Not only is he a truly talented musician, but he was also flexible and accommodating when we had to make last-minute changes due to the weather. His performance added a special touch to the event, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out.

In addition, the string quartet group played beautifully, entertained our guests during cocktail hour, and even learned 2 new songs for our special day. They were truly a highlight of the whole experience! Of our entire wedding vendor team, Music in Tahoe was the star of the show!! We cannot recommend them enough.

il hour. We were very particular about curating a specific vibe for our wedding through music, and they did a perfect job at catering to our taste that isn't the "typical" wedding music. Milton prepared an acoustic rendition of "Always" by blink 182 for me to walk down the aisle to, which is one of my husband's favorite songs, and it was so beautiful it brought him to tears. He also played beautiful soft acoustic guitar at our cocktail hour, all with a huge smile on his face. Isaac absolutely tore up the DJ set with a mix of our favorite hip hop, house, reggaeton, and throwback jams. So many guests were so impressed and came up to us and asked where we found him and if we brought him from NYC. The dance floor was packed all evening and Isaac was asked for an encore from the guests. 10/10, no notes!

ons is the conveniently SEO-optimized company name of Music in Tahoe. Isaac was excellent and extremely helpful and communicative throughout the whole booking process. DJ Max (not sure if he has a stage name) absolutely rips. Basically they ask you for a list of songs to give them a vibe for the dance floor and he will do the rest. With the songs we requested, he did an great job arranging, cutting, and mixing them to curate the perfect party. He also added in a bunch of songs and brought his own mixes that totally captured and elevated the vibe we were going for and, at times, really blew people's minds. When the beat drops on the Mr. Brightside remix, you can see people's heads exploding on video. In terms of logistics and production and all that stuff, he was always on time (I think he actually showed up early on the day of to make sure he got set up), was super communicative, and really helpful in making sure we understood everything he was going to do. He did a great job with the sound system for the ceremony and reception. Despite howling winds that we thought were going to make our ceremony inaudible, we trusted Max and everything went off without a hitch. He also took on stuff we didn't even realize we needed. For example, he cut shorter versions of the first dance and parent dance songs that kept all the important stuff but lost the deadweight. Free advice to any other DJs or couples reading this: no one wants to watch you dance for four minutes; everyone should do this. Finally, the saxophone. You want the sax. You need the sax. Is it more money? Sure. Is it worth the expense? Absolutely. Find the cost in the flower budget or the catering or the flatware rentals. Karl is amazing, can play anything, and the saxophone really does make something that was already awesome (again, Max is the best) and makes it into something truly magical. 11/10. Would recommend to anyone. I don't live in the area anymore, but if I did, I would honestly throw a party just to hire Max to DJ.

Don’t even get us started on how amazing Isaac was during our dinner, reception, and dancing. His emcee’ing was flawless, and the dance floor was PACKED the entire evening. Everyone told us they had never seen a dance floor so packed at a wedding, and we had numerous people tell us Isaac was the best DJ they had ever seen!! All ages were on the dance floor for 2+hours. We cannot thank or recommend Issac, Chris, and Music in Tahoe enough. We wish we could relive the day all over again, and a large part of that is because of them :) thank you!

He’s not your average dj, he doesn't just play song after song. He remixes songs together, had a light show, and really made it a unique experience. We had multiple people come up to us telling us how much they loved the dj. One person even asked if we hired Calvin Harris to dj our wedding. We would hire Isaac again in a heartbeat and you should do the same if you’re looking for the best dj.

f the stress/nerves that come with planning a wedding. My husband and I are big music people, so choosing our entertainment was a really big decision, and Isaac truly exceeded all expectations. Leading up to the wedding, Isaac was available, responsive, and organized. He also had an extensive song list, which made it so easy to select music that spanned genres and generations and that we knew our guests would all love. Since music was super important to us, we had a lot of specific music requests and Isaac was more than happy to accommodate. This included learning and arranging our "walk down the aisle" songs and allowing my sisters and dad to perform a song that they learned for us (in lieu of a father/daughter dance). Isaac is also a great emcee and worked closely with my planner on timelines, allowing the evening to flow so naturally and effortlessly. Isaac, Karl, and Chris brought incredible vibes all evening and kept the energy up and the party going. We had the best time ever at our epic dance party at the end of the night. So many guests told us how much they loved our music and the DJ/live music hybrid that Music in Tahoe so effortlessly executed. We couldn't be more happy with how our music/entertainment turned out and we recommend Music in Tahoe for all Type A, music-loving couples in the Tahoe area. :)

experience of first attending a wedding as a guest where Isaac was working, then later hired him for our own wedding, and both were fabulous thanks to Isaac. Our main concern at our wedding was getting everyone to dance, but Isaac created such a fun vibe mixing old and new songs, rock with edm, that all our guests danced the whole night. I had several friends come up to me and say they had never seen so many people dance at a wedding and I personally saw many older family members on the dance floor who I've never seen dance before! Besides the dancing, Isaac also played beautiful acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and worked with us to create custom arrangements of our favorite songs to match the time, vibe, etc. needed. Leading up to the wedding, Isaac was responsive and organized, which made working with him so easy. Thank you Isaac for truly making our wedding the best party we've thrown!

We decided to go with the mixed DJ and live music combo which included Chris on the Saxophone and Lucas on the guitar. Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing their jazz duo was during cocktail hour. Isaac absolutely knows how to command a dance floor. He read the room and put out incredible music tailored to our tastes with seamless transitions and mashups. The dance floor was completely packed for the entire 3 hours and everyone was having a blast. He played a solid hour and a half with Chris and Lucas playing sax and guitar. Our guests keep talking about how that was the best dance floor they have seen. I would not hesitate to hire these guys. Isaac was a complete professional through the entire process and we owe it to him for putting on a great wedding!

Issac really made the difference in our wedding being so perfect, and we cannot thank him enough. In addition to being our DJ & MC, we also had Issac perform an acoustical set during the cocktail hour and he did not disappoint. Issac played every song we requested acoustically, and to a very high degree (and I will admit, never hearing his vocals, we were a bit nervous, but he did a terrific job, and it was exactly what we could have hoped for!). Our guests raved about how great the music and vibes were from beginning to end, and we could not agree more. Issac has a great website/platform, payment system, music selection process, and dedicated the perfect amount of phone time for us, which we were very appreciative because it shows he is committed to providing the best experience for his clients. He also provides a great template for you to input all of your song request for every moment of your big day. Typically, DJ's do that and then end up only playing a 1/3 of your request, but we can honestly say that Issac put us first and played 99%, if not 100%, of our song request so we were STOKED, as were our guests. Of course, he did throw in his twist and share of jamz, which we also appreciated. Playing the music/songs we requested really helped set the vibe we wanted during each hour of our big day. A day after our wedding, we received a mixtape from Issac that contained ALL of the songs played at our wedding. We were in shock and almost teared up. Issac took the time to record and make a seamless mixtape of our big day, and it's really something we cherish and repeatedly listen to on the reg! Also, just want to note that listening back to the mixtape, you can easily see the amount of effort Issac puts into making the mixtapes as the song transitions flow extremely well, better than any wedding we've been to in the past. We truly believe that made all the difference and literally kept all of our guests out on the dance floor for the ENTIRE night. Issac truly went above and beyond to make our day so special, and we could not be more grateful. From start to finish, his services, communication, payment platform, and the entire process was a total breeze, and that's definitely not something you find easy when dealing with wedding vendors; so THANK YOU, Issac.
