I cannot say enough good things about Mary and Sara. My mom and I used them for both hair and makeup services for my wedding in April 2023. Firstly, I would like to say that I am not a person that thinks getting your makeup done usually looks good. Most of the time the person looks over done and fake with their natural features simply looking like globs of makeup. I cannot say that here- Mary is an ARTIST. My mom and I did a trial run which I HIGHLY suggest- this time allowed for us to play with colors and what we were looking for and determined what looked best. Mary truly looks at your facial structure and doesn’t cover your natural features- instead she enhances them. Regarding our hair- Sara is a mystical wizard- my hair is straight as a pin and has never held a curl, and somehow, she managed to curl it and it STAYED for the entire day. Sara really paid attention to my part and what looked best with my facial features, so my hair looked natural yet done. I honestly have never felt so beautiful and same with my mom. Mary and Sara are personable, kind, and the best part is you want to take them home and keep them as your best friends. If you are looking for a makeup and hair artist for any special occasion these two are the “IT” folks you want.

Mary and her team were amazing! As someone who on a day to day doesn't wear a ton of makeup finding a makeup artist was a stressful thing for me! From the moment I booked Mary she was super helpful in helping me decide the look I wanted for our wedding. She was always available to answer any questions I had and did an amazing job!

Mary and her team were fabulous. They did 5 makeup and 10 hair with extra time to spare before photos! They did a fantastic job and I would definitely use them again! Highly recommend.

Mary and her assistant did an AMAZING job for all of our makeup for my wedding! My trial made me feel confident since I was worried about being matched since I am a very fair. Mary is very talented and was always making sure I liked the way it looked and changed anything I wasn’t too keen on. Their timing the day of the wedding was spectacular! They showed up on time and got done with all of us a little ahead of schedule. Could not have asked for a better makeup artist!!

Mary and Jenna were the BEST on my wedding day! They arrived early at our hotel suite and were all set up & ready to go by our scheduled time. They are incredibly talented and worked with everyone's beauty preferences to make sure my bridesmaids and I felt fabulous. Mary is a true makeup pro and does an amazing job keeping your makeup natural but elevated. She is also available by text whenever you need her, which helped tremendously with planning. I highly recommend using her for your wedding!

Mary was one of the first vendors I booked when I got engaged Sept 2021. She was so quick to respond. She had great, prompt and open communication. I got my makeup done by her a few times before the wedding and was always so happy with the results. She listened to exactly what I wanted and would show me her progress throughout the session to make sure I liked it. This was very important to me because I don’t usually wear a ton of makeup. She made me look elegant, but still look like me. Mary reached out to me by phone to make sure our schedules aligned the week of the wedding, taking stress off of me. She and her team were on time and efficient day of. I could not say enough positive things about her and her group!

Mary, Deby, and their team are the absolute best. Look no further if you need hair and makeup for your wedding or an event. They helped me look my best for my rehearsal dinner and wedding! In the last 2 years of uncertainty I had to postpone my original wedding date and even though they had already booked another 2 weddings on my new postponed date they still were able to be there for me and make sure I looked great. They are very professional and I have even recommended many of my friends to use them as well for their weddings. Could not be happier with their work, will definitely use them again for any events I have in the future :)

Holy smokes! Mary and her team were incredible! I had a huge group of ladies and a tight time schedule. Mary's team flawlessly made everyone look wonderful and were finished with time to spare! Mary is awesome! Mary was the Makeup Artist for my sister's wedding. So when my time came to be a bride, I knew exactly who would be doing my wedding makeup. Mary is so talented! She's like a long lost friend and makes the conversation and event fun. We met a few months before my January wedding for my trial. Mary was so helpful and attentive to make sure I looked my absolute best, but still looked like myself. On the day of my wedding, Mary and her assistant arrived promptly and energetic. They did an amazing job on myself and my bridal party. We got full service.. air brush, lashes, it was amazing!! Everyone looked and felt stunning!! Mary, thank you so much for everything! Mary and her team first of all are a blast to work with! I feel Mary is part of our family after she did my sister’s wedding 4 years ago so I knew I had to have her as my vendor for makeup. Mary more importantly applies makeup quickly, highlights your natural beauty and makes you look your best on your special day. Additionally, Mary is very punctual and responsive, you won’t regret it!

