Bonnie was awesome! We hired her for our wedding, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how the evening turned out. She was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and day of. Neither me or my husband are very musically inclined, and she handled all of the heavy work of creating a great playlist with basic info she gathered from us. Our Day of Coordinator raved about how easy and great she was to work with. Bonnie truly made our wedding schedule come to life and provided a great party that really hit the mark with the attendees as we danced the night away. We would highly recommend Bonnie for anyone’s DJ needs. She was a huge part of making our night as great as it was!

Bonnie was so incredibly easy to work with. After one call, we know she would be a great fit for us. She was very receptive to the playlist and guidelines we prepared for her and worked seamlessly with our vendor and other vendors the day of the wedding. We knew we wanted a rockin’ reception and music would be essential in creating that atmosphere. Bonnie went above and beyond to create our dream reception. We found Bonnie through searching online and her love for music and being a DJ stood out to us. We are not from the area and found ease in contacting Bonnie via email or texts to communicate what we wanted out of our wedding day. Bonnie provided us with electric energy and was an extremely positive presence throughout our wedding. She played all the songs we requested on our wedding playlist and more! Bonnie is a PHENOMENAL DJ! Our wedding couldn't have been better, we were so pleased with the way Bonnie supported the whole day from the ceremony all the way to the dancing. She has such a wonderful way of making the day feel seamless and smooth with every transition between parts of the wedding from the toasts to the first dance feel so natural. We had tons of compliments on the music, and loved how well she read the crowd as far as what everyone seemed to respond to dancing wise. Very professional and such an easy process for choosing songs. Sound quality was great, from first dance, to speeches, to dancing, the transitions were smooth and natural.

Bonnie was amazing! I've been a guest at a few of the weddings she's DJ'ed and now she was the DJ for mine. She kept the dance floor going all night. We even had to move the dance floor outside due to all time record heat (and no A/C) and she was able to move everything and make it work.

Bonnie was FANTASTIC! Not only does she want to make sure your special day is perfect, but she makes sure it is what YOU want. They were on time, easy to always get a hold of via email and phone. They had all the set up or told you what else was needed (like a table). They have done so many weddings that they know the right questions to ask so that all your bases, entertainment wise, are covered. Lastly, Bonnie knows the business and people so well that she recommended just about all our our vendors!

Bonnie was GREAT!!! She took a lot of time to speak to me and my now husband before our wedding day about exactly what we wanted. When we were stuck on what songs to play for specific events she gave us a lot of suggestions and steered us in the right direction. She also acted as the announcer for a large portion of the night. Music by Bonnie is absolutely the best! Choosing a DJ can be a ‘make or break’ decision, one that determines the overall mood, feel, and participation from the crowd. However, for a wedding that transitions straight into the reception at the same location, having the right person is essential, as perfect sound is required for the ceremony, the transitions, the speeches, announcements, and of course the dancing. For all of this, we wanted a true professional; Bonnie is surely that! Being out of towners looking for a DJ for our wedding and reception, we were uncertain as to what the experience might hold. From the start, Bonnie was welcoming, asked very thoughtful questions, and was not only interested in learning the specifics of what we were looking for, but was interested in our story and knowing us. We came away feeling as those we had someone that really understood us, knew what we were looking for, and also someone that was going to handle everything, regardless of the curveballs that could be presented. She was ready and had a plan! Having been doing this for some time, Bonnie knew all the vendors for weddings, and also gave us fantastic references for the other things we were trying to figure out (again being out of towners). When it came to execution, she was spot on! We had several people that were hard of hearing, so we wanted to make sure the sound was right, especially for the ceremony. For the reception, we wanted and environment where people could talk with one another since so many people traveled from out of town. We still wanted to party though! Bonnie knew just how to create the perfect sound environments to accommodate everything. We couldn’t have been happier.

