Music De-Lite recently was the DJ for our wedding in February 2020. We could not be happier. I was impressed with his communication throughout the scheduling process where he asked a lot of questions so he could make sure the package we selected was what we wanted. The forms he asked us to complete helped us think through the day - though I didn't realize how many songs go into a wedding ha! And the day went flawlessly. People danced the entire time so and I keep hearing it was the best wedding they've been to. Which they may just be telling me that as I'm the bride but the dance floor was never empty so I believe them. I highly recommend Music De-Lite to make your event a success.

At no additional charge he helped us plan-out our wedding timeline prior to our special day. On our wedding day he managed our customized plan seamlessly and created the precise vibe we desired. He made all of the announcements and oversaw the flow of the evening with perfection. We also had him provide up-lighting. The lighting made a very nice and elegant improvement to our wedding venue. I am super happy with the DJ entertainment and polished MC services Music De-Lite so eloquently provided on our wedding day. Len and I were married on Easter Day and initially thought our guests would eat and leave, like we have seen happen at other weddings we’ve attended. Before I hired our DJ-MC Robert for my wedding I saw him perform at two of my friends weddings last summer. Each time he was wonderful. He really knew how to keep the timeline moving along, made clear announcements and kept everyone dancing. Now my wedding! He was superb. Nicely dressed, calmly fun and very detailed without missing a step. He took all of our worries away about what to do next. Kaleb and I were able to relax and enjoy our day to the fullest. Our DJ Robert rocked it. Our wedding celebration on March 30, 2019 was made spectacular most notably by his thorough pre-event planning guidance and refined day-of DJ and emcee performance skills. We had less than 5 months to plan everything out and we managed to do it all without hiring a wedding coordinator. His helpful wedding ceremony and wedding reception timeline planning forms plus detailed expert assistance saved us hundreds if not a thousand dollars to get the same advice had we hired a wedding planner for such direction. He walked us through everything that can be done at a wedding and made it real easy to fully customize our day and for us to organize the flow of events and pick the special songs for the traditional wedding events we decided on doing. Prior to hiring him we talked to several other local wedding event DJs, but Robert stood well above the rest. We warmly felt his expertise, passion and care for the services he offers. He was open and clear about what he does and how he goes about it. He had no ego. He is politely humble and doesn’t have that center of attention big ego attitude some of the other DJs we spoke to have. Robert perfectly matched the style of DJ we searched for and found in him. Initially, to save money on the music we considered having a friend who does some DJing on the side be our DJ. Although, after some of our vendors advised against that, glad we listened to them, we decided to invest in a seasoned DJ that knows weddings and how to maintain a flow and make announcements. Looking back we now realize there is so much more to being a really good DJ for a wedding than just showing up and playing songs. We are so happy we learned of Robert through strong recommendations made by our caterer and photographer. He made our wedding day worry free, flow so nicely, and so much fun. Just to add. What Robert has that many other DJs we met appeared not to have is a vast knowledge of music. His understanding of many genres and decades of music is exceptional. For our special dances he informed us that many versions of some songs exist and it would be ideal if we let him know the specific ones we wanted played. This is something we never thought of until he brought it up. For the dance part of the night we gave him an idea of what we are looking for music wise and gave him the creative space to do his thing. He nailed it. He read the crowd perfectly. He knew when to switch music styles to keep the dance floor packed, which inspired all of our guests to partake. And they did with zest. From the young kids to grandma and grandpa everybody danced. It felt like a big family reunion where everyone came to celebrate and get along. The dance floor was packed all night. Robert also knew when to slow the music down and when to cut a song short if it went on too long. My wife and I made an effort to not micro-manage our vendors, Robert was the one that was the easiest to work with and needed no direction or reminder of what to do. He has mastered his craft. He guided and directed our whole evening so nicely and kept things moving along at just the right pace. His very reasonable pricing, pleasant character and a wealth of music knowledge and excellent timeline coordinating and announcing skills is what contributed the most in making our wedding so fun and memorable. He made the whole process easy, seamless, and stress free. Thank you a million times!

