We had Gil from MY DJs San Diego for our April 6th wedding in Carlsbad and he was INCREDIBLE. He played all our "must plays" but also put his own spin on things, showcasing his talent and breath of music knowledge, including some house music we especially wanted to include. We had an multi-cultural wedding and he played something for everyone and the dance floor was never empty. Gil had great energy and charisma and announcements for our wedding party and our grand entrance were exactly what I wanted. The equipment was professional, never glitched and sound quality was top notch. We booked the premium package with the photobooth and uplighting and were so so happy with the results. Uplighting really enhances a plain space so much and the photos from the photobooth are well lit and so much fun! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very fortunate to have worked with MY DJs. They were extremely generous with their time and delivered the whole package. From pre-party consultation to the party setup beforehand to the actual party everything came together wonderfully. These are consummate professionals who love what they do and aim to please. We picked my DJ's because of the photobooth attendant we met at a wedding showcase. Jules was amazing, she kept the party going and made the photobooth so much fun for everyone that went over there. She helped people that weren't sure what to do feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. We received great feedback about Jules. We met with a few DJ's and ultimately picked DJ Gill Sotu and he exceeded our expectations. Having a good DJ was a must for us, we wanted everyone to have a great time and dance, that is a big ask for multiple generations. Gil was truly excellent and we had the best night ever. He added so much to our wedding without taking away from us. The music was a hit for everyone, and he kept people out on the dancefloor. We had some recommendations and of course picked the main songs for specific points, otherwise we trusted him to read the room and keep the party going, and he absolutely suceeded. His attention to detail was above and beyond what we asked for or expected, and it did not go unnoticed. Our night felt perfect and was unforgettable, we are so grateful for DJ Gill Sotu's part in it.

We could not have asked for a better person to DJ our wedding than DJ Alex. Every interaction with him was professional, productive, fun, and stress-free! He was always receptive to our wishes but also happy to provide us with his opinion and suggestions when we weren’t sure about something. There were certain moments during the wedding that we weren’t sure exactly what the perfect song would be, and Alex’s advice was to give him some ideas and let him read the energy to decide what to play. He knocked those out of the park! He brought such a good energy; so many of our guests made comments about how great he was. Can’t recommend him enough.

DJ Frankie was phenomenal! He understood the vibe that we wanted at our wedding reception and delivered! All of our guest or ecstatic at the DJs song choice, and the dance floor was lit! I cannot recommend MyDJs enough!!!

DJ Alex was AMAZING! He took so much time to get all of our details correct. We had multiple calls with him and he was so professional and cool about everything. I feel like he really understood what we wanted as a couple and listened intently to everything. During the reception he went above and beyond and helped make sure all the guests for to sign our gust book and ran around to each person with pens and the guest book. It was impressive! He played all the songs that were important to us and got our vibe to fill in the rest. Lots of guests commented on how fun and lively he was as well. My DJs was recommended to me and I would recommend to anyone as well! Thank you for making our special day extraordinary Alex!