Absolutely loved working with Bonnie and her team for our wedding!! She was responsive, supportive, and very fun throughout the entire planning process. My husband was a former DJ who used to do weddings so it was very hard for him to give up the reigns and hire a DJ. We facetimed with Bonnie for our first meeting and he INSTANTLY loved her and knew that she knew what she was doing. Bonnie and her Team are awesome! Leading up to our wedding, Bonnie served as our main point contact and let me tell you, she is very professional, quick to respond, easy to work with, flexible to your needs and requests, has a great sense of humor, friendly, and a great value. Our DJ at our wedding was her partner, Larry, who we had never met nor spoke to prior to the day-of. At first, I was a little unsure of what to think since I had never spoken to him; however, Bonnie was quick to assure me that Larry will take great care of us. Well, Larry did take great care of us and totally exceeded our expectations! He was a phenomenal DJ, attentive to our music requests as well as our guests, and spun the beats that kept the dance floor occupied with happy dancing feet. We highly recommend Bonnie and Larry for any and all DJ needs!

Music by Bonnie was amazing! From beginning to end Bonnie was very helpful. Emails, phone calls, walk through at our venue. Everything was perfect and our dj was great. Music By Bonnie is the BEST! From our very first phone conversation, my husband and I knew we had found the right DJ. We have such specific music taste and a very detailed first dance, and Bonnie was so cool, calm, collected and reassured us that she would make the day perfect for us. She has also worked many weddings at our venue, The Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara, so she helped us visualize where she would set up and how it would all go down. That was incredibly helpful as this was obviously our first experience planning a wedding at the Mansion! Beside being an expert at what she does, Bonnie is incredibly warm and kind. I can't emphasize how important it was for us to find vendors whom we wanted to spend our special day with. She truly exceeded our expectations in that area. Bonnie- thank you for giving us the wedding of our dreams and making sure we listened to our favorite jams all day long. Bonnie was my original contact, and right away she put me at ease about the whole musical side of things. I sent her some lists of songs for the different parts of the day (pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, etc), and I chose specific songs for the processional, introduction, and cake cutting, but otherwise I just explained to Bonnie that the attendees of our wedding would be an older crowd (ages 40-70+), and I left the rest to Bonnie and her staff. Devon ended up being our DJ, as Bonnie went on a family trip, but he was excellent. We got lots of good feedback about him and the music played. It was the perfect soundtrack to our special day!

Music by Bonnie is fantastic! Bonnie was very knowledgeable and made planning ceremony and reception music so easy. Our DJ was Devon and he was AMAZING! He showed up early and everything went perfectly. From the timing of all ceremony music, to our first dance, to the volume of the toasts, I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and his ability to manage the music without becoming an "MC". He did a wonderful job of incorporating all of our "must play" dance songs and managed to keep our guests on the dance floor for the entire night! Absolutely book Music by Bonnie for your wedding!!

Simply put, Bonnie and her team are the best! It was so great working with Bonnie making all of our arrangements. They play exactly what you want, and nothing that you do not want. We had several requests for songs on our "do not play" list and Melissa honored our do not play request. We thought it was really nice that Bonnie came by at the end of the night to help close out our wedding. Overall, Bonnie and her team are a great accompaniment to your wedding - they don't try and tell jokes or intrude - they announce the events and play awesome music. We definitely recommend Bonnie!

One of my biggest concerns was no one would dance at our wedding, it was a small affair with ages ranging from 21-75...our problem ended up being our dance floor was too small. The music was phenomenal, everyone had a great time, thanks to the fabulous music.

I can't say anything besides we loved her - she was SO easy to work with and she accommodated all our weird music requests. She kept the dance floor moving and ended the night epically. She was TERRIFIC!!

We had a great time with Bonnie - she was very easy to work with, knew our vendors and worked directly with them, played the music we asked (including a two-part mother/son dance that she mixed) and overall was very on top of it. We would've liked a few more slow songs, but we should have specified that...she was great and did everything we asked!

Music was important to us when planning our wedding - and we were planning it far away from the Ventura/Santa Barbara area, so we weren't able to meet with any DJs. After researching some options, we began communicating with Bonnie and after one phone call with her, we never looked back. Bonnie was marvelous to work with! She's honest, professional and has a passion for music. Even though we loved working with Bonnie, we didn't get to have her personally as our wedding DJ; but she booked us with Larry... and Larry was just as wonderful! He was the perfect balance of mellow and enthusiastic. We highly recommend the Music by Bonnie team!

