LOVED them!! Used them for DJ-ing, and I couldn't get off the dance floor I was having too much fun! I heard one of my guests, who was about to leave the dance floor, go "nooo too many good songs!!!" as they turned around to get back on. At one point I sat down because my feet hurt, Larry asked me if there was anything I wanted, and after I told him I was having so much fun, but my feet hurt, he pointed out that my wedding planner had gotten me to bring flip flops for everyone just in case, and I was SO happy. Everyone had so much fun and so many people complimented me later on how great the music was and how much fun the dancing was. He did a great job managing the crowd, ensuring everyone was having fun, and keeping the energy up.

We loved working with Music Source Media! They found the mix of music we were hoping for, even a more obscure album, and our guests had a wonderful time dancing all night! Our DJ was very thoughtful and a great emcee. The photo booth was also a huge hit, especially with the kids, and we loved flipping through the album to see all the pictures. Big thanks to the MSM team for helping make the day perfect!

Oh my gossshhh! I would give them 100 starts if I could! The photography/videography crew for our wedding we’re absolutely AMAZING! They walked in and immediately eased all of my nerves (it was supposed to be an outdoor raining, and it was pouring down raining). They were very patient and tended to all of our needs. From getting our drinks when we needed some, directing guests out of the way, and hyping our guests up! Needless to say, we were SPOILED. I can only remember one of the photographers’ names (Tyler), I wish I could remember everybody else. Music Source Media definitely made our big day a lot less stressful. We haven’t received our photos or videos yet, so I can not give a review on the quality. But I’m sure they will be amazing! I can’t thank you guys enough for being apart of our special day. I will be recommending you guys to everybody I know! ☺️♥️

oh my gosh I couldn’t recommend them enough!! We hired them for the DJ and photography package, they were very punctual, and super professional. Larry did a fantastic job DJing, from the ceremony to the grand exit, he got the vibe right for our very diverse crowd! Also he and Barbara were great with the timing of the music and photos, very accommodating and helpful. Barbara, the photographer, everyone absolutely loved her. She kept us on time, she was direct with what she needed which I loved, and was just incredibly flexible. We could not have had the beautiful wedding we did without them, hands down. They were just absolutely perfect <3

We hired Larry as our DJ, and we also used their photo booth services, both of which far-exceeded my expectations. Larry is the man! No one sat at our wedding because everyone was too busy dancing. Our friends and family continue to talk about how much of a blast our wedding was, and a huge part of it is due to Larry, who didn’t even once complain when I had last-minute requests. We cannot thank him and his team enough.

We used Larry and his team for DJ, photobooth and videography services and could not be more pleased! We still hear about how amazing the music was and people had a blast in the photobooth. The important songs were played with no issue and the dancing music kept everyone on the floor the entire night. The dinner music was just right (instrumental upbeat jazz). Larry was a dream to work with and we would highly recommend Music Source Media for your wedding DJ. Months after our wedding, our guests are still talking about how much they loved the music at our wedding and danced all night. From the beginning, Larry was so responsive via email and he gave us a form to fill out that asked thoughtful questions surrounding what songs to play, what songs to avoid and what genres of music we preferred. We held a call with him before the wedding and he was engaged and thoughtful. We were also able to secure the photo booth from him, which was a huge guest favorite at the wedding, and his team even gave us a book with the photo strips in them afterwards, which was so sweet. As a Brooklyn, New York-based LGBT couple planning a wedding in New Orleans, we needed vendors who were organized and responsive and also accepting and Larry delivered. Larry was such a pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend him.

Larry did a great job at our wedding. Neither of us are huge dancers, but with his ability to play to a crowd we stayed on the dance floor for almost the entire night along with all of our guest. We requested a dance party with throwback nineties jams with classic reception songs thrown in the mix and that's exactly what we got. Everyone had such a a good time, and several people have commented how personalized our playlist seemed to be. The dance floor was packed all night and it really made our wedding video that much more special. I highly recommend Larry and Music Source Media.

