Could not recommend working with Isaac more - he is extremely professional and passionate about his work which helped make our wedding truly unforgettable. When we were initially researching/interviewing DJs, he was super responsive and he even shared a sample set with us that he thought was our vibe (which was spot on by the way). After we hired him, he was very collaborative throughout the planning process and went out of his way to accomodate all our music requests - even learning some new songs to play on the guitar during the ceremony/cocktail hour. To top it all off, he even brought in a live sax player during the dance party to surprise our guests! Our friends/family couldn't stop talking about how fun it was - thank you Isaac for making our wedding a day we'll never forget!!

Wow there is so much to say about Isaac and his musicians at Music in Tahoe. They are absolutely incredible. From start to finish, Isaac was a pleasure to work with and eased all of the stress/nerves that come with planning a wedding. My husband and I are big music people, so choosing our entertainment was a really big decision, and Isaac truly exceeded all expectations. Leading up to the wedding, Isaac was available, responsive, and organized. He also had an extensive song list, which made it so easy to select music that spanned genres and generations and that we knew our guests would all love. Since music was super important to us, we had a lot of specific music requests and Isaac was more than happy to accommodate. This included learning and arranging our "walk down the aisle" songs and allowing my sisters and dad to perform a song that they learned for us (in lieu of a father/daughter dance). Isaac is also a great emcee and worked closely with my planner on timelines, allowing the evening to flow so naturally and effortlessly. Isaac, Karl, and Chris brought incredible vibes all evening and kept the energy up and the party going. We had the best time ever at our epic dance party at the end of the night. So many guests told us how much they loved our music and the DJ/live music hybrid that Music in Tahoe so effortlessly executed. We couldn't be more happy with how our music/entertainment turned out and we recommend Music in Tahoe for all Type A, music-loving couples in the Tahoe area. :)

Music in Tahoe is a must hire for your big wedding day! Isaac and Chris were such a pleasure to work with! During our calls I explained the types and music and mixes we wanted for our wedding and Isaac went above and beyond. Not to mention his enthusiasm and energy throughout the night really added to the dance vibes. We hired Chris as a violinist during the ceremony and cocktail. He was so wonderful and added a special touch to everything. We had many compliments on how great they both were!

I’ll start by saying this: YOU SHOULD HIRE MUSIC IN TAHOE FOR YOUR WEDDING! Isaac and his team are world class service providers, skilled vibe coordinators, and beyond easy to work with! We were absolutely blown away with the music—from the live renditions at our ceremony, live music at cocktail hour, and mixing during dancing! Every single one of our guests were raving about how fun the music was and that they had an absolute blast! Our friends/family that we were sure wouldn’t be dancing were out on the dance floor all.night.long!!!! We worked with Isaac on a song suggestion sheet/vibe for dancing and he took it and ran! If you trust this team with your music, we promise you will be blown away! 5 stars doesn’t do Music in Tahoe justice!

Isaac was nothing but a top notch professional when it came to DJing our wedding. His audio set up for our ceremony was great and his variety of equipment meant we were prepared for any situation. He did an INCREDIBLE job creating a mix for the dance floor which included just about every song we suggested and flowed seamlessly throughout the night which meant the dance floor was never empty. We also had Lucas and Karl playing guitar and saxophone for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were phenomenal! Their music compositions were beautiful and live instrument element really elevated our guest experience. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the music.

Holy Schnikes was Isaac awesome! We hired Isaac to DJ our wedding as well as an after-party at our house. Right from the start he helped us figure out what music we needed and worked closely with us as we figured out playlists that would work for our cocktail hour, dance party at the wedding and after party. He was always extremely responsive and fun to work with. Many of our guests commented on how awesome the music was and how fun the DJ was specifically. He took our suggestions and mixed them together seamlessly. I could also tell that he was responding to the vibe of the dance floor in real-time by shifting songs that weren't working well. As a result, we had a huge number of guests dancing almost the whole time. I would recommend Isaac in a heartbeat!

We had the unique experience of first attending a wedding as a guest where Isaac was working, then later hired him for our own wedding, and both were fabulous thanks to Isaac. Our main concern at our wedding was getting everyone to dance, but Isaac created such a fun vibe mixing old and new songs, rock with edm, that all our guests danced the whole night. I had several friends come up to me and say they had never seen so many people dance at a wedding and I personally saw many older family members on the dance floor who I've never seen dance before! Besides the dancing, Isaac also played beautiful acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and worked with us to create custom arrangements of our favorite songs to match the time, vibe, etc. needed. Working with Music In Tahoe was such a great experience. Isaac and team are the best at what they do and it showed the night of our wedding. The dance floor was always full and the music was thoughtfully curated and helped create a fun atmosphere! Milton Merlos and Danny did a fantastic job playing live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding! Then for the dinner and dancing portion Milton did a great job DJ’ing - he really responded well to the crowd!

