If possible, book another DJ who is more understanding and actually cares about his clients receiving quality services without the hassle.
This DJ runs his business to benefit him...self at all costs. He will find ways to keep your money and avoid delivering services you paid him to do. He makes everything the client’s fault. He will do everything to make money out of you and run his business and does not care about his clients or even try to be somewhat understanding.
He promises one thing over the phone but then does not keep his word. ( Specifically about Covid related cancellations.) He refers to his contract which has many loopholes you need to go through and tells you what he wants you to think they should mean.
-He ignores CDC guidelines about covid restrictions.
-He makes false claims and threats to keep his money and avoid lawsuits.
-He refuses to give back deposit despite Covid.
-states you can’t sue him
Dealing with this DJ has been my fiancé and I’s worse experience. Especially trying to plan a wedding during a pandemic.
In the beginning he seems almost TOO perfect, he’ll promise you’ll get everything you want, and is very excited to work with you, he will even chat with you on insta about how he’s the right fit. Once you put down money towards your event date, (975$$) he sends you a link to Spotify and does not check in with you for months, until you bring something up. Once refund is mentioned, his charismatic personality becomes very cold and says you can’t get it back Bc he has a business to run.
