absolutely excellent. He was super easy to work with leading up to the wedding and we felt totally comfortable with him from our first meeting. Brian played excellent music during both dinner and dancing. We have heard from so many guests how much they loved the music as well as how professional Brian was - not self-promoting, and contributing rather than detracting from the energy of the evening. It sounds like he handled requests well too, and even humored us with one more song at the end of the night. We (and our guests) highly recommend Brian!

Dakeya was incredible, really engaged and was able to read the room and play music that kept up the energy all night! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a collaborative and easy DJ to work with.

We had Scott Arrington DJ both our ceremony & reception, and he was *outstanding*. In planning conversations he was articulate and professional. We felt he immediately formed a good sense for what we wanted, and he certainly had. The ceremony went beautifully: he had our officiant mic'ed up and the processional & recessional music was on cue. Cocktail hour and dinner music was at a perfect volume and on theme (we'd asked for New Orleans style brass band music for cocktails and guests loved the selections). When the dancing started, Scott kept it going for hours. He integrated our selections into a mix of other great tracks and kept the energy at just the right level the whole night. We had an amazing time on the dance floor and highly recommend Scott!

Brian Delac did a FANTASTIC job and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! We gave him a list of our favorite genres and some songs and he created the best playlist. We also gave him a do not play list which he did adhere to as well. He read the crowd well and kept the night moving seamlessly. Brian makes sure every detail is covered in the initial phone call and even made some last minute adjustments for us. He did an excellent job!

My wife and I were lucky enough to have DJ Scott Arrington from Murray Hill Talent. From the first phone conversation we had with Scott we both felt he would be great. He was professional, knowledgable and he was extremely easy to talk to. He was understanding and accepting to all of our requests and had all the right questions for us that we didn't even think to ask. The wedding was no different. He was perfect!

We hired Scott Arrington for our wedding as he ran the PA for our ceremony and DJ'ed the reception. We could not be happier with our experience. I am pretty particular about thing but I am BEYOND happy with the services by Zeke and Tom. Tom played the perfect ceremony music as well as cocktail hour. He just knew everyone’s vibe. And Zeke outdid himself at the reception. He knew we wanted short first dance songs and we’ll ask the parent songs. He picked up on everyone’s vibe, and I never had to tell him what to play. We had ages from 8-83 and not one person complained about the music. Both were TRULY AMAZING! Do not hesitate to book them. They are quick to respond, and extremely easy to work with. Zeke from Murray Hill DJ'd our wedding reception and he was exceptional. We highly recommend! He was professional and talented. He kept the dance floor more than packed for four hours - our guests are still talking about it! I can't think of a single moment where I thought, "oh I hope he'll play this song" because he was so on top of it. We gave a short list of songs we love, but ultimately asked for music that would span generations and people could sing to. He nailed it! Our introductions were fun without being over the top and Zeke was always punctual and organized. Thank you!

Thanks to our DJ, Trey, and Murray Hill talent, everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor all night long. Cory was great booking Trey and even a photobooth. Very responsive and professional. I used Murray Hill Talent for my wedding DJ, and was beyond happy. We ended up going with Zeke who was AMAZING. From the initial planning/prepping and the ease of working with Murray Hill, getting options of DJs, selecting Zeke, then working with Zeke, it was all so easy. I was being a little bridezilla b/c music can make or break a wedding... and had a million questions and notes for Zeke. I was coordinating a ceremony ukulele player, but wanted a certain song for the aisle walk, needed assistance with a family member playing during reception, needing coordination on a few other logistical things, and Zeke just figured it all out. Then at the wedding itself, it went so smoothly, and I received SO MANY compliments on how he was playing "hit after hit".. The dance floor filled up way earlier than intended, and stayed full. He took song requests, felt the crowd's vibe, and just KILLED IT. I would recommend him and Murray Hill 1000x over.

Murray Hill Talent provided an effortless experience. They hooked us up with Sheldon who was AWESOME. All my guests loved him and he was a pleasure to work with. It seemed as though he had a great time too which kept us partying hard. He didnt mind if I threw some last minute things his way. We chatted a lot before the wedding and he always had his notes prepared for the phone calls. There were a few times I went up to request a song and it was THE NEXT ONE ON THE LIST. So unofficially I declare Sheldon a mind reader!
