We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! He took the time to really understand the type of music we wanted and delivered the perfect soundtrack for the entire day. Every song felt spot-on, keeping the energy high and the dance floor full. On top of that, he was a master MC — engaging, professional, and seamless in guiding the flow of the night. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had, and a big part of that was thanks to him. Highly recommend!

Me and my husband are so grateful to Brett for DJ'ing our wedding in April of 2025. From the very 1st phone call Brett was helpful not only with the DJ services but with timelines and even gave recommendations for other services we needed. Whenever I had a question, he was patient and kind. The week before the wedding my daughter and I spoke with Brett on the phone and he totally met the vibe we were going for! The day of the wedding Brett was fabulous, not only did he do a great job DJ’ing, but he also went the extra mile and made sure we were all taken care of at all times! We loved having Brett dj our wedding! You could tell during our intro call that he had his routine totally dialed in, we were very impressed. He’s worked our venue before so before we even got to our list of questions he had touched on almost everything we wanted to know. We didn’t realize before speaking with him how much impact a dj has on the flow of the whole day. He did an amazing job of highlighting key points we wouldn’t have even thought of. I had very specific songs I wanted throughout the day and I was able to share some Spotify playlists to make sure we heard them all. For dinner hour we just told him the vibe we were looking for and let him run with it, which was great. The dance floor was awesome! He did a nice job of throwing a couple songs in to make our parents happy, and then pick the beat back up so nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. One of our favorite vendor calls leading up to the wedding was our last call about the music, it got us so excited for the day. He is a total pro and I’d absolutely recommend using him for your wedding!

No venue too big, no venue too small! We hired Brendon for a smaller back yard wedding. He treated us with respect, was professional, attentive, and straight fun through the whole process! He took charge from the beginning with setting the mood as guests arrived, to the wedding, wedding party intro, and took requests from our guests as the night continued. He always had a smile on his face and enjoys what he does!

Music and the DJ are the hidden secret that push a good wedding to a legendary wedding. Brendon was very attentive to what we wanted to have played and the style of wedding we were going for with the music style. Not only did he do a perfect job during the ceremony, but absolutely crushed it during dinner, dancing, and the dance party after. The energy was so positive and upbeat. We had the most incredible wedding and Brett from Music Magic was a huge part of that. He worked great with our wedding planner and our performer/Emcee. He was able to play all the songs we requested and had a great playlist for everything else. He brought the vibes and everyone had a great time! But what we really loved about Brett is how excited he was for us, it felt like he was genuinely invested in making sure we had the best day. Not hoping to throw another wedding but if we have an excuse to hire Brett again we absolutely would!

As the mother-of-the bride, helping plan my daughter’s wedding was a little stressful and frightening. Music Magic DJ was recommended to us by our venue. We couldn’t be happier and relieved we chose them. From my first phone call with Brett I felt comfortable and confident we made the right choice. He explained basically our whole timeline and assured us our DJ Brendon would take care of the flow of the ceremony and all to follow. Thank goodness for that, as we had a lot of hiccups with the venue and event coordinator. The bride and groom did choose some special songs and allowed us to choose a few also, but they let Brendon organize his playlist and add out songs to it. It turned out AMAZING! Brendon is professional, kind, fun and totally able to read the crowd and vibe. In what was an exciting but somewhat stressful day, Brendon was one of the few who took our stress away and helped make the special day beautiful and fun. We could not have found a better DJ for our wedding! Brett was truly fantastic and went above and beyond. Our venue had listed Music Magic as a preferred vendor, and when I reached out I immediately knew he was the right person for the job. On our first call, he walked through a plan for our evening. He was flexible in how much of the music planning we wanted to be involved with (we decided to do our own Spotify playlist for cocktail/dinner and then suggested dance songs). He nailed the dance floor vibes and did a great job as the emcee to move the night along - we received so many compliments after the fact! He also was professional, timely, and made sure we were clear on the details in the weeks before hand. Brett clearly knows the Tahoe wedding scene and gave us tips about our venue. Highly recommend using Music Magic of Lake Tahoe for your wedding!!

Brett is nothing short of amazing!! Not only was he so easy to work with, he totally understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding and he helped us throughout our wedding and not just with the music! All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun the dancing was and how great the music was - all because of Brett! I will suggest him to everyone who asks!

Brett from Music Magic of Lake Tahoe was fantastic. He was prompt in replying to our emails and texts and was consistent in communicating with us on regular intervals before the event. On the weekend of the event, he was punctual and incredibly professional. We had several last-minute changes with regard to our venue, and he was incredibly flexible and accommodating. He even refunded us for some weather-related incidents that were out of our control, which we sincerely appreciated. We would highly recommend him. Lastly, we had a song on our list of “do not play” that was requested by one of the guests. Brett kindly asked us during the event if this was okay, which we were sincerely appreciated. The only feedback we received was that during the reception, several of the guests in the back of the venue had difficulty hearing. We aren’t sure if this was necessarily an audio-specific issue, a guest-specific issue, or if the guests were loud and it was difficult to hear regardless. But other than this issue, Brett was fantastic.

I was pretty nervous booking a DJ I didn't get word-of-mouth from, but after how easy it was to book, i.e no hassling calls, avoiding straight up answers on pricing, haggling every little add on (I dealt with these issues from 10+ DJ's I reached out to), I took the chance! I communicated with Brett, and had Brendon at our wedding. Brendon was so attentive to me and my husband that day (moreso than any other vendor I had). He was always making sure we had drinks in our hands, the schedule staying on time and any adjustments we wanted, and were having a good time. He even offered my husband a mint before the ceremony...! Overall really happy with their professionalism and ease to work with.

