With a range of music on hand, the firm’s DJs can adjust their entertainment persona to suit the couple’s style and the venue. Polite and courteous, these DJs know how to have a good time and strive to keep the atmosphere just the way the couple wants. The team at MusicMasters offers their knowledge as well as online tools to help couples craft a selection of music that suits them best. With a number of DJs working for them, they match just the right conductor for the evening. Their bi-lingual DJs can create a more inclusive environment for every guest. In addition to the reception, they can also create a soundtrack for the ceremony and offer lighting solutions and monogram projections for a final touch. variety of songs. I picked something outside the box for a processional song and even though it wasn't in the database on my end, they still had exactly what I wanted. They were always very responsive when I emailed with questions. About a week before the wedding, we had a call with Sue to go over everything, then DJ Joe called me as well a few days later to confirm everything again, run through the timeline, and he played snippets of each of our important songs to make sure he had the right versions. On wedding day everything went smoothly! All the equipment worked perfectly, and DJ Joe did a great job keeping people on the dance floor! He stuck to the timeline and checked in with me a few times throughout the night to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely recommend!

super easy to use where you can add songs to "must play," "play if possible," and "do not play," and list music you wish to be played at dinner or other parts of the night. There is also an event planner that makes it easy to provide all important info (i.e. other vendor info, order of wedding party announced and pronunciations, first dance/caking cutting song, etc.) and timeline of the night. Dan ended up being our DJ for the wedding as well and it was seamless. I will say he did not play a ton from our "must play" list for dancing, but we trusted his expertise. I mentioned a song my dad really liked and he got me before he played that song so I could dance with my dad. You could tell he did his homework before the first time we talked. He knew exactly what I wanted. He even went to the bar to get my husband and I champagne when it was time for toasts since we didn't have any at the time. He went above and beyond to make the night perfect.
We also rented a photo booth through musicmasters and it was the BEST photo booth ever. There were so many (SO SO MANY) hilarious props. The photo booth attendant even helped put my guest book together. She was taping the photo strips to the book and having guests write a message next to their photo. When creating the photo strips, Dan asked me for a theme so he could design it, and I just sent him a picture of our invitations showing a fall theme, and he went off of that and designed a template that matched perfectly. I will definitely be recommending MusicMasters to everyone. Dan and Sue are the best!!

our preferences. Their planning portal is great and made it easy to list our preferred songs for various parts of the day, as well as a Do Not Play list. They also made sure we connected with the DJ for a chat before the wedding so we could go over our details which was great and enabled the DJ to really dial in on what kind of performance we were looking for.
We had a large venue with multiple spaces to provide sound and lighting for, and the DJ brought enough equipment to make sure it was all taken care of without needing to shuttle speakers and such from room to room. The DJ was on-point with all of our requests both in terms of the music played as well as timing for all of the announcements throughout our ceremony and reception.
MusicMasters was recommended to us by another couple who gave them a great review, and we're happy to do the same and recommend them for your DJ'ing needs!

You can also search for everything and anything. Then after all that (we had Dan Hawkins) Dan called us and we went over everything step by step a week or so before the wedding. One other thing I want to add about the website is that you can make payments online through PayPal so it's super convenient from beginning to end--totally polished. Back to Dan--he has so much knowledge about weddings in general, the suggestions he made worked out perfectly to make it the perfect night! Dan did a fantastic job weaving in the music from the must play list with other songs that he knew would work with the crowd. He sensed what was working and what wasn't, and he played to the crowd's energy.
I can say without a doubt that we had the most intense dance party we've ever experienced at a wedding. Even our day-of coordinator and our caterer were in awe of the dance party. I sweat through my wedding dress, my husband sweat through his suit, and my father sweat through two shirts. It was not hot out, the dancing was just that smoking. Once the dancing started, at least 75% of the guests were on the dance floor until the lights went on to signal that the party was over.

