The first thing that should be noted is that working with Mike from start to finish was incredibly easy. Mike takes the time to get to know you and gives you plenty of options to customize all the sound needs for your wedding day. He helped everything run smoothly. We felt like he was part MC, part day of coordinator. He got the whole crowd on the dance floor right after dinner and made great music choices to keep people on the dance floor all night. He spent the right amount of time being a DJ and the right amount of time letting the music roll. The music he played and the experience he gave us felt very tailored to what we wanted with an impressive attention to detail. Words cannot adequately describe how incredible my wife and I's experience with Music Express was for our wedding. I preface my review by saying I have more experience with Music Express than most others as they provided the entertainment for all of my sibling's bar mitzvahs . They blew my expectations out of the water. From the preparations leading up to our wedding to the last-minute walk-throughs to the reception itself, they transcended what we thought our wedding could be. Aside from my amazing wife, Mike and Bobby (the wonderful owners) single-handedly made this day a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Let me tell you specifically why using them for any event is the best decision. I am a die-hard Patriots fan and wanted to incorporate this into my wedding. Thus, I came up with the idea to write up a funny introduction for every member of the wedding party and parents and have them run out onto the floor like the patriots storming the field. What they came up with blew me away. They crafted an introduction that had each member run out to their own unique song, using the same playlist the Patriots do on game day. The lighting, presentation, music, and the entire assembly was everyone's favorite moment of the evening. Now you may be wondering, how was the reception music? Great question, young padawans. We told them that all we wanted was for our wedding to be "not boring". Dancing and partying until they cramped. And I can confidently and say the music was the true highlight and backbone of the night. The dance floor was bumping the entire night. They were masterful in their ability to anticipate what songs would get people dancing, what music theme to play, and when. Being a DJ is so much more than selecting songs you like. You must be able to cater to the masses while incorporating your preferences. I truthfully did not fully understand the nuance that goes into making this happen. Aside from my shower jams, I have no experience choosing music for a party. Picking the music was surprisingly one of the more stressful parts of planning. But Mike and Bobby made it simple. They have an amazing app that makes it easy to pick songs. It has tons of playlists for every occasion and suggestions, which was incredibly helpful. Their library also has every song imaginable. We were also worried about was how to choose music that blended generations and created an awesome environment for everyone. For example, my dad loves jazz music, while I am more of an EDM fan. I swear they must be part of some underground marvel avenger DJ universe because they put on a masterclass. All of our guests kept coming up to us and asking who the DJ's were because it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. As someone who relies on reviews for everything, I hope I have encapsulated how incredible Music Express is. From their dedication behind the scenes, innovative and industry-leading technology and app, seamless and streamlined communication with all the other vendors, their idiomatic approach to planning, to their unparalleled ability to get people grooving, Music express is the best vendor I have worked with at any level of my life. After our DJ up and cancelled on us in a three-sentence email four months before our wedding, Music Express saved the day. Working with Mike, setting everything up, made our music planning a breeze. He helped us fill in gaps for songs we didn’t even think of, like our cake cutting song. Bob & his son Robert were our DJs, and they did a phenomenal job checking in with us throughout the evening to ensure the night was going exactly the way we wanted it to. Another example of how on top of everything Bob was, we had two small children in our wedding party who were napping just before our introductions. We told Bob that they would not be taking part in our introductions, however at the last second, they had woken up and wanted to join us. Bob noticed that they had rejoined us and without missing a beat, went back to the original plan! Music Express helped make our wedding the amazing night that it was. We are now thankful that our original DJ canceled on us.

Mike and Music Express just did our wedding ceremony and reception and they did an absolute phenomenal job! Their organized approach to setting up a wedding is their secret sauce. In the planning stages, they not only get a sense for the type of music you would want at your wedding, but they give you tips on how to make the most out of our day. These tips were gold for day of the ceremony! Mike also constantly reads the room during the ceremony, to ensure everyone is having fun. Halfway though our reception (as in most receptions, people start leaving the dance floor). Music Express hosted our wedding on August 21, 2022 and did an incredible job. We first approached Mike at the recommendation of another bride that we knew, because we had such a great time as guests at her wedding. From the first meeting with him, we knew he was perfect for our event and he completely lived up to our expectations. He did a great job recommending songs for the ceremony and cake cutting, and absolutely rocked as an MC. All of our guests had a great time, and as a cherry on top, he was extremely attentive to us. This really made our wedding day even better than we imagined, because it allowed us to just focus on having fun, since he had all of the logistics down pat. Another highlight of our wedding was the photobooth that Music Express also provided. It was so fun, and our guests had a blast with all of the props. Icing on the photobooth cake is that Music Express even assembles a scrap book for you live on the night of the wedding, so that by the end of the night you can take it with you and look at all of the night's memories. My fiance and I had a great time reviewing everyone's photos while reminiscing during our mini moon. Overall, we couldn't recommend Music Express highly enough. We had high expectations for our wedding night, and Mike and the crew absolutely blew them out of the water. We're so grateful for the job that they did, and we hope that other couples are able to have as much fun with their guests on their wedding day as we did!