We are very pleased we hired Music De-Lite to supply the professional DJ and Master of Ceremony services for our wedding on March 17, 2019. The exceptional service and quality provided went far beyond what we had expected when hiring a DJ. About a month before the wedding we meet with our DJ and his assistant at my grandparent’s property in Maple Valley to go over the setup and space requirements. The ceremony and reception was in a barn and with over 250 people expected to show up we knew things would be tight. He offered some great ideas on how to make it all work. His sound system was neatly arranged, didn’t take up a lot of space, and sounded really good. Every announcement he made throughout the reception was eloquent and clearly heard. And the wireless microphone he provided for our ceremony worked flawlessly. He also setup some lovely up-lighting for the reception. I must say the lighting added a beautiful vibe to the barn. It looked amazing! During our meeting he went over the timeline of the whole event, and he gave us some insightful tips on how to make our whole evening run more smoothly. His expertise was wonderfully appreciated! In addition, we gave him a "please play" and a "do not play" list of songs. He was very accommodating to our playlist despite some songs we knew were uncommon, he had them all. His music mixing skill and knowledge of knowing when to play what – we felt was the key to so many of our guests staying and dancing non-stop for hours. He also worked seamlessly with our venue, our caterer, and our photographer throughout the night. At the end of the night Robert and his assistant got everyone lined up and blowing bubbles in anticipation of our send-off. He then announced us with enthusiasm as the crowd cheered. It felt like a game winning touchdown, so exciting. Our perfect night ended in spectacular style!

Amazing company!!! This is the 3rd time I have hired a professional DJ from the wonderful staff at Music De-Lite. The quality of DJ service has always been superb! For my wedding back in 2004 – Brian was the DJ, for my 40th Birthday Party a few years ago – Malia was the DJ (this gal rocks), and last Friday for my husband’s 50th Birthday Party – Robert was the DJ. The music played at each event has been absolutely perfect! They have that special talent of knowing what to play next to keep the dance floor packed! Everyone danced non-stop for hours at all 3 events they have done for us. The volume level during dinner and dancing has always been nice and clear and never too loud, which I greatly appreciated. The other cool things I LOVE about Music De-Lite is they not only DJ, they also serve as the Master of Ceremonies by keeping everything organized and running super smooth, and they also played our special song requests. Such a great company that deserves more than 5 stars! I give them the highest recommendation and will for sure be using them again when my 2 daughters get married.

We hired Robert with Music De Lite for our wedding. We met with him prior and he seemed like such a nice guy...well...on our wedding day (2.2.19) to start...he started playing our entrance song BEFORE we even were in the building (it was almost half way over by the time we entered) then when he started talking he hiccuped or burped right into the microphone and seemed like he helped himself to our dinner line and drinks and would talk with food in his mouth. This isn't even the worst of it...when it was time for our first dance, he played the wrong song...and when my husband and I looked at him and tried to just mouth "this isn't our song" he called us out over the microphone...not just ONCE but 3 different times...and even walked on the dance floor, pointed at us and said "I have emails to prove it!" (Which I went back and looked at our email conversations, he was 100% wrong) This is supposed to be the best day of my life! And this was our FIRST dance as a married couple! And he ARGUED with us in front of ALL of our 200 guests over the microphone. And BLAMED us. Instead of handling it professionally or putting the mic down and talking to us calmly and finding the right song. My sister in law found the song and we had to plug her PHONE in to it to play it...I think almost EVERYONE knows the song "say you wont let go" by James Arthur...he played a techno version we had never heard before...why would we pick this as our first dance song!? Then...he went right into the father daughter dance...my dad was SO upset it also ruined that moment and time for us...my dad was so upset he said something to Robert and left early. He argued with my sister in law, he argued with our photographer and was complaining about US to our other vendors!!! It was probably one of the worst experiences we could've had on our wedding day! This was what was talked about the majority of the rest of the night and all I could think about after this...we also didn't get to do the shoe game we had requested to play and we sent him home early but still PAID for him to be there longer than he was. Other guests had already wrote reviews at this point and when my husband went up to tell him he could leave early, he said Robert apologized and then handed him a list with names of the people that wrote bad reviews to ask them to remove them! We couldn't believe it. He has not emailed or reached out or offered to make anything right!!! This is something I will NEVER forget! I would never recommend Robert to ANYONE. And he could have had potential customers in that room! Thank God for all our other amazing vendors, family and friends who did whatever they could to turn our day around and make it almost perfect!

Music De-Light was really wonderful during our wedding. I sent out an outline of our ceremony and they had everything exactly how I pictured it! Their volume was great, the found all the right versions of songs I wanted. I just told them my overview and they nailed it, I loved not having to worry all day! During our reception the DJ did an amazing job of listening to requests from guests, but also following what I suggested for the event. My family requested a lot of line dances, which I specifically told him to not play, and he would tell my family they had to bring the Bride or Groom to the DJ and tell him it was okay before he would play a line dance. I so appreciate him following what I wrote down in my striations for the reception. The guests loved the music and danced all night! It was a really spectacular event. They announced only as instructed, and kept the night moving smoothly. I would highly recommend this DJ. Our wedding was small and personal, and they captured what we envisioned for the evening perfectly!