It took me a little while to get around to writing this review but I guess "better late than never". From the beginning of my wedding day to the end Barbara and her other photographer were very patient with me. I have to admit I was sort of a "bridezilla". But they kept up with me and did everything I asked of them. I can't wait to see how everything comes out but I know it will all be perfect. They even sent me a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding. I have no idea how they had time to do it that fast. We will be recommending you to everyone we know. We owe y'all big time!

I was very hesitant at first because their prices are so low compared to other wedding videographers but our videos came out amazing and we all cried watching them. Highly recommend!!

Hiring this company was the best decision I made in the entire wedding planning process! We are so happy with our photos and videos. They delivered on everything they said they would.

While Larry was professional throughout the planning process, when it came down to the actual wedding day, we were all very let down. The DJ played the wrong version of the song for the wedding party to walk down to and didn't know what to play when my husband and I came in for our first entrance among other issues despite the fact that I was asked to provide 10 pages of instructions that he clearly took no time to look at. All 600 something of my pictures are just plain horrible. I definitely am the most upset about this, obviously. The photobooth girl was using her phone to view fb all night and was unprofessional, despite the fact that Larry tried explaining she was solely using her phone for photobooth purposes. I clearly saw her on fb, many times. The videographer got minimal things that I requested in the hour and 20 minute video we were given, despite the fact that they were hired for 7 hours. The best thing we received out of spending $3500 was a 3 minute highlight video, which still has it's issues. After expressing these issues and many others to Larry he simply apologized, but lets be real here that does nothing for us now. There was absolutely nothing done or even attempted to do to make things right or even try to help any of the situation. He simply explained he's never had anyone dissatisfied with all aspects of his companies service, well Larry, we were! I'm beyond upset with what we got from this company and wouldn't recommend them, at all! Do your research and find more well known vendors with more reviews to go off of. This was by far the biggest let down out of this entire wedding process.

As promised to this company, I would write a raving review because they truly deserved it! I booked the DJ + Videographer package. The prices are extremely affordable (my initial reason for contacting), both for what's included in the packages and the end product. Larry is so nice and easy to work with. I was probably most nervous about music because it really sets the mood for the night, and I was so pleased. I don't like typical "wedding music," and Larry made sure to give us some different songs to dance the night away to. If you have genre preferences or even a few songs you like, Larry is a music magician and will make sure you are satisfied. Barbara was our videographer and she was equally as great to work with. Although we hardly got to talk the night of the wedding, she was so nice and always everywhere, yet so hidden. Watching the wedding video had me grinning ear to ear because it reminded me of a lot of moments I had already forgotten about and showed me a few things I didn't know was happening. She missed nothing! I received the highlight video shortly after our wedding and there were some things I wanted changed about it, and Larry was SO very kind to me about it (cause I felt like such a turd to even be complaining) and promised to do whatever I wanted to make it perfect. Let me tell you, HE DELIVERED! I have watched the highlight so many times. When I shared it on social media, everyone raved about it. Also, Larry pointed out very early on that I had not purchased the full wedding video and asked if I wanted to add it before any footage was deleted, and we did. I was so lucky he caught that and reached out because that saved the day... or the wedding, really! Good luck finding any faults from this company, but if you should so happen to, I guarantee they will remedy the situation and leave you happy.

Larry was the perfect choice! Leading up to our wedding, Larry met with us and answered all of our questions and was very professional. Music Source has many different options when it comes to services and the prices were very good. Our package included a DJ, photo booth, and a videographer. Larry did an incredible job as our DJ, playing great music that kept all of our guests dancing and having a great time. The videographer was so nice and professional and did not slow down the entire evening. The photo booth was a big hit with our guests and after the reception we received a copy of every picture in an album. We just received our video and we love it! It was exactly what we were hoping for. I would highly recommend Larry for any event and especially for weddings.

I loved loved working with Larry at Music Source Media! My friend recommended him after she used him for her wedding (which we had a blast at) and has referred him to other friends as well. Larry sent me a detailed list to fill out, which really put me at ease to see how organized he was. He DJ'ed our ceremony and reception (including announcements) and it all went off perfectly. He played a great mix of music (including ones we had requested on the list) and everyone was dancing all night. I would absolutely recommend using Larry for your event!