Mary and her team are the BEST. When I got engaged, Mary was one of the first vendors I reached out to. I had used her in the past for my sister's wedding, and I was amazed by how well all of our makeup stayed on despite the STL summer heat and we all looked fabulous! Mary's team is extremely professional and attentive. 2020 threw some curve balls due to COVID-19, and we had to reschedule our wedding. Mary was AMAZING to work with, and she provided all of her availability and was willing to move the date no problem. I have not heard the same about all vendors so for that I am truly grateful. The day of our wedding, her team arrived ready to go, and she left each and every one of us looking our best (or in the words of one of my bridesmaids "the best I have ever and will ever look in my life"). We LOVE MW Makeup and are so happy that they played a big part in our special day. I wish I could give over a 5 star rating, because they more than deserve it!

MW makeup Designs was an amazing vendor!!!! Everything was just perfect!!! Mary couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive to our needs. Especially during the pandemic and having to reschedule due to the early Spring shut down. Really, I can’t possibly say enough about Mary and her fantastic crew!!! Simply Outstanding!!!

I loved working with Mary from my trial to my big day! I trusted her to kind of do her own thing, I knew I didn't want my makeup to be super dramatic but I definitely didn't want it to be lacking. Mary was amazing to work with! She really listens to what you want however; she's not afraid to give you her opinion either which I personally love! Mary is the best! Recently got married on a very humid (over 90%) August day. Mary did our makeup and Deb did our hair. I was very nervous because I am a crier and have pretty frizzy hair. Mary did an absolutely stunning job on me and my bridesmaids. We all looked beautiful all day and never once did I think any of us looked like sweaty messes. I cried quite a bit but looking at my makeup you would have never been able to tell. Deb did a phenomenal job on hair - I wanted to wear it down but was nervous about the heat and potential frizz. She assured me that it would look great and she was not wrong. Even the next day my hair looked great. I cannot say enough great things about how wonderful this team was. They were so pleasant to work with - from the trial to the day of! My bridesmaids and I got so many compliments throughout the day about how great we looked and we felt great too. Mary did a knockout job with my bridal makeup, as well as makeup for mother-of-the-bride (& groom,) and my four bridesmaids. She was attentive to detail, communicative, friendly, and relaxed. I knew that I couldn't have chosen a better makeup artist following my trial. Mary brings out your natural beauty and listens to any requests you may have. She is punctual, professional, and a calming and was the perfect addition to my morning on the wedding day. I would highly recommend Mary to any bride!

THIS GIRL! THIS TEAM! Mary is a true professional. I was dead set on having a true makeup artist do my makeup for my wedding, not a salon or hair dresser who focuses on hair, but does makeup for weddings. I believe there is a real difference. It was also very important to me that my mom felt beautiful the day of my wedding. As a cancer survivor and someone who didn't even wear makeup on her own wedding day... my mom needed some help. Mary was kind, intuitive and willing to meet my mom where she was. Mary and her team felt like an extension of my bridal party - they made getting ready SO FUN! They didn't get frustrated when one of my bridesmaids had a little too much fun the night before, and showed up late with wet hair. They got us all done, beautifully, and AHEAD of schedule. Thanks to Mary & her team, by wedding day was truly the most beautiful I have ever looked.

Mary was one of the highlights of the wedding! My sisters and I were SO happy with her work! From her pictures it looked like she did mainly American weddings but she did such a great job for my Indian wedding! She did a beautiful job, was on time, and had such a great attitude!

Working with MW Makeup Designs was one of the most raved vendors by my bridal party. I worked with Eric and Sara (make up/hair) and Mary was there for every trial I had! Mary is an amazingly talented professional! She was so fun to be around for the day while getting ready and friendly to all my friends and family that visited during the day. She happily accommodated my grandmother at the last minute when she decided she wanted her makeup done and was completely flexible with her time. I highly recommend doing the airbrush makeup; my makeup didn't move, smudge, cry, or sweat off at all in the 12 hours I was outdoors at our wedding, reception, and after party. I got so many compliments throughout the day on how beautiful my makeup was. Mary is the best!

Mary and her team did a wonderful job on myself, 8 bridesmaids and 2 mothers! They worked very diligently and made every single girl in my wedding the most beautiful they could look! They listened to each woman’s wants and needs plus got all of us done in 4 1/2 hours! Would highly recommend!
