My Bellissima Wedding Consulting & Special Event Design

I first heard about My Bellissima when they helped my sister at her wedding in December 2010. My entire family was blown away by the care & service that Kara & Laura provided. Any issues or questions that came up were fixed/answered to ensure my sister & new brother in law had NO worries on their special day! So when I got engaged this summer, my sisters surprised me with the best engagement gift I could imagine--hours with Kara and Laura!! Having them there at the start of the planning was priceless--they helped us find our venue, directed me to an amazing dress shop, and helped me narrow down my theme/decor. They are creative, supportive, and incredibly knowledgable of all that goes into wedding planning. They would reference things they had done for other brides in a way that made me realize just how much they love each and every one of the brides and how they ensure each girl gets the wedding of their dreams. Unfortunately, we don't have the budget to have them there with us the day of the wedding, but they were SO efficient in the time I had with them, that I truly feel their early help will ensure our day is special and about US!

Simply put, My Bellissima is the best. Our wedding would not have been possible without Laura, Kara, and their incredible work. Initially, I was one of those brides who thought I had everything in control. About five months out, I realized not only was I not in control, I had no idea on what I was really doing. So with a little hesitation, I called My Bellissima and was immediately found relief. From our first phone call, I knew that they were the solution to all our wedding issues. They are two of the most professional, creative, but most of all kind women I have had the pleasure meeting. They helped us tie us all our loose ends, thought of things that would have never even crossed our minds, and became an invaluable support system in the final hours leading to our wedding! My only regret is not calling them the day after we got engaged. I can truly say these two are quite the duo. We are forever grateful for all their work and would highly recommend them for planning ANY event!

I was lucky enough to have Laura and Kara as my much needed "day of, week of" wedding planners....words cannot express how thankful I was the day of my wedding to have them there to coordinate, organize, take charge, and smooth over every minute of the day and night. If anything out of the ordinary happened behind the scenes on my day, I would never have known it! They completely took all stress off my hands the week before the wedding ...if I didn't have them on my team for that week and day, I really would not have been able to enjoy myself like I was able to. Instead of running around town all week before the wedding, I got to relax, primp, and spend time with out of town guests. They are an unbelievable asset to any wedding day and made mine incredible! Their flexible consulting packages are also phenomenal for the bride who knows who needs a little help with vendor referrals or doesn't have a lot of spare time to devote to planning...everything they touch turns out perfect!

The ladies of My Bellissima are an essential at any and all weddings. I hired them for some consulting hours throughout my planning and for the week of/day of coordinating services. They helped to take my ideas and make them into reality. I knew I did not have to worry about a thing, because they completely understood what I wanted my venue to look like and how I wanted my guests to feel when they walked in. They absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! Just when I thought everything was coming together perfectly, quite a few things fell apart the day before my wedding. I called Laura and Kara... within 2 hours everything was resolved and BETTER than it had been before. My family was able to stay calm and enjoy the wedding knowing that Laura and Kara had the details under control. My entire family and my husband and I will be forever grateful for the amazing skills, creativity, foresight, and professionalism that My Bellissima offered throughout my wedding weekend. For any skeptics out there... Just do it. You will not regret it for a minute!!!

If I could offer one piece of advice to future brides I would strongly recommend they hire a wedding planner! But not just any wedding planner...they NEED professionals like My Bellissima. Kara and Laura will work around the clock to bring your vision to life. Deciding to hire My Bellissima proved to be the best decision my husband and I made throughout our wedding planning process. Not only did My Bellissima make it easy for us through their expert organization and planning, but we both throughly enjoyed meeting with Kara and Laura! These women effectively take the drama out of planning and were absolutely wonderful to work with!! Kara and Laura helped turn our vision into a reality and infused it with their unique and creative ideas that honestly elevated our big day to a whole new level. To say these women pay close attention to detail is an understatement. Kara and Laura meticulously went over every detail with us, leaving no stone unturned. They connected us with fantastic vendors whom we immediately clicked with saving us so much time and energy. And in the end, our wedding was stunning...well beyond our wildest expectation and executed to perfection. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. We received tons of thanks yous saying it was the best wedding they ever attended. Believe it or not people still rave about our wedding today! And we owe that to My Bellissima. It is difficult to imagine what our wedding day would have been like without Kara, Laura, and the Bella girls. Without question we will definitely turn to My Bellissima for future events and insist that friends and family who are planning a wedding at the very least set up a meeting with Kara and Laura...all it took was one meeting with us...and the result was the best day of our lives!