DJ Jason just felt like "our DJ". He was easy going, organized and extremely helpful in assisting us with organizing the flow of our evening in a way that made sense. He was interested in our musical tastes and made sure that he had a good handle on the types of music that would appeal to our crowd. His team was accessible and replied promptly to any queries we had. He also took the time to learn the pronunciation of some of the uncommon names of the speakers at our event. On wedding day, he really excelled. Of course, the highlight of the night was the party during the reception. We heard them comment over and over again how fantastic the music was and how impressed they were with our DJ. DJ Jason went from dance set, to speeches (calling up our speakers with perfect pronunciation like they were his own family), to background music seamlessly. I talked to him briefly and didn't go over everything since I figured I had filled it out on their site and they had probably done this a million times (which is also what the DJ Justin said). Day of the wedding the DJ played the wrong song for when I was walking down the aisle which upset me quite a bit. Of all of the things for the DJ to mess up that's probably not the one. Other than that he did a good job at the reception announcing our wedding party and getting everyone on the dance floor. But the one mistake left a bad taste in my mouth. Make sure to go over everything with your DJ even if you don't think you need to. After the wedding the DJ did call me and apologize but it's a hard thing to forget.

No question everyone was scrambling to get the ceremony in before the rain and by the time he realized you had already started walking down the aisle, he felt that it would have been awkward to switch from the currently playing bridesmaids processional. Please accept our most heartfelt apologies for this regrettable miscue. We completely understand how important a bride's processional is.

intervened and I wasn't able to devote much time to completing online forms/selections, and as a second marriage with a non-typical "framily tree," a lot of the usual moments wouldn't be relevant. As the style and vibe for our wedding emerged, I sent Dan and his team an email trying to communicate the overall feel we were going for (including some specific songs and artists, as well as a few things we didn't want included). Dan picked up perfectly on the tone, and as we chatted and discovered how similar our tastes were, Dan decided to "master" the event himself. My now-husband and I knew we were 100% in excellent hands, handled everything by phone and online, and by the time I was finally able to introduce myself after the ceremony, Dan felt like an old friend. Throughout the night, we touched base, he adjusted the playlist and did just enough to encourage people to get up and dance without being in any way over-the-top - and while I was a bit concerned that guests weren't hitting the dance floor as much as I'd expected, as the night drew to a close, everyone told me they were just completely entranced by the setting, wrapped up in enjoying the evening and each other, and that the music was wonderful, nostalgic, and the ideal soundtrack for a night of love and laughter...that is, Dan did an absolutely ideal job in giving us and the people who matter most an absolutely perfect celebration. We originally paid extra for Dan to be our DJ. It was important for us to meet and have a semi relationship with our DJ prior to our wedding day. 3 weeks before the wedding, Dan called stating that he was no longer available to DJ our wedding. Initially, I was devastated becuase we booked MusicMasters 7 months before our wedding knowing that we would not have to "deal" with this issue a few weeks before the wedding. But, due to a last minute change of date with his parent's 50th wedding anniversary party (a legitimate reason)Dan was no longer available. He put us into contact with another DJ employed by MusicMasters, Justin Darling. MusicMasters also discounted our price to reflect that we were no longer having Dan as our DJ (very pleased!) Overall, Justin was phenomenal!! He understood that I was an anxious bride trying to get everything organized and took the time with me via a few phone calls to coordinate our requests and order of events. He arrived on time and was set up on time, granted all of our music requests, kept the show rolling with our timeline, went out of his way to find specific songs for our first dance and my daddy daughter dance, and was just an overall wonderful person to interact with. We had some special requests (ie. a slide show from the FOB) and he made sure everything was all set for that special moment. We could type in all of our wedding party information right to the site so Dan would have it all on hand prior to the big day, rather than hand writing everything out and sending it to him via paper. We even needed a special microphone/speaker set up for our outdoor ceremony and Dan pulled it all together for us.
From the moment Dan started the music, the dance floor was full and it stayed full all night! Even as the bride, I think I danced more than I thought I would!
