All communication (via email, text, phone, and in-person) was prompt and sufficient. Our two planning meetings with Tristen were somehow two of the least stressful days in the entire process. As we know, there are soooo many decisions to be made when planning a wedding, and when we needed help ironing out details, Tristen offered up helpful advice and solutions to help match our vision while leaving all final decisions up to us. I remember feeling a bit overwhelmed a couple hours before the ceremony as we were trying to fit in all of our photos (in crazy wind I might add!), and seeing Tristen made me feel more calm immediately. It was great to have someone to take control of everything, as MSG is so hands-on with setup, decor, communicating with outside vendors and the bar, so when you walk into your reception, you're able to admire everything you've planned without having to do any of the setup yourself, which I know is a huge relief to family members who are used to countless hours of steaming tablecloths/setting up before the wedding. The team at Mustard Seed Gardens truly does take care of every last detail, so you can focus on the most important part of your day- getting married to the love of your life! <3

From the very beginning of the planning process, she made sure every little thing was on point, and her professionalism and genuine care made our day go off without a hitch. We couldn't have asked for a better partner in making our wedding perfect and stress-free. Now, onto the place itself – the barn, the farmhouse, and the whole property are just breathtaking. The girls had a blast getting ready in the charming farmhouse, and the guys thought the grooms' room under the barn was the coolest thing. We had the ceremony under the canopy lights in the garden, the cocktail hour on the patio, and the reception in the barn. It was great to have everything in the same place, and there is so much you can do with the space. MSG also has a large inventory of items you can rent, which made adding extra details so easy. The lounge set and photo booth were both a huge hit with our guests. Our families and friends are still talking about how gorgeous everything was and how blown away they were by this place. The entire night was absolutely flawless, and I cannot express in words how truly remarkable both the venue and their team were.

Our guests raved about the ceremony setup, the beautifully renovated barn, and photobooth in the cocktail space (a must have in our opinion!). Mustard Seed also was able to work with me to create my ideal vision of an all outdoor wedding. Underneath the canopy of lights we held an extra special outdoor reception. It was my dream to have an elevated "backyard wedding" feel. With 200 guests MSG made that dream come to life. On top of all of this, I could not have asked for a better staff to work with. Tristen, my coordinator, was there along the way to ask any questions that I had and also ask me the questions that I otherwise would have forgotten about/missed. She answered my many many emails thoroughly and was there every step of the way with a smile on her face. The day truly came together because of her. And the day of-I was truly SHOCKED at how smoothly everything went. Walking into the venue the morning of can be extremely overwhelming with all of your supplies/decors and knowing your vendors will be in and out all day doing 1,000 things. I can honestly say that I stayed in the house, got ready, snacked and had champagne without having to worry about 1 thing. The staff at MSG handled any and all vendors, set up all of the supplies/decor we brought and handled any bumps that may have come up (although I dont know of any because they kept me out of it). I truly felt relaxed, secure and happy getting ready in the house all day. The staff then kept me calm as I was about to walk down the aisle. After that moment the evening was pure bliss and was executed PERFECTLY. I had so many guests come up to me not only complimenting how stunning the venue was but also how smooth everything was ran. MSG is always looking for ways to improve the venue as well. Between when we booked and our wedding day they painted the barn and added windows that provided to much natural light into the barn. Tristen was our coordinator and I cannot say enough great things about her! She was always so responsive to emails and always helped address any questions or concerns we had. The two planning meetings we had with her made us feel much better and excited leading up to the wedding. She was always checking on me during the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. te, we had to adjust our 120 guests down to 6, which was our immediate family due to the pandemic. Mustard Seed allowed us to use their newly built fire place area as our ceremony location, and at no additional cost for 2 hours! While a pop up thunderstorm happened during our ceremony, Mustard Seed had umbrellas ready for us, and made sure everything was set up perfectly, outside and inside during our mini reception. When we had our reception later in the year, they set up our decor, helped us with ceremony entrances, had a drink ready for us after the ceremony, and so much more. You will not be disappointed when you select them for your wedding venue. A special thank you to Bethany and Emma for making both of our wedding celebrations during a pandemic absolutely perfect!