Music Express hosted our wedding this past weekend and did an exceptional job! Mike is truly a professional! As the bride, I had so much going on and was unsure about many of the song choices. This was where Mike showed his expertise by providing song recommendations which perfectly fit the theme and atmosphere of my wedding. We really wanted to create a fun atmosphere at our wedding so our guests would feel excited to dance. Music Express was the perfect choice! Mike was great to work with. He was so helpful and very communicative. He helped us create a custom introduction and worked to make it perfect for us, even when finding a certain sound clip was harder than expected (he found the clip!). He was open to all of our ideas and gave us amazing suggestions - he actually helped us pick our first dance song. I had a specific vision for cocktail hour vs dinner vs dancing music and Mike took the time to understand and execute it spectacularly. I cannot say enough great things about Mike and Bob! They were FANTASTIC. Mike took the time to have several meetings with us to plan our day perfectly and made sure he had every detail correct. We recently got married and as most know the DJ Company is right up there in importance as they set the tone for your reception. I chose Music Express as they were always very courteous and attentive and even had me come in to go over details multiple times. We had an amazing time at our wedding, and the music played kept everyone on their feet all night. The reception was fantastic. He did everything with professionalism and provided a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Great transitions from one song to another. I had the wonderful pleasure of having Mike Sarenson DJ my wedding in May 2019. Mike did a great job acquiring and playing all the songs I requested. He was easy to work with and ended up guiding me through everything we should do since I was inexperienced. He asked all the right questions and because of that our day went smoothly. He even prerecorded my 8 year old into our song. My son wrote me a special letter as a surprise and Mike worked diligently to record it into our song so I could hear it during our dance. This was a total surprise to me. There was not one dry eye in the whole place. Mike did our uplighting and our photo booth, both were amazing. He arrived in a timely manner and was dressed very appropriately. There is nothing bad that I could say about Mike. I am very pleased with his work and I know our guests enjoyed him just as much as we did.

Hiring Music Express for our daughter’s wedding this past August was one of the best choices we made. Mike and his crew were wonderful to work with, from beginning to end. Not only did they handle the DJ duties with excellence and aplomb, they also did the uplighting (this really transformed the room), the photo booth, and projecting the bride and groom’s names and date of the wedding up in lights. Music really does make the party, and everyone was up dancing for the whole night. All of the people who worked for Music Express that night were gracious and very helpful. But what impressed us the most was all the little touches that Mike did as MC for the evening. Mike is a consummate MC, keeping everything flowing seamlessly without being overbearing, and catching the little things that we forgot before they turned into problems. He turned our event into an amazing wedding! We would hire Music Express again in a heartbeat.

It was an absolute joy to work with the folks at Music Express. They were professional, approachable, and knowledgable. My husband and I felt confident going into our wedding day that everything was going to run smoothly in large part due to Music Express.

Mike and the crew at Music Express are absolutely wonderful!! I could not speak more highly of this company. They made me feel so comfortable and at ease the entire planning process, as well as our wedding day. They are always accessible by phone or email and are so helpful, especially for indecisive people like me!! They actually helped me plan a surprise during my father-daughter dance, and it came out exactly as I had hoped. Everything ran so smoothly and the transitions were flawless. I ended up having to change the order of some things the day of, but before I could be stressed about it, they gracefully worked it in to our program and truly made it a day for me to just relax and enjoy! At one point, my guests had started an unplanned game on the dance floor and Mike personally came to find me as I was outside on the deck, to make sure I didn’t miss that moment. I’m not sure I know of any DJ that would be that thoughtful or invested in their client. I am forever greatful for that because my guests are still talking about that moment 4 months later and I would have been angry with myself for having missed one of the highlights of our reception. At Music Express, they are kind, detailed, prompt, professional, fun... and clearly know what they are doing! Thank you to Music Express for making our wedding day a day so perfect!

From start to finish, music express was excellent ! They were not only our musical entertainment, but they also took care of the photo booth, the wedding video, wedding pictures, lighting, and invitations! Having all services provided through the same place alleviated what could have been-a TON of wedding planning stress. On our big day, Bob -our awesome Dj , made sure that my husband and I were constantly informed on the time as well as what event would be coming up next in the night. He even made it a point to make sure we ate! Which is really easy to forget to do! Overall, our experience with Music Express was stress free and pleasant from start to finish and we are so grateful for all of their help !

