Muscoreil's Fine Desserts and Gourmet Cakes

Muscoreil's was also one of our vendors that we knew we were going to use right away. The planning meeting was fantastic and Phil was prepared with all the options and made great suggestions throughout. Kate, our decorator, did phenomenal. We told her wanted something to embody the feeling and grandeur of Shea's, and boy did she deliver. Oh, it was delicious too!

Our experience with our cake tasting and meetings were fun and enjoyable! They helped us decide which cake would be best for us and our guests are still talking about how delicious it was!

We decided to get cupcakes from Muscoreil's for our guests and a 2-tiered cake for the two of us. Our guests were raving about the cupcakes - especially the raspberry almond, carrot cake and maple bacon ones. They were very professional, easy to work with and even delivered and set up the desserts on stands we rented from them.

We chose to work with Muscoreil's for our wedding and they were FANTASTIC! They did our wedding cake and then a dessert table including a selection of pies, mini desserts, and GF macarons. Everything looked beyond amazing and tasted even better! The staff was very easy to work and communicate with. 10/10 would recommend!!

The cake was the talk of the reception!!! Setting up a meeting with Muscoreil's was so easy to do, they were so nice and easy to talk with. I was able to send them a picture of a cake I think I found on Pinterest and they were able to recreate it. They sketched a rough draft of the cake in front of my now husband and I during the tasting. They came out with a few pieces to try and we were able to make our decision during the tasting of the flavors we wanted to choose. Communicating with Muscoreil's was extremely easy to do. They responded to emails very quickly and were pleasant in their responses. The cake was very well priced for the 200+ guests we were anticipating. I was so impressed with the cake, how it tastes and the staff at Muscoreil's. I found them through the preferred vendor list from Avanti and was so highly impressed. I would give 1000 stars if I could!! I recommended them to my husband's sister when she was preparing for her wedding and the cakes at their wedding were delicious too! I would recommend them to anyone getting married or who just wants some tasty cakes!! :)

Best cake ive ever had! We planned our wedding from out of town, so we never got a chance to do a tasting but saw from other reviews that Muscoreil's was awesome - they did not disappoint. We did a funfetti cake for our wedding cake (silly i know) but it was so fun and delicious. A lot of planning was done over the phone and email and they were so accommodating and it came out perfectly!

Wonderful people to work with. My husband and I live in NYC and were going to be married there on NYE. 8 days before the big day, our wedding was canceled. We were crushed but both still wanted to get married. With my mom's help we turned around and planned a ceremony and small reception in my hometown. Never underestimate the hospitality of Buffalo. We felt like the community opened their arms and welcomed us back home. We were able to place an order for our wedding cake with less than a week's notice. It was a 3 tier chocolate cake with raspberry filling. We provided a sample lace from my gown to be replicated and draped down the front. It was beautiful. We then borrowed the wedding cake topper from my parents' wedding. Everything was perfect.

My husband and I chose Muscoreil’s to create our wedding cake and it looked and tasted amazing. We met with Phil for a consultation which included tasting a variety of cake/filling combinations, sketching out some design ideas, and getting an estimate. Since we were planning from out of town, we appreciated that they took payment by credit card over the phone instead of requiring cash or check. Sometimes it was hard to get through on the phone, and even though they were busy, the personnel were always friendly and helpful. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered to our venue on time and they placed the provided florals perfectly.

We worked with Phil from cake tasting to the Wedding was fabulous. We made changes and their recommendations were appreciated. We had a wedding cake, birthday cake, Italian cookie trays and gluten free cupcakes. Everything was spectacular and the cake scrumptious. It was everything my daughter asked for.

BEAUTIFUL cake! It tasted amazing and all the desserts were beautiful and tasty as well. All is the desserts were gone by the end of the night.

We used Muscoreil's for both my bridal shower and for our wedding. The bridal shower cake was AMAZING! Our theme was a tea party and it was shaped like a tea pot. And it tasted great too! We also loved our cake and cupcakes for our wedding - the cake was completely gone by the end of the night! The bakery was great to work with and it was super easy to update our flavors and number of guests as we got closer to the date. Definitely would recommend and use again for any other occasion!

We went to several bridal shows but Muscoreil’s stood out the most. We went for a cake tasting and automatically knew it was the place for us. They were very flexible when changing our date not once but twice. On the day of our wedding the cake looked absolutely beautiful and it tasted amazing!

They did an amazing job coordinating our cake to match our rustic, woodsy winter theme! They also tagged on a groom's cake (rather last minute on my part) and helped keep it a surprise for my husband! Everyone we worked with was very friendly, professional, and worked great with us even as our number of guests changed due to the pandemic. Oh, and the cake is delicious 🤤

Even through planning a pandemic wedding, two date changes, and downsizing our original cake - Muscoreil's was amazing through it all! We had our wedding cake made here for our micro wedding this past weekend. Phill did an amazing job coordinating my ideas and making our dream cake come to life. The details on the cake were amazing! I can’t believe it turned out identical to the picture I sent them. It tasted delicious as well! Would absolutely recommend them for any special event.