We could not be more happy or impressed with the service we received through My DJs! The company has been amazing to work with, from the interview process all the way until our wedding day. We knew as soon as we had our interview with DJ Zuni (Aaron Zuniga) that he HAD to be our DJ! We wanted a very specific vibe for our wedding music, and he really understood us and our vision. He is a phenomenal listener and communicator and made every step of this process so easy, always answering any questions over email when needed. And the My DJs platform is really easy to work with, it is very organized and lets you get really specific with planning all of your special songs and must-play songs! I was so nervous leading up to our wedding day but we had a call with Aaron earlier in the week and he really helped settle my nerves and answered all of our questions as we reviewed the wedding schedule. On the day of the wedding, he helped our day go so smoothly and he never missed a beat in terms of announcements, transitions, or special songs. The music was absolutely PERFECT!!! He executed our vision flawlessly, along with reading the room and playing songs to keep the guests engaged and dancing. We can't believe how many compliments we have gotten from our guests about Aaron and the music overall! People have been raving about it. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful that we got to have Aaron as our DJ, and we truly could not recommend him more highly for any couples looking for a wedding DJ. We are absolutely thrilled we requested to work with My DJ's San Diego, but more specifically due to our fabulous and amazing DJ, Alex. I originally spoke to Alex by myself and going through the DJ's list and listening to the introduction for each DJ, my fiancé (at the time) and I both agreed we had to have Alex as our DJ. Alex was not only professional, eager, and a great listener, he shared feedback, ideas, and offered to go above what we would expect an MC/DJ to do. He was thorough and did a great job following up with us. The day of the wedding, he so incredibly enthusiastic and on top of EVERYTHING and was always 10 steps ahead. My husband and I originally hired a live musician to do the ceremony and cocktail hour; however, the musician was stuck in traffic and wasn't going to make the ceremony. He was quick on his feet and prepared everything for our ceremony and did it perfectly! He would check in with us often and was responsive to our guest. On top of last minute ceremony fiasco, we scratched out the original chosen host of the the shoe game and asked him to run it and he did it perfectly. From before the wedding, to the end of the wedding, DJ Alex went above and beyond our expectations! I cannot express anymore in my own words how fabulous DJ Alex was- so I guess this might help. I had more than a handful of friends/family approach me at our wedding to share high compliments about Alex. Fantastic work!

10/10 would recommend My DJs for any wedding !! Our DJ for our wedding was Alex and he was absolutley amazing! Such a fun guy , life of the party, great personality , and we could tell he really loves what he does. From the start he was super easy to work with and definitely knew what he was doing. We trusted him to not only be our DJ but emcee for the whole event and he did not disappoint. If you want fun and good energy, Alex is the guy! We also booked the photobooth package and our photobooth attendant was Jewel. She knocked it out of the park!!! She was super sweet and totally exceeded our expectations. Our photobooth pictures were awesome because of her. We loved her personality too and she fit right into the party. My DJs gave us a killer combo with those two and I am so glad they were a part of our wedding day!!

Christian was amazing. We got so many compliments from guests on how it was hard to leave the dance floor because the music was so good. We didn’t have too many song requests, so we left a lot of the music selection up to him and he did not disappoint! We also appreciated the help editing the song timing section for our specialty dances (i.e. mother-son dance). The online portal was also super helpful in the planning process. And Christian was super professional and supportive in making sure we got exactly what we wanted out of the day.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with MY DJs!! DJ Baeza was incredible and completely understood our vision. He played the exact style of music we were looking for and did a seamless job keeping our wedding on time as our MC. DJ Baeza also surprised us by playing one of our favorite songs after our last dance which ended up being one of the most memorable moments of the night. We still talk about it to this day! Our wedding would not have been the same without DJ Baeza and we are so thrilled with our decision! We also booked a photobooth with MY DJs and it was a huge hit at the wedding. We found DJ Alex at a bridal show, and instantly loved his energy. We felt like he had been a long time friend, which made the entire planning process super easy and comfortable. He really listened to what we were wanting in our wedding vibe, and absolutely delivered. He dialed in with our audience right away and kept the energy and flow perfect throughout the night. Family and friends commented that the wedding was awesome and one family member wanted to hire Alex for their event in the future! I truly recommend DJ Alex and MY DJs as a whole. Everyone we worked with or contacted there was kind, responsive, and helpful. This company really cares about its clients, which is truly evident in the product and service they provide. They have a really cool client portal that helps you organize the music you want played at different parts of the ceremony and reception. It even allows you to connect your Spotify account so the DJ knows exactly what song you want. DJ Alex even found a very obscure song on the spot that my mom requested during the reception, which she greatly appreciated. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about hiring this company and was beyond thrilled with what DJ Alex brought to our wedding. 100% Recommend and would hire again in a heartbeat!

The biggest goal for our wedding was for everyone to have fun. We loved DJ Alex’s energy from the moment we met him. We had multiple calls with him before our wedding to ensure he understood our vision correctly. He was superbly professional, organized, fun, and handled small adjustments the day of our wedding on the fly. Our music was everything we wanted and kept our guests on the dance floor all night! We received many compliments on how fun the night was, and we know that is in huge thanks to Alex. We cannot recommend DJ Alex or My DJs enough!