Our wedding day would not have been as amazing as it was without Music Express. I want to be transparent in saying that my wife and I have been working for Music Express for several years and I wouldn't trust any other company with providing the entertainment for my big day. They have been around for well over thirty years and they KNOW what works and what doesn't. Mike and Bob are masters of their craft. I want to be clear in saying that even though I have a special relationship with this company, I truly believe that Music Express is on a whole other level. No other company compares to them. The music was perfect and they had all of our guests dancing and having the time of their lives. From the uplighting, to the photo booth, everything they provided for us made our wedding day truly unique and special and a night Vanessa and I will never forget. Mike at Music Express was so enthusiastic about our unique wedding theme. We had a board game themed wedding that Mike helped morph into a game show theme during our reception. He worked with us creatively through music and introductions to make our reception feel like there were games around every corner and that our guests felt entertained! We were very impressed with how he worked with us and offered ideas, while also accepting ours. It was such a team effort that we could not have pulled off on our own. It came out amazing! From a newlywed game to a America's Got Talent themed dance off, complete with judged buzzers and commentary, Mike thought of everything! It was a privilege to have had Mike also splice together a first dance for us that we choreographed a special dance to that entertained every guest. It really was a once in a lifetime wedding experience for all of our guests and I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Music Express to any couple interested in making sure their big day is unforgettable! That is not even including their spectacular photo booth! They make copies for every person in the photo and create a personalized scrap book throughout the night that you receive as you leave that night! Mike thinks on his feet, knows how to make guests laugh and also how to make sure any problems get ironed out immediately so that the bride is calm and collected on her big day! A five star rating feels small in comparison to how my husband and I feel about the time and dedication to our wedding that Mike poured out for us.

Mike and Bob were the DJ’s for our wedding and we could not be happier with them. They were helpful and accommodating to us from the start of our planning through our wedding day. They were patient, listened to what we said and everything was executed perfectly. They engaged with the audience and knew what songs to play and when. We made the right choice with them and felt comfortable from start to finish!

I can't say thank you enough to Music Express - Experience means a lot, but being able to capture each client's uniqueness is a gift. Only a short time after meeting Mike, he knew better than I even did what I wanted and made a perfect plan. The highlight of the day was truly the whole day. They were prepared to handle our challenging venue, a 300 year old historic location, as well as a separate on site chapel. Everything went perfectly and smoothly, and the experience was fun. They valued our time, they listened, they are professional, flexible, reliable, fun, friendly, and eager to achieve excellence. They will not stop working until everything is perfect for you. I would pick some of my favorite highlights, but it was really the whole day. Thanks again!

Was planning a wedding totally lost and stress about finding a DJ for our wedding. I was referred to Music Express from a co worker. So I made the call and all my worries went away. Don’t stress call Music Expess. Our venue was small and in a historic site which could be a challenge for the best dj’s. Not for these guys wireless speakers and the best equipment around. There skill with planning and precision made the wedding planning life easy. I didn’t have to worry about pleasing the family “aunt Mary” because there selection of music was family friendly and fun for all those. Mike and Bob work miracles.

Mike and his team were amazing! From the moment we reached out to mike to our last dance he was on top of everything! Mike made our day flow perfectly! We talked to him at least once a month and if we had changes he was super helpful! My guests loved that mike was involved during dances having fun with us!! If your looking for a full experience with lighting and music then Music Express is your go to!!!

These guys are the best ever! Look no further. We had the most perfect evening, we only wish it could have lasted longer. We also heard from a lot of guests that this was one of the best weddings they've ever been to. I think Bob and Alysia were a big part of that! The dance floor was packed all night and it was just non-stop fun. Mike took us through the planning process and, let me tell you, they go over every detail. It was so meticulous, I was not worried at all the day of the wedding. And everything turned out exactly the way we had planned. Wish we could go back and do it again :)

We enjoyed Music express greatly. They were very professional and did a great job knowing what we wanted to have for our wedding reception. They followed everything and made us very happy to know the attention to detail they had. We had our friends and family that danced for almost 3 hours straight. They had the backlight set up perfectly and the monogram they asked us about was a great touch. We were very happy with there service and I will recommend them to everyone. Kept the reception party going and never a dull moment.

Music Express was amazing at tailoring the event of my dreams. They embraced and implemented some of my more eclectic ideas (Beatles hour, using pieces of my friends songs during dinner)- Mike was very professional and great to work with. They also took the reigns in getting the time table to all the other vendors which made everything on our wedding day go perfectly. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Mike was incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating of every request and helped us nail every detail down leading up to our big day! Every guest we've spoken to since the wedding has told us how much fun they had and it's thanks to the vibe set by Music Express. Bob and Justin had our dance floor packed within the first 10 minutes of being there and it stayed that way all night! They played every song at exactly the right moment and knew just how to get the room going. Alysia and Vanessa did an awesome job running the photobooth and presented us with an amazing scrapbook at the end of the night! Overall we can't thank Music Express enough for the wonderful memories they helped us create.

We had the best party ever, largely thanks to Music Express. Their management of the music and activities during the wedding reception was stellar! All of our guests said that it was the best music and one of the most fun weddings they had ever attended. We truly cannot recommend them highly enough.
