We recently hired Musicbox for both Oconomowoc High School's Homecoming and Prom school dances. We were super satisfied with their professionalism, communication, timeliness, and of course music performance! Steve is awesome to work with, and his team is knowledgeable of high school students' music interests and event needs. They created an awesome, hype environment with their equipment including color changing uplighting. They played top 40 hits, which is what our students requested and "read the room" well when it was time to switch songs. High school students are extremely particular about music, and they left both our homecoming and prom dances raving about the music and DJs! This is a WIN for us! Thank you Musicbox for accommodating us and providing our students memorable school dance experiences! We would highly recommend this company for your musical needs!

Steve was great to work with through out our whole wedding. He was professional and courteous and treated us like family. He even threw in sparklers and the led love sign at no extra charge. He was accommodating to our guests and knew how to get them dancing! Thank you for making our wedding memorable and special!! ❤️

Steve was the best, he played everything we wanted and nothing that we requested he didn’t. He took care of our sound throughout the entire day, he worked flawlessly with us and our other vendors, and made sure our day ran smoothly. DJ was the #1 most important thing to me on our wedding day and Steve absolutely killed it!

Steve was such a great DJ and so much more than just a DJ on our day! Steve brought us water right after our ceremony during pictures, he cleaned up drink spills on the dance floor the minute they happened and he played any requests that I had asked for on the day. His sound system was great, all the guests could hear the speeches no matter where they were in the room which was very important to us. Steve took my vision and executed it perfectly on our day. He is so kind, so caring and so personable. We also booked the closed Photo Booth through MusicBox and it was incredible. So fun to have so many photos and video clips from our guests and the guests raved about it. Do not look further, book with MusicBox Entertainment today!

They were amazing! We did both DJ and the photobooth, and everything was so fun. We never had an empty dance floor, and the DJ listened to everything we were wanting during the party. The photobooth was such a fun touch, and we got to keep all the silly photos forever. The DJ checked in on us throughout the night and even brought us water when needed. He was so great!

Used this vendor for our August 27, 2022 wedding! I cannot be more happy with everything that Steve and his helpers contributed to our day! He was very easy to work with, responsive, arrived on time, helped set up, and more! He was a huge positive light and help to make our day everything we’ve dreamed of and more 💕 we rented big marquee letters that spelled “LOVE”, Cold sparklers, and a 20 x 20 LED dance floor. All three allowed me to get a really good price compared to other vendors in the area. The dance floor was a huge hit with everybody! Everybody still talks about it. A lot of people I talk to or surprised that I was splurging on this addition to the wedding day, but in all honesty it was one of my favorite splurges! It made everything so much more special! Our entrance was unforgettable with the cold sparklers, and all of the pictures were so cool with the dance floor and the letters! GO WITH THEM!

Steve was the DJ for my wedding this past weekend and was excellent! He played great music all night, and the dance floor was never empty. He read the crowd and could tell what everyone wanted. We had a ton of compliments as well from friends and family. Steve is super personable and easy to communicate with. On the day of he also kept everything running smooth! Highly recommend!!

The music choice was great and the sound of each song was clear. Anytime someone would request a song he made sure it would be played. Steve is very friendly and his assistant that helped run the Photo Booth are both great. They gave us a scrapbook to put the Photo Booth pictures in and I thought that was really cool. Large variety of music from any genre to appease guests of all ages. I would highly recommend Musicbox for your wedding or any event large or small.

My husband and I worked with Steve via email to book his services for DJ and Photobooth. He was recommended by my Maid of Honor who had attended 2 other weddings they worked. He was super easy to talk to and book with!! Anytime I had a question I would shoot him a quick email and he would respond in a timely manner! About a week before our wedding I realized we didn't have ceremony music and was able to book that with Steve as well! The Thursday before our wedding (Saturday), my husband and I hopped on a call with Chad (who was our DJ) and talked through EVERYTHING. With stress running high so close to the wedding, he made us feel at ease and brought back the excitement to our day!! I knew we made the right choice when that phone call was filled with laughter! Chad was able to accommodate any requests we had (including announcing our wedding party in WWE Michael Buffer style). Harrison worked our photobooth and both him and Chad were great to work with!! All in all, Musicbox was affordable, professional, customizable and FUN! We even had a "no choreographed dance song rule" (the chicken dance, cha cha slide, etc) and when one of our guest requested one of those songs, he made sure he got the thumbs up from my husband or I before playing it. He cared about our little details and helped to make our wedding the BEST day! Highly recommend!!!