I had stumbled across My Bellissima's website one afternoon while I was looking at bridal stuff on the internet, before I was even engaged. I bookmarked their site and knew the minute I was engaged I would be contacting them. Months later I was finally engaged and My Bellissima was my next phone call. When I met Kara and Laura, I was just in awe of them. They are the ying and the yang of each other. They can finish each other's sentences and they made me feel very comfortable. I was sitting in their office screaming inside saying OMG they are perfect for the job!!! It was a match made in bridal heaven. I am a very controlling person and I was afraid to let someone else take the reins but with them I knew it was all going to be fabulous and extraordinary. I trusted them immediately with it all. The service they offer is top notch and we got exactly what we paid for and more. My Husband was just as involved in the planning process as I was and he could not thank them enough for all they did. We followed all their instructions about when we needed things accomplished and it was a breeze. They were there with us every step of the way. I had the most wonderful, unstressful year of planning a wedding. I think back now and know I could not have done this without them. They kept us on our wedding budget by moving our numbers around so we could have every single thing on our wedding wish list. They have the best connections in the wedding industry and they hooked us up with some amazing, outta this world vendors that understood our style. My Bellissima's attention to detail from the stationary (save the dates, wedding invitations, day of stationary), welcome boxes, favors, centerpieces and table linens to our amazing cake was executed beautifully with extra details I didn’t even know could exist. It told our story and that is the best thing about these two Ladies.. they tell your story. Each and every wedding they do is special and one of a kind. That’s the service you will be getting when you hire My Bellissima. Our wedding day was beyond amazing - beyond fantastic. We walked into our ballroom and it said it all. I was literally in tears. I could not believe what I was seeing was our wedding. They had accomplished exactly what we wanted, that WOW wedding from the purple tones, glam and romantic, over the top with fireworks (literally) and of course, BLING. Words can never express how wonderful and amazing these gals are but hire them and you will be one happy bride. 5 stars is not enough for them. I would give them the whole universe! I am so happy that I worked with Laura and Kara of My Bellissima for my recent wedding. I simply cannot rave about them enough. Call these wonderful ladies today if you are looking for two of the kindest, brightest people in the wedding business. I had an intimate wedding and encountered many planning issues along the way before I chose to work with them, and I am so glad that I did. My wedding day turned out to be absolutely perfect! One of the things so many of my guests told me was that my husband and I seemed so refreshingly calm and happy. I was thrilled for the compliments-- and very happy to report that we were calm and happy because My Bellissima made the day magical and stress-free! For those of you researching wedding planning vendors, I'm very happy to tell you that My Bellissima is exemplary at the basics: their design vision is completely unparalleled, their vendor network and relationship skills are top notch, and their coordination execution is flawless. Beyond the basics, I struggle to truly capture in words what Laura and Kara did for me. They went out of their way to support me and truly made me feel like I was part of the My Bellissima family, even when I struggled to make decisions or became overwhelmed. Their empathy and willingness to work with me at every step of the way allowed me to truly feel like someone was always in my corner. Laura and Kara were a blessing. I completely agree with the other reviewers that regretted not hiring My Bellissima sooner. Once you meet with them and begin working with them, you will adore them and wonder how you ever planned a moment without their incredibly inspiring creativity and genuine warmth. I'm so happy I had the wedding of my dreams, but I will definitely miss checking in with them because they were just a delight to plan with! My Bellissima is simply spectacular!

I loved working with Laura and Kara! I know I would have not had the fabulous wedding I did if it wasn't for them. I knew absolutely nothing about wedding planning, and they know everything! They made it all so simple and painless and had such great ideas and suggestions...I can't say enough good things! I don't know how they put a price on what they do, because it's truly priceless! They have such great style and taste. The minute I walked in their office, I knew they were going to be great. I said to them I wanted my wedding to have the My Bellissima "look" and they delivered! I booked the start to finish package and they really were there for every little step of the way, including the wedding day, making sure everything went as planned. My husband and I are both thrilled thrilled thrilled with everyone at My Bellissima. They were amazing in every way and I would have been lost without them the week leading up to the wedding/day of the wedding. Although we booked the week of/day of package, I wish we had hired My Bellissima to do the entire "nuts to bolts" planning. Can't emphasize enough how organized, skilled, on-top of it this company is. Highly recommend My Bellissima!

I had originally met with Laura and Kara after booking a few vendors and starting the wedding planning process. I loved them immediately, but thought - I have this under control! No problem! After being sent to my 4th catering manager at my venue, I knew I needed back-up. Laura & Kara were amazing. They kept me on track, reminded me of important items that needed to get done, gave great suggestions for our bridal party gifts and welcome bags (both a huge hit!), and helped keep Bride, Groom AND families calm on the wedding day. One of their most important roles was helping to provide amazing ways to remember my father in law, who passed away a month before the wedding. It was just what we needed and was perfect. My dad can't wait for my sister's to get engaged so that we can hire My Bellissima again. My only wedding regret? That I didn't hire them from the start!