Used every bit of space for our 2020 socially distant wedding, it was perfect!!

When things were moved inside due to rain during the ceremony (off-site) but then we arrived for cocktail hour and it was beautiful out, Emma personally opened and served at the outdoor bar per the original plans. She was so easy to work with and was there the whole time to make things run smoothly. Their bar staff were amazing and kind and made sure no one was without a drink. Plus their alcohol package that allowed us to choose our personal choice of craft beers was awesome and the perfect touch for this beer loving couple. I can not say enough good things about this venue and team.

On the day of the wedding, MSG had us prepared for an indoor or outdoor wedding due to rain and were very accommodating when we decided to switch at the last minute. Our guests had an amazing time and we got so many compliments on the venue and the staff. Due to living out of state, we did not want to DIY our wedding and because MSG has such natural beauty, we did not have to do a lot of decorating. We would recommend Mustard Seed Gardens to anyone and everyone we meet that is planning a wedding or event.

l like you are the only bride she is working with and that your wedding day is the most important. They are very hands on with the whole process and really listen to what you want and make sure that happens. We booked ours way in advance and what I learned from all vendors is that they get more involved in the last few months so if it seems like they don't care when you are a year and a half out it's because they have a ton of wedding before yours so do not take it personal. Everyone complimented about how it was so nice to have the ceremony and reception all at one place. The venue is spaced out so we had the ceremony at the pergola and then cocktail hour outside with cornhole games and appetizers. We did our first dance on the outside paver and then the reception was inside. Curtis the bartender was awesome and so was Wes the DJ. They really made everything just perfect. If I could relive that weekend over and over again I would in a heartbeat . Definitely worth the money to have your wedding here!

She is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and takes all the stress off of he bride, groom, and their families the day of the wedding. There are options for rentals available through the venue, which we loved so we didn't have to buy an excess amount of decorations on our own. The venue itself is meticulously kept - the grounds are gorgeous, barn is stunning, and you truly feel at home there. One of the things I love most is that you can really make the venue your own - it can be dressed down for a casual country affair or dressed up for a garden gala. Seriously couldn't have picked a better venue or team to go along with it. Would do it all again in a heartbeat.

It was clear that coordinating weddings is more than just a job to Megan and the staff at MSG, but instead a true love. This is reflected in the quality of their work and the amount of care they put forth. The venue itself stunned on the day of the wedding. We got married in the gazebo outside, which was beautifully decorated exactly as we imagined it to be. The reception was in the barn and "wow"-ed all of our guests. It seemed that every guest commented on how beautiful and unique the gazebo and barn were and are still hearing compliments about the venue 2 weeks after the wedding We can't say enough about how much we loved our wedding at Mustard Seed. d. When my husband and I visited the property last summer, we instantly fell in love with it. The gardens are lovely and well-maintained. The barn, which was built in the late 1800s, has so much character. And the team who owns and manages the property is friendly and professional. We visited MANY venues in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, and it didn't take us long to realize that Mustard Seed was where we wanted to wed. As we began planning our big day, my husband and I were drawn to the idea of juxtaposing the rustic nature of the venue with elegant details. Thanks to Pinterest, I had big dreams of white chiffon draping and crystal chandeliers. As I expressed my vision to Megan, Mustard Seed's wedding coordinator, she 100% supported my over-the-top vision. She suggested beautiful ideas, sketched floor plans, and recommended vendors to help me bring each of the elements of my plan together. On the days leading up to our wedding, Mark, the owner of the property, made our vision come to life. He spent hours (many, many hours) on ladders hanging strands of crystals and flowers, white chiffon drapes, and of course, chandeliers. He was able to troubleshoot any issues we ran into (including the fact that a different venue, which had rented the chandelier the night before our wedding, cut the cord in half) and worked tirelessly to ensure that our wedding was stress-free and everything we had dreamed of. I will be the first to admit that I am type A and particular, especially when it came to the biggest day of my life. The entire Mustard Seed team was always patient and accommodated all of our requests. They truly went above and beyond to make our day perfect. The combination of Mustard Seed's charming style and it's reliable, friendly, and hardworking team resulted in a magical wedding day that my husband, our friends and family, and I will never forget.