We received the recommendation for Music Source Media through our venue, and it turned out to be a great recommendation! We booked DJ & Videography through MSM. Let me start off by raving about Joseph, our videographer! Our families very much wanted to us to have a videographer and we ended up hiring through MSM as we liked the highlight reels and the price was right. We figured if the videographer showed up with a tripod and got the ceremony, we'd be happy. Joseph arrived to do record, and did an AMAZING job! He worked really well with our photographer, was really personable, and joined the party. He even dove in to help with cake cutting when my husband and I were floundering. Joseph was great (and we can't wait to see our video!) Our DJ through MSM was really great, too! The set up was professional and looked nice, and he stuck pretty closely to our must-play list. We asked him to read the room and keep the party going and he did a GREAT job. We picked a few line dances figuring our crew would need it to keep the party going, and he never had to use one! Larry was able to handle planning 100% via email (my preferred method) and had a great pre-planning survey that was really thorough. We highly recommend working with MSM!

I chose Music Source after the company was recommended by a friend and the price was unbeatable. Although I didn't know much else about the company, I chose to go with them. This was probably the best decision I made for my wedding. Anthony was our DJ and he was SO GREAT. My family is a big, loud, always-dancing Cuban family and I married into another big, fun, dancing family -- an epic dance party was a must for us. Anthony had everyone dancing all night,so much so that we extended the wedding. He also did a great job of incorporating latin songs as I requested. Every one of my guests still raves to me about the wedding, especially how fun it was and they all say that we had the best DJ. Thank you Anthony!!!

One stop shop! If you're looking for a vanilla sound, mediocre staff, and dull energy... look elsewhere!! We hired MSM for photography, videography, photo booth, and DJ for our Baton Rouge plantation wedding of about 250 people in August 2016. I was hesitant at first as I've known Larry since college & working with friends does not always pan out. MSM exceeded all expectations! Here are my thoughts: ABBREVIATED: Planning the music, photos, & video was my biggest anxiety inducer, but Larry made it painless by being readily available, listening to my desires, & putting them all into action. I received SEVERAL complements from guests throughout the night & months later, commenting on the attentiveness & amazing energy of MSM staff. Most of the time photographers/videographers can get in the way & kill the vibe to get that perfect shot. MSM did the exact opposite - they blended in so well that I forgot they were even around. MAJOR KUDOS to Larry and his team for perfectly capturing my special night so that I may enjoy for years to come! DETAILED: - Photos: I gave them a list of photos I wanted throughout the day and I'm relieved to say they got every single one of them. As the wedding was in the dead of summer, I was very adamant about rushing through formal photos which can be difficult with my massive family, but they had us done in about 30 mins. They also did a great job of capturing all of our guests & candid photos as requested. I can feel the excitement every time I look at my pictures. READ: My pictures were available less than a month after my wedding!!! That's unheard of! - Video: LOVE our highlight video! I was very specific on the feel that I wanted, but didn't know how to express myself. Larry was a great listener & MSM did an incredible job of capturing the spirit and vibes of the wedding/reception without "getting in the way". The highlight video was completed in a month & a half (also unheard of) & we just received the full length video this week. I even made a special request to get all audio from the entire day. - Photo booth: We had an open air booth. MSM brought tons of amazing props & had an amazing attendant to assist guests. At the end of the night, I received a book with all photos taken and notes from guests. What a nice touch! - DJ: MSM provided my ceremony & reception music. My husband & I are huge music buffs so we had to ensure our music was going to be perfect. I made a playlist on Spotify, picked songs from MSM's song list, & gave some notes on what was expected. The ceremony ran smoothly with perfect timing. At the reception, Andrew did an incredible job playing everything we requested, making announcements, & keeping the party alive! EVERYONE - young & old - was getting wild on the dance floor! I've been to weddings where the DJ was subpar or awkward. This was not one of those weddings. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOOKING MUSIC SOURCE MEDIA (THE WHOLE PACKAGE) FOR YOUR BIG DAY!

