There best word I can think of to describe Andi is an angel. She is friendly, approachable, organized, fun, caring, empathetic, supportive, uplifting, loving, and all around one of the best people you’ll meet.
Unfortunately, our wedding has ...been postponed due to the coronavirus and although we were heartbroken, I can’t emphasize enough how uplifting, supportive, understanding, Andi has been.
Not only, is Andi the most organized person I’ve ever met, but she’s also the most approachable. If you think about it, when you’re searching for a wedding planner, your searching for a stranger who is in charge of the most important day of your life...yikes! When we found Andi, I instantly knew she was no stranger to the wedding industry. Now, she isn’t a stranger to me either, but my confidant, my support system, my stress-relief, and Um hello, one of my favorite people!
From our first meeting, Andi made me feel like an old friend. We talked about life and family, combed through my Pinterest boards, and most importantly talked desserts. During the planning process, Andi was on top of every email, coordinated every detail, and came up with the most stunning design plan (which I’m still teary eyed over).
About those details, I think I am one of the pickiest, most indecisive, easily overwhelmed, procrastinator-style people out there and I avoid confrontation at all costs. When I say Andi is approachable, it is one of her best qualities for sure. She curated three options for every vendor, specific to our needs and wants. She made sure we knew if for some reason we didn’t like them, she had other options, and gave us time on every decision. I was pickiest about the design plan, and every time I had a new idea, Andi was so easy to talk it through with, and didn’t kill me for changing my mind a hundred times. “I’m thinking of our dogs as little figurines on the wedding cake....no on watercolor cookies....no in gold foil on napkins....no as signature drinks on a modern bar sign!”
When the coronavirus started impacting weddings, she sent out biweekly updates about what we can do to stay in the loop, how we can prepare Incase our date is effected, and reassured us that she is there for us. When we finally had to make the decision, she didn’t leave us with two options, but walked me through the ins and outs of all options with baby steps. And baby steps were needed! Everyone in our lives were giving their own opinions, yet Andi didn’t push us at all, but rather sat and talked through every single idea with us. Then when we finally came to the decision of postponing until further notice, she worked up a spreadsheet, took care of every detail we needed her to do, and just updated us along the way. She didn’t overwhelm us, she intercepted emails and responded before we even had to think about formulating a response, and all along the way sent us love, goodies, and support.
We truly, couldn’t function without her. Although our wedding is a big unknown, it’s all wrapped up and ready to be picked up when we’re ready, thanks to our angel wedding planner Andi.
