Max was so great for our wedding renewal (due to COVID) and so understanding about rescheduling from original plans. He really cared about our experience and made sure the night was exactly what we hoped for. He made sure our special day flowed well and kept the dance floor going at all times.

Max did such an amazing job!! Everyone had the greatest time on the dance floor and did not want the night to end. He did everything that we asked of him and stuck with the vibe that we were going for. We highly recommend him!

Max was the DJ for our 7/17/21 wedding and he was AWESOME. He was very responsive via both email and phone throughout the planning process. He took our feedback about what kinds of music we wanted (and did not want) to hear at our wedding and was able to apply his own expertise while still fulfilling our requests. He arrived at the venue hours early to set up and ensure everything was perfect. I cannot recommend MX Productions enough!

Max was absolutely amazing from the start! He was extremely professional and actually listened to our wishes for the day. Even our guests were saying how great he was! He truly knows how to read the crowd and keep the party going. We never thought that many people would actually dance! Honestly, Max (and his wife) were amazing from day 1 and we never second guessed him. Trust him and you won't regret it!

Max was amazing and has great energy! He was extremely accommodating with the COVID regulations, and our wedding would not have been the amazing time it was without him! Everyone had a great time and the music was great! Truly listens to what the couple is looking for and matches the mood of the reception very well. I don’t plan on getting married again, but if I did I would be sure to hire him again.

My fiancé and I hired Max to be our Wedding DJ in 2019 for our August 2020 wedding. From the beginning, Max was both professional and friendly. He worked with enthusiasm to help our dreams come to life and understand our vision for our wedding. When 2020 arrived, our initial plans for our wedding were forced to change dramatically. Although many vendors backed out, not knowing how to proceed, Max remained calm, consistent and dedicated fully to determining how we could best move forward with safety as the greatest priority. Our wedding ended up being very small and intimate and, although there could be no dancing due to NYS restrictions, Max brought spirit and joy through his music. I had my reservations about how our very small wedding would go. I should not worried, however, because Max had it under control the whole time. He is excellent at what he does and even took care to refund us more time that we could not ultimately use. The fact that he did so in a time that is undoubtedly difficult for wedding vendors really moved me and spoke to his character. I strongly encourage you to hire Max for your special event. I am confident that you will be delighted with his partnership.

We lucked out with Maxwell! We were looking for a DJ we could be in touch with frequently and who would help us put our own personal touch on our wedding. We had specific ideas of what we wanted, and we wanted to also hand-pick the majority of the songs we wanted played at the reception. The first DJ we were looking at was super nice but got booked for our date the day we sent an inquiry. The next DJ group we spoke to was off our venue’s wedding vendor list, and they were very expensive and surprisingly unprofessional. We were at our wits end when our venue wedding coordinator reached out to us and told us they just had a recent wedding and the DJ seemed just what we were looking for, and that’s how we found Maxwell/ MX Productions! From the moment we met Maxwell we knew that we had made the right choice to choose him as our DJ for our wedding. He agreed to meet us at a coffee shop in Lake Placid and he came with a series of questions about the kind of music that we wanted to hear rather than what he wanted or he suggested. He went through the entire reception and, together, we mapped out the evening and when it came time to giving him our song selection he was very amenable to our requests. He was always easy to get in contact with and answered all questions or concerns quickly. During our wedding reception, he kept everything on schedule and acted as an emcee, but also blended into the background (in a good way). We had some complicated ideas (snippets of songs bleeding into each other, down to the second, introducing everyone in the bridal party; a personal, self-composed and performed mp3 for one of the dances; setting up music in various locations for cocktails and reception; music ranging from classic waltzes to party music) and he accomplished them all beautifully. Guests of all ages and generations were on the dance floor, having a great time! They are memories we will cherish for a lifetime, and Maxwell created the soundtrack. When you’re planning your wedding it means a lot to have vendors who really care about what they are doing and who really care about their clients. Maxwell is a wonderful person and he was a big part in making our wedding reception one of the best parties of our lives! We would wholeheartedly recommend Maxwell Nason and MX Productions to anyone looking for a DJ.

