Music Therapy Dj & Photo Booth

Our experience with Music Therapy DJ and Photo Booth for our wedding was incredible! Scott was professional throughout the entire planning process and flawlessly played a mix of songs to cater to the different crowds at our wedding to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. Guests also LOVED the photo booth and we loved the guest book of duplicate photos our guests took throughout the night. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and can’t recommend them enough!

Scott met all of my expectations, and having not gone through this before, he walked me through everything step by step, and I really felt like I could relax when the time came. He checked in with me before the wedding, as well as throughout our wedding day, and it really put me at ease. One piece of advice I would give, is to really account for your day of schedule. I think due to the way we set things up, it felt rushed, but only because we didn’t leave enough time for certain things. However, Scott really walked us through it, let us know what we could do, gave advice, and ultimately left every decision up to us. He really read the crowd so well and all of my friends and family raves about how great the DJ was! We were very thankful we found him when we did, considering we were late to the game. He was very accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better time!

Scott was the DJ at our wedding and he was amazing! I had a phone call with him, he sent us a small packet to fill out, and then we had a zoom call with him to go over the schedule. He was awesome at the wedding! We did a brunch wedding and did a bunch of nontraditional things and he made the process go so smoothly! Perfect transitions and he kept the dance floor busy the entire time. Highly recommend him! He was so easy to work with and was a lot of fun!

Music therapy- Scott is awesome!! Prior to the wedding he sent us a guild so we couold pick songs and set up how we wanted the reception to run. After turning that it, we facetimed so he could truly get an idea of us and what our vision is. HE NAILED IT. He is so versed in how weddings flow, music that gets people dancing, and how to feel out a crowd. Music therapy also has the option of a Photo Booth add on- DO IT. The booth is sleek and professional- it looked in place at the venue. The Photo Booth was NEVER empty. The guests loved it and the photos we got from it reflect how freaking fun it was.

We can’t say enough about what a great job Scott did fir our wedding!! He kept everything on track, especially when I was lost in it all ! When things went a little if track he jump in abd got things going right. We even moved what we said was dance are and he quickly got everything set up and ready to go. We even found out that evening that another family member used him for their wedding abd they were just as happy

Scott is great both for helping you organize what you want to get for music, and will approach you during the evening to make sure the night’s pace is just want you want. If you struggle to think of specific songs, he’s got a great recommendations too! The photo booth was so worth it too!!!

Scott was easy to communicate with and professional from the planning stages, setup, and through the event itself. Beyond just providing music, he was a super fun MC! He kept us on time with the "formal stuff" to ensure we had lots of time to dance. He excelled at taking our eclectic taste in music and making a playlist that was enjoyable for everyone (no easy task). Scott kept the dance floor hoppin'! Everyone had a fantastic time, and he was a big part of the reason why. We recommend Music Therapy to anyone and if we are in need of a DJ in the future, we know who to call!

Scott was amazing and so easy to work with! I’ve never obviously had a wedding before but without his help I would have missed all the major things! His music was great too! Just what I asked for! He helped so much and was so kind and nice to work with! 100% recommend.

Scott with Music Therapy was incredible. He answered all my questions right away and walked me through everything. I didn’t have a day-of coordinator, and he was able to get me the perfect time line for my day and kept it on time for everything. He accommodated all of my last minute changes and requests with a smile. I forget the name of my photobooth attendant, but he was just as incredible. He had all of my guests laughing, and kept the props clean in between use for covid safety. I would send everyone I know to Music Therapy without hesitation.