Steve did a fantastic job with keeping everyone on the dance floor and was really easy to work with! If I had to do it all over again he would be my number one pick!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Steve went above and beyond for us and made sure everything was perfect. The photo booth was a hit. He reached out to me ahead of time to make sure everything was in order correctly and the day of too. He even uploaded photos and videos he took of us that were awesome!

We chose Musicbox to DJ our wedding on 9/30/22, and even before the event, we knew we were going to have a pretty great DJ, but they truly exceeded our expectations by far! Steve was incredible! Between the communication before hand and being so easy going and understanding with all of our requests, to the ceremony music, the reception, the photo booth (a huge hit), the beautiful lighting, and making sure everything in between flowed so smoothly, we really couldn't possibly be happier! Steve was so fun and so personable and made our special night one to remember! We had tons of compliments from our bridal party and guests! We first met Steve at our friends wedding last October. At the time we didn't think we needed a DJ until we met Steve! From planning to execution, he is #1. He was very attentive to our needs and requests and helped provide ideas about when and how to do the traditional (speeches, dances, etc) and non-traditional (group picture, etc) wedding ceremony tasks. Very affordable DJ service. The playlists throughout the entire wedding were spot on for what we wanted. One note is that communication was bery informal. Emails all said “sent from my iPhone”, the form for song requests was outdated, and I reached out about a schedule of communication first. Overall leading up to the wedding I was a little worried because I prefer a more formal and organized form of communication, but the wedding day went perfectly.

Music box was the best vendor we’ve ever worked with! They made our wedding the best night of our lives!! From honoring our requests, to keeping us on schedule, and keeping the crowd entertained, I would highly recommend using them for your event! Thank you guys!! ♥️

Steve was great to work with and such a nice person!! He was very communicative from the very beginning to the end. He listened to what we wanted/didn’t want and followed through! We could not have asked for a better DJ service! We worked with Steve the entire time and he was extremely responsive over the planning months. We then had a phone call with him a few days before the wedding to go over details. We had another call call 2 days before our wedding with Chad and we got to get to know each other and talk about more details. Chad and Harrison were the actual DJs at our wedding. They were AMAZING and our guests were raving about them. Guests asked if they were family friends because of how well they connected with everyone. Chad kept everything on track and made sure things went smoothly from the ceremony to “CLOSING TIME”. 🎼 Chad even went to the bar to get us drinks during dinner and then checked in intermittently to make sure we were doing ok! The dance floor was always busy!! We also did the LOVE letter add-on option which was a very nice touch! Highly highly recommend Musicbox.

Steve from Musicbox Entertainment was AMAZING! He agreed to meet with us a year before our wedding so we could get to know him. We instantly saw how outgoing and friendly he was and were totally sold. There were so many things I was very specific about that I wanted for our day. From fading in and out of several songs at different times, to someone that keeps the dance floor packed and the party going. Steve exceeded all our expectations. We got so many compliments that it was the best wedding people have ever been to and how our dance floor was just unmatched. He even made such cute videos and pictures from our day! Totally unexpected! Truly the best day of my life! Thank you for all you did, Steve! You rock!

If you are getting married, you need to hire Steve and his team for your wedding. When I say perfect, I truly mean it. Please trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. Steve early on made it clear that he was there for us to always call or answer questions via email - no matter how many I threw at him! He has a detailed questionnaire he has each couple fill out, and I truly felt like Steve knew us and our style so well. He spent over 30 minutes on the phone with us the week of the wedding to talk through everything. He did really special things like mixing songs, changing songs at very specific times, and making sure to play specific songs when I was on the dance floor so I wouldn't miss out. He also brought a pop up photo booth. This is an absolute must for your wedding! They brought props for people to use, and they give prints to each person in each picture for free, and customized them with our names and wedding date on them. There was a line of people doing it! So fun for couples, and groups! At the end of the night, they kept one copy from every picture taken and put it into the most amazing scrap book for us as a gift that our guests had signed. It brought us so much joy to look through it, and our guests kept raving about it! All of the logistics and payment were so smooth too. If you are getting married, having a family reunion, a birthday party, or any event at all, you need to hire Musicbox DJ's. You will not regret it!!!