Larry and his team were the BEST from the beginning to the end. They were very easy to work with throughout the planning period, and seemed to understand everything we wanted after we explained it only one time (unlike some vendors). Their photographers were active and courteous at the same time, the music provided by Larry was AMAZING and kept the party going the whole night, and the uplighting they used made the reception absolutely perfect. Many of our guests (and my husband and myself!) keep saying that the music provided by DJ Larry was the best part of the whole wedding. I HIGHLY recommend them! You won't be disappointed!

We use Music Source Media for all of our events. All of our brides are ecstatic after working with them. We have had some bad experiences with our clients using other vendors in the past but since we starting referring our brides here they have never been happier.

We were very excited to be able to get all of our wedding services (DJ, Photobooth, Video, and Photo) from the same place. This made it much easier to only have to deal with one person. Larry takes care of the arrangements for everything! Makes everything much less stressful. He showed us how everything they provide is redundant. There are backups for literally every service. We actually needed one of those backups when my brother spilled a drink on the DJ's mixer at the reception. I thought we were done. The DJ simply pulled a spare out from under his table and kept going. Larry wouldn't even let us pay for the broken mixer because all of their gear was insured anyway. Great Job! Made our day easy!

Truly a great company to work with! I review all of my vendors honestly because I believe everyone benefits from honesty. And HONESTLY this was my favorite part of the wedding! Photos were amazing!

Larry is the bomb.com! Seriously the best Dj in Louisiana! So much fun and very easy to work with! I'm actually a photographer and secretly wish he would DJ every wedding I shoot! The last wedding I photographed, Larry was the Dj and when I say that the guests never sat down the entire night, they all danced the night away! This is coming from the biggest bridezilla there ever was. I was "that bride". Larry and the music source were with me every step of the way. At the last minute our plans got turned upside down and our entire schedule was changed. Larry's photographers and video people adapted and never missed a beat. Kept my stress level down the entire day! They even made it tons of fun! Constantly making me smile! My sister had used them for her wedding and thats where I got their info. I owe my sis big time for referring them!

We used this company for my daughter's wedding last weekend in Baton Rouge. Amidst all of the flooding and devastation in our area they were still able to make it out on time. Most of our other vendors had to cancel (understandably) but the music source was there with photographers, dj, and video ready to go. We had to piece together our special day because of everything that happened. Alot of our friends and family were unable to get out here because of the flooding. I was impressed with this company before, but after this weekend I am so thankful for them. Thank you again Larry and the music source for everything you guys did!

Me and my family were a little nervous about getting all of our vendors in the same place at first. "All of our eggs in one basket" kinda thing. But we trusted the music source to provide our photos, video, lighting, music, and our monogram. We couldn't say enough good things about the job they did. I usually don't write reviews but I had to give it to these guys. Great work!

July wedding! Can you say, hot! We hired Music Source Media to do our wedding video during our very hot outdoor wedding and reception in July. While several of our other vendors had issues with equipment overheating or simple general discomfort lol, these guys kept it classy. It was 2 of them and they acted like it was NBD. I am from Wisconsin so my skin melted off. Thanks again Larry and Alexei for hanging in there with us! Video looks awesome!

I have never hired a DJ before and I was quite nervous to. I have heard of some really bad ones and I didn't want to have a bad experience. When I first spoke with these guys on the phone they mostly set my mind at ease. You are able to speak directly with the DJ way before the event (which was great) and we were even offered the option of a meeting (we are from NYC so that wasn't possible). Once our wedding day arrive the DJ was on time and dressed very appropriately. He was polite and went above and beyond his contract. If you are a first timer like me this is the company you want. highly recommended!