I would definitely recommend Music Therapy DJ and Photo Booth to anyone who needs a DJ for their upcoming wedding! When we first started looking for DJs for our wedding, we were overwhelmed with the process- we didn't want to waste time looking through a ton of websites and interviewing potential DJs. We heard about Music Therapy through a family friend, and met with Scott back in December, and he instantly made us feel more at ease with the entertainment. He personally has been the DJ for hundreds of weddings (so he really knows what he is doing), and asked us to fill out a packet of information with all of the songs we wanted to be played. We got the uplights too (which definitely added to the great atmosphere at our reception). Prior to the wedding, we met with Scott at the venue, and discussed the packet we filled out. We had a few songs/genres in mind, but Scott really inquired about playing specific artists/genres to include in his playlist (which was a huge help). He also helped us structure the entrances, cake cutting, and special dances towards the beginning of the evening, so we could have more time to party. On the day of the ceremony, Scott was the first person at our venue, and set everything up perfectly. And once we got there, he met with us right away to go over the game plan. Scott did an amazing job keeping us on track and playing all of the songs we requested. I would 100% recommend Scott and Music Therapy to anyone who is looking for a DJ. If you don't want to waste time playing games, Scott is the guy for you!

Music Therapy was awesome! We never had issues communicating with Scott and though I was worried about the acoustics at your venue (Mapleside Farms Barn) HE KILLED IT! He made the whole process easy and straightforward and when picking music he knew when we said song “A” that we also would love B, C and D; he was spot on every time! Our guests danced the night away and multiple people complimented the DJ and music selection. Such a wonderful night and really thanks to Scott for keeping the party alive!

Scott was AMAZING! He and his company responded so quickly always, he was thorough with song selections, and day of he had a great energy! We had a pretty diverse crowd and he kept everyone in a good mood and dancing. Would highly recommend him and his services!

Scott was amazing to work with getting all the details arranged. The template with ideas for script and timelines was SUPER helpful organizing things during the planning stages. The DJ, man with a plan Brian French, was wonderful beyond words. From handling all necessary announcements, to the ceremony and reception music selection, right through all our little twists that we through in. He was there through it all, and handled it with poise and aplomb. We had no real idea what even should be in rotation for dinner music and reception. With minimal suggestions, he handled it all flawlessly. I received several comments from guests about how pleasant and helpful he was. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend.

DJ Scott was amazing. We had 2 meetings before our wedding... one to simply meet him and discuss what we were looking for in a DJ, and a second one closer to the day to go over music and timing. Everything went flawlessly for the ceremony. As an MC, he truly made our reception run flawlessly and helped us to relax as he queued people giving speeches and when dances were happening. As a DJ for our dance floor, we couldn't have asked for a better one! DJ Scott played a great mix of what we asked for, and what he thought we might like based off of that. We had 80s throwbacks, 80s throwbacks, current pop, all different genres, and our dance floor was bumping with guests all night long. No one wanted to stop dancing! DJ Scott really took care of us and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a very high quality service with an extremely reasonable price tag.

Scott was beyond awesome as the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. Not only was he extremely helpful and accommodating during the planning (we live out of state and he was very flexible with meetings), but he kept the dance floor packed all night long! We are so glad we went with Music Therapy and we highly recommend them!!!

We selected Music Therapy Dj & Photo Booth due to it's high reviews as well as their all-in-one packages which ended up being a considerable value for what we ended up adding on. Had we sourced a DJ, photo booth, uplighting, and monogram projection separately, it could have been easily 150% or double the price! I recommend looking into the bundles, which we had tailored as well. We had Scott for our wedding (the owner) and he was GREAT. We had several meetings leading up to the big day which made me feel very confident! He gives you a detailed questionnaire of what genres you enjoy, what songs you DON'T want played, etc. He does a good job of reading a crowd to know what will keep them on the dance floor... I don't think there was a time during our reception when the dance floor was empty! (We also picked some well-chosen genres which would go over well with our crowd!) Would highly recommend to anyone!

DJ Scott at Music Therepy was amazing!! From beginning to end! The planning was seemless and easy. He took all the stress out of it for me. And the music was spot on! All night long and for days after the events, guests were talking about how great the playlist was. I

Scott and Music Therapy were absolutely incredible. From the first meeting through the night of the wedding they did everything possible to ensure the night was exactly as we imagined it. Scott is fantastic at reading the room and the energy on the dance floor was there all night. He also did a great job in coordinating the events and dances throughout the evening. Scott was perfect! He was very professional. His announcements and introductions were accurate, just as we had planned. He had the music cued up perfectly for our ceremony. It was seamless! He played everything I requested for the prelude/seating, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He didn't leave out a thing! His selection of music got people on the dance floor and they were having a great time! We actually could have gone on all night! I was thoroughly satisfied with his services. He helped our wedding turn out to be the best night of our life!