Steve was the DJ for my wedding. I randomly found MusicBox through a google search. We decided to go with Steve over 2 referrals that we were considering, that's how much we liked Steve. Steve was very personable and easy to work with. It seemed like he had a good sense of what we were looking for on our wedding day, and he didn't disappoint the day of. The music was great, from the ceremony to the dinner and the reception. He helped with facilitating the ceremony entrance, grand march, best man/maid of honor speeches, getting people to sit for dinner, ushering tables to the buffet, etc. He worked well with our pastor, and all of the other vendors Everyone loved the photobooth and everyone danced the night away. He brought great entertainment to the wedding! He definitely went above and beyond for us and played a big part of us having an amazing wedding. I highly recommend!

Steve was a pleasure to work with from start to finish when it came to planning our wedding. He did a great job with our ceremony music, making announcements during our reception, organizing our grand march, and keeping the dancefloor packed. He was such a help during our reception and kept us organized. Kody was assistant DJ and did a great job with the music and taking requests from our guests. We can't thank Musicbox enough for a terrific job!

Steve and Chad were the DJs for my wedding and they were amazing. They played all the songs i had given them and even mixed in a few that i didnt think of but fit into the moment perfect. They were flexible when I wanted to add in a grandpa and bride special dance and were able to get the song quickly (literally minutes before I wanted to do the dance). They kept the dance floor busy all night. The photobooth was perfect- I did open air with all the props and it was perfect and They were able to print multiple copies of the strips and even created a book for me. They made my night better than I imagined! Highly recommend them.

Matt was our DJ for our ceremony and our reception. He did a fantastic job and our guests loved the music that was playing all night. He took requests and was very personable and everyone loved him. Steve was great to work with while we were getting everything situated prior to our wedding. He answered all my emails timely and helped suggest songs when I was at a loss. We are so grateful that we had this amazing company at our wedding. We would recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks for doing such a great job!!

Steve was great! We were an out of state couple, so we never actually got to meet before our wedding day. We filled out an information sheet with everything we wanted/did not want. We literally talked on the phone 5 days before to confirm our itinerary. The photobooth was a HIT, our guests had so much fun. One thing I would've changed about this is that I wish we could've choose what the picture print outs looked like. The text was kind of boring and the color didn't have anything to do with our color theme of the wedding. I have been to other weddings where the photo print off for guests was really cute. We added the LOVE letters last minute for an extra photo backdrop. Steve also suggested the "cold sparklers" for our grand entrance which was SO cool! I am thankful he suggested these 2 extras. The one other complaint was that we talked about doing an anniversary dance, which never happened. Overall, we had a great experience. I also think this was very reasonably priced. Steve had a great DJ voice, and did a great job keeping us on track and introducing our bridal party. We chose a variety of music, which was fun for our guests. Thank you Musicbox!

My husband and I are beyond obsessed! We worked with Steve and he was very attentive to detail throughout the entire process! With the pandemic, all of our correspondences occurred via phone calls and email, but Steve's personality still resonated through both communication methods! He was so quick to help make our night as fun as possible and tailored every aspect to sync with our personalities. We even had a few people with odd requests and he came right up to us to ask if this was allowed and then was firm with the guests when they continued to ask him to follow through with these requests that we previously and politely rejected. His booth setup and extra amenities were so cute and worked so well within our event. GO WITH THE COLD SPARKLERS! This was a last minute addition a few days before our event and the entire reception hall LOVED our grand entrance! Pictures turned out amazing because of it too! We also utilized his giant L-O-V-E letters and this was a great picture opportunity for the guests as well. You WILL NOT be disappointed with Musicbox Entertainment!

Steve is nothing short of fantastic! I cannot recommend him & his team enough. We had them do the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & reception, as well as provide the photo booth with props. Our dancefloor was completely packed the whole night, and everything went off without a hitch! Steve was great at working with me to choose exactly the right songs for each part of the day, and played all of the songs that I specifically requested during the reception. You definitely need to book them!!!

They did such an amazing job at our wedding reception! DJs Chad and Harrison had great personality, they knew what songs to play when and kept the crowd on the dance floor! They were so friendly and really made the experience very personal and special for our wedding day! They were very prepared too! They provided a questionnaire to complete in advance that was very thorough and made sure to include any special requests. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Steve is amazing! I hired musicbox for my wedding day in August 2021. They are so quick to respond to any questions I had quickly. Very friendly people. Steve and Jay were amazing! Communication was excellent and even though I wasn’t feeling well at all that day, Jay adapted extremely well. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent service!