Alex with "My DJs" was enthusiastic and awesome! He was a wonderful and funny emcee and kept the party going all night with music we chose and loved. We also had him host a karaoke hour in the later part of our reception which was a big hit! The planning tools they supply and pre-wedding meetings were very helpful. He also was adaptable and able to come in early last minute when we had to pivot to a rain plan. Not to mention he traveled from San Diego to Los Angeles for our wedding, no problem. We cannot recommend this company enough. If you're looking for a great DJ who is thoughtful, adaptable, and has great energy, this is the company to go with! Make sure to request Alex!

We had a great time with MY DJs San Diego at our wedding! They were great to work with and made sure that we were set up with a DJ that fit our style and energy. DJ Jamm was awesome - he played great tunes, kept the party going and did a great job as MC. We would love to work with them again in the future!

They were very professional and fun, when it came to the wedding Gil Sotu was amazing and kept all my guests on the dance floor. Played everything I wanted and more and was very interactive with my guest. It was perfect and Gil was very nice and funny!

Book with them!! You won’t regret it. From the first consultation call with Alex to meeting the different djs, everything was great. They have so many add-ons like the photobooth, monogogram, and lighting. You really are getting a good deal! As far as djs, we chose DJ Zuni (even though all of the djs are amazing!) and he was the absolute best!!!!! So professional and so nice! He was so much fun on the actual wedding day and played all of the jams! Our guests had such a good time. As a dj myself, he even let me play a surprise set which was such a special moment and memory that will stay with me my whole life. I couldn’t be more grateful. 10/10 recommend booking with DJ Zuni (Aaron Zuniga) and My Djs overall. You won’t be disappointed!

DJ Alex is AWESOME! From start to finish DJ Alex was organized, helpful, fairly priced, and friendly. Our wedding timeline had some major hiccups, but DJ Alex remained organized, super nice, and kept the show going. He really understood our music tastes and kept our reception going till the last minute. We received many compliments from our guests about how fun and good he was. Hire DJ Alex and don't look back!

Alex was the best DJ! He was so great and kept the party going, even if he had to get out there and mix it up on the dancefloor! Everyone said that it was the most fun wedding they had been to because we DANCED THE WHOLE TIME. Literally! We super appreciated his expertise and fun energy. I do not have enough amazing words to say about "My DJ" specifically Dj Zuni! Arron Zuniga was THE best Dj!! He read the room and made song adjustments when needed, he even put his on personal spin on blending songs and it just hyped the crow up more! Dj Zuni is the DJ for you! We also rented a photo booth from MY DJ which was the best idea ever! We got to keep all of the copies of the photos people took which lets us look back and laugh at all the funny photos our guests took. The photo booth directer was the life of the party and even got to hop in on some photos! Honestly our wedding day was so perfect all because of MY DJ!

Alex was the best DJ that we could have asked for. He really made our day special by working with us on all of the custom music that we wanted for our wedding. He was able to read the party so well and was able to get everyone out on the dancefloor. Many of our guests commented about how amazing Alex was able to make the day and how he was able to keep party going. Our photo booth operator was also excellent and she helped us create some amazing photos of everyone who participated. Working with My DJs made the entire process extremely easy and was able to give us the entire package.

DJ Magic was AMAZING, he arrived on time and got everything set up wonderfully. DJ Magic worked extremely hard to find our first dance song just so he did not have to use our phone to play the song. DJ Magic listened to exactly what we envisioned for our day and made it happen. DJ Magic is fun an outgoing and truly made our day magical.

Book My DJs and get DJ Zuni! We needed a bilingual DJ to speak Spanish and English, and we were so happy with everything. From the initial chats and detailing what we needed, DJ Zuni certainly delivered. It was effortless to walk through the entire timeline of the wedding, and we felt so at ease that he knew what we wanted! We also booked the Saxophonist, Jason Brown, with My DJs. This was SERIOUSLY the biggest hit of the wedding! He brought such good vibes for our ceremony and cocktail hour! Our guests LOVED having him perform! DJ Zuni was great with emceeing the wedding as well. I felt like I was at an event downtown because as the dancefloor opened, it NEVER closed. I don't know how he does it, but he could feel the crowd's vibe and keep it moving. Don't hesitate to book.