Bonnie was so sweet and reassuring from the start. She is very warm, incredibly flexible, and she knows it's your wedding and wants it to be perfect for you. Bonnie went and bought songs we wanted that she did not have, and only a few days before spent an hour on the phone with me helping me to find the ceremony music! Her patience, knowledge of different genres of music and suggestions made this process a lot easier (I am very indecisive and she was 100% helpful). Everyone complimented us on our choice of wedding music, and Bonnie was excellent at keeping a good flow throughout the night. Go with her! You won't be disappointed.

Wow! This is one DJ company that I would recommend over and over again! Of my wedding of 200 people, there were maybe 10 people not dancing! Everyone from my grandparents to my break-dancing cousins was out there! Everyone was commenting on how great the DJ was! It was so much fun!! This is such a helpful group of people! The owner, Bonnie was hugely helpful and reassuring during the stress of it all. Our DJ, Malia was a gem! I had given her a list of songs to play and she did not deviate. When our limo pulled up she was waiting to go over last minute details and was so helpful. (FYI, we paid $1300 for 6 hours of awesome music. So worth it!) I HIGHLY recommend these DJs!!

DJ made our wedding an awesome experience. She was easy to work with and played great music. We planned for an outdoor wedding, but it rained. She was super flexible and helpful moving everything inside and making everything work well. I'd recommend them to everyone having a wedding in the Santa Barbara area.

Although a little pricey, we thought, they were wonderful! They played all the music we had requested and really nailed the type of music we preferred. We used Jill who was just wonderful! We also heard that Bonnie is a great DJ to work with as well. They did a great job setting up the music for both the ceremony and the reception and helped us coordinate and run the wedding event.

Music by Bonnie supplied the perfect balance of class, fun, and organization. She kept everything on track and kept in tune with the mood and played the perfect songs. I really enjoyed having her there. She is super nice and really great at what she does! I would not recommend anyone else.

don't think we talked to one vendor who didn't recommend Music By Bonnie for our daughter's wedding in Santa Barbara - and thank goodness we listened to them. Bonnie was great as was her music. Her playlist is very lengthy allowing us to pick all types of music. I was even able to sneak in a couple of songs special to us. She was on time and kept the evening right on schedule. The room where she had to set up was small so we had quite a bit a contact. What a nice warm friendly person she is and everyone complimented on the job she did.

Music by Bonnie was the first vendor we picked for our wedding. We met her at a Bridal Expo and out of everyone there she was the friendliest and most knowledgeable about weddings. We hadn't even hired her yet and she offered to help with any questions we had about other vendors. Once we picked Bonnie (within a week after meeting her) she was there to help. Bonnie herself was the one to DJ our wedding and the music was great! As soon as we opened up the dance floor it was packed! The floor was full and EVERYONE was dancing. The best part, Bonnie played such great music that the floor stayed packed the entire night! She made announcements at appropriate times and overall was a major role in our wedding being FANTASTIC! We were married July 24th 2010 and had Music by Bonnie as our DJ. We live in Denver and got married in Santa Barbara. Bonnie was a huge help in getting our wedding planned from a long distance. We talked on the phone several months prior to the wedding and she made several recommendations for us on many of the wedding details outside of the DJ service. When Bonnie found out we wanted outdoor lighting at the wedding she worked with a local lighting contractor to come up with a great solution. She helped a lot as we planned trips prior to the wedding to select vendors. Having her advice was great as we weren’t local. The DJ at the wedding did an awesome job. We really didn't want any of what we consider the "typical wedding songs". Bonnie completely understood that and stuck with our requests, our guests requests, and did a great job of filling in anything in between. She also made great song recommendations prior to the wedding that we put on our playlist.

Music by Bonnie is fantastic! I can't rave enough about Bonnie. She goes above and beyond! I was having a horrible time finding a photographer, so when Bonnie asked how my planning was going I told her. She sent me a list of people she would recommend. Which led me to finding an amazing photographer and babysitter! Also, Bonnie's music was flawless the night of the wedding. Every aspect of working with her was great. It is so refreshing to find a wedding service provider that remembers it is a Wedding!!