We got married in Lake Placid, and hired MX productions to DJ our wedding. Max was awesome!! He was very responsive. He met with us a few times before our wedding. He was very flexible and easy to deal with. He kept the perfect flow, from our ceremony through the end of our reception. Dance floor was full all night! He really knows how to work a crowd. I, myself, spent most of my wedding reception on the dance floor-very unusual for me. Max not only played songs from our playlist, but also supplemented them with the most absolute perfect choices. Our guests all raves about how great he was, and how they danced all night. Thanks Max, for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed of!

MXproductions did a great job at our wedding. He was great at selecting music and making announcements. He had a great energy about him and overall, he kept things running smoothly throughout the night. I would highly recommend him.

The Magic Mirror Photobooth setup was Such a HUGE hit at our wedding! Max was very professional, responsive, and creative when it came to setting up the details of the setup, our printouts, and props and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Our family and friends had a blast. My friends were so impressed that they were able to receive the pictures right to their phones. Plus, Max sent us all of the photo files so I could upload them to our wedding website for everyone to see!

We were very happy we went with MX Production for our big day! Max came early to set up and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. He brought great energy to the party and fun was had by all!

MX Productions is great and we recommend them to anyone holding an event in the Saranac Lake or Lake Placid area! Max was wonderful to work with. Even when there was an issue with scheduling, Max found a creative solution to make our day seamless and wonderful! We highly recommend the uplighting and the Magic Mirror, they really make the day come to life! MX Productions had each special song that we asked for and helped to move our day along with ease. Highly recommend MX Productions, they'll make it work for your special day!

Max was great. We were on the fence about dj vs. band and are so glad we went with Max. He was also super responsive and easy to communicate with during the planning process.

We can't begin finding the right words as to how incredible Dj Max made our wedding night!!! First of all, I've changed my walking down the aisle song around 90 times. Max was so patient and flexible up until the wedding day, emailing us with follow ups and being on top of the schedule and everything he needed. It took lots of stress off of us as a couple. During the wedding, people were constantly dancing, and down to the lighting everything was perfect. I was especially happy that we could select a live perfomed version of Hava Nagila for our wedding and he made it sound like it was literally recorded in a studio. Thank you so much Max!!! We cannot recommend him enough!!!!

Max was nothing but wonderful! He was energetic and had a great personality. My husband and I got married roughly 4 hours away and were never able to meet Max until the day of the wedding, but the entire time we had no worries because Max was so professional, fun, and just on top of everything to make our day smooth sailing!! His initial phone call covered everything clearly and fully. He provided me with documents to fill out that made my life easier and only took a few moments. He followed up several times to double check and provide a final timeline was perfect and even accommodated song requests the day before the wedding! Please use Max as your DJ because you truly will not have to worry about the music part of your day!!!!

Max was great to work with throughout! From the time of initial contract to the wedding night, he was helpful and easy to work with. The photo mirror was the best! All of our guests (and us) had a great time!

Max is hands down amazing. He met and exceeded all of our expectations. He met with us, was in contact with us via email and text, helped us plan and coordinate everything. I hadn’t to jump on here when I saw that Max (MX Productions) was on The Knot! This guy is the best DJ. He absolutely nailed our wedding reception and the ceremony. I was skeptical hiring a DJ, just because of the horror stories I’ve heard but Max is nothing like that. He puts so much thought and passion into each of his clients. He was in contact with us throughout our entire planning process. He even made sure he knew who the other vendors were so they could coordinate certain aspects where they would be working together (photo ops for the photographer, etc). He’s unlike any DJ I’ve seen. He’s not flashy and in your face and annoying on the mic. He talks if you want him to, or not. He keeps the crowd engaged and having fun. And he catered to every song and music request we had. I could go on and on. I was blown away by Max. He’s great. As always, thanks man!