DJ Baeza was AWESOME to work with! We loved the portal that helped keep us organized and really helped us plan our entire ceremony and reception out with all the music that needed to play. The day of he was incredibly professional and on top of every little thing we asked for. He made sure to keep our guests involved and kept the party going on all night long! Thanks DJ Baeza!

Jorge was awesome! He was helpful through the planning process and we felt totally comfortable with the music going into our reception. The music he chose was great, and really brought both of our cultures together with amazing Latin music and and traditional fun(!) wedding hits. 5/5 Would definitely recommend!!!!

Our DJ Alex went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day and our guests loved him! The layout of their website design makes it so easy to pick out songs and the whole process is very organized. We also planned a couple of zoom meetings to go over all the songs. Everything was exactly how we wanted it! He went out of his way to help my uncle set up his piano so he could play a couple songs for our guests. We are so happy Alex was our DJ. We definitely recommend MYDJs to any couple looking for an easy and fun process. Also, our Photo Booth operator Jewel did such an amazing job. Our guests loved her and she was able to print out extra photo strips to place in our little photo album. They also send an email with online access! You are missing out if you don't hire MYDJs for your wedding

We hired MY DJs in 2020, two years in advance of our wedding. Much change happened during the time of hiring and our event, however, MYDJs was very accommodating throughout. After DJ Earl's passing, we were assigned a DJ which after meeting with him and some subsequent conversations, we did not think the new DJ was a good fit for us. MY DJs worked with us, which is how we got to DJ Hamm, who was the perfect DJ for our event. Very professional and very organized group. He played the songs we absolutely wanted to hear, but like a well skilled DJ was able to play songs that kept the vibe going. My wife also had a very customized request for her dad/daughter dance song, and DJ Hamm made it perfect. In regards to the photobooth, we could not have been more pleased. It was a hit with the children, and just like DJ Hamm and team, the Photobooth team was also very accommodating. Someone in our party knocked over there whole setup! But they just calmly picked it up and proceeded. Even more impressive, as the bride and groom, my wife and I did not have time to enjoy the photobooth. However, they would not leave until my wife and I had an opportunity to take our photos. Pics also were high quality.

DJ Leon was absolutely amazing. From beginning of planning and meeting him to the end of the night of the wedding, we felt so supported and taken care of. He did a fabulous job with our special requests, announcements, timing, following our instruction, going with the flow, and getting literally everyone to dance! I cannot say enough how pleased we are with the whole experience of having My DJs, but especially Leon, take care of our special day!! Thank you so so very much :)

My Dj's made our wedding a huge success! DJ Alex was our DJ, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great he was. He is a natural born entertainer. From getting the crowd pumped up with his MC skills, to literal backflips on the dance floor, we can't recommend him enough. We also really enjoyed the online planning portal that My Dj's uses. It helped us organize all of our music by category (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, etc.). It allows you to connect to your Spotify account and add your playlists that way as well! I had a very detailed vision for the ceremony entrances, and Dj Alex executed it flawlessly. Don't think twice, book with My Dj's San Diego!

I just want to say that DJ Alex was amazing at our wedding. He had everyone dancing and he was so full of energy that the crowd fed off of that energy. Also, he was so attentive to the guests and made sure that everything went smoothly timeline wise. He just made things so lively!!!

DJ Zuni was simply the best DJ we could have hoped for and absolutely made the night the fun, non-stop party it was. The vibe was never down and he would switch between the genres we discussed in our pre planning meetings. Everyone said it was one of the best music line ups they’ve heard at a wedding. I recently used My Djs over the weekend for my wedding. It was originally scheduled in 2020 and they were more than accommodating when I rescheduled multiple times. I had the pleasure of working with DJ magic, he did an amazing job. Everything ran smoothly and on time and he definitely read the crowd and played music that had everyone dancing. I also highly recommend their photo booth and props. My guests loved it. I definitely recommend them and would use their services again

DJ Gill was our DJ for our wedding on May 30th, 2022. He was amazing and keep the party going all night long. He helped us pick the perfect songs for the reception games, helped us create a fun father daughter song mash up, and knew when and how to keep the party going even when we were tired. I would recommend them again to anyone looking for a MC and DJ for thier wedding.