We chose Muscoreil’s Fine Desserts as the vendor for our wedding at HayLoft in the Grove. The entire planning process from initial tasting to delivery and more tasting was fantastic! We worked with Paul at their main office who made this entire process very simplistic. We chose a 6” cake for ourselves and then opted for cupcakes for our guests which was a huge hit. Our cake was a chocolate raspberry ganache with a schmear frosting all round. Cupcakes were pumpkin spice with buttercream frosting, we also did plain vanilla / vanilla for those basic needs as well as almond with raspberry frosting. Everything was fantastic and presented very well! Highly recommended!

Muscoreil’s has the best reputation when it comes to wedding cakes in Buffalo NY, so it was no question who would be making our cake once we got engaged! Phil was our contact person and he was so easy to work with from start to finish. He sat down with us twice and helped us design the exact cake we were looking for. He was professional, kind, and patient! We loved that they provided “tastings” at each of our sit down meetings. The cake turned out exactly as we imagined and it tasted delicious! Muscoreil’s also provided 6 gluten free cupcakes for our GF guests (including myself) and they were beyond amazing. You cannot go wrong when you order from Muscoreil’s!

We went through Muscoreil’s for my bridal shower cupcakes, our rehearsal dinner dessert tray and of coarse our wedding cake! Yum! I highly recommend them for any occasion!

Muscoreil's blew us away! They are THE name in wedding cakes around Buffalo, and we now know it's for good reason! Because they have the reputation of being the best cakes in Buffalo, we didn't think they would be in our price range. We were happy to find that they were very reasonably priced, and excited about our ideas when other places were hesitant. Not only did the cake taste incredible (marble cake with chocolate chip filling.... YUM!), it looked absolutely beautiful - exactly what we envisioned down to the smallest detail. They worked seamlessly with our florist to put fresh flowers on our cake, and came to the venue to make sure everything was set up perfectly. We can't wait to eat our complimentary 1-year anniversary cake, and we will look for excuses to order cake from them in the future!

I live in Michigan and the day I was visiting the area I didn't have time to setup a time to meet for a cake tasting. I stopped by the location and purchased some cake slices they had for sell. They were DELICIOUS! After speaking to them about their prices which I believed to be fair I picked them to make my wedding cake. I was able to communicate with them via email and email them the picture how I wanted my cake to look. The cake looked exactly as I wanted and tasted even better.

AMAZING is all we can say about our wedding cake, a true piece of ART! From the time we sat down with Phil to do our tasting to the design to the delivery, Muscoreil's went above and beyond. We had a special design in mind and to say they hit it out of the ballpark is a understatement. When we saw our actual cake at the reception, WOW!!!!! The amount of detail and precision--far exceeded our expectation! I found a cake design on Pintrest and wanted to add a silhouette our venue, The Tonawanda Castle in place of the Disney Castle--Again WOW!!!! The detail was incredible. The cake (all 3 flavors) were outstanding. We had enough cake to feed about 300 people and our head count was 175 and literally we had no cake left. EVERYONE loved it and said it was the best cake ever. Thank you Phil and your staff for an amazing design and delicious cake and memory! we can't wait for our anniversary cake top in 11 months!

Their cake is delicious- flavorful and moist. My husband and I are not cake people- so much so that we were considering not getting a wedding cake. We went to the tasting at Muscoreils and we love their cake! We ordered a sheet cake for our wedding and no display cake- we were trying to keep everything simple. Even though we didn't buy a traditional wedding cake, Muscoreil's didn't treat us any differently. Phil was our contact and he is very accessible and professional. They even delivered our cake to Letchworth State Park, about 1.5 hours away! I highly recommend using them, if cake is something you don't want to worry about on your wedding day!

We had a great meeting where they let us taste all different combinations of cakes and fillings. All the cakes were light and delicious. They drew up a sketch of what we wanted and they decorated our cake to match the bearing of my dress. There was absolutely no hassle or worry with working with them. Everything was punctual and perfect and the cake as the last of my worries for our wedding day.

I had Muscoreil's provide my wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job. I met with them once several months before the wedding and they were able to create the exact cake that I wanted and even included decorations matching the lace of my dress. They also coordinated with my florist so that there would be flowers cascading up the cake. They created a masterpiece and the cake was delicious!!! I would definitely recommend Muscoreil's in the future!!

