Music Phreek DJ & Lighting

s of our venue so it had a charming, romantic feel. I called every place I could find on the internet - none could do it under such short notice. I posted on a group facebook page and Vynce responded. We met the very next day and he was amazing to work with. Easy to communicate with and his pricing was beyond competitive. It was absolutely perfect and his team truly delivered. It was beautiful!!

remely easy to talk to and provided us with a detailed guideline of all the music that we needed. He was accommodating to all of the requests we had and even had a nice QR code during the reception for guests to request songs. He engaged with the crowd and made sure we all had fun. Thank you so much Vynce for an amazing time!

azing ability to keep the energy flowing as both a DJ and emcee. Our couples are always so happy with him, and I truly trust him to make every event a success. My husband and I even chose him to DJ for my own wedding, that’s how much we fully endorse him! Beyond his mixing and professional skills, he’s just a great person, gives back to his community, and I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you, Vynce!

even took the time to meet with our wedding planner so we could review the music lists together, which was incredibly helpful. Vynce offered thoughtful recommendations, was always open to our suggestions, and truly tailored the music to our tastes. Last but not least, his energy is fantastic. I was especially nervous about our grand entrance, but Vynce hyped up the crowd and made it feel fun and effortless. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and personable DJ.

ade the entire planning process so smooth and stress-free, and he was a huge help in keeping the night flowing seamlessly. From the timeline to the music, he had everything covered. Our guests had a blast, and we couldn’t have asked for better energy. Highly recommend!

d to make sure me and my husband were happy all night. Everyone also loved the photobooth we rented through Vynce. His prices are very competitive with other wedding DJs in the area, but Vynce's professionalism, energy, and dedication are totally unmatched! Do not hesitate to hire Vynce for your wedding!

ne our music selection, turning our chaotic playlist into a well-crafted soundtrack that perfectly captured the mood of each moment. Vynce’s timing was flawless; he played each song right on cue and brought an amazing energy as our MC. His thoughtful touches throughout the day made our wedding celebration even more special. He offered creative ideas, took a few surprise photos and videos (which he later shared with us!), and truly acted as the glue that kept everything running smoothly. For anyone looking for DJ and/or lighting services, we wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to Vynce and the team at Music Phreek DJ & Lighting. They brought so much joy and professionalism to our wedding day, making it unforgettable!

ine to ensure we had all the big moments and smaller details covered. He also provided helpful insight and input on what he has seen work best for wedding timelines and to keep the crowd partying all night long. Our dance floor was always packed and he kept the energy up throughout the entire event. We could not be happier with having Vynce as our DJ. We also hired him for draping in part of our venue which looked amazing!

own to earth. The music guide he gave us for the wedding day was very helpful in trying to nail down our music choices for specific moments. Vynce was familiar with our wedding venue and even provided his input on how things flow to reassure us how the day would go. His energy throughout the evening was great, and was very friendly to us and all guests. He made sure the people were excited, and hyped up for all moments and hit every queue perfectly. Thanks Vynce!

song preferences and style and was very accommodating to our many song requests. We had found him via Yelp and were a bit cautious of booking a vendor that had not been recommended to us by our planner. However, he introduced us over email to another couple who had their wedding at our venue and they quickly replied that they highly recommended hiring him - and they were right! During our wedding he kept the flow of the ceremony and reception going so smoothly. The uplights he provided also transformed the space, especially during the dancing portion of the night. The main comment we keep getting from our wedding was how our guests had never seen such a consistently packed dance floor at a wedding, and we attribute that all to the amazing DJ Phreak! We would definitely recommend that anyone book with him for their upcoming event!!

usic is at a wedding. He kept the party going and knew exactly how to hype up the crowd. He played a great mix of our music so there was something for everyone. He was able to give us great advice leading up to the wedding. The rest of his team did a fantastic job with the Photo Booth. He even gave us some pictures and videos the next day. Thank you for everything Vynce!

emeanor had us excited and his professionalism and experience made it an easy decision to book with him. He also had a lot of extra offerings that made for a seamless experience, like photobooths, lighting, and more. We booked his time as our DJ and also booked the photobooth and colored uplighting. It was super easy to work with Vynce, as he provided us with music checklists and guidance, and he was super responsive via email. Leading up to the wedding, we provided him with our music list(s) (based on his guidance sheet and our preferences), including our special songs, must-plays, and do-not-plays. We had a final phone call to talk through the details and make sure we were on the same page, which left us feeling really confident that everything would go smoothly and Vynce would help us throw the party of our dreams! (and he did!) The day of the wedding, he checked in with us on the uplight colors, was easy to work with any time we had questions, was a great emcee guiding our guests through the various stages of the evening, and did an amazing job keeping people on the dancefloor all night long! He was able to read the crowd and us as a couple so well and incorporate the right music at the right time, including things that weren’t on our original list. The only thing I wish we had thought about beforehand was checking that the venue allowed explicit music so he didn’t have to default to clean versions of our music initially. We realized this later into the night and eventually were able to switch to explicit – so something to keep in mind but absolutely wasn’t a dealbreaker on our wedding night and we had an absolute blast! I would definite hire Vynce, Music Phreek, again for any type of event and would recommend him to be your wedding DJ – but only if you want to have an amazing time on the dance floor all night long!