Chad was the best DJ ever! From the very beginning when the threat of rain was happening with in a hour of the ceremony! We really wanted to be outside and chad said he would go outside in the rain if that’s what we wanted! He did an amazing job being the MC. He walked us through every step and kept the reception right on the timeline! He had the dance floor packed the whole night! We highly recommended them!

I would highly recommend these guys 1000x over. Steve and Chad were both amazing and friendly. When I received an email from Steve about being the DJ for our wedding, I knew I wanted them to be a part of it. Just from the email, it felt like it was personally written for us, and they stood out from the others. Chad had everyone of all ages on the dance floor all night. He was so friendly, happy, and energetic! He was so personable to everyone that multiple of our friends came up to ask if we knew him personally! They played all our music requests, and even made our special request better than we imagined it would go. He even planned out a surprise birthday shootout to our friend in such a great way! He communicated so well with us about any changes to the schedule, but he never forced us to hurry along to keep to the schedule. He gave an amazing, quick speech at the end of the night, and closed out the night in such a great way. There needs to be more people that know about Musicbox Entertainment. They are WELL under-reviewed.

Choosing a DJ was a difficult task for us because it was so important that we have an awesome emcee who played music that we loved and would keep our guests on the dance floor. At the same time we had a budget and it seemed like so many others charged thousands more than we had to spend. My first phone call with Steve, the owner felt so right because he was kind and down to earth, yet had an outgoing personality and helpful spirit. Chad was the lead DJ at our wedding and he blew me away with his professionalism, kindness and upbeat attitude which encouraged everyone to have so much fun. He wasn't pushy with the timeline, very chill, yet still made sure we accomplished all the special dances and announcements that were important to us and our family. One of the best memories was Chad helping me surprise my husband by playing the Jurassic Park theme song as he walked down the aisle with his parents. So awesome!

Steve was the best! Our dance floor was going ALL night! This shocked me since we had a bit of an older age group. He had a great variety of music and played everything we requested.

Musicbox entertainment was a great wedding DJ!! Steve was great, very personable, and easy to work with! He had the dance floor filled all night. He brought some up lighting that just made our outdoor wedding complete.

We 100% recommend Steve and his company!!!!! Steve was a wonderful person to work with, he made the whole experience easier! He took all of the music that I wanted (a large list) and made each and every song work at different times through the night. He also helped make some un-expected fun things happen during dinner and helped when my grandfather-in-law wanted a spur of the moment dance with just me, the bride! Steve was a calming presence when we needed one and helped casually move us along and keep us on track! He never made us feel stressed or rushed, and he ALWAYS had a smile on his face!!!! Steve even snapped some GREAT photos on our wedding night and sent them to us the next day, before our photographer had ANY to share with us! It was so great to have a few moments captured right away to relive the night. Honestly, you can tell he's just a down to earth, FUN presence who is obviously in the right job!!! HE IS EXCELLENT!!! You will not regret booking him!!

Musicbox Entertainment is great! Chad and Harrison are a must hire. Chad kept everything moving at the pace we needed while staying on schedule with the venues needs as well. We felt no pressure as a result. We knew we were in good hands. They kept the dance floor full and us at ease.

His response time to any questions was usually within the hour, which was greatly appreciated. Chad, our DJ, did an awesome job for us. Steve was absolutely wonderful at our wedding!! Not only was the dance floor packed but he was also super attentive to me (the bride) needing water or anything else. He was so nice and easy to work with and everyone had an amazing time!

We hired Steve (Musicbox DJ) for our wedding in 2020; however, COVID changed all the plans. We still had a wedding as scheduled, location changed to our backyard, and then decided to celebrate on our one-year anniversary in 2021. We still had a credit from Musicbox and Steve joined us for our anniversary celebration. I was absolutely impressed with the equipment that he brought, the lighting really enhanced our venue and the music was "spot on" with the requests we made, the way the crowd was read and overall enthusiasm of the group. I would highly recommend Steve for an event! Thanks again Steve for making our celebration perfect!

IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD! Steve and his team at Musicbox entertainment don’t mess around when throwing a party. We had Chad DJ our wedding and I can’t emphasize enough it was the party I’ve always dreamed of. We were in contact with them prior to the night of and went through things over the phone, which made my husband and I feel really good leading up to the day. He has the perfect DJ voice too! I told him my only request was to keep the party going and he did just that! Guests at our reception said things like “your DJ was a badass” “best dance floor I’ve ever seen” “most fun at a wedding I’ve ever had” “I don’t dance at weddings usually but I dance all night”. I cannot recommend them enough! I want to find out which weddings they are going to be at just to tag along and party it was that good! Do yourself a favor and book them, you won’t be disappointed.

Chad was the DJ for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Every single song they played had people dancing all night!!!! We filled out a questionnaire with them and then they called to review it asking questions about anything that might’ve been unclear. They took our specific requests, used that to find our style, and played every song! We also added on the photobooth and they came with sooo many props and our guests loved it and also adding a little note with the scrapbook they provide. Chad worked so well with our planner and photographers to make sure everyone was constantly on the same page too! Even with slight changed in our timeline, everyone was communicating so well that no detail was missed. Having a huge party was such an important thing for us and Musicbox entertainment delivered that and so much more. They knocked it out of the park and I don’t think I could find a single thing they did wrong! Absolutely amazing company!!! I’d give them 10/5 stars if I could!

Our goal was to make our wedding as much fun for everyone else as possible, and Steve did a great job in accomplishing that! I've been to several weddings where the dance floor was empty the whole night, and that was not the case for us. Steve did a great job working the music and keeping everyone engaged and having fun all night!

Steve and his team are great! They were prompt in responding to any questions we had for them, always professional when communicating with us, and best of all they knew how to follow directions. We weren't overly picky with what we wanted, but they nailed the evening! Before the wedding, we filled out a questionnaire that covered all the bases including asking what sort of personality we were looking for -quiet, average, or outgoing. I thought that was a great question to have, as my husband and I had been to many weddings where we felt the DJ was too outgoing and ruined the atmosphere. The night went perfectly, they kept people out on the dance floor all night long, myself included (which is impressive considering I don't like to dance very much)! I'd absolutely recommend booking with Steve and Musicbox Entertainment!

Steve and his team from Musicbox were the perfect package for our wedding! Highlights - Professional and fun! -Offered lighting and super fun photo booth - Played exact music requested! - Affordable yet reliable/great quality (not outrageously priced like some other DJs) - Really just overall awesome, stayed the whole night, made sure we got exactly what we wanted! Details: They played the exact genres of music I asked for, played my must-have songs AND made sure not to play my do-not-play songs. :) They provide uplighting which I was on the fence about wanting it, but he brought it anyway to show me what it would look like just in case, and I'm SO GLAD HE DID! It honestly made the whole environment feel elevated -thank you Steve! The photo booth was so fun! They had fun props and even made me a photo book with all the photos from the night it was so sweet. If you're having a hard time picking a DJ, go with Musicbox!

I just had a wedding with Steve & Chad!!! Oh my gosh they were an amazing pair and I would hire them in a heartbeat again and I highly recommend them for your wedding or event! I connected with Steve a couple times before the big day and he made sure he had my specific requests ready. Great communication, affordable and humble! I received many compliments on the DJs during the wedding. Chad was an amazing spokesman and was able to keep the crowd engaged throughout the night. They respected our timeline and kept my husband and I moving without worrying if we were going to miss anything. They also communicated well with our photographers to make sure we had all of our dance events in on time before the photographers had to leave. We are really happy we went with Musicbox! Steve and his team were very friendly and they had music that was good for all ages. During the reception everything goes by very quickly and Steve was right there with us telling us what was coming next. From the grand march to the first dance and wedding games. It was all planned out and that was a great relief for us to not have to worry about. Highly recommend going with Musicbox.

These guys are awesome! They pretty much ran my wedding and made it so easy and relaxing for me as the bride! My crowd isnt huge into dancing, but by the end of the night, i have no explanation as to how the dance floor wasn't broken! They had a large selection of music and catered to everyone's requests! Not to mention the equipment sounded clean and clear!

MusicBox DJ was amazing!! They made our reception so fun and also were amazing at working with our photographer & videographer you keep us on schedule with speeches & first dances. We absolutely loved having Musicbox at our wedding for our DJ. The guests had a blast, they did a great job of coordinating and planning ahead of time.