Robert did a wonderful job as DJ and MC for our wedding He was quick to respond by phone or e-mail, and the music selection was perfect. He had good suggestions for music throughout the ceremony and reception during the planning process.

Robert did an amazing job at our wedding! The music was incredible and I got so much feedback from guests saying that our wedding had the best music that they had ever heard at a wedding! Everyone was dancing nonstop, it was so much fun! Robert really kept the party going until the very end too, which we loved. He was able to read the crowd and knew just what to play for kids as well as adults. The music made everything so touching and beautiful for the ceremony and dinner also. I highly recommend Robert! He's awesome, a really a nice person to work with, and listens to everything you wish for on your special day!

We were married in late July and had a wonderful wedding. Many people said it was the most fun they've had at a wedding, and I believe one of the reasons was because of the great DJ we had. Eric did a great job with the sound system for the ceremony and announcements. We had given him a list of the music we wanted him to play, and he played everything we wanted. I highly recommend Music De-Lite for weddings!

Robert was a great communicator and made my wife and I both very comfortable in trusting him with the flow of events for our wedding. We had our ceremony in a public park and Robert brought all his own sound equipment and set it up for us and we never had to worry about a thing. He kept the party moving and everybody had a great night! We would recommend Robert as you definitely get great value and care from his services. Robert MC'd my wedding in OCTOBER 2016. He was nothing short of perfect. He played great music, got everyone involved and controlled the flow of my reception flawlessly. My DJ was Robert, the owner of Music De-Lite. Robert is very professional and had my guests dancing all night long. He knew exactly the type of music we liked! Robert was able to accommodate our surprise singers along with our first dance - dancing on a cloud (smoke machine looks like your dancing in the clouds). I would highly recommend Robert to anyone! In addition, Robert does not over price his services like other vendors and he will able to dj and mc. Thank you so much Robert for keeping our guests entertained!!!

I hired Robert Bonham as DJ & MC for my July wedding in Port Gamble, and he delivered amazingness on every level possible. From the initial planning sessions in person to emails and updates along the way, he communicated with class and friendliness all the way. Our wedding was a long day for him - it started at 2pm and didn't end until 9pm. He played music in 3 locations (chapel, under a tent for dinner, and inside the Hood Canal Vista Pavilion for dancing), expertly transitioning from one to the other with ease, and he executed everything else with precision, energy and loads upon loads of fun. Our wedding had many entertainment options besides dancing - lawn games and a photo booth, not to mention lots of daylight hours in which people traditionally tend not to dance as much as when it's darker - yet Robert's choice of music, lighting, and ability to read the crowd kept even the shy dancers and loyal lawn gamers coming back for more songs! I kid you not people - the groom and I had so much fun on the dance floor to the point of not wanting to be peeled away for too many photos! Robert is a true professional who really loves what he does, and he is so kind hearted and professional. If you envision a wedding with everybody young, old, and in between having fun on the dance floor, he is your guy!

Robert was wonderful! He was the MC/DJ for our recent wedding and I couldn't ask for more. I loved that he sent a planing guide before the wedding so he could get an idea of our likes/dislikes. Robert played a great mix of music and had everyone dancing all night. The uplighting added so much to the evening. I would recommend Robert and Music De-Lite for any occasion!

Not only was he willing to work around my time snafoo, he didn't push the up-lighting, but I did get it eventually and I am SO glad. It really added so much to the venue. He was so kind, great with the flow, kept a great flow of the music, and we literally had most of the wedding dancing pretty much the WHOLE time. The music selection was amazing to the point of basically large group karaoke circles. Honestly, huge reason why so many people said it was the funnest wedding they had ever been too. He also had some the National Geographic theme song already which I wanted for my entrance. So random! I highly recommend him to anyone and his price range was actually much cheaper than many of the other DJs I was looking at.

We chose not to get any of the fancy lights and only had the dj do the reception (cheaper too). He did a great job keeping us on schedule and kept the party going!

My DJ was Robert, the owner of Music De-Lite. He was great - very knowledgeable and helpful leading up to the wedding day and good at keeping things flowing the night of the wedding. He also did a beautiful job with lighting to make the reception space look great.