He is extremely responsive and thorough in asking questions to help ensure our day was exactly what we wanted! He also gave a lot of great suggestions regarding day of set up and how things should flow from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception. He was also very lively and fun, he knew how to hype up the whole wedding at the appropriate times. Would highly recommend for anyone's wedding!!!

throughout the night with our ad-hoc requests. His energy is definitely what you want out of any vendor on your wedding day -- super fun/enthusiastic, while on top of it, inspiring confidence. He was experienced with our venue, also provided the lights, and kept our pre-wedding meetings very efficient.

of the way. He helped us build our track list and gave us advice that was super helpful, especially when we were feeling overwhelmed and clueless. He did a great job working up the crowd and getting people on the dance floor. I would (and will) absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any event. On top of that he is a joy to work with, extremely friendly and charismatic!

y that he puts into his sets is spot on and upbeat. Vynce made sure that all the request we asked for happened. He also gave very good suggestions from his past events that ended up turning out the best. In addition, his assistant was amazing in helping capturing memorable photos and fun videos. Our wedding reception was an unforgettable experience that everyone enjoyed. Excited to have another event just to have him DJ again!

nd for designing the music lists. He was instrumental (haha) in helping us organize our music and shaping many of our key moments throughout the evening. He also had great suggestions for extras and lighting (like the cold sparklers) which were definitely a hit with us and our guests. We highly recommend Vynce for any event (wedding or not) that you can, he was incredible.

any songs were needed for the day. I loved being able to choose the exact songs I wanted to hear. One of my priorities for our wedding was to have everyone out on the dance floor - and Vynce made that happen! I also loved receiving all the copies from the photobooth after the wedding - was so fun to see who took what pictures and can cherish those (goofy) memories forever.

helped us install incredible lighting on the lawn of our venue, which helped allow us to enjoy our dinner outside with our wedding guests. I am a sucker for string lights and can't say enough good things about the lighting Vynce installed to help brighten our big day. I look back and smile at all of the photos, in large part due to the beautiful lighting. Thank you, Vynce!

ere stressed about, but everything turned out wonderfully and our guests had a fantastic time. A lot of that was thanks to Vynce, who was on top of everything and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure we got the wedding we always wanted. We are so grateful to him for being there. He was also a lot of fun! He worked with us to create a playlist that fit our overall mood and took the time to understand what we were going for. He knew how to keep an energetic, lively atmosphere going that brought people out to the dance floor to live it up and enjoy themselves. 10/10 experience

or and also had a photo booth setup and nothing disappointed at all! The music, ambience, decor and overall vibe of our wedding was perfect! So thankful to have had him on board. If you’re hesitating, don’t! And just hire him! We and our guests had a great time with him. You will not regret it one bit. He communicated with us before our wedding a few times to make sure we had our playlist setup and even checked in on the day of a couple times and it went absolutely smoothly. Thank you much Vynce!

vides his own equipment and even with an outdoor setting in Mission Bay, the sound/music seemed like it was encompassing our party and it felt like we were the only ones there! He curated the perfect playlist for our reception, ranging from k-pop, to oldies, to Bay Area hyphy with excellent transitions; all our guests had a fun time and expressed how much they liked the song selections. I would highly recommend working with Vynce for your event!

he event exactly what we wanted. I HIGHLY recommend Vynce. We have received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was and that would not have been possible with Vynce.

esome DJ!

eeds, sticks to the timeline, and knows how to wrangle ... let's call them ... challenging guest requests. Vynce met with me and my husband two times (And some "phrantic" additional phone calls from me, bless him) and we felt so prepared and happy that our Pre-Ceremony, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner Hour, and DANCE FLOOR BOOGIES were taken care of. His equipment was totally awesome, perfect sound levels, and made everyone sound like rockstars and professionals (even though all our speakers and even officiant were 1st timers). I also hired him to put up bistro string lights that hang half way between the roof and the floor. It really gave a magical feel, and I'm also a sucker for suspended lights. The picture shows the added lighting Vynce and his team installed for our wedding at Kijamii Overlook. Again, you need to book Vynce Pham, the Music Phreek DJ for your sound and lighting for your event.