We hired Brett in January for our wedding in August. What was great about Brett is during our initial phone interview we just knew that this is the guy, let’s book him now and get back to the other things. Leading up to the wedding he was touching base which we truly appreciated. He cared about the flow of our wedding us much as we did. We actually got really lucky with all our vendors and our wedding weekend turned out amazing. Brendan was awesome! He kept the night moving effortlessly and the dance floor packed alllll night. He was wonderful with people of all ages and read the crowd flawlessly. Our power went out 2 hours prior to the wedding and no problem, he showed up with a portable generator. You will love him! Brett is awesome too- he was MY DJ way back in 1995! You do not have to second guess your choice.

A perfect night! Music Magic made it all happen and we couldnt be happier. We arent big dancers and had a more intimate setting with abut 40 people. They provided a timeline for the evening that worked out great as I hadnt hired a wedding coordinator and there was a perfect mix of music throughout.

Amazing! Brett and Music Magic were integral to the success of our wedding, from the ceremony thru cocktails and dinner, to keeping the dance floor packed all night! We had our nuptials on the beach, cocktails on the lawn with dinner and dancing taking place inside. He had a setup for each and was ready to go in all locations before guests arrived! I only have positive things to say about Brett!! He was the DJ at our wedding at June Mountain earlier this year and was pure professionalism. He had great communication from the very beginning and kept us on track. When it rained during our ceremony, he quickly went into problem solving mode and adapted. Brett is extremely positive, polite and fun! He works with you on your song suggestions, takes the time to learn your vibe, and reads the crowd so its never a dull moment. We hired Bret for our wedding of 100 guests at our rural property near Grass Valley. He came prepared, was professional, very flexible with our music choices, was always checking to make sure we were having a great time. He was very attentive to my mother and kept her stress level down. He also played a role in coordinating and keeping things on track since we didn’t have a day-of coordinator. There was a power outage during the ceremony and dinner and he had enough battery power to last until it came back on. We also attended a relative’s wedding in Incline Village a couple months later that Bret happened to DJ and he did a phenomenal job with that as well!

Brett was the best DJ!!!! The music was exactly what we wanted, our dance floor was packed during the ENTIRE reception, it was great energy! Brett was also more than a DJ, he was always let us know what was happening next, how much time we had until the next event (speeches, cake cutting, etc), and even brought us drinks while were taking wedding photos in the cold rain! Brendon was an amazing DJ for our wedding!! Leading up to the event both he and his dad Brett were very communicative and had lots of good ideas for us. We really wanted to come up with our own playlist to utilize during cocktail hour which went fantastic. They were on-time and enthusiastic throughout the entire process. Brendon ended up being the go to person for keeping us on schedule throughout the event and even had a funny surprise that led to lots of laughs (I won't ruin the surprise in case you use them yourselves!). These guys are amazing! From the moment we booked them they were a huge help. Brett went above and beyond from what we were expecting from a DJ! He recommend vendors, worked with us on a timeline, and on the wedding day stepped up when our coordinator was unable to make it! On the big day he took behind the scene photos, kept us on track time wise, communicated with other vendors and photographer very well, and best of all always made sure my wife and I didn’t have an empty cup! Between this Dj and our photographer they truly made our wedding a stress free day!

I’ve had the honor of working with this company on a personal and professional level. I met Brett’s son, Brendon at a wedding I was photographing. I instantly saw how good he was at his job. He was extremely good with the crowd; fun and professional. Never once does Brendon make the day about him, whereas I feel a lot of DJs do. Brett was simply the best DJ for our wedding! From the beginning he was easy to talk to and always responsive to my questions (and there were a lot of them). I was undecided on our first dance song and Brett offered to mix the two together, which I hadn’t even thought of. We ended up going with just one song, but I love that he was willing to accommodate my indecisiveness. Our day went so smoothly and Brett was a big part of making it happen. First, the music was cued up perfectly during the ceremony. Then, during the reception he checked in to make sure we were on schedule and was great about checking with me when a couple guests wanted to make unscheduled speeches. And of course the music and dancing! We danced the night away and what I appreciate most about Brett was his flexibility. When the vibe of the group tended toward more club music (which even surprised me), he quickly changed up his set list at our request and kept everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the night. This DJ was awesome! I spoke with Brett via email but my DJ ended up being Dale! He was the best. He not only contacted me via phone but he had a whole timeline set up for me that made choosing songs so simple! I had a special request for Dale to make a mash up for two songs for a brother sister dance. He not only did that for me but even edited it, a few times, so that it would be just right. This company is not only professional but they were super fun! I was the least stressed with my DJ experience during my wedding planning. Danyae was also a huge help! She would contact me when Dale couldn’t and she was such a huge help on the wedding day when it came to song changes and timing. Your wedding day is very busy and she was always there to help You get to the next “moment”. Overall I was SUPER happy with my DJ experience and I’ve already recommended them to a friend! From the moment Crissy and I met Brett, our goal was an EPIC party. Brett made sure that we exceeded that goal. We decided to have a San Francisco 49ers themed Wedding. Brett worked diligently to get us some AMAZING sound bites of 49ers highlights and Monday Night Football muic. He helped us find the perfect song selections for the entire event. Great host and knows not to talk too much. Total professional in preparation at old venue with loading challenges. He did so well, he was our only choice for another event a year later.

Brett was amazing!!! From the very first meeting, he made us feel so comfortable and assured that our special day would run like clockwork. He was always very easy to get ahold of via text or phone call, and actually came out to our venue a few times to address a few concerns we had with the setup at the venue. He kept us on schedule the whole day and everything ran so smoothly, and kept the dance floor packed all night!! Even my dad, who doesn't dance, was on the dance floor! Brett was so attentive to our needs and even brought us a plate of appetizers and drinks while we were taking pictures. He even managed to capture my very favorite picture of me from that day...sitting alone in the dressing room making final edits to my vows.