Saved our butts! Larry and his team were hired to do our DJ, Photobooth, and Videography at our wedding. We had hired another company to take our pictures and they didn't show up! Luckily Larry had a full set of photography gear in his car. At the time this happened I was just happy to have anything. I didn't honestly expect top notch pictures because it was so last minute. BUT we just got our pictures back and they are better than we could have ever imagined. Perfect details and perfect lighting. We looked for a photographer for several months before deciding on ours and he was a no show. Larry thank you again for everything you did. These pictures are amazing!

We were more than pleased with The Music Source on our wedding day! They captured beautiful photos and we also have a fantastic wedding video. The photo backdrop area was a hit during the reception and included fun backdrops and accessories. Quality work!

I met Larry about a year ago at a wedding expo in New Orleans. He had a big impressive booth setup right in the middle. We must have talked for an hour about all he had to offer. I was a little nervous to book him for photo or video only because I didn't know anyone who had used them before. We went ahead and used him for only DJ services and Photobooth. Both were amazing. Since then I have had 3 friends of mine use them for photo and video and all 3 have been singing his praises. The only mistake I made was not hiring the music source for everything they offered. The photographer I ended up using was twice as expensive as these guys and was terrible. Meet with Larry and book him for anything you need.

Larry is a friend of mine so I knew he would do a wonderful job. He absolutely surpassed my expectations. Our wedding video brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it.

We have had such bad experiences with DJs over the years but from now on all we will use is The Music Source. I am a district manager with Allied Health Services and we throw a very large 4th of July party every year. This year our DJ was excellent. 5 stars!

We had no idea what we were doing when we went to hire a DJ and Photographer for our wedding. Larry with the music source was the first number I found online. We were able to get everything we needed in one place and he even gave us recommendations for almost every other vendor we booked. Our wedding was on 06/25/2016 and we already received all of our pictures. They are amazing!

My mom took care of hiring all of my vendors for my wedding. I was way too stressed out to deal with any of it. I have to say out of all the people she hired Larry and Barbara were the best. We had several problems with other vendors but not one single issue from the music source. Our dj and photo booth were very cool.

music source did an excellent job at our wedding this past weekend. They came highly recommended by our venue and our coordinator so we hired them even without meeting our DJ first. This made me a little nervous only because I am old fashioned. However, once our wedding day arrived everything was perfect. My mother even commented about how friendly the DJ was and how she liked the music. My mother doesn't like music.

I got this company's information from my cousin who also used them for her wedding. She raved about how great their DJs are and how well their pictures come out. I have to say she was exactly right! We received way more for our money than I would have ever thought. We had Andrew as our DJ and he kept up with my crazy family all night long. We had Alexei and Brooke as our photographers and they were just as fun. They knew how to break the ice and make it very comfortable for me and my family. If you want to have a good time you should specifically request Andrew, Alexei, and Brooke!!

We had to hire Larry and his team last minute but he came through for us 100%. We used these guys for Disc Jockey and Videography and both were awesome. My friends and family still talk about how excellent that highlight video was.

The Music Source did a fabulous job playing the special songs we requested at the right times and the DJ was very open to requests and very friendly. The only concerning part regarding this company was that we had no contact with them from signing a contract in July to a few days before the wedding in June. I had to get my wedding planner (who recommended them, Bridget from Southern Belle Events) to get me the song form to fill out with our first dance song, etc. 2 days before the wedding! It just caused additional stress. Other than that, the DJ played mostly what we requested and it was really fun, great memories!

AWFUL!!! We hired them to play at our wedding reception in New Orleans. Worse mistake I made, first of all he messed up everyone's name when he was introducing the wedding P arty , we asked him to play a song when they were introduced and he didn't . The set up was horrible , sound was AWFUL! I gave him a list of Spanish songs to play but I thought he would know to mix it up a bit . He played them all back to back . The only reason we hired him was because he was highly recommended by our wedding planner "Souther Belle Events" Bridget but it was literally the WORSE!!! It was very dissapointing .

The music source did ou wedding this past weekend and it went great. The photographers knew how to make it tons of fun for me, my wife, and our guests. Their packages are excellent.

I have known Larry for a long time so it was no surprise when his company did a wonderful job at our wedding. Happy to spread the word!