Scott played what we asked for and kept everyone dancing! We loved the arabic music the best!! Wonderful evening had by all!

I can't figure out how to give a rating that's between 4 and 5 stars but we we would rate Music Therapy at a 4.5. We really loved the music selection - he understand our taste in music as a couple, gauged that we had a young crowd that wanted to dance and played music appropriately. Scott was also great about remembering our special requests and playing songs like "Rains of Castamere" from Game of Thrones during our dinner. Finally, we have to give him special credit for getting all the pronunciations of name correct. We had a lot of international folk in the wedding party and parents, whose names needed to be announced correctly, and Scott did not disappoint. The only reason we are not giving a 5/5 is because we received some complaints from guests that the DJ was rude towards them. However, he was GREAT towards us and we specifically remember the music being excellent and the dance floor being packed the entire time. Also, the photo booth was awesome!

We hired Music Therapy to DJ our wedding this past month and it was a fantastic experience. We had Scott (DJ/Owner) and he was very responsive and professional. He made sure he knew every detail leading up to the wedding and throughout our big day he kept everything running smoothly. We stayed on track the entire event and that was in large part because of Scott making sure we were where we needed to be. He took care of the ceremony music and sound and it went off without a hitch. Throughout the reception, he played great music and there were always people out on the dance floor! The dance floor lights included in the package were nice as well. We also had a photo booth which was a huge hit! Everyone loved it and the photo album we got back at the end with everyone's pictures / notes was amazing. We loved looking through and seeing all the fun our guests had. I would absolutely recommend this company (and specifically Scott) to anyone looking for a DJ or photo booth!

DJ Scott was amazing to my husband and I! We were on a tighter budget, and he gave us a discount so we could have the photo-booth at our wedding. There was a minor issue in the timeline the day of the wedding but he still went with the flow and made everything work for us! We are so grateful for how kind and professional he was throughout the day making sure our day was truly the best day ever. All of our family and friends didn't leave the dance floor all night! I would recommend DJ Scott to anyone looking to have an amazing day at their wedding!

Scott, owner/DJ, of music therapy was amazing. We were fortunate to meet with him twice and each time he was extremely personable and was truly interested about my wife and I. The 2nd time we met we went over the music we would like to listen to as well as what time of freedom he should have as a DJ. We gave him a list and other then that we trusted his judgment. Scott did not disappoint. He kept the room full of high energy all night. We also took advantage of the up lights which looked phenomenal in the room we partied the night in. All I all I rate Music Therapy and Scott a 5/5.

We are SO happy we went with Music Therapy for our wedding reception. Not only was Scott extremely professional, but he tailored the song choices to the atmosphere/attitude of our group and had everyone up and dancing the whole night. Additionally he kept everything on track so the reception flowed smoothly. As the bride and groom the night is a blur and Scott would come over and give us a subtle cue before each event (cake, bouquet, garter, etc). We had multiple guests afterwards tell us what a great job he did and how impressed they were and we couldn't agree more. Scott Doland (the owner) was a fantastic DJ. He was exactly what I was looking for in music entertainment, he didn't make our wedding about him -- he played good music, worked hard to make sure our introductions and names went smoothly, and kept us on schedule (ceremony, entrance, cake, first dance, etc.). He was flexible with my best man, who made a few song requests and he stuck to our "don't play" list. Before the wedding he met with us a few times to walk through the day. He also did the music and mics for our outdoor ceremony, which was fantastic. Overall, Scott is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a stress-free, laid back experience. He really wants you to enjoy your day, and I really appreciated his help and service. Thanks Scott!