My DJs San Diego were easy to work with and made sure we understood the process each step of the way. The portal was easy to upload Spotify playlists into (if we wanted to do that), and select songs for our day in an easy to use way! DJ Magic was helpful and planned well for the day! I will say, not many songs we selected previously to be played at the reception were played, however I'd assume positive intent and that the DJ wanted to read the crowd. That would be my only piece of constructive feedback. Overall good experience for the affordable price.

AWESOME! So easy to work with, we had an initial call with one of the owners and he helped us find a DJ who would match our taste. We ended up going with DJ Christian Baeza and he was fantastic! "Understood the assignment" - got people moving and grooving the entire night. We also had a specific vibe for dinner and it was as easy as sending him a playlist and he knew what to do. This was a great company to connect with, reasonably priced and have a variety of talented DJs!

DJ Christian made our wedding such an incredible experience!! It was a party from start to end. We can't thank you enough!!! I was so impressed with their detailed customer portal and how easy it was to put in every little detail! They had everything from glow up lights to projectors! They were incredibly accommodating to our last minute projector/ slideshow request! Highly recommend!

Alex was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire planning process of our wedding. From our first meeting, we really loved Alex's attention to detail and care for catering to our wedding's needs. We got so many compliments on the music selection, Alex really nailed it! Alex kept everyone dancing from the time the dance floor opened, through the end of our event! He has a real talent for getting people excited and out on the dance floor. Alex kept our event running seamlessly; he made sure everything was running smoothly and checked in with us often. Guests told us they saw Alex going the extra mile to help anyone and everyone in our venue, he even fixed our wedding arch when the wind blew some garland off the top! We booked Ashley through MY DJs. Ashley was the hit of our wedding. We got so many compliments about the music selection. Our tastes are pretty eclectic (pop punk, rock, hip-hop, r&b, etc.) and Ashley absolutely nailed it. Her mixes were sick and there wasn’t a single song that I didn’t dance to. I was worried people wouldn’t want to dance but she made it a real party on the dancefloor. I could NOT recommend her more.

We had DJ Christian Baeza for our event and he was GREAT! All of our guests commented on how this was some of the best DJ mixes they have ever experienced for a wedding reception. If you are on the fence about hiring a DJ like we were, then you will NOT be disappointed hiring MyDJs and DJ Baeza.

DJ Alex was fantastic to work with from start to finish. He helped us narrow down which DJs would match our style and when an issue came up they did everything and more to make it up. We felt comfortable and in good hands. DJ Alex diligently worked with us to make sure our songs worked and find the versions that best worked together for both the ceremony and reception. DJ Gill and the team at My DJs were AMAZING! Our wedding was incredibly involved, with two ceremonies and an Indian baraat, but they were always quick to respond, react, and adapt. DJ Gill was an absolute pleasure to work with and he’s an expert in his field. We’re so grateful for the awesome day he made for us.

My husband and I got married in October of 2021 and we hired MyDJs San Diego to be our DJ. We picked DJ Christian to help host our event. He was extremely helpful and gave us lots of tips for helping make our reception entertaining! The entire night was upbeat and tons of fun and our guests had an amazing time dancing and singing along. We also purchased the package that included a photo booth. This was a huge hit! We have so many photobooth photos of our guests having a fun time with each other and Jewel was amazing at helping our guests prepare for their 3 rapid photos! We recently had MYDJ's for our company Christmas party, Aaron was our DJ and he was FANTASTIC! He was great at engaging the guests to dance and mixed up the genre's perfectly to cover everyone's taste of music. Gill Sotu of MY DJs helped make our daughter's wedding an amazing success, keeping the vibe going and energy up throughout the evening. From listening to and guiding us when selecting the music as we were planning the wedding to performing on the big day, Gill was an absolute professional and truly helped make our event the special and memorable evening that it was.