ocess, as well as helped us out a ton with sharing his experiences with other events in the past (we had no idea what we were doing). He walked us through how the night could go, giving great direction. The night of the event was awesome and many of our guests came up to us after the wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed the team that night. Overall, I'd recommend the team to any friend or family having an event in the area. I don't think you could go wrong!

guided us in the music process for our wedding and making it our own. Everyone enjoyed dancing and he kept the vibe going all night. on top of all that he helped me with keeping the time-line moving along and that was a huge help.He was super fun and super professional, a great combo.I would highly recommend his service with confidence.

oductions and he kept the dance floor alive all night. In preparation he worked with us to create our event playlist that was timed for all the right moments and it couldn't have been easier. We had a few of our guests specifically mention how outstanding the music was and how everything flowed perfectly. I felt like the mood was right but it's good to know that others appreciated it as well. The photo booth and lights were a hit too. We couldn't have had a better experience all in all. Thanks again Vynce!

e our grand exit one to remember. Vynce was also very personable and great at communicating. 10/10 would recommend!

nd. Vynce was always in good spirits, was always professional, and was super easy to work with. Our wedding ceremony was outside right next to the trolley tracks and some of our guests even mentioned how great his sound system was. Even as the trolley drove by, they were able to hear our officiant speaking and our vows clearly, so his equipment is top notch. He really kept the crowd alive and made sure to keep our dance floor full. Not to mention that he transformed our venue with beautiful uplighting and market lights that made the space more intimate. Our guests had a truly wonderful time dancing the night away and we can't thank Vynce enough for making our special day a true party.

! We had several phone meetings before the wedding to discuss what vibe we were going for, as well as our preferences for specific songs (walking down the aisle, parent dances, etc) as well as our “do not play” list, which he respected! He was professional and good natured in all of our interactions and we would absolutely recommend him for your wedding or big event!

and was an outstanding MC. The photo booth was a hit, and his team helped everything move smoothly. I cannot emphasize just how wonderful of an addition he was to our day, and hope that he can be a part of yours :)

make the wedding of our dreams come true. He was also great at making recommendations for lighting, fog, pictures and processional. I wish I could have Vynce at every wedding I attend from here on out!

y going. We even had an emergency situation during the reception that he handled really well. He was really supportive and made sure to play all the music that we really wanted to hear. He was extremely organized and went out of his way to set up lighting for us at 7am the morning of the wedding with less than 24hrs notice. There was a miscommunication w/ the venue and they completely threw us all through a loop the day before the wedding but Vynce completely rolled with it and did not sweat it at all. Go with Vynce for DJ (and bonus, he offers lighting too) needs and you'll get so much more, you won't regret it. We certainly didn't!

ut he made the conversation so simple. He is super friendly and does his absolute best to work out everything for your special event. He is also very responsive in communicating with those he works with. During our event, he did a great job of communicating with us to confirm and discuss any and all changes, and he was able to mix together all the music that we chose fluidly. His energy was perfect to get the crowd going, and overall he made our wedding night the best night! We would recommend Vynce to anyone and everyone who is looking for an amazing DJ!

look any further :)

hey had had at a wedding. The uplighting made the evening.

DJing at our venue the day after our wedding for a different wedding. Long story short, our original DJ fell through and so we thought to ourselves "lets see if that Vynce guy is available for our wedding." Sure enough, Vynce was available! Everything happens for a reason. It couldn't have worked out any better. The professionalism, expertise, and service Vynce provided us was top tier. He is very personable and easy to work with. We happened to be fairly particular with what we needed from a DJ, and Vynce really delivered. Throughout the wedding planning, he was always present anytime we needed him for a call. He confidently took on our needs and did a great job. Highly recommended!! Thank you for everything Vynce!

ve and helpful throughout the entire planning process. He honored our specifications and wishes and had our dance floor full all night. I couldn't have imagined our day with any other DJ.

mething wedding guests were dancing the whole time. Vynce is super sweet and checked on us throughout the night. He also setup market lights for our outdoor venue, which looked beautiful. We highly recommend working with him!!!

dividual wishes. Vynce did a superb job with all the announcements and transitions through the whole event, and of course he kept the dance floor energized the whole night. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and thankful for the ease with which it all unfolded. Vynce is exactly what you want in a wedding DJ!

lect and fill our playlist. On top of that, he took some additional videos and photos for us (some of which turned out to be our favorites from the night!). He and his team are highly communicative and creative, making our wedding much more special. We highly recommend him for any event, I recommended him for my friend's wedding later this year. We also had multiple people tell us that he was the best DJ they’d seen at a wedding and we still receive compliments from his work during our wedding. 10/10!