I came to Peter with a vision I had for this Disney-themed wedding fairytale cake and he made the most beautiful cake I have ever seen, not to mention it was DELISH. Dave was so insanely patient and helpful, not to mention kind and easy to work with. He walked us through so many decisions regarding wedding cake design that I never even considered. I obviously knew what the concept for our cake was prior to our wedding and what it would relatively look like but it was still one of the things I was super excited to see on our wedding day. Muscoreil's did not disappoint! I literally gasped when I walked into our venue and first saw it. And as beautiful as it looked, the only thing that outshined the design was the flavor! We went with the chocolate ganache, the carrot cake, the cassata cake, the classic white almond raspberry they are famous for, and white almond with strawberry for our top layer. Muscoreil's is just the cream of the crop when it comes to cakes in Buffalo.

Muscoreil's is the BEST! I wish I could attach a picture of my beautiful wedding cake! We designed our cake to look like my dress, which is has vintage scalloping all beaded. They really made it look just like it, it was so beautiful! Dave was amazing to work with. While the almond cake is delicious, we really wanted a cake with a mango filling so he created one just for us! Any time we need a cake, we know where to go! Highly recommend!

We knew from day 1 that Muscoreil's was the only baker for our wedding! We've known that their cakes are so incredible and beautiful so it was an easy choice. Dave was amazing to work with. I looked at so many cake designs on-line trying to find what I was envisioning but had no luck. Sitting with him I described what we both wanted and within minutes he had drawn up our dream cake. Was everything we wanted perfectly designed! Picking the flavors was harder than the designing part, we loved them all :) Our guests have raved about the cake and how delicious it was over and over. Their customer service, professionalism, pricing, and quality was over the top and we can't thank them enough for being a part of our wedding day!

we didn't have a lot of money for a fancy cake but really wanted Muscoreils. We were able to get the top layer of our cupcake tower from Muscoreils and it was only $19! And it was delicious, of course!

I think my experience with Muscoreils was okay. They seemed knowledgeable in the begining and that they could make my wedding cake exactly as I wanted it, but I wasn't "wowed" in any way. Service and quality seemed standard. I felt that I had to keep trying to follow up and that no one even looked at my order or kept the details we discussed in mind until it got closer to the wedding -- and there was a lot of confusion on certain things like a lot of confusion about the cake topper that we already cleared up.

They truly are the BEST tasting cake around! I'm in love with their raspberry almond buttercream. Only negative being that the flowers on our cake were "orange" not coral to match our wedding colors

Our cake was beautiful and delicious! They made us a gorgeous rustic fall cake with fall leaves and we just loved it! Almost too gorgeous to eat but thank God we did cause it was super delicious!!!!

We recently had Muscoreil's do our wedding cake. At first, I thought they would be super expensive, but they were really competitive with prices from some smaller bakeries. And we loved all their different options! Our cake was a while almond cake with an almond buttercream and raspberry filling and it was delish! Really tasty and moist. Ours was simply decorated. It could have had a few more flowers added to it, but otherwise was exactly like the photo that we had provided for them to work from. My one minor disappointment was that we had purchased a special cake topper and it had a removable pick so that we could have it as a keepsake. I don't know if it cake detached from the topper or if they forgot to use it, but the monogram topper was not very secure and started tipping on the top of the cake. A very minor thing, but still. But they set up the cake and were experienced and professional, which I GREATLY appreciated! I would highly recommend them.

I loved our wedding cake! They listened to exactly how I wanted it and it came out perfect! The white almond cake was so delicious, I just wish I ate more of it! They also did my wedding favors which were mini pies. Everyone loved the idea and said the pies were to die for! Great people to work with and very reasonable pricing.

Beautifully crafted wedding cake! I cannot begin to express how much I loved our cake--not to mention how delicious the signature cake was! I received numerous compliments from our guests on how beautiful and delicious our cake was, too--and how it complimented my garden themed wedding perfectly! Thank you also for going above and beyond to decorate the cake table! It was jaw-dropping gorgeous--I actually cried!! Can't wait to recieve our first wedding anniversary cake next year! Our cake was less traditional and it was a topsy turvy cake with lots of design. The cake turned out amazing! It was the center of attention. And it was delicious! Great experience!

My cake was a bit more expensive going through Muscoreil's but i knew their cakes were the best, and it was! David was excellent to work with, the cake was very tasty, and i heard the italian cookies were fabulous (but i unfortunately didn't get any - they must have been that good).

Amazing! This is the best cake I ever tasted and all of my guests raved about it. The experience alone sold me there. I had a consult to see about price and i had no idea what i wanted. The owner sat down with me and pulled my ideas out of me. He was trying his best to make a cake that was really me. I loved the cake the cake that we designed together and then came the taste testing which was to die for. The cake there is amazing and they really make a cake just for you.

Beautiful cake! And so many delicious favors to choose from. These guys are so creative and professional. Tasting was one of my favorite parts of planning, and our cake turned out beyond my expectations.