Isaac was very responsive and always ready to help through the entire planning stages. He was very organized and took into our music preferences when creating his DJ set. He had different microphone options depending on the wind for us during our ceremony at Palisades High Camp. It was this attention to detail that was important for us! We decided to go with the mixed DJ and live music combo which included Chris on the Saxophone and Lucas on the guitar. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing their jazz duo was during cocktail hour. Isaac absolutely knows how to command a dance floor. He read the room and put out incredible music tailored to our tastes with seamless transitions and mashups. The dance floor was completely packed for the entire 3 hours and everyone was having a blast. He played a solid hour and a half with Chris and Lucas playing sax and guitar. Our guests keep talking about how that was the best dance floor they have seen. I would not hesitate to hire these guys. Isaac was a complete professional through the entire process and we owe it to him for putting on a great wedding!

Milton was with us on our special day and we cannot emphasize how much we appreciated his professionalism and talent. He is a truly talented musician who was able to learn the acoustic version of songs for us to use during the ceremony. This helped us feel like each peace was completely customized to us. During the reception, he took into account the songs we sent him to create a playlist personalized to our tastes. He was even wonderful about recommending songs for certain special moments based on our tastes! When most people plan a wedding, they must choose between live music and a DJ. With Music in Tahoe, you get the joy of both! We have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding, and we owe it in great part to Milton!

If you are contemplating having music at your wedding, you have to contact Isaac (Music in Tahoe). I cannot recommend him enough. He is kind, responsive, and so good at his profession! He can take your ideas and show you how to make your vision come to life. Also, it amazed me that he is a talented musician as well as a DJ. We had him play guitar and sing for the first hour of our wedding, and DJ the rest. Even though my wedding was small, Isaac turned it into a party. He takes your song selections and creates a playlist he knows everyone will love. My wedding guests commented all night about how good he was and the next day my nieces told everyone it was the best night of their life & the music was fantastic— which is quite a rave from teenagers. Isaac is smiling & having fun the whole time & you can tell he loves what he does & his personality is contagious in bringing the fun. Do NOT miss out on his services if he is available for your event! He is a treasure.

Isaac was helpful, professional, and adaptable throughout both the planning and execution process of our wedding. Isaac was fantastic. Easy to communicate with and understood our vision for music at our wedding. All audio components (microphones, speakers, etc.) were setup perfectly. His music choice for the party and dancing was fantastic and combined a range of styles for all age ranges to enjoy. We heard endless compliments from guests on how great the DJ and his music was and we couldn’t agree more. His energy was fantastic and he was a joy to work with. Would highly recommend.

Issac was hands-down the best DJ/MC and live solo acoustical guitarist for our recent wedding in September 2023. Issac went above and beyond from the day we spoke/met him to the day we last spoke. He is true to his word, honest, passionate, talented and most importantly, a very good person. He is terrific at what he does, and I promise you will not find better. Issac went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. Issac was hands-down the best vendor we had, and we were both truly grateful to have him be such a big part of our big day by being our DJ, MC and live acoustic guitarist. Issac's commitment, great communication, punctuality, and all-in attitude shines through his passion for what he does. Issac really made the difference in our wedding being so perfect, and we cannot thank him enough. In addition to being our DJ & MC, we also had Issac perform an acoustical set during the cocktail hour and he did not disappoint. Issac played every song we requested acoustically, and to a very high degree (and I will admit, never hearing his vocals, we were a bit nervous, but he did a terrific job, and it was exactly what we could have hoped for!). Our guests raved about how great the music and vibes were from beginning to end, and we could not agree more. Issac has a great website/platform, payment system, music selection process, and dedicated the perfect amount of phone time for us, which we were very appreciative because it shows he is committed to providing the best experience for his clients. He also provides a great template for you to input all of your song request for every moment of your big day. Typically, DJ's do that and then end up only playing a 1/3 of your request, but we can honestly say that Issac put us first and played 99%, if not 100%, of our song request so we were STOKED, as were our guests. Of course, he did throw in his twist and share of jamz, which we also appreciated. Playing the music/songs we requested really helped set the vibe we wanted during each hour of our big day. A day after our wedding, we received a mixtape from Issac that contained ALL of the songs played at our wedding. We were in shock and almost teared up. Issac took the time to record and make a seamless mixtape of our big day, and it's really something we cherish and repeatedly listen to on the reg! Also, just want to note that listening back to the mixtape, you can easily see the amount of effort Issac puts into making the mixtapes as the song transitions flow extremely well, better than any wedding we've been to in the past. We truly believe that made all the difference and literally kept all of our guests out on the dance floor for the ENTIRE night. Issac truly went above and beyond to make our day so special, and we could not be more grateful. From start to finish, his services, communication, payment platform, and the entire process was a total breeze, and that's definitely not something you find easy when dealing with wedding vendors; so THANK YOU, Issac. If you are looking for a top-notch, high-quality, talented and most importantly, RELIABLE, musician/DJ/MC for your event, look no further because Issac is the one. Isaac was one of the best decisions we went with for our October wedding at Tahoe Blue Estate! From the moment I first spoke on the phone with him, I knew we had made the right choice. He is down to earth and listened to all our needs/vision for the wedding. Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away was difficult but he made the process smooth. When he arrived he set up speakers for the ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception. He even allowed my sister and brother-in-law to borrow his guitar to sing our first dance. Everyone loved how skilled he was as a DJ. He kept the energy up the entire night and even allowed us to go an extra hour last minute. If you are looking for someone to DJ your wedding don’t think twice about Isaac! We are so lucky he was available on our day :)