Every review on here is spot on. I feel silly repeating everything, but it’s so true. Max is spectacular. Professional, knowledgeable, fun, kind, passionate... He helped us plan everything! We chose songs and genres. We have him a do not play list. He took requests from our guests. Kept us in the loop about everything before and during our reception. He was such a great addition to our wedding day. Our guests kept raving about what an awesome time they had. It was seriously all because of Max. He’s the best. Absolutely your best bet for any occasion!!!!

I can not say enough good about Max/MX Productions. He is so passionate about his craft and you can tell. We had a vision in our heads as to how we wanted our reception to run and Max delivered that, and more. Beyond our expectations. He provided music for our ceremony - which went seamlessly - and for our reception. We worked with Max during the months leading up to our wedding day and were able to plan out our song/genre choices, announcements, formalities, etc. The whole day went better than we could’ve hoped and a huge part of that was Max. He took the burden off of our shoulders. Our guests danced all night, and we all had fun. Max was a great MC, and was never on the mic too much. He was perfect to have there and to support the structure of the day. He is a kind, passionate, fun, good-hearted Man and excellent DJ. THE MIRROR!!! Let me first start by saying Max is an absolutely amazing DJ/MC/Coordinator. He DJ’d our reception in January & exceeded our expectations from day one. He was responsive, personable, helpful, kind.... etc! We didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day since we had it all planned out and executed by Max. I’ve been to weddings & never really liked wedding DJ’s (lol). We LOVED Max. Can’t say enough good. But the Magic Mirror. You’ll probably think you don’t need to, but you DO! Our guests were at the mirror & taking photos all evening. It’s the most fun we’ve ever had taking pictures. Trust me when I say it’s worth it!!!! Thank you Max!!!

We hired Max to DJ our December ‘18 wedding. He was absolutely the best. We’re not from here, so we didn’t really know anything about the area, other than the beauty of Lake Placid. Max talked to us on the phone several times, and exchanged emails and texts throughout our entire planning process. He filled us in on details we should know about our venue, and gave us his expertise on how the flow of our reception should go. He was very professional, but personable and fun. You can definitely tell he knows what he’s doing and enjoys doing it. Our guests were dancing all night. The formalities at the reception were excecuted perfectly. My husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Max took care of it all. He incorporated all the music we wanted to hear, and played music that worked perfectly with our taste, and what our guests were having fun with. I can’t say enough about how easy he made our wedding day. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a truly spectacular wedding DJ.

Max is so great! I contacted him via email, and from the moment he responded, I knew he was going to be great! He has a wonderful, upbeat personality yet is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He cares about his clients, and we felt that from the beginning, up until we said our goodbyes and the end of our wedding night. We had talked to two other DJ’s in the area, but once we talked to Max, we knew he was perfect for us. He supplied us with planning documents which helped us piece together how we wanted our reception to run, and he was always available to chat with us. What can we say except wow! Our wedding was in Oct and it got cold and wet and we had some last minute changes to our outline. Max was incredible through the whole process. He was easy to get ahold of and so professional. He managed every point of our wedding from the ceremony to the reception and it was flawless. Max kept all of our guest involved and laughing. Our favorite memory was the shoe game. It was something not all our guests had seen and it was a great replacement for the garter toss. The music was fantastic as well, we gave him the special songs we wanted and songs we did not and he filled the rest. We are still getting people telling us how great our wedding was and they hadn’t danced that much in all their life. We never sat down from the time the music started till the venue kicked us out. Max recently DJ’d our destination wedding in Lake Placid, NY. From the very beginning of our communication, he was friendly, kind and prompt. He knew exactly what he was doing and made us feel comfortable and totally in control with our choices as to how we wanted our day to run. He made things fun, accommodating, and more than we could’ve ever expected. Music makes more of a difference than you realize, and having the right DJ is so important. We loved working with Max at MX Productions for our October destination wedding at Whiteface!! He was incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic, and our guests had a wonderful time at our reception!! Max was excellent! Very personable and was very responsive/receptive to all of our requests and ideas. Was willing to travel a good distance to our wedding, and even stayed later than we originally planned. His MCing skills were awesome, and we'd recommend him to anyone!
