When we first started looking for a venue, Music Hall was perfect. It had the theater for our ceremony, and a large open rooftop for our reception. It was everything we wanted! But...
the event coordinator there, Karen, is the WORST! She would take weeks or months to reply to my emails, and it ended up taking us almost a year to even get a contract. Then when we encountered a problem, and even brought it to the president of the theater, they cancelled our contract and we no longer had a venue. Karen is an event coordinator who does not enjoy working with people at all. She is impossible to get a hold of and doesn't provide the answers you need. If by some crazy chance you are still interested in this venue for your wedding, do yourself a favor and try to work as much as you can through Erik Temple, the food and beverage coordinator. He was the only ray of light in this horrible experience, always trying to help me, but ultimately not high enough on the totem pole to make my dreams come true. But he did work a few wonders before we ultimately lost our venue!