Isaac was a perfect fit for us! From the beginning, we felt great about our calls and interactions with him. He and his team member, Chris, played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Isaac helped create a wonderful atmosphere for our wedding through the carefully curated playlist he created and performed as well as his personality. We sent him a list of artists, albums, songs for him to get an idea of our taste and vision for the day. From that, he created a custom playlist that he did a mix of acoustic performance, singing, and playing full songs over the speaker. We appreciated Isaac's approach and consideration in our day, which matched exactly what we hoped for. Music In Tahoe was excellent. They were easy to work with leading up to the wedding and proactive about setting up calls with us to discuss our preferences. Isaac was great and our DJ Max was amazing as well. On the day of the wedding Max checked in with us multiple times to make sure that we wanted to stick to our initial timeline and was open and flexible when we wanted to change things up.

Isaac brought everything and more to our Wedding day! All night we kept hearing from everyone where did you find this guy?! The ceremony went unhinged, you could hear the music and vows! Everyone loved the acoustic guitar and singing for my walk down, it really added an authentic touch. It was so great to have someone so in tuned with our guests and help everyone navigate where they need to be and what was happening. There were no dull moments. And there is something to be said for smooth song transitions to keep the party going! I also want to add the amazing sound work for those that don't know where to hold the microphone when speaking, Isaac is there to sound control that too so everyone can hear those kind words your loved ones are saying. There is not enough great things I could say to express just how wonderful Music in Tahoe is. We had the absolute pleasure of having Milton with us on our wedding day and I can, without a doubt, say that he made our wedding the most fun, happy, special it could have possibly been. The most amazing DJ we could have ever asked for on this special day! From the beginning, Isaac was so prompt with communication and willing to help answer any questions we had. His online portal is so easy to navigate making song selections and sharing information very easy. I asked him to cut a portion out of the song I walked down the aisle to, no problem. We asked him to cut down our first dance songs, no problem. He plays live acoustic guitar and sings during cocktail hour and then he absolutely brings the party when it's time to get your guests on the floor. Many of our wedding guests were used to a live band performing at weddings, but they all made a point to say how AMAZING Isaac was and how he really kept the energy going the whole evening. We had a large group on the dance floor until the final song ended which was such an amazing feeling and really all I cared about at my wedding. Long story short, look no further than Isaac when looking for entertainment for your wedding. He is such an easy-going and amazing person and he's a fabulous DJ. Make one aspect of wedding planning simple and go with Music in Tahoe, they are as good as it gets!

Isaac was absolutely amazing!! From his outfit to his energy and during all the lead-up… he made our wedding so special and created the upbeat vibes and party/celebration atmosphere . He even learned a song ( lyrics and instrument) just for our processional!! He timed the ending que perfectly to our first dance and father daughter dance. He accommodated a few special cultural traditions that we added into our reception and even took the time to learn them / make them fun! Can’t say enough great things about him. 100000% recommend!!

