Future brides, please read this before booking. My original review and several other honest reviews I saw while researching this company have since been deleted…That alone shows how Elena of My Amazing Wedding Dress controls her reputation and it is exactly what I experienced. My experience working with Elena was the single most stressful part of my wedding planning. I inquired with her in July 2024 with my vision for the gown and decided to get measured in December 2024. I had no idea that production would not begin for many more weeks. It did not actually start until February 18, 2025, and only after I followed up for an update and received a very short, cold and rude response. From the start she set her own update timelines and repeatedly missed them. I always waited past the dates she promised before following up and every time I finally asked for an update her replies were cold, dismissive and condescending. What should have been a joyful, collaborative custom gown process turned into months of anxiety. During the production process I also asked several questions about the colored lace that was supposed to be a key part of my dress, yet every time I asked for clarification she acted like I was bothering her or being an inconvenience and even tried to blamed me for the lace choice I had approved. Nearly a month after the February production start and after complete silence I followed up again. She suddenly claimed the dress needed a 16 week lead time because of holiday delays, something she had never mentioned before. Yet on April 2, barely six weeks after she said production began, she told me the dress had already been shipped from the overseas factory is was made. When I went to pick up the dress on April 7, she simply handed it over and in a snarky tone said “see? just in time” Never once did she congratulate, or present a professional tone. She does not offer alterations so I did not try it on at her house. I went straight to a bridal shop the next day to see it on for the first time and was shocked. Even after multiple measurements the proportions were completely off. The sleeves were more than 2 feet longer than they were supposed to be. The corset extended all the way down past the back of my knees and was comically long and out of proportion. The dress felt and looked sloppy and rushed. This is not a simple case of bad communication. It is a pattern of dishonesty, poor customer service and image control. Elena presents a warm, polished persona on Instagram and review sites while quietly but aggressively removing any negative feedback. Any feedback she was unable to remove, she simply blames the client for their experience. My first review, marked helpful by more than 75 people, and I personally watched other factual one star reviews disappear as well. These were not spam or false. They were real experiences like mine, erased to maintain a curated façade. My review is factual and supported by emails, screenshots and photos. A custom wedding gown should be built on trust and collaboration. Instead I was left anxious, rushed, disrespected, and treated like a burden.Brides deserve transparency and professionalism, but those are qualities Elena does not have. I would never recommend My Amazing Wedding Dress to anyone.

Had an amazing experience working with Elena! I couldn't find anything in store or online that was exactly what I had in my head, but I shared my ideas with Elena and she turned it into a perfect sketch. The dress came out so beautifully and only needed minor alterations. It was exactly what I wanted and was significantly cheaper than any other dresses I'd looked at! And it only took 2 months!! Everything about My Amazing Wedding Dress was just the best decision. So quick and efficient and affordable, and I can't emphasize enough how well made my dress was and how perfectly it fit what I had in mind. The dress was absolutely gorgeous!

Im the girl who hates shopping so when I went dress shopping I went with knowing exactly what I wanted and a specific vision. I tried on so many dresses until the frustration took over me. I couldn't find a dress that had what I wanted or a dress within my price range. I looked on Instagram randomly and found her page. I messaged her for a quote. I sent her inspiration photos of what I wanted and she sent me a quote then a sketch and lace options. I got my dress less then 3 months. Of course I had to get more adjustments post receiving my dress but it was still cheaper than getting a lace dress and having it altered in NYC. If you know exactly what you want or even if you tried On a dress that's completely out of your price range then go with Elena.

I will highly recommend My Amazing Wedding Dress to every bride I meet! I asked Elena to make my dream wedding dress on 9/30 late in the evening. She responded almost immediately and from then on she was always quick to answer any questions that I had and she made sure that the dress would be made exactly how I wanted it to be. She had a seamstress do my measurements for me and estimated that the dress would be done by 12/5. To my surprise and pleasure, the dress was completed and arrived at my house by 11/21, 2 full weeks in advance! Plus the dress is even more gorgeous in person, fits me well, and is my best dream come true! I tried on about 20 wedding dresses before I decided to have my wedding dress custom made. I found dresses that l liked in stores, but I didn't absolutely love them and I didn't want to pay $1000 or more for a dress I wasn't completely in love with. For the dress of my dreams, Elena only charged me $750 (after taxes and delivery) and she made it exactly how I wanted it to be. I sent her pictures of various parts of dresses that I liked and then she drew a sketch of my dream dress put all together. Then when I approved it, she made it real! I am so excited to wear my gorgeous custom made wedding dress and I love knowing that it was made just for me. Save yourself money, time, and stress, and get everything you've ever wanted in a wedding dress from Elena. It is 100% worth it and she is easy to work with and produces the best quality.

At first, like most brides, I went to various wedding galleries throughout Northern Utah with my bridesmaids. We even took a trip to Las Vegas and checked out their highest rated galleries. Some were good, some were terrible and none of them provided the service Elena Thomas could offer. She has a skill set that outshines any major gallery. She can custom make your dress to meet your needs as a bride. When choosing a dress the most important part is the fit, feel, and style that matches you as a bride. Elena provides a service to meet all those needs. I have provided the original gallery dress and then Elena's custom design dress for your convenience in the photos. This was the best decision I made for my wedding day.