Kara and Laura of My Bellissima are fabulous wedding planners. Not only will they create the wedding of your dreams, they will become your close friends in the process. They take the time to get to know your style, likes and dislikes. They listen to every detail and suggestion and have the resources necessary to make your dreams become reality (and even more beautiful than you originally imagined). The nice thing about these planners is that they work themselves into your budget. You will not spend any more than you originally set out to spend. They know the vendors, locations, and resources that will work best for you and keep you within your spending limits. My husband and I have said again and again how blessed we were to have them present at our wedding day. When the venue ran out of chairs, the photographer went to the wrong location, and our bar ran out of alcohol; the My Bellissima girls took care of the potentially stressful problems before we even knew about them. We wouldn’t have wanted to deal with these little obstacles ourselves. Our wedding day was perfect and stress free! After all of the time spent planning, designing, and dreaming of your wedding day – you want to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible. The My Bellissima Girls can definitely make that happen!!!

The ladies at My Bellissima are absolutely amazing. Throughout the whole planning process they made me feel like there was nothing more important than my wedding day. I feel so lucky that I was able to have Laura and Kara plan my wedding. They thought of everything. Every detail was perfect.

I dont know where to even begin with telling you how AMAZING My Bellissima was for my wedding! I met Laura and Kara one week after I got married! I knew I had a vision of my perfect wedding in my head, but I needed help to make it possible. Everyone thought I was crazy after all I had been planning my wedding for like 5 years! Boy were they wrong. Having My Bellissima from the very begining I was able to hire vendors I would NEVER have found on my own. And having them to back them up, made me that more confident in my choice and that much less in stressed! I truly was able to have the best team of vendors for my wedding! From the second I met with Laura and Kara, I knew that no matter what my vision, no matter how crazy it may have been that they were on the same page as me and that they were going to do everything in their power to make it come true. My wedding day well surpassed every dream I had ever had in my head. It was like they were able to get into my thoughts that I didnt even know were there and then make it come to life. Things I didnt even think of, they did! I am a very high anxiety, perfectionist, control freak so I was def not an easy client to work with. The day of my wedding was perfect!!! There was no stress whatsover. I knew that whatever the problem or concern that came up that Laura and Kara had it covered. I recently met up with them after my wedding to catch up and talk about the whole day. There were SO many things that went wrong! not bad things, just little things that could happen to anyone. If I didnt have them, I would have had to deal with all of the problems. But because of them, I had no idea they even happend which may me believe my wedding day was that much more perfect and I have that vision in my head still not all the craziness and drama. You dont realize how many things go into a wedding. THe littlest things you dont think of, but Laura and Kara do this every single day and they DID think of everything. My husband at first was very skeptical to go with wedding planners. he knew I had been planning for so long and had no idea why we needed to spend the money. I just kept telling him to trust me. But after the wedding the first thing that he said to me was "thank god we had Laura and Kara!" and trust me he hardly ever admits he was wrong! Look I could go on and on for days about how amazing My Bellissima is...but just meet with them, I promise you after the first meeting you will be hooked and you will be so glad you listened to me. From bride to bride who really thinks they know everything about weddings....you DONT! Trust Laura and Kara....and the rest of the Bella Girls. I promise you they are the sole reason that my wedding day was the BEST day of my life!!!! and if you go with them you will be able to say the same thing one day!!! Congrats on your engagement! I can't possibly say enough about how amazing the ladies at My Bellissima are. They periodically checked in on me during the planning process and kept me in gear. We did their week of day of package and I am so glad we did! I had a lot of diy projects that I didn't have the time to finish.. the girls took the materials and made it happen for me. They went so above and beyond what I ever could have asked them to do that week!! They knew the look & theme I was going for in my head and saw that it wasn't quite translating, so they pulled it together by advising me to add in another color to the theme and found the perfect flower girl basket that was so different than anything I had seen and just stunning! They created a work of art out of my seating card table & the card box. On the day of the wedding they solved every little problem that we were faced with. I really didn't understand how much I needed them until the week and day of the wedding came. I am a wedding photographer, so I thought I would have it under control myself since I had seen so many weddings... I was wrong! There is simply no way that my wedding would have been what it was without My Bellissima.

The team at My Bellissima is unbelieveable! I never had a worry or a fear about ANYTHING from the moment we started the planning process to the moment we left for our honeymoon! We can't get over how stress free our experience was..We felt like guests at out own wedding. They are worth every penny and would recommend them to anyone and everyone! If you are on the fence, make the right decision and hire them, you won't regret it!

Laura, Kara and the team at My Bellissima were my saviors from Day 1 in the wedding planning process. With a full-time job, two soon-to-be step children, a million demands on my time and ZERO idea where to start when it came to planning my big day, I don't know what I would have done without them. From our first meeting to our last "goodbye" at the end of the wedding day, they were by my side -- guiding me, calming me down (on more than one occasion) and keeping me on track. The end result was a personal, intimate and unbelievably unique event that people are still sending me notes about. Every detail was thought of and best of all, they helped me be frugal in the right places so that I could splurge on the extras that really made it "my own". They introduced me to the right vendors to bring my vision to life (and those who had a knack for the non-traditional pieces we were looking for.) I actually think I had the most fun of anyone at my wedding. I can't say enough - they are fabulous!