Our wedding planner connected us to Isaac at Music in Tahoe last minute when our band wasn’t able to travel due to weather. He was so amazing - flexible to work on short notice, even switched days when the weather further turned and we needed to move up the wedding, took time to do a prep call with us so he could make the perfect playlist, played some live guitar during cocktail hour, and most importantly put on a hell of a party! We got tons of compliments about how fun he was and how well he captured our vibe. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Plain and Simple Isaac from Music in Tahoe was one of the best parts of our wedding. I can't count how many times our guests told us the next day or the night of how amazing our DJ was. He got everyone dancing and having a great time and was more than open to song suggestions from the crowd. He seemed to move seamlessly through songs and mix them well even when the vibe would change. Pre-wedding he was also very communicative and worked well with our other vendors and wedding planner to ensure our vision was executed correctly. I would highly recommend Music in Tahoe and absolutely feel comfortable with knowing the wedding will be a great time.

Isaac is AWESOME. He is super friendly, accommodating, professional, and an incredibly talented DJ. With many musical guests in our crowd, we knew our wedding music needed to be on point and Isaac did not disappoint. He took our favorite songs, artists, and styles and crafted a setlist with some unique remixes that had everyone (from little kids to the older generations) on the dance floor until the last dance. Isaac also works with several other amazing live musicians — Lucas and Tristan played guitar and piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it was the perfect complement to the DJ set. They learned all of our specific requests and set the mood for more heartfelt moments and dinner. If you have the chance to work with Isaac and his team, DO IT! You won’t regret it.

We are truly grateful for Music in Tahoe for making our wedding the most epic party! We had Isaac as our dinner and reception DJ, and two live musicians - Lucus on the guitar and Karl on the saxophone - for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He even remade the song we chose as our first dance to cut out the first verse (at our request) and made the intro flow into the first chorus perfectly. His execution was flawless and our guests could have danced all night. We received so many compliments on the music and we owe it all to Isaac. We also want to give a big shout out to the live musicians, Lucas and Karl. Lucas is an incredibly talented guitarist. He learned the songs we wanted for our processional and bridal walk (in an impressively short amount of time) and played them live beautifully. Karl is also an amazing saxophonist. Both he and Lucus were the best duo for the live music played throughout our cocktail hour.

Milton was beyond our expectations! He has such a vibrant vibe and he shows that through his music. Everything from the live music to the dj’ing was great and kept the mood where it needed to be! I’m so glad we went with Music in Tahoe!

Isaac was amazing! He was very communicative, punctual, talented, and brought great energy to our wedding. We convinced him to stay an extra hour which he agreed to without hesitation. He read the crowd well and played music to keep everyone dancing. We also had him sing and play guitar during our cocktail hour which was great. Everyone complimented his work and energy. Definitely would use him again in the future without hesitation.

We hired Isaac with Music in Tahoe to be our DJ for our wedding in South Lake Tahoe and we could not have made a better choice! From our first call, to planning calls, to the day of the ceremony, Isaac was upbeat, knowledgeable, and gave us great advice. As a Tahoe native at one point himself, we chatted about the weather on our wedding day and he gave us his advice/thoughts on if the reception should be indoor or outdoor to keep guests comfortable, which was so helpful and appreciated given my husband and I are from out of town. The day of the wedding, Isaac kept everything running smoothly. My husband and I and all of our guests had so much fun dancing up until the end of the night, and we had multiple guests of all ages coming up to us saying it was the best music they have heard at a wedding in a long time! We would recommend Isaac to anyone looking to get married in the Reno/Tahoe area - he will keep your guests on the dance floor having a great time! Hire Isaac. He can do it all! We had Isaac play music during our ceremony, sing during cocktail hour, and DJ at the reception and he did it all seamlessly. He has a wonderful voice and can play/sing songs from any genre you wish! His DJing consists of mixed tracks and songs, so its not just someone up there with a Spotify playlist. He took requests from my friends and family and seamlessly blended them into the set. 12/10. If you are looking for a DJ, and don't want anything to go wrong.. Hire Isaac.

Isaac is a boatload of fun. He mixed songs from all generations into an amazing danceable track. He also sings and play guitar. We utilized him for the ceremony, cocktail hours, and reception. He's got it all and truly enjoys his craft. Hire him for an epic dance party and a beautiful ceremony.

Hands down the best DJ you could ever have at your wedding, event, anything that needs dancing! My wife and I went to a wedding where the music was epic and then we were looking for a musician ourselves and it just so happened that Music in Tahoe was the same DJ that played at the epic wedding we went to a few months back! Our wedding was so incredible, and the dancing is what topped it all off. The dance floor stayed packed the entire time and people were having the time of their lives. Everyone was so impressed about the dancing that they comment on it everytime we talk about our wedding. 10/10 would recommend