MY DJs was AMAZING! DJ Gill was incredible and everyone complimented the music he played. He was super fun, good at what he does, and just a joy to work with. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. We also got a photobooth with our package and guests LOVED it! So many guests used it and we even got a gallery of all the photos after the event.

DJ Leon is amazing! The planning sessions felt like I was hanging with a friend. He listened to all of my ridiculous ideas and didn't bat an eye when I requested some non-traditional songs or genres for our big day. At the wedding, he was a huge hit! Everyone loved him and his music selections and mashups. He made the party come to life! I did not stop dancing once all night! I cannot recommend MY DJs and DJ Leon enough!

From our initial phone call to the night of our wedding, MyDJs was great to work with! You can submit song requests and set up your wedding timeline using their online portal which is so convenient/easy to use. We also used them for our photobooth and they did a great job with that too! They had props, background options, template options, etc. We had DJ Al as our DJ and he did an awesome job! He can really read the room and does a good job keeping everyone on the dance floor! He even joined us and taught everyone how to Wobble - which was actually really fun and engaging for everyone! We really enjoyed his energy and music! In fact, I had several people approach me after the wedding complimenting me on the music. I highly recommend MyDJs to anyone looking for a fun & professional DJ for their wedding!

We had the pleasure of DJ magic as our DJ! He delivered as promised the audio connection for our zoom live for guests to listen & watch remotely. The music timing for the ceremony was perfect. Lighting and music throughout the evening was good. The guests were pleased with the dedication section. Alex and DJ Magic were lovely to work with and planning was so much fun. I don't event know where to start they are AMAZING! We hired them in June 2020 for our October 2021 wedding. It was prime pandemic so we had a video chat with Earl the owner/head DJ. He made us feel so comfortable and excited, he demonstrated his DJ skills over zoom and we were hooked. Unfortunately he passed away right before our wedding and we were devastated. The company did a great job of reaching out and making sure we were taken care of. They assigned us another DJ Alex who let us come into the studio and have a live demonstration and explain the next steps moving forward. We wanted to honor Earl and his company and keep our business with them. Alex was AMAZING, answered all questions, set up our playlist and photo booth. The day of he was so FUN and charismatic (including awesome hair flips). He made our wedding so fun, I cannot thank them enough for sticking with us, remaining professional, and reliable. WE LOVE MY DJS!!!

We booked MY DJs and chose DJ Al C. DJ Al C was very friendly and professional. We could tell he genuinely wanted to work with us to make sure everything on our wedding day ran smoothly as possible. Not only was he an amazing DJ/emcee, but he also had fun and was committed to the party just like us and the rest of our guests. MY DJs did not just help us to provide a DJ, but their services allowed us us to plan the entire timeline of our ceremony and reception, right down to the minutes. This was a lifesaver! MY DJs was patient, communicated well, and was easy to work with. I would undoubtedly definitely recommend DJ Al C and MY DJs to all my friends, family, and anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding.

MYDJs and DJ Gill Sotu were the best! I found out about MYDJs because my sister-in-law booked them for her wedding and they were great. I originally booked them for our 2020 wedding (which was then postponed to 2021). I remember seeing a few DJ options and we could watch their videos to get a feel for the DJ and their music tastes. We then hopped on a call with DJ Gill Sotu and thought he was great. They have a cool website portal, where you can pick songs you want for certain events, songs you want played, you can rate music genres, and get recommendations for the events that take place. To be honest, right around my wedding was a stressful time for many reasons, so I never fully filled it all out, but we hopped on a zoom with Gill and my planner a week or so before and I was able to give him an idea of what we liked. I love music, but I'm terrible about knowing what is appropriate for a wedding. I just told him we are millennials that like a mix of old school r&b and classic music and trusted him with his expertise. He was great! We got so many compliments on the DJ, and the dance floor was full all night. We even had a Soul Train line going at one point. So easy, such a success, would definitely recommend MYDJs and Gill Sotu!!
