s received and I accepted the amount, I received a contract in the mail for signature and submitted my deposit with the final balance due a month before the wedding. It was straightforward and I was impressed. A week before my wedding Deena reached out to me for my music selections and she sent me a list of songs she has. We spoke briefly on the phone and she told me to either call or email her back asap with my selections for the processional, sand ceremony, and recessional. I emailed her my selections and thought everything was good to go. The morning of the wedding as I’m waiting for the guest to arrive, she comes to the bridal suite and asks me what I want her to play. I told her I emailed her and she said she never got it, so I told her the songs and she said she doesn’t have the sheet music with her. I was very upset, but I didn’t want to take that negative energy into the ceremony. I look through a folder she has and just picked a song. She played the song for the processional and sand ceremony fine. For the recessional after the pastor pronounced us husband and wife, we turn around and wave to our family and friends and wait for her to play. We wait and nothing. Finally we just start to walk, and we’re practically up to the second row before she starts playing. We didn’t have a first look so we took photos during the cocktail hour and didn’t hear the music. My dad told me after the violinist sounded horrible and I should have just let him play the piano. He said this without even knowing my above experience with her. Maybe this was just a one off as there are a lot of great reviews, but my experience was not good.

s one thing that a bride cannot go without. For me, that was walking down to pachelbel canon and I am so glad that my dreams came true with music for the moment! I remember hearing the music and walking out to meet with my husband. It was a dream. The music was loud enough for everyone to hear outdoors and everyone enjoyed the contemporary music they played for cocktail hour! Working with Deena was an absolute pleasure. She is very responsive to emails and phone calls. Pricing was reasonable as well. If you also have dreamed to walking down to live string music for your wedding, this is the company for you!

She is quick to respond to her emails, easy to work with, and affordable. Would recommend to everyone! I opted for a violin-cello duo for my wedding ceremony and the additional cocktail hour performance added on at a low fee. Worth it!!

My wife and I are musicians (so we know music) and Music for the Moment is worth the investment. They will go above and beyond on your special day. On a final note, my wife and I accidentally over-payed for their services. Deena alerted us to the over-payment and returned our payment on the day of the wedding.

She quickly confirmed availability of her musicians for my date and time, and assured me that things would run smoothly. I selected the string trio for both my ceremony music and cocktail hour. Deena provided me with a list of musical selections from which to choose, and then used her expertise to help me refine the selections to best suit my ceremony and the size of my wedding party. On the day of the wedding, the string trio performed beautifully, and the music was lovely. Our guests were so impressed with our choice of live musicians and their vast repertoire, particularly during the cocktail hour. Not only that, I have Deena to thank for my officiant! I didn’t know where to begin to find one, and one of her recommendations, based on her experience and observation at many weddings, turned out to be the perfect choice for us. In hindsight, the day my original vendor canceled on me turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because I otherwise would not have booked Music for the Moment, and we would have missed a wonderful experience. It is with the utmost sincerity and pleasure that I highly recommend Deena and her musicians for your event.

more money because it was a mass (which I could've sworn I mentioned) and it may run over time. She said they would play all songs since they are there for the mass anyway. She assured me through many emails that all was okay. I had a music director for the church try and get in contact with her as he was the organist and they would be working together. 2 days before my wedding my mom called her to confirm and she claims she had no idea what music we were doing even though she confirmed the email with the songs 4 months prior. She was aloof and shrugged it off that "it would all work out." I tried to reach her as I obviously was in a panic and I was told by a man she would call me back. Instead of a call I got an email saying everything was fine. Yes, they showed up and yes, the music was beautiful so they get 3 stars. But they did not play any songs during the mass (Basically just played music before the ceremony and when I walked down the aisle and when we lit the unity candle) and I honestly think it was completely outrageous for the price I paid AND to have to pay extra for a mass when they didn't even play. Could have been a much better experience.

I am so glad that I listened to her advice! So many guests have complimented us on how great the church sounded with them. I only wish that I was able to hear more of them! er the initial email, she called me that very afternoon. I told her that my kids, who are both musicians, wanted to sing a few songs during the ceremony and asked her if she would be willing to work with them long distance since they both live out of state. She said no problem. After that, she communicated directly with them and worked everything out. I love show tunes, and Deena asked me to send her a list of my favorites. She had them all. The music was so beautiful. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you very much Deena for making our day even more special! Michele & Tom

is nothing quite like a string trio of musicians setting the mood for the wedding party and the guests. Deena was very accommodating with my music selections which combined classical and popular (Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Carole King). When the trio began the ceremony with "Let it be me", there wasn't a dry eye to be found. Everyone loved them and my cousin hired them for her daughters wedding.
